[00:00:00] Catch the beat. Yes, you are now listening to the sounds of Mr. Logical Coughin.

[00:00:14] This is Sports Reports As Ordered. I am your unorthodox statistician, the Aggie Daddy,

[00:00:20] 2-5, these guitars sound like Parliament, going left so much you thought I was South Park.

[00:00:25] And I got with me, the Even Kill. Born in Texas, raised in VA, representing New Jerroos.

[00:00:31] And he wants you to know, you can have your Las Vegas.

[00:00:35] But holla at him when Las Vegas gets a game named after streets like Monopoly.

[00:00:43] Atlantic City, stand up. Do not bring feelings to a fat fight.

[00:00:50] Tonight, we got picks. We got coaching talk.

[00:00:55] And what the hell is going on down in Miami?

[00:00:58] And for once, we ain't talking about Tua.

[00:01:02] Wild up in here, Sports Reports As Ordered.

[00:01:04] Like, review, subscribe, share, rate.

[00:01:07] Do all the free things.

[00:01:10] Do all the good things.

[00:01:12] Shout out to Liquid Death.

[00:01:14] And let's get it.

[00:01:17] So, Mr. Logical, what's up, Residente?

[00:01:20] You know what I'm saying?

[00:01:21] As we come up on Week 18,

[00:01:25] we got some coaches that might not be in their positions next year.

[00:01:30] So, as we go back through the regular season,

[00:01:34] you know, we've seen Matt Iberflus out at Chicago.

[00:01:37] Correct.

[00:01:37] You know, we saw Dennis Allen out in New Orleans.

[00:01:40] Correct.

[00:01:40] You know, we saw Robert, not Mo Salah, you know, out at the Jets.

[00:01:45] And we saw the Jets interviewing Mike Vrabel today.

[00:01:48] You know, so...

[00:01:49] They also interviewed Louis Riddick for the GM position.

[00:01:52] I saw that.

[00:01:53] They interviewed...

[00:01:53] Allegedly, they're going to interview two other people.

[00:01:55] I forgot the names right now.

[00:01:56] But are there any other coaches on your radar besides Doug Peterson?

[00:02:01] Because I pointed that one out preseason.

[00:02:04] Is there anybody else on your radar that you think should be sweating right now?

[00:02:10] I don't think the coach should be sweating.

[00:02:13] I think the fan base should be sweating.

[00:02:15] The Los Angeles Rams.

[00:02:18] I just feel like this could be...

[00:02:21] I need a gap year, a la Sean Payton in New Orleans with Sean McVay.

[00:02:27] I think it might just be the cupboard.

[00:02:31] It's not bare.

[00:02:34] But I don't know how many more years you're going to get out of Stafford.

[00:02:38] You depend on how their playoff exit goes.

[00:02:41] What your optimism looks like going forward.

[00:02:44] So, I'd be...

[00:02:45] I keep my eye out on that.

[00:02:47] And that's...

[00:02:47] I don't think it's going to be a firing.

[00:02:49] I think it'd just be an abrupt opening.

[00:02:51] So, that's probably my shocking piece.

[00:02:55] I think two first-year coaches, up to three, could be fired.

[00:03:01] And I know it might not be that way because, you know, it's three black coaches.

[00:03:05] I think Atlanta, New England, and Las Vegas.

[00:03:09] I think this is all possibilities that they could potentially go.

[00:03:13] I'm not saying Raheem...

[00:03:16] Because I think it might be a clean house situation.

[00:03:20] I think if you look at it, you're going to look at the roster moves of the last few years.

[00:03:24] You're going to be like, I don't know if the GM is our guy.

[00:03:28] Get Fontenau out of there too, huh?

[00:03:31] Like, if you really step back and you...

[00:03:33] Like I said, I know I'm a fan, but if you step back and think, okay, this is what we have over the last four years.

[00:03:39] This is what we've done four consecutive years.

[00:03:42] We took four offensive players in the draft.

[00:03:46] But neither one of them have really...

[00:03:49] I mean, B. John Robertson is doing his thing.

[00:03:51] I think this is off of natural talent.

[00:03:53] I don't think the flow of the offense has been better.

[00:03:56] Even having these players, I don't think the offense looks easier.

[00:03:59] There's so many games where they can't convert third downs.

[00:04:01] Then you pay a guy $180 million.

[00:04:05] And then you draft...

[00:04:06] So it's like, if you think about it, the people I have in the building,

[00:04:10] you could give them one more year together because they did muster at this point eight wins, potentially nine.

[00:04:18] You could give them another year.

[00:04:19] I'm not saying you should fire them, but if you really evaluate, okay.

[00:04:23] Because if you bring in a new GM, the first thing he's going to do is evaluate the coach.

[00:04:29] So next year, you could be kind of in the same situation you are at the end of this year,

[00:04:33] where it's like, I don't know who has to go.

[00:04:35] Sometimes you just got to rip the duct tape all the way off.

[00:04:38] I don't think it's going to happen, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did happen.

[00:04:42] Because like I said, I would rather marry the GM to the coach with the young quarterback

[00:04:47] and let it go that way versus chopping up the way Chicago does

[00:04:52] and why Chicago is in the position they're in now.

[00:04:54] New England, I just think it just hasn't looked the part.

[00:04:58] I think they have former players and former coaches that have a relationship with the Kraft family

[00:05:03] that they probably feel they can bring in that do a better job.

[00:05:08] I know Gerard Merrill is a former player, but I just think if you look at it, same thing.

[00:05:13] If you look at it, bird's eye view, a lot of this might have to change.

[00:05:19] And I'm not sure that the guy who got us to this point has enough, you know,

[00:05:25] pivot in his philosophy to get us there.

[00:05:26] And I think the Vegas Raiders, I think Antonio Pierce is like just like the whole –

[00:05:32] I think they wanted them to tank.

[00:05:34] I think they wanted him to lose.

[00:05:36] Talk to Lesko.

[00:05:38] Yeah.

[00:05:38] So it's like this whole –

[00:05:40] He's defiant.

[00:05:42] I get he's defiant, but also he's looking like,

[00:05:46] yo, if you fire me, you still got to cut my check.

[00:05:48] So I admire him for that piece.

[00:05:51] So let's stay there for a second.

[00:05:52] Let's stay there for a second.

[00:05:54] So when I look at Antonio Pierce, I want him to succeed, right?

[00:05:59] You know, I'm all about the black head coach plight.

[00:06:03] But when I look at Antonio Pierce, it's one of those situations where he only got the job

[00:06:09] because of the galvanizing effect that he had on the players.

[00:06:14] So it wasn't like a –

[00:06:15] And they didn't hire Tom Telesco.

[00:06:18] Right.

[00:06:19] But it wasn't like a, hey, this guy is a coach that we feel confident that he can take us to the next level

[00:06:28] or that next step.

[00:06:29] You know, it's just the players like him.

[00:06:32] And that's always a toss-up.

[00:06:34] Like you have some situations that work, like Marcus Freeman at Notre Dame

[00:06:38] where he was the players coach and people had their judgments at first.

[00:06:42] But now we're seeing it kind of smoothing out.

[00:06:45] Antonio Pierce has shown us nothing to this point outside of –

[00:06:50] The team is in a bad position personnel-wise as well.

[00:06:53] So I think they are looking like, listen, if we lose a couple of games,

[00:06:58] maybe we could be in the sweepstakes for one of these top two quarterbacks.

[00:07:02] And I don't know exactly what's right now.

[00:07:03] It's like, nope, you fucked that up.

[00:07:05] Yeah.

[00:07:05] So it was like when we needed you to win, you couldn't get wins.

[00:07:09] But we're telling you, like, you know what, just play it out.

[00:07:12] Now all of a sudden you want to put wins together.

[00:07:14] So I think that could be a firing simply because it's just –

[00:07:19] he's going to dare them to fire him.

[00:07:21] Right.

[00:07:22] And so there were a couple of coaches that I thought about.

[00:07:26] Now I don't think all these dudes are going to get fired or anything,

[00:07:29] but these are just names that I think we may just at least hear talk about,

[00:07:35] even if they don't get fired.

[00:07:37] So needless to say, you know, I'll just start with Brian Dayball.

[00:07:41] You know, I don't necessarily think he should be fired

[00:07:44] because I think that he was just given a crappy situation to begin with.

[00:07:48] Like when you don't bring – we already – I ain't going to get too deep into it,

[00:07:51] but when you don't bring back Saquon Barkley and you decide to give Daniel Jones

[00:07:56] $40 million a year, you don't get to blame me for the team failing.

[00:08:01] You know, so that's number one.

[00:08:03] But I think you could hear his name potentially as it's up in the air, 50-50.

[00:08:09] He's going to be one of those – like I said,

[00:08:11] this is going to be a catchphrase of the bird's eye view.

[00:08:14] Dude, Mara sat in that office, and I know these are just clips from Hard Knocks,

[00:08:20] and these are just clips from the internet.

[00:08:24] But I'm going to surmise that from the conversation when he said,

[00:08:28] I'm going to have trouble sleeping at night if Saquon goes to Philly.

[00:08:32] Right.

[00:08:32] Saquon goes to Philly, rushes for over 2,000 yards, has looked good all year long,

[00:08:39] and you wouldn't give him $2 million because they were giving him like $10.8

[00:08:46] with the franchise.

[00:08:48] He went to Philly 3-39.

[00:08:49] They had all the unrealistic incentives.

[00:08:52] Yeah.

[00:08:52] So then you couldn't get a million from this guy's contract,

[00:08:58] a million and a half from this guy's contract,

[00:09:00] and a few million from another group of people's contract,

[00:09:04] and make it work so I can keep safe.

[00:09:06] And it's not like you're paying a top receiver.

[00:09:08] I see him for the game of 17-8.

[00:09:10] You're not paying a top receiver.

[00:09:12] You're not paying a top corner.

[00:09:13] He went there for $13 million.

[00:09:15] You're not paying a top linebacker.

[00:09:17] And you were at 10-8, and you probably lowballed him and offered him 10-5.

[00:09:21] They probably offered him two years, $21 million.

[00:09:24] And he was like, yo, we can't go three years, $36 million?

[00:09:29] They were like, I don't.

[00:09:30] That's why he said, do I really want to give the ball to a $12 million running back?

[00:09:35] He said that a few times.

[00:09:36] So I'm assuming Saquon would have been willing to stay there three years.

[00:09:40] And that's how dumb sports are now because this offseason,

[00:09:44] you're going to see running backs start to get paid again.

[00:09:48] Yeah, especially free agent ones.

[00:09:50] Right.

[00:09:51] I think they ball's out of there because I think the GM's out of there.

[00:09:54] Just clean house.

[00:09:56] I think it's a clean house because you're in the perfect spot for it

[00:09:58] because you're off the quarterback contract that no one liked.

[00:10:00] Like, the GM wrote or signed off on.

[00:10:03] You're going to have a top four or five draft pick.

[00:10:05] You're going to have a top four, realistically, four draft pick.

[00:10:11] Like, you're going to have the market.

[00:10:15] The market, you know how people always sell the market.

[00:10:17] You got the New York market.

[00:10:19] You have a dedicated fan base.

[00:10:20] You have a great stadium.

[00:10:22] Great facilities.

[00:10:23] I just think that you got to clean house.

[00:10:26] You got to do it immediately.

[00:10:28] Like, as soon as their game is probably one of the earlier games,

[00:10:32] I want people out of the building by Sunday at 11.59 p.m.

[00:10:38] Like, go ahead, have your bags packed or we'll get you a pod

[00:10:43] or we'll get you, you know, some of those hardworking people

[00:10:48] who came across the border for a better life,

[00:10:51] help you pack up your office and pack up your truck

[00:10:53] and get you up out of here.

[00:10:54] Right.

[00:10:55] So another coach that I was thinking about,

[00:10:57] another one that I don't think should be fired.

[00:11:00] I got one of those two.

[00:11:02] But you just got to think about what the season has looked like.

[00:11:07] Kevin Stefanski.

[00:11:08] God damn.

[00:11:09] That's mine.

[00:11:11] Oh, okay.

[00:11:11] Well, I got another one.

[00:11:12] I'll give you that one.

[00:11:13] I got another one.

[00:11:14] I thought I knew we were going to be in line

[00:11:16] because I haven't heard anyone say that

[00:11:18] because everyone was looking like, yo, this isn't his fault.

[00:11:20] It's not.

[00:11:21] It's like you gave him.

[00:11:23] He's in more of a precarious situation.

[00:11:26] You ready for this one?

[00:11:27] Than Daniel Jones.

[00:11:28] You ready for this one?

[00:11:29] So Bailey Zappi, Western Kentucky Hilltoppers,

[00:11:34] is starting tomorrow.

[00:11:36] Since the year I graduated high school, 1999,

[00:11:41] he's the 40th starting quarterback

[00:11:45] for the Cleveland Browns in that window.

[00:11:47] Kevin Stefanski, we were just on here last season

[00:11:51] debating whether it's him or D'Amico Ryans

[00:11:53] for coach of the year.

[00:11:54] Coach of the year.

[00:11:55] You know what I mean?

[00:11:56] So I don't think that he should be fired,

[00:11:58] but we're talking about the Browns.

[00:12:01] Yeah.

[00:12:01] But I got two other coaches in this whole

[00:12:04] should they be fired, but they might be fired conversation.

[00:12:07] I got two more.

[00:12:09] Got two more?

[00:12:10] Yeah.

[00:12:11] Ready?

[00:12:12] Okay.

[00:12:14] Shane Steichen.

[00:12:16] Yeah.

[00:12:17] Not because he did anything wrong,

[00:12:20] but Ursae in that franchise.

[00:12:23] You know, they have the NFL leads,

[00:12:25] the league leader in tackles right now,

[00:12:28] and they're still 27th in defense,

[00:12:32] 26th against the run.

[00:12:34] They lost the game at the Meadowlands last week

[00:12:37] with the playoffs on the line.

[00:12:39] He talked about how it's not a big deal

[00:12:42] if the players are late.

[00:12:45] First of all,

[00:12:46] like you're an NFL head coach.

[00:12:48] I know that the world has changed.

[00:12:50] I know society has gotten a little bit softer,

[00:12:53] if you will,

[00:12:55] but you're still an NFL coach,

[00:12:56] and the NFL is one of the places

[00:12:58] where you're still allowed to be an asshole.

[00:13:02] Yeah.

[00:13:03] So I don't know,

[00:13:04] but Richardson's been hurt.

[00:13:06] You know what I mean?

[00:13:07] Of course, again,

[00:13:08] he might play this weekend.

[00:13:09] We'll see,

[00:13:10] but he might be replaced,

[00:13:12] but it's one of those-

[00:13:14] If he had a higher draft pick,

[00:13:15] I could see him getting replaced.

[00:13:17] But it's one of those things where,

[00:13:18] like I said,

[00:13:19] I think Steichen gets,

[00:13:20] he should get another year

[00:13:21] just because we saw the work

[00:13:24] that he put into Jalen Hurts.

[00:13:27] And Jalen Hurts hasn't necessarily,

[00:13:29] he's looked better this season,

[00:13:30] but Jalen Hurts,

[00:13:31] this last two years without Steichen,

[00:13:34] we've been talking about how bad he is

[00:13:36] and if he's a top 10 quarterback or not.

[00:13:38] You know, when he was,

[00:13:39] when Steichen was there,

[00:13:40] we were like,

[00:13:41] yo,

[00:13:41] should he be MVP over Patrick Mahomes?

[00:13:46] So I think he should get another year,

[00:13:48] but just because of the franchise

[00:13:50] that we're talking about.

[00:13:52] I think people are fed up with the GM.

[00:13:54] I think the rumblings with the media,

[00:13:56] I know Pat McAfee talked about it.

[00:13:58] So I think once that,

[00:13:59] once that kind of conversation gets legs

[00:14:01] and people start running with it,

[00:14:03] then it gets to,

[00:14:05] I'm pretty sure the local media

[00:14:06] already has their rumblings.

[00:14:08] And, you know,

[00:14:09] Ursa is an erratic kind of guy.

[00:14:11] Like he's a nepple baby.

[00:14:13] He got his,

[00:14:14] he got the team because his dad

[00:14:15] was a good businessman.

[00:14:17] So there's nothing saying like

[00:14:20] outside of Peyton Manning,

[00:14:21] like what has your organization done

[00:14:23] in 26 years?

[00:14:26] Right.

[00:14:26] I mean,

[00:14:27] they had the Andrew Luck years.

[00:14:28] They made an AFC championship game,

[00:14:29] you know,

[00:14:30] but that was because Peyton Manning

[00:14:33] got hurt.

[00:14:34] And then,

[00:14:34] then it wasn't like you made a move

[00:14:39] to like go from six to one

[00:14:41] because he fell into your lap.

[00:14:43] He fell into your lap.

[00:14:44] Right.

[00:14:44] It's like every other opportunity

[00:14:46] is very similar to a lot of teams

[00:14:49] that just basically just get a guy

[00:14:50] and then everything kind of works out.

[00:14:52] And then after a few years,

[00:14:53] like,

[00:14:53] oh,

[00:14:54] you guys don't know how to pick players.

[00:14:56] These two just fell in your lap

[00:14:57] and this free agent decided to come

[00:14:59] because he's not there

[00:15:00] and you guys had a nice little run.

[00:15:03] All right.

[00:15:03] So I got one more,

[00:15:05] but then I got a wild card.

[00:15:07] Okay.

[00:15:07] So,

[00:15:08] so my categories were,

[00:15:09] I think you're going to get fired.

[00:15:11] You know,

[00:15:12] your Doug Peterson's,

[00:15:13] Antonio Pierce's,

[00:15:14] you know,

[00:15:15] you might get fired,

[00:15:17] but shouldn't just the fans,

[00:15:18] he's in Stikens.

[00:15:19] Now I'm going to give you my two,

[00:15:21] five rant.

[00:15:22] And,

[00:15:23] you know,

[00:15:24] a guy that should be watching,

[00:15:25] his back.

[00:15:27] All right.

[00:15:27] So the two,

[00:15:29] five rant,

[00:15:30] come on down to the carpet,

[00:15:32] Brian Callahan.

[00:15:33] Now I don't normally like to fire first year coaches.

[00:15:36] And no,

[00:15:37] this is not because the Titans were my love of the year.

[00:15:40] It has nothing to do with that.

[00:15:41] It has to do with definitely a complete one 80,

[00:15:45] you know,

[00:15:45] but,

[00:15:45] but,

[00:15:46] but no,

[00:15:46] no,

[00:15:46] because I like the roster moves that they made

[00:15:49] and I gave him the benefit of the doubt of,

[00:15:51] you know,

[00:15:52] they went out and got,

[00:15:53] you know,

[00:15:53] the linebacker right before the season started that they traded to

[00:15:56] Seattle anyway from the Rams,

[00:15:58] you know,

[00:15:58] they went and got LeJarious Sneed,

[00:16:00] you know,

[00:16:01] they went in,

[00:16:02] you know,

[00:16:02] so,

[00:16:02] so I was like,

[00:16:03] Hey,

[00:16:03] they went and got Calvin Ridley.

[00:16:05] So,

[00:16:05] so I was like,

[00:16:06] Hey,

[00:16:06] you know,

[00:16:07] they're making moves.

[00:16:08] Like,

[00:16:08] you know,

[00:16:08] they're not winning the Superbowl,

[00:16:10] but whatever.

[00:16:11] So anyway,

[00:16:12] so he came from Cincinnati,

[00:16:15] you know,

[00:16:15] he was the offensive coordinator under Zach Taylor.

[00:16:18] Maybe Zach Taylor was the offensive coordinator after all.

[00:16:21] Right.

[00:16:22] Because when this is my problem.

[00:16:24] So when you hire defensive coaches like Eber flew staly,

[00:16:28] so on and so forth,

[00:16:29] we talk about how it's a detriment to your young quarterback because they're

[00:16:34] so defense centric.

[00:16:36] They might not even hire the right coordinators because they're focused on

[00:16:40] their piece of the ball,

[00:16:42] their side of the ball.

[00:16:43] So in this scenario,

[00:16:44] you went out and got an offensive coordinator.

[00:16:46] You've got a second year quarterback who showed a little bit last year.

[00:16:50] Like nobody thought he was going to be a pro bowler or anything,

[00:16:53] but he showed a little bit last year to say that will Levis has regressed is

[00:16:58] the understatement of the year,

[00:16:59] but not only is it that your 31st and pass offense,

[00:17:05] your 24th and rush TD.

[00:17:07] So if you're going to be low in passing,

[00:17:09] you got to make it up somewhere else.

[00:17:11] They're 26th in total touchdowns.

[00:17:13] They lost the Jacksonville twice.

[00:17:15] They lost the Eber flues.

[00:17:17] They lost the Sala who ain't on the job anymore.

[00:17:21] You know what I mean?

[00:17:22] So in your team didn't get better.

[00:17:24] So like with the Panthers,

[00:17:25] right,

[00:17:26] they benched Bryce young got a point this year.

[00:17:28] Andy Dalton came in when Andy Dalton got hurt.

[00:17:31] Bryce young came back.

[00:17:32] It looked like something might've clicked,

[00:17:34] you know,

[00:17:35] and Dave Canales was the,

[00:17:37] was the offensive coordinator at Tampa last year.

[00:17:40] I think Dave Canales knows the kind of owner he works for will fire you after one year.

[00:17:44] Well,

[00:17:44] you got to like,

[00:17:46] you got to press it.

[00:17:48] Right.

[00:17:49] Callahan.

[00:17:49] Once again,

[00:17:50] I get it.

[00:17:51] Football.

[00:17:52] And most,

[00:17:52] most industries are your,

[00:17:55] your father does it.

[00:17:57] baby.

[00:17:57] You're probably going to like get involved.

[00:18:00] He hired his father.

[00:18:03] Will Levis was never a good court.

[00:18:06] He wasn't good at Kentucky.

[00:18:07] He just looks the part.

[00:18:09] And when you look the part,

[00:18:11] people will give you a benefit.

[00:18:13] It's,

[00:18:13] it's the pretty privilege.

[00:18:15] If Brian Callahan wasn't white,

[00:18:17] people will call him a DEI hire.

[00:18:18] I mean,

[00:18:22] I think people still,

[00:18:23] they're so bad.

[00:18:24] I think people don't notice who the coaches.

[00:18:28] It's like,

[00:18:29] he sees like Will Levis.

[00:18:31] I think Will Levis putting mayonnaise in his coffee.

[00:18:33] He looks weird,

[00:18:35] quirky.

[00:18:35] Like I say,

[00:18:36] he looks the part.

[00:18:36] He just doesn't play well.

[00:18:39] And I get it.

[00:18:40] The NFL was.

[00:18:41] Callahan custom out too.

[00:18:43] You know,

[00:18:44] he did it two weeks in a row.

[00:18:46] Yeah.

[00:18:46] Which is fine.

[00:18:47] If you're a tenured head coach,

[00:18:50] you know what I mean?

[00:18:50] But in year one,

[00:18:51] that's perfect.

[00:18:53] Absolutely.

[00:18:54] Maybe,

[00:18:54] maybe,

[00:18:55] maybe to some degree.

[00:18:57] No,

[00:18:58] no,

[00:18:58] no,

[00:18:58] no,

[00:18:59] no,

[00:18:59] no,

[00:18:59] no,

[00:18:59] This is sports,

[00:19:00] right?

[00:19:00] That stuff works.

[00:19:02] If you're winning,

[00:19:03] you know what I'm saying?

[00:19:04] Like you can do that.

[00:19:05] Two weeks in a row in the red.

[00:19:07] He did the same thing.

[00:19:08] And they've only got worse since,

[00:19:10] you know what I mean?

[00:19:10] At one point.

[00:19:11] Well,

[00:19:12] that's why I think he's going to keep his job because Will Levis is so bad.

[00:19:16] Yeah.

[00:19:16] He's going to be the next Daniel Jones,

[00:19:17] right?

[00:19:18] Like he's probably out of there this,

[00:19:19] this,

[00:19:20] this off season.

[00:19:20] Yeah.

[00:19:21] He does like,

[00:19:22] cause he's a third round picks.

[00:19:23] I don't think he's guaranteed.

[00:19:24] Maybe you give him another year,

[00:19:25] but if you do so,

[00:19:26] I think you're just delaying the inevitable.

[00:19:28] That might be a little unfair,

[00:19:29] but I'm rolling with it.

[00:19:30] I think Callahan at.

[00:19:32] Rolling with it.

[00:19:33] Drag pick two.

[00:19:35] They're playing.

[00:19:37] They're playing the Texas this weekend.

[00:19:39] Who's resting their starters players,

[00:19:41] but they,

[00:19:42] but Houston probably will still beat them.

[00:19:45] They already playing.

[00:19:46] They already put Rudolph.

[00:19:47] They already.

[00:19:48] Yeah.

[00:19:49] With,

[00:19:49] with Davis Mills are probably still beat them.

[00:19:51] So you're in the running for either.

[00:19:54] One of the top quarterbacks to drive.

[00:19:57] Or you're in the running to get a bunch of pieces from Vegas when they move up.

[00:20:03] Yeah.

[00:20:03] No,

[00:20:04] in Tennessee,

[00:20:04] they'll end up with jail and Mill Road.

[00:20:08] So I think the coach is good there.

[00:20:11] The quarterback is done though.

[00:20:13] All right.

[00:20:13] And then my wild card.

[00:20:15] And this is one of those like double entendres kind of,

[00:20:19] because if Nick Sirianni loses in the wild card round,

[00:20:25] you out of here,

[00:20:26] bro.

[00:20:27] Especially if,

[00:20:28] especially if Washington loses to Dallas this weekend,

[00:20:34] end up as the seven,

[00:20:36] you play Washington for time.

[00:20:38] Number three.

[00:20:40] And you lose a first round game with a rookie quarterback coming into your

[00:20:45] house.

[00:20:46] First year head coach,

[00:20:48] 2000 yard rusher,

[00:20:51] top two or three defense in the league.

[00:20:55] You might got to go dog.

[00:20:56] And if Jordan love come in there and do what he did to Dallas last year,

[00:21:00] you might have to go dog.

[00:21:04] I don't think Philly has a Sirianni problem though.

[00:21:07] I think we have a Sirianni problem.

[00:21:12] No,

[00:21:12] I don't know if it's a Sirianni problem.

[00:21:14] I don't think the team,

[00:21:16] I don't think the GM,

[00:21:18] I don't think the players,

[00:21:19] I don't think there's a problem with Sirianni.

[00:21:22] I think from the outside,

[00:21:25] we think he looks obnoxious and childish and he's ill prepared and he's

[00:21:29] brash and he's braggadocious.

[00:21:32] I think that's our problem.

[00:21:34] So I look at it kind of similar.

[00:21:36] I don't think anybody in the building has that problem.

[00:21:38] I look at it kind of similar to how I was looking at Doug McDermott last year.

[00:21:42] You know what I mean?

[00:21:43] Like,

[00:21:44] so Doug McDermott got shot a little bill because they stripped the roster down

[00:21:48] some.

[00:21:49] Sean McDermott.

[00:21:51] Sean McDermott.

[00:21:52] Yeah.

[00:21:52] I've been Buffalo.

[00:21:52] So since,

[00:21:53] so since they overachieved this year,

[00:21:58] that buys you a certain credibility.

[00:22:00] And,

[00:22:01] you know,

[00:22:01] so even if Buffalo gets upset early or loses to Kansas city again,

[00:22:06] maybe he won't be in trouble now because they overachieved and you got an

[00:22:10] MVP.

[00:22:11] He can,

[00:22:11] but with Sirianni.

[00:22:13] I think that we,

[00:22:15] the people outside of the Buffalo organization felt like losing to Kansas city

[00:22:21] again was a death note.

[00:22:23] I don't think that makes sense to the people inside the building.

[00:22:27] Maybe.

[00:22:28] It may be.

[00:22:29] But,

[00:22:29] but the difference is.

[00:22:30] What are you replacing Sirianni with?

[00:22:32] But the difference is,

[00:22:33] is that Ben Johnson went to the Superbowl two years ago.

[00:22:37] You know,

[00:22:38] you replaced both your coordinators.

[00:22:40] So you started at what?

[00:22:42] 10 and one last year.

[00:22:43] Yeah.

[00:22:44] And it all came crashing down.

[00:22:45] Personality conflict.

[00:22:46] It all came crashing down.

[00:22:48] Just what?

[00:22:49] Three weeks ago.

[00:22:50] We were on here talking about AJ Brown and Jalen hurts.

[00:22:54] And is this going to take them again?

[00:22:56] Now it hasn't yet or whatever.

[00:22:57] It hasn't,

[00:22:58] but you,

[00:22:59] you know,

[00:23:00] you're finishing with the number two seed.

[00:23:02] You know what I mean?

[00:23:03] And you're going to play either your division rival with a rookie

[00:23:06] quarterback that you should stomp.

[00:23:09] Or you're going to play Jordan love who shouldn't catch you off guard

[00:23:13] because we saw what he did at jury world in the playoffs last year.

[00:23:16] So I just,

[00:23:18] I just think,

[00:23:20] I just think that if you lose in the first round,

[00:23:22] you know what I mean?

[00:23:22] Like,

[00:23:23] you know,

[00:23:23] you got the 2000 yard rusher,

[00:23:26] you know,

[00:23:26] you still got AJ Brown.

[00:23:28] Devante Smith is better.

[00:23:29] Goddard.

[00:23:29] Goddard's been healthy.

[00:23:30] You know,

[00:23:31] your defense is number one or two in the league right now.

[00:23:34] You can't lose in the wild card round.

[00:23:37] I don't.

[00:23:38] You,

[00:23:39] yeah,

[00:23:39] you can't replace your coordinators again.

[00:23:41] Cause you replace your,

[00:23:42] cause so usually when you feel like your job is on the line and I'm not

[00:23:46] saying that Sirianni felt that way,

[00:23:47] but normally with head coaches,

[00:23:49] when you start replacing coordinators,

[00:23:52] it's more like,

[00:23:53] Hey,

[00:23:54] my job is on the line.

[00:23:56] So I got to get an extra year.

[00:23:57] So Steichen and Gannon both left because they got a head coaching job,

[00:24:01] but then the guys that were the coordinators last year are gone.

[00:24:06] Now you got two new coordinators all over again to include Vic Fangio.

[00:24:11] Yeah.

[00:24:11] And then you look at,

[00:24:12] how much do you need season?

[00:24:14] You look at their season right now.

[00:24:15] They're 13 and three.

[00:24:18] Two of their losses.

[00:24:21] Are.

[00:24:24] No,

[00:24:24] no,

[00:24:25] no,

[00:24:25] not even that.

[00:24:26] Devante Smith,

[00:24:28] a sure handed wire receiver dropped the pass.

[00:24:30] That would have been a first down.

[00:24:31] I would have ended that game.

[00:24:33] And then Saquon Barkley,

[00:24:35] a sure handed receiver dropped the pass on third down.

[00:24:39] That would have ended that game.

[00:24:41] So there are two drop passes from 15 and one right now.

[00:24:45] And Jalen hurt against Washington.

[00:24:47] It could be 17 and 0 for real.

[00:24:50] Yeah.

[00:24:50] So it was like,

[00:24:51] I just don't.

[00:24:53] I don't think,

[00:24:55] like I said,

[00:24:56] we outside looking at Sirianni.

[00:24:58] I think we all feel he's obnoxious.

[00:25:00] And it's like,

[00:25:01] this can't be the way a head coach is.

[00:25:04] But I think in the Philly organization,

[00:25:08] they're looking at it like this.

[00:25:10] If I fire this guy after he potentially.

[00:25:14] Say drew lock plays his heart out again this week or whoever,

[00:25:17] they start.

[00:25:18] Maybe they pull somebody out of the audience that can fit a jersey and

[00:25:21] kind of throw the ball.

[00:25:22] So they ensure that they keep their top four draft pick.

[00:25:25] Who knows?

[00:25:26] Let's say they lose witness game.

[00:25:30] Philly wins it.

[00:25:31] That means they're 14 and three.

[00:25:35] You fire chip Kelly.

[00:25:37] After he went like 20 and 12 and two seasons,

[00:25:40] you fired Doug Peterson,

[00:25:42] a season removed from when a super bowl.

[00:25:45] And then you,

[00:25:46] you know what he did.

[00:25:48] You fire Sirianni.

[00:25:51] The season.

[00:25:53] So he's two years removed from a super bowl.

[00:25:56] Then they had double digit wins.

[00:25:58] And what people are calling some got like on the same first thing,

[00:26:02] uh,

[00:26:03] person's first,

[00:26:03] a supernatural funk.

[00:26:05] And then they come back and then they win 13,

[00:26:08] 14 games.

[00:26:09] And you fire them because of a playoff loss.

[00:26:10] If I'm a new coach coming in,

[00:26:13] I don't know if I want to be part of that.

[00:26:15] If I'm a new coach coming in,

[00:26:17] I want AJ Brown,

[00:26:18] Devante Smith.

[00:26:20] I want.

[00:26:20] Yeah.

[00:26:20] They all had that.

[00:26:22] They all had.

[00:26:23] I want Cooper Dejean.

[00:26:25] They had all of that.

[00:26:27] I don't want.

[00:26:28] But that's why they can't go out like that.

[00:26:30] Now I'm not saying,

[00:26:32] I'm not saying.

[00:26:33] As my benchmark number or NFC championship or bus in my first year.

[00:26:38] It was a heck.

[00:26:39] I'm not saying that if Philly doesn't go to the super bowl,

[00:26:42] he should be fired.

[00:26:43] I'm not saying that if they don't get to the NFC championship game,

[00:26:46] he should be fired.

[00:26:47] You just can't lose that wild card game is what I'm saying.

[00:26:50] Yeah.

[00:26:51] I just don't,

[00:26:51] I don't know where you go.

[00:26:52] I don't like,

[00:26:55] if you were,

[00:26:56] if you're in a dating pool and someone described their ex and they said

[00:27:01] nothing but great things about them.

[00:27:03] And then you like,

[00:27:05] what happened?

[00:27:05] Like,

[00:27:05] ah,

[00:27:06] the night before the wedding,

[00:27:08] ah,

[00:27:09] she farted.

[00:27:10] So I called the wedding off.

[00:27:12] You like,

[00:27:14] you know what?

[00:27:14] I can't,

[00:27:15] you know what?

[00:27:15] If that happened,

[00:27:16] I know it about the set of a relationship.

[00:27:18] If you,

[00:27:18] if you make that move and I get it,

[00:27:20] farting may bother you,

[00:27:22] but what you called off,

[00:27:24] because you might have to,

[00:27:25] you might have to let it ring like Virginia Williams,

[00:27:27] bro.

[00:27:29] You call off a first date.

[00:27:30] Cause you get in the car.

[00:27:31] Yeah.

[00:27:32] I just meet that person farts.

[00:27:34] And it's like,

[00:27:34] yo,

[00:27:35] we just met.

[00:27:36] I'm just saying they losing the first round.

[00:27:38] Nothing was the same.

[00:27:39] We got people flying in to,

[00:27:40] for a destination wedding.

[00:27:42] And you get a fart.

[00:27:44] And it's like,

[00:27:44] Oh no,

[00:27:44] this is it.

[00:27:45] Like you got replaced.

[00:27:46] You're not getting a good replacement after that.

[00:27:48] Philly,

[00:27:49] Philly.

[00:27:50] I wouldn't say.

[00:27:52] Don't lose in the first round.

[00:27:53] Don't lose the Washington in the first round.

[00:27:55] I'm gonna leave it like that,

[00:27:56] you know?

[00:27:57] And then,

[00:27:58] you know,

[00:27:58] we'll see,

[00:27:59] you know?

[00:27:59] So those are the names that I was thinking about,

[00:28:01] you know,

[00:28:03] Brable's making his rounds.

[00:28:04] You know,

[00:28:04] I heard Brian Flores,

[00:28:06] his name in Ron Rivera,

[00:28:08] potentially for the bears.

[00:28:09] So go hire another defensive coach,

[00:28:11] I guess.

[00:28:12] I think McCarthy gets extended in Dallas just because I don't know if

[00:28:16] Jerry wants to learn a new personality or try to mold another person.

[00:28:20] But if I was McCarthy,

[00:28:21] I might want to leave.

[00:28:23] I would,

[00:28:23] I would definitely use that as my leverage.

[00:28:27] So we'll see.

[00:28:28] But you know,

[00:28:29] it is week 18,

[00:28:31] you know,

[00:28:32] dudes are not playing,

[00:28:34] you know,

[00:28:35] but we got guys like Jimmy Garoppolo,

[00:28:37] you know,

[00:28:38] said coming out the woodwork to make a start.

[00:28:41] So we're going to take it from the top and start with tomorrow.

[00:28:44] I mentioned earlier,

[00:28:46] Bailey Zappi is the starting quarterback,

[00:28:48] you know,

[00:28:50] for the Browns.

[00:28:51] Um,

[00:28:52] Mr.

[00:28:52] Logical,

[00:28:56] Mr.

[00:28:57] Logical.

[00:28:58] I'm listening.

[00:28:59] I'm listening.

[00:28:59] Have you seen the line on this Baltimore Cleveland game?

[00:29:06] Is it 17 and a half?

[00:29:08] It was 17 and a half.

[00:29:11] It's 20.

[00:29:14] It's 20.

[00:29:16] Is Lamar playing?

[00:29:18] Yes.

[00:29:19] Why is he playing?

[00:29:20] Oh,

[00:29:21] cause they got a lot.

[00:29:22] They got to win the division.

[00:29:23] Yeah.

[00:29:23] They still got to win the division.

[00:29:24] But the reason I brought that up,

[00:29:26] this is the highest spread.

[00:29:28] He's been not run the ball at all.

[00:29:29] It should be handoffs.

[00:29:31] I don't want Lamar touched at all.

[00:29:33] I'm giving up.

[00:29:34] I'm bringing a practice squad running backs.

[00:29:36] We're going to run the ball.

[00:29:37] Like Mac Jones,

[00:29:38] remember that when they ran it 48 times against Buffalo.

[00:29:41] I don't want Lamar doing anything in this game to get.

[00:29:44] Well,

[00:29:45] this is,

[00:29:45] this is the biggest spread in the NFL game since 2013.

[00:29:53] Back when Satan Manning was quarterbacking the Denver Broncos against the

[00:29:59] Jacksonville Jaguars.

[00:30:01] The most recent high was 20.

[00:30:04] It was the Houston Texans in 2021 at Arizona.

[00:30:09] And then three weeks before that,

[00:30:10] they were 19 point underdogs at Buffalo.

[00:30:13] So the Cleveland Browns are in rarefied air right now.

[00:30:17] In 20 still might not be enough.

[00:30:22] Cleveland's going to shock the world and cover the spread.

[00:30:25] Well,

[00:30:26] it's kind of crazy.

[00:30:27] You know,

[00:30:28] James Winston,

[00:30:29] you know,

[00:30:29] that was the first game that he started when they shocked Baltimore,

[00:30:33] Cedric Tillman in the back of the end zone early,

[00:30:35] you know,

[00:30:36] late in the fourth quarter there.

[00:30:38] DTR had to be sat down regardless of Cleveland's tanking or not.

[00:30:42] But I guess if you are tanking,

[00:30:43] you would have played them because zero touchdown,

[00:30:46] six interceptions below 40 pass of rating below 20 QBR.

[00:30:51] Like,

[00:30:51] I don't know what we doing with DTR,

[00:30:53] but yeah,

[00:30:55] give me the Ravens and they might just cover this 20 point spread.

[00:30:59] I must say they won't cover.

[00:31:02] Cause I imagine they're going to go up by 20.

[00:31:10] And take the starters out.

[00:31:12] I'm going to say that they're 27,

[00:31:14] three at halftime.

[00:31:16] Lamar is not playing a second half.

[00:31:20] I think we got Josh Johnson.

[00:31:22] Maybe he'll hand the ball off a bunch to,

[00:31:25] you know,

[00:31:26] I think Henry's going to sit.

[00:31:28] Just,

[00:31:28] I think just back.

[00:31:29] Oh,

[00:31:29] your God,

[00:31:30] Justice Hill.

[00:31:31] Yeah.

[00:31:32] I think,

[00:31:32] I think no,

[00:31:33] like in the second half.

[00:31:34] Yeah.

[00:31:34] That's what I'm talking about.

[00:31:35] Yeah.

[00:31:35] I just think through the back and forth of having backups on Baltimore in the

[00:31:39] second half playing that Cleveland is going to,

[00:31:42] somebody is going to pop more for Cleveland and the final score is going to

[00:31:45] be like 27,

[00:31:46] 10,

[00:31:47] but it'd be something,

[00:31:48] it'd be something,

[00:31:49] you know,

[00:31:50] reasonable.

[00:31:51] I don't,

[00:31:51] I don't,

[00:31:52] cause once you're up three possessions on a team,

[00:31:56] that's probably going to figure they're going to get,

[00:31:58] they'll get six first half possessions.

[00:32:01] Lamar's like,

[00:32:02] you know,

[00:32:03] Baltimore is going to probably score quick,

[00:32:04] quick,

[00:32:04] quick.

[00:32:05] They'll get three,

[00:32:07] maybe we'll say five first half possessions and they might get one to

[00:32:11] field goal range.

[00:32:12] Once I'm up three possessions,

[00:32:14] when I get the second half,

[00:32:14] I'm like,

[00:32:15] I don't need any of my starters in there.

[00:32:16] Other than my starting offensive line.

[00:32:18] I wish Derek Henry could get to 2000 yards.

[00:32:21] How many yards does he need?

[00:32:23] Like 400?

[00:32:24] No,

[00:32:24] he needs like 217.

[00:32:26] I mean,

[00:32:31] he's popped a couple for 80.

[00:32:33] Yeah.

[00:32:34] Already.

[00:32:35] All right.

[00:32:36] So he's on top two for 70.

[00:32:38] So I got a question for you.

[00:32:39] 80 to 70 in the first half.

[00:32:42] I got,

[00:32:43] I got a question for you.

[00:32:45] Where are your black air force ones at?

[00:32:47] Oh,

[00:32:48] Mike Tomlin.

[00:32:49] Yes.

[00:32:50] You know,

[00:32:51] they got the Cincinnati Bengals coming in.

[00:32:53] The Bengals have to win this game to keep their chances alive,

[00:32:56] but they still need Miami and Denver to lose.

[00:33:00] So with that being said there,

[00:33:03] you know,

[00:33:03] AFC North game,

[00:33:04] if the Ravens somehow,

[00:33:07] somehow lose this game to the Browns,

[00:33:10] the Steelers can win the division.

[00:33:12] The line on this game.

[00:33:15] And this is where I get into the Mike Tomlin thing where like,

[00:33:18] might be just slight disrespect.

[00:33:21] Bengals favorite by two and a half.

[00:33:23] Going into the former ketchup bottle.

[00:33:26] And you know,

[00:33:27] look,

[00:33:27] I think that's because Joe Burrow has been putting up three.

[00:33:30] No,

[00:33:30] I think it's just because Pittsburgh's been awful over the last.

[00:33:33] Pittsburgh's having put up a lot of points.

[00:33:35] And Joe Burrow's like,

[00:33:37] I don't think it's a slight than Mike Tomlin.

[00:33:39] I think it's more.

[00:33:40] But I think he can sell it to the team.

[00:33:42] Oh,

[00:33:42] absolutely.

[00:33:43] Because,

[00:33:43] because,

[00:33:44] you know,

[00:33:44] they beat Cincinnati four weeks ago,

[00:33:47] 44 to 38 over in.

[00:33:49] I'm playing all black uniforms.

[00:33:50] If I was Pittsburgh over in the queen city,

[00:33:53] no disrespect to resident take,

[00:33:54] cause he don't like that,

[00:33:55] but you know,

[00:33:57] but since that game,

[00:34:01] the Steelers are averaging 13.3 points a game.

[00:34:04] Joe Burrow is 359 yards away.

[00:34:08] So if this turns into one of those 44 38,

[00:34:10] he's 359 yards from being just the 10th quarterback to finish with 5,000 yards,

[00:34:18] he might need it.

[00:34:19] If the secondary plays against Pittsburgh,

[00:34:22] the way they played last week,

[00:34:23] George Pickens should be back.

[00:34:24] You know,

[00:34:25] and I sent you the clip about him,

[00:34:26] you know,

[00:34:27] like,

[00:34:27] did Russell say that?

[00:34:28] Or are you saying that?

[00:34:29] Like,

[00:34:31] so I don't know if Pittsburgh is in a good place right now.

[00:34:34] Like,

[00:34:35] I just think that.

[00:34:36] I think they're always like that.

[00:34:39] I think most teams have like that,

[00:34:42] the ebbs and flow and the outside noise.

[00:34:45] I just think Mike Tomlin,

[00:34:46] the only way you can continue to win at the clip that he does win year in and

[00:34:51] year out is if you truly have the,

[00:34:56] the,

[00:34:56] the,

[00:34:56] the hearts and the minds of the players in the locker room to believe whatever you

[00:35:01] tell them because they,

[00:35:03] because every day,

[00:35:05] every year they performed above their pay,

[00:35:08] you know,

[00:35:08] above their,

[00:35:09] their,

[00:35:09] their pay rate every year.

[00:35:11] And it's like that,

[00:35:13] that has to be attributed to the coach at some point.

[00:35:15] Cause if you,

[00:35:15] if they played under every single time,

[00:35:17] we'd be like,

[00:35:17] yo,

[00:35:18] the coach not getting them ready.

[00:35:19] So the fact that they play over every time,

[00:35:21] it seems like,

[00:35:23] okay,

[00:35:23] maybe he has something.

[00:35:24] It's,

[00:35:25] it's strange because I think Joe Burrow,

[00:35:27] I think the Joe Burrow for MVP conversation that you and I were talking about

[00:35:31] last week.

[00:35:31] No,

[00:35:32] it's taking off.

[00:35:33] Right.

[00:35:33] Everybody's talking about it.

[00:35:34] Sports,

[00:35:34] sports order says it.

[00:35:36] Now,

[00:35:36] all of a sudden,

[00:35:38] everybody's on it now.

[00:35:39] I'm far from God,

[00:35:40] but I work.

[00:35:41] Nevermind.

[00:35:43] No,

[00:35:43] I did.

[00:35:45] So like we had,

[00:35:46] like,

[00:35:47] so we had a conversation last week and it's reasonable.

[00:35:52] Despite the,

[00:35:53] the current,

[00:35:54] was it at eight and eight right now?

[00:35:57] It's like they're eight and eight.

[00:35:59] They got eight wins.

[00:36:00] Cause of Joe Burrow.

[00:36:02] They got eight losses.

[00:36:03] Cause of their defense.

[00:36:04] So I'm saying it's like,

[00:36:05] it's because of Burrow.

[00:36:06] It's like six of them.

[00:36:08] No,

[00:36:09] just seven games in a row.

[00:36:11] He's throw for three times.

[00:36:12] I know,

[00:36:12] but he's had some stinkers.

[00:36:13] He's had some stinkers.

[00:36:14] I don't think we looked at,

[00:36:16] I think it might be one.

[00:36:18] So we'll give them seven wins.

[00:36:21] Seven wins are on Joe Burrow.

[00:36:23] One,

[00:36:23] one on the defense,

[00:36:24] eight losses.

[00:36:24] So this was the NBA Joe Burrow would lead the league and win shares.

[00:36:28] Win shares.

[00:36:29] Absolutely.

[00:36:30] So I think that does factor to it.

[00:36:33] And he is,

[00:36:34] he has like,

[00:36:35] you know,

[00:36:35] he's like a thousand yards more passing than Josh Allen,

[00:36:38] who's probably your leading MVP.

[00:36:40] He's in the same division with Lamar Jackson.

[00:36:43] It would have helped if they could have beaten them.

[00:36:45] But like I said,

[00:36:47] this is a big game.

[00:36:50] Head over heart.

[00:36:52] I'm going to go heart.

[00:36:54] Take Pittsburgh.

[00:36:55] Just because I've been riding Mike Tomlin all year and they're at home.

[00:37:00] It's going to be cold.

[00:37:01] Like I said,

[00:37:02] it's already snowing out here right now.

[00:37:03] I imagine that that cold is going to be around the whole weekend.

[00:37:06] So I,

[00:37:07] I don't think.

[00:37:10] Yeah.

[00:37:13] So I know Joe Burrow is from Ohio.

[00:37:15] They play outside.

[00:37:16] For some reason,

[00:37:17] the Bengals don't have an outdoor practice facility in high schools in Ohio.

[00:37:21] Have them.

[00:37:22] That's neither here nor there.

[00:37:23] Mike Brian might want to spend a little bit of money.

[00:37:26] I just feel like Pittsburgh in that environment,

[00:37:30] you got to run.

[00:37:31] You got to be able to run the ball.

[00:37:32] I'm not sure if Cincinnati can not call pass plates.

[00:37:36] I actually like Pittsburgh too.

[00:37:40] Surprisingly,

[00:37:41] you know,

[00:37:43] Chase Brown busted up his ankle last week.

[00:37:45] So we'll see if he can go Sam Hubbard.

[00:37:48] One of the few good Cincinnati defensive players,

[00:37:50] you know,

[00:37:51] hasn't been practicing this week,

[00:37:52] but something that stood out to me about the first time that they played.

[00:37:56] Um,

[00:37:57] when Jalen Warren and Najee Harris caught the ball out of the backfield combined 122 yards after the catch.

[00:38:07] So the defense is not there.

[00:38:10] Yeah.

[00:38:10] The defense,

[00:38:10] whatever the scheme is,

[00:38:12] is it?

[00:38:13] They're not just on the fly.

[00:38:16] I want to pick Cincinnati just because the playoff is on the line,

[00:38:20] but I just,

[00:38:21] I just don't think I can get there.

[00:38:22] I don't think I can.

[00:38:23] I see a lot of screen passes.

[00:38:26] I see a lot of flat passes to Warren and Najee Harris.

[00:38:30] I say we talk about the defensive head coach.

[00:38:33] I think Arthur Smith,

[00:38:35] I don't,

[00:38:35] I wasn't really a big fan of his play calling in Atlanta.

[00:38:38] Cause I thought it was just kind of predictable,

[00:38:40] but I think on Sunday,

[00:38:42] he's going to need it to just,

[00:38:43] we need to just get points and stops.

[00:38:49] If we can run the ball,

[00:38:51] run the ball.

[00:38:52] We need to hold onto the clock because that game against Philly,

[00:38:55] they didn't get the ball in the second half.

[00:38:57] Right.

[00:38:58] They couldn't get any stops.

[00:38:59] So it was like ball control offense,

[00:39:01] keep the MVP candidate on the sideline and send them home because the last thing you want,

[00:39:07] cause I think Pittsburgh is in no matter what,

[00:39:11] right?

[00:39:11] Yes.

[00:39:11] They're in no matter what.

[00:39:13] So,

[00:39:13] so if Baltimore loses,

[00:39:14] they'll have a chance to win the division.

[00:39:16] If not,

[00:39:18] and they win,

[00:39:20] they go to Houston next week.

[00:39:22] If they lose,

[00:39:23] that opens the door for the chargers to jump them.

[00:39:26] And then Pittsburgh will go to Baltimore next week.

[00:39:28] Yeah.

[00:39:29] So yeah,

[00:39:29] they have a lot on the line.

[00:39:32] Like I said,

[00:39:33] with those three different scenarios,

[00:39:34] like winning your end or winning,

[00:39:36] you get better.

[00:39:38] I think Pittsburgh is going to handle that a little bit better.

[00:39:41] And then,

[00:39:41] and one quick thing real quick before we go to the next game,

[00:39:44] can,

[00:39:45] can the media please stop with this whole Kansas city doesn't want Cincinnati to get

[00:39:50] in thing?

[00:39:52] Like just,

[00:39:53] we'll get back to that.

[00:39:54] Knock it off.

[00:39:55] So let's skip to Sunday night.

[00:39:57] You see it on the screen.

[00:39:58] Make the playoffs.

[00:39:59] You see it on the screen there.

[00:40:01] How the North was one.

[00:40:03] So up at Ford field,

[00:40:06] the purple people eaters are coming through Detroit as a two and a half point favorite.

[00:40:12] And Mr.

[00:40:13] Logical,

[00:40:13] I will have,

[00:40:14] you know that I do like the over in this game,

[00:40:16] even though it's at 55 and a half.

[00:40:20] Cause I don't think a lot of defense is going to be played in this game.

[00:40:25] 55 and a half.

[00:40:27] You know,

[00:40:27] my favorite thing about this game,

[00:40:29] 27,

[00:40:30] 24 is 51.

[00:40:31] That's so pretty high scoring 34,

[00:40:33] 30,

[00:40:34] 24.

[00:40:34] So that's the high scoring game.

[00:40:36] And that's 55 and a half is okay.

[00:40:39] All right.

[00:40:40] Real shoot.

[00:40:41] So real quick,

[00:40:41] before I turn it over to you,

[00:40:42] I'm gonna give you my favorite thing about this game.

[00:40:44] And I'm gonna give you my least favorite thing about this game.

[00:40:47] So my favorite thing about this game,

[00:40:49] Minnesota is nine in one in one score of games this year.

[00:40:53] Detroit is six in one in one score of games this year.

[00:40:57] So neither team is going to falter down the stretch.

[00:40:59] So,

[00:41:00] you know,

[00:41:00] I'm here for that.

[00:41:02] The thing that I hate the most about this game is this media driven,

[00:41:07] Brian Flores fired Ben Johnson in Miami thing.

[00:41:10] Because first of all,

[00:41:12] when the new head coach comes in,

[00:41:13] they usually don't keep any of the previous staff.

[00:41:17] So,

[00:41:17] but that's the thing I've been hearing all week is he fired Ben Johnson when he

[00:41:22] took over Miami.

[00:41:25] Once again,

[00:41:26] has nothing to do with either one of them.

[00:41:28] They have head coaches for each 20s team.

[00:41:30] But anyway,

[00:41:33] this is something that I hate about it.

[00:41:36] Just popped in my head.

[00:41:39] The loser of this game is going to be probably going to LA.

[00:41:49] It's going to have 14 wins.

[00:41:51] Probably going to LA.

[00:41:53] Probably going to LA.

[00:41:55] I don't want to hit a conversation about reseeding.

[00:41:59] And is it fair?

[00:42:01] Now,

[00:42:01] I don't want you to start talking that shit now.

[00:42:04] When you come into the season,

[00:42:06] the vision champs.

[00:42:07] Oh,

[00:42:08] nevermind.

[00:42:08] Wrong sport.

[00:42:09] Your division.

[00:42:11] Get home playoff game.

[00:42:13] I know the 12 team playoff.

[00:42:14] That's where we'll get to it.

[00:42:15] Everyone's like,

[00:42:16] Oh my God,

[00:42:16] all these things are not right.

[00:42:18] It's not a perfect system.

[00:42:20] What's up,

[00:42:20] Alabama?

[00:42:20] It is the system that is established.

[00:42:23] It is a system that you enter the season.

[00:42:27] Knowing full well,

[00:42:28] what the parameters are.

[00:42:30] So.

[00:42:31] Is it going to be hilarious?

[00:42:33] There's going to be a 14 win team on the road in the playoffs.

[00:42:37] Yes,

[00:42:37] but they're going to get one of the,

[00:42:41] they're going to get a team.

[00:42:42] They can be handling.

[00:42:44] So it's like,

[00:42:44] yeah,

[00:42:44] you don't get a home game,

[00:42:45] but if you go to LA,

[00:42:47] LA is basically home games for every visiting team.

[00:42:50] Yeah.

[00:42:51] I'm not on a ramp.

[00:42:52] Like you can cut it out.

[00:42:53] Like I'm not a Rams guy.

[00:42:56] My bad.

[00:42:57] You know,

[00:42:57] people who are.

[00:42:59] So,

[00:42:59] like I said,

[00:43:01] I do.

[00:43:02] I do like,

[00:43:03] I like the fact that it's prime time.

[00:43:04] I like that.

[00:43:05] There's something on the line.

[00:43:08] I,

[00:43:08] I'm already going to like the trick play that Detroit's going to run.

[00:43:12] It's going to be cool.

[00:43:14] Why are you going to run a play where Dan Campbell ends up in the end zone?

[00:43:18] Yo,

[00:43:18] I guarantee you he has a shoulder pads in his office.

[00:43:21] There's an 86 Campbell uniform in the closet and he can activate himself for one game for one play.

[00:43:29] Just the run.

[00:43:30] Like he probably would just run block.

[00:43:32] He wouldn't even want to run around.

[00:43:34] Like I just want to run.

[00:43:34] Like when it's a who you got,

[00:43:37] uh,

[00:43:39] flip a coin.

[00:43:39] I'm going to take the home team.

[00:43:41] Okay.

[00:43:42] Okay.

[00:43:43] So,

[00:43:44] uh,

[00:43:44] I guess theoretically,

[00:43:45] this would be the first pressure game for Sam Darnold.

[00:43:48] Cause I don't think he played any big college football pressure games.

[00:43:53] And I can't,

[00:43:54] I don't recall any NFL ones.

[00:43:55] So this is like the first.

[00:43:57] When.

[00:43:58] When.

[00:43:58] And like this win immediately transfers to something that's like,

[00:44:03] you know,

[00:44:04] grandiose.

[00:44:04] I don't know how he performs.

[00:44:05] And I,

[00:44:06] I know Jared golf.

[00:44:07] I buy into Jared golf.

[00:44:09] I like how he plays.

[00:44:10] So I'll take Detroit and they're at home.

[00:44:12] So I'm going to be a little hyperbolic for a second.

[00:44:14] Let's hear it.

[00:44:16] If Detroit doesn't win this game,

[00:44:19] this whole season might be down the drain,

[00:44:22] you know,

[00:44:23] like to get this far and not end up with the number one seed and losing it

[00:44:27] on your home field.

[00:44:28] But why is that important?

[00:44:30] Because the loser of this game,

[00:44:32] as you mentioned is the five seed.

[00:44:34] Since the playoffs originally expanded in 1978,

[00:44:39] only three,

[00:44:40] five seeds have made the super bowl.

[00:44:43] So the difference in this game could literally be whether you're in new

[00:44:48] Orleans or not at the end of this year,

[00:44:50] or,

[00:44:51] you know,

[00:44:51] in the next month or so.

[00:44:52] So,

[00:44:53] so from there,

[00:44:54] I think it's going to be tough.

[00:44:56] Neither one of the,

[00:44:57] if they're the five,

[00:45:00] I don't think they go to LA.

[00:45:02] Well,

[00:45:03] from what I was reading,

[00:45:04] they're going to go to Tampa Bay.

[00:45:06] From what I was,

[00:45:07] from what I was reading,

[00:45:08] if Tampa wins and the Rams lose,

[00:45:12] you know,

[00:45:13] cause the Rams are sitting people,

[00:45:15] then Tampa would jump the Rams.

[00:45:17] Why would you sit people?

[00:45:20] Because they already got the division.

[00:45:22] If I put,

[00:45:24] if I'm looking at it,

[00:45:25] like I might have to play Minnesota or Detroit.

[00:45:30] I'm not sitting at four.

[00:45:32] Who's at six?

[00:45:34] Green Bay,

[00:45:35] Washington,

[00:45:36] Washington.

[00:45:37] Yeah.

[00:45:40] I'd rather take the rookie over whoever comes out of NFC North.

[00:45:46] Yeah.

[00:45:47] So what I mean,

[00:45:48] this is what I mean with the Rams.

[00:45:49] This was like,

[00:45:50] yo,

[00:45:50] yeah.

[00:45:51] So the Rams are surprised if people are leaving the building.

[00:45:54] Cause like that,

[00:45:55] that,

[00:45:56] that's not a strong move to me.

[00:45:57] Yeah.

[00:45:57] The Rams,

[00:45:58] the Rams are three because they're 10 and six in Tampa's nine and seven.

[00:46:02] But the thought is Tampa wins in the Rams lose since they're arresting people.

[00:46:07] And if that happens,

[00:46:09] then Tampa goes in front of the Rams.

[00:46:10] So that's why I said what I said,

[00:46:12] but yeah.

[00:46:13] Okay.

[00:46:13] Yeah.

[00:46:14] I'm picking Seattle to beat the Rams,

[00:46:16] but,

[00:46:18] but,

[00:46:18] but yeah.

[00:46:19] So,

[00:46:19] so I think that both of these defenses are pitiful when it comes to the past.

[00:46:24] Surprisingly,

[00:46:25] because all we talk about and hear about is Brian Flores sending the house.

[00:46:29] Problem is they get torched.

[00:46:32] So the Detroit is 27th against the past.

[00:46:35] Well,

[00:46:35] I'm sorry.

[00:46:36] They're second worst against the past.

[00:46:37] So they're 31st Minnesota is 28th.

[00:46:40] So it's not as if we're talking leaps and bounds here,

[00:46:44] but the lions are good enough against the run to keep Minnesota one dimensional.

[00:46:51] You know,

[00:46:51] they need the buy because they need the rest players.

[00:46:55] They got all these injuries going on and they just need,

[00:46:58] probably need that extra week to get some fresh bodies for the divisional round.

[00:47:04] But taking Minnesota anyway.

[00:47:07] I mean,

[00:47:08] the pressure's on the lions.

[00:47:10] You,

[00:47:10] you know what I'm saying?

[00:47:10] You're the ones that were expected to be here.

[00:47:13] You're the one that's been the class of the league.

[00:47:16] I know,

[00:47:17] but I'm just saying,

[00:47:19] no,

[00:47:20] but the lions came into this year at,

[00:47:22] or I shouldn't say came into this year.

[00:47:24] They came into this year as NFC championship game.

[00:47:27] Hopefuls at the worst after about week seven,

[00:47:30] you know,

[00:47:31] or whenever they won that game against the Texans,

[00:47:33] where they threw the five picks,

[00:47:35] they went on the little historic run.

[00:47:37] Jerk golf was Dan Marino reincarnated,

[00:47:40] you know,

[00:47:41] saying Gibbs was Thurman Thomas,

[00:47:43] you know,

[00:47:45] I don't think any,

[00:47:50] and predicted it,

[00:47:51] but that is,

[00:47:53] it's,

[00:47:53] it's bananas.

[00:47:55] What happened.

[00:47:57] And then the scene North this year,

[00:47:58] mainly because I think green Bay.

[00:48:02] Cause when it could represent them,

[00:48:05] seen a super bowl.

[00:48:06] So you got two teams that are sitting at 14 wins.

[00:48:09] And I think the third place team in that division could rep.

[00:48:13] That's how good that division is.

[00:48:14] Even though green Bay hasn't been either one of them this year.

[00:48:17] How about that?

[00:48:18] And they haven't beat Philly,

[00:48:19] but I just have a feeling like,

[00:48:20] I just like,

[00:48:21] I just like the way they're playing on a stretch.

[00:48:23] So,

[00:48:23] you know,

[00:48:23] I brought it up a few minutes ago.

[00:48:25] Stop with the Kansas city does not want.

[00:48:28] So,

[00:48:28] so people were saying,

[00:48:29] Oh,

[00:48:30] Kansas city is not going to play my homes and all this stuff because they're

[00:48:33] trying to block Cincinnati.

[00:48:35] No,

[00:48:35] they're not playing my homes and these guys because they already got the

[00:48:38] number one seed locked down.

[00:48:40] It would be idiotic to play those dudes.

[00:48:43] Like what?

[00:48:43] You're trying to keep Denver out.

[00:48:46] Like if anything,

[00:48:47] if you didn't want Cincinnati in,

[00:48:49] you know what I mean?

[00:48:50] Like you would just literally not play Carson Wentz,

[00:48:53] you know,

[00:48:54] like,

[00:48:54] cause I think that Kansas city can still keep this game close,

[00:48:57] you know,

[00:48:58] even though Patrick Mahomes isn't playing.

[00:49:01] So I don't think that that matters as much because Kansas city's defense is

[00:49:04] still good enough.

[00:49:05] Denver is favored by 10 and a half.

[00:49:08] And I'm still betting live money out of my pocket that Kansas city is going

[00:49:13] to cover that.

[00:49:14] You know what I mean?

[00:49:15] And the line,

[00:49:16] the total is 40 and a half.

[00:49:17] Now,

[00:49:18] with that being said,

[00:49:19] Denver has had a chance to clinch this playoff berth for a few weeks now.

[00:49:25] You know,

[00:49:25] they could have beat Cincinnati last week.

[00:49:27] They could have won the week before to put pressure on Cincinnati.

[00:49:30] But,

[00:49:31] you know,

[00:49:31] they should have went for two.

[00:49:32] They should have.

[00:49:33] We said that in real time,

[00:49:34] but you know,

[00:49:35] saying Carson Wentz said I'm back.

[00:49:37] Re-incollinated.

[00:49:39] Listen,

[00:49:40] when we,

[00:49:41] as I saw the Darren Sproles interview,

[00:49:43] Darren Sproles interview with a shady and Deshaun Jackson,

[00:49:48] he talked about how,

[00:49:49] you know,

[00:49:50] Carson Wentz went and throwing the ball when he was at the first read,

[00:49:53] because he kept going to the tight end.

[00:49:55] And it's a lot of tight ends that run routes in Kansas city.

[00:49:59] So I figured Carson Wentz is going to,

[00:50:00] I mean,

[00:50:01] and Carson Wentz was an MVP candidate until he tore his ACL.

[00:50:04] So Denver is really slack.

[00:50:08] This is why you can't take.

[00:50:09] Cause somebody might bring Carson Wentz in next year,

[00:50:11] depending on how he looks right now.

[00:50:13] You know what I mean?

[00:50:13] Like he's still trying to stay around.

[00:50:15] You can't tank just because everybody's out there auditioning.

[00:50:19] Even the guy who got called up from the practice squad to be the right guard

[00:50:24] for the Raiders this week is auditioning to be on somebody else's practice

[00:50:29] squad,

[00:50:30] or maybe he could be the right guard starting for the jets next year.

[00:50:34] He has no idea,

[00:50:35] but the,

[00:50:36] what he puts on tape this week could determine that.

[00:50:40] So you can't slack.

[00:50:42] So NFL game.

[00:50:43] Yeah.

[00:50:44] You're going to have some advantages with like a team like Baltimore playing

[00:50:47] against Bailey Zappi when Baltimore has to play for the division.

[00:50:49] You're not going to slack.

[00:50:52] Right.

[00:50:53] You know,

[00:50:53] and whoever new Orleans puts on the field could be tough because they,

[00:50:57] they've been having trouble fielding that backup quarterback position for the

[00:51:01] last eight or nine weeks with their car coming in and out of the lineup.

[00:51:05] So we get that it's tough,

[00:51:08] but when you have a former starter,

[00:51:10] like Davis Mills,

[00:51:12] Houston versus Tennessee.

[00:51:14] If they start Davis Mills,

[00:51:15] he started for like a whole season.

[00:51:17] He was the number one rated quarterback coming out of high.

[00:51:19] He's really had decent college career.

[00:51:23] He could beat you with the people who are auditioning from Houston to go to

[00:51:28] another team.

[00:51:28] Like we talked about the 25% changeover.

[00:51:31] There's going to be guys out there.

[00:51:33] It's going to be guys out there running way harder,

[00:51:35] tackling really hard,

[00:51:36] running these routes,

[00:51:37] trying to get something on film to where they could be on a contender next

[00:51:42] year,

[00:51:43] or even just ensure themselves a spot on the current team or another team next

[00:51:47] year.

[00:51:48] Yeah.

[00:51:48] And just like the great HBK,

[00:51:50] Sean,

[00:51:51] Michael said,

[00:51:52] I'm the champ and I don't lay down for nobody.

[00:51:55] So,

[00:51:55] you know,

[00:51:56] believe in Denver that much.

[00:51:58] If you want to,

[00:51:58] I'm a pick Denver to win,

[00:51:59] but don't be surprised if this still comes down to the wire and Denver needs a

[00:52:04] drive or a field goal or something to ice this game.

[00:52:08] All right.

[00:52:08] So then you got Washington coming into Jerry world with my,

[00:52:16] with my MVP,

[00:52:20] Jaden Daniels,

[00:52:22] you know,

[00:52:23] with his 10 touchdowns,

[00:52:25] two interceptions and 111.3 passer rating on the road this season.

[00:52:30] You know,

[00:52:31] Austin Eckler coming back from injury,

[00:52:34] Washington's locked and loaded and ready for the sixth seed.

[00:52:37] But as I say,

[00:52:39] all that,

[00:52:39] I remember what happened a couple of weeks ago.

[00:52:42] Are they going to play him?

[00:52:44] You know what I'm saying?

[00:52:44] They're like,

[00:52:45] yeah,

[00:52:45] you got to because well,

[00:52:48] well,

[00:52:48] okay.

[00:52:48] So this follow me here.

[00:52:50] So I'm the type of dude,

[00:52:52] cause I'm a fan.

[00:52:53] I'm not on the staff.

[00:52:55] I'm not in the locker room.

[00:52:56] So for me,

[00:52:57] my motto is you just got to play who's in front of you.

[00:53:01] And if you want to go to the Superbowl,

[00:53:03] you got to count on having to beat a good team at some point.

[00:53:07] If I'm on the staff and in that locker room,

[00:53:10] I might say to myself,

[00:53:12] put your hoodie on.

[00:53:13] If we win,

[00:53:14] get them in.

[00:53:15] We avoid Philly.

[00:53:16] We avoid Philly.

[00:53:18] You know,

[00:53:18] so I can either play Philly or I could play the Rams or Tampa.

[00:53:25] How are you getting to five?

[00:53:27] Oh,

[00:53:27] I'm sorry.

[00:53:27] My bad.

[00:53:28] My bad.

[00:53:28] I said that wrong.

[00:53:29] My bad.

[00:53:29] My bad.

[00:53:30] Yeah.

[00:53:30] I can avoid Philly and hold on.

[00:53:33] Who's three.

[00:53:35] No,

[00:53:36] the Rams are three right now.

[00:53:37] So,

[00:53:38] so if the Rams win and I'm six,

[00:53:40] I would play the Rams.

[00:53:42] Well,

[00:53:43] you got 11 wins right now.

[00:53:45] So I can't win the division.

[00:53:48] Can't win the division.

[00:53:49] So Washington's either going to be six or seven.

[00:53:51] So five is going to be.

[00:53:54] The Minnesota Detroit loser.

[00:53:56] Minnesota Detroit loser.

[00:53:58] Green Bay is seven.

[00:54:01] Green Bay only has 10 wins.

[00:54:03] Yeah.

[00:54:05] Yeah.

[00:54:06] Green Bay is seven right now.

[00:54:07] Green Bay is 11 and five.

[00:54:09] They're 11 and five,

[00:54:10] just like Washington,

[00:54:11] but Washington's ahead,

[00:54:13] you know?

[00:54:13] So if Washington wins,

[00:54:15] Washington's locked into the six,

[00:54:17] Green Bay's locked into the seven.

[00:54:18] If Washington loses and Green Bay wins,

[00:54:22] Green Bay can get into the six.

[00:54:23] Washington goes to the seven.

[00:54:25] So if I'm Washington,

[00:54:26] I got to win this game.

[00:54:28] If I don't want to play Philly for the third time.

[00:54:30] So every team in the NFC playoffs,

[00:54:36] it's still playing for position.

[00:54:38] Double digit wins.

[00:54:39] If the Buccaneers win,

[00:54:41] they're three at 10 and seven.

[00:54:44] The Rams,

[00:54:45] if they decide to sit and fall to four,

[00:54:49] which I don't know if that would be a lot of moves.

[00:54:50] Garoppolo's starting.

[00:54:51] So I'm just saying it's out there.

[00:54:52] So they fall,

[00:54:53] potentially fall into four with 10 wins.

[00:54:56] Then your five seed is going to be.

[00:55:00] Minnesota or Detroit.

[00:55:01] And then your six seed is at least 11 or 12.

[00:55:06] Win team.

[00:55:07] And your seven seed can still be a 12 win team.

[00:55:10] Right.

[00:55:11] That's chaos.

[00:55:12] Yeah.

[00:55:13] So,

[00:55:13] but that's,

[00:55:15] I'm picking Washington to win,

[00:55:16] but I'm just saying that like,

[00:55:18] I can imagine somebody somewhere is saying,

[00:55:22] Hey,

[00:55:22] you know what?

[00:55:24] Let's push off a third Philly game as long as we can.

[00:55:28] You know,

[00:55:29] but Washington is favored by six.

[00:55:31] You're over under is 43 and a half down from 45 and a half where it

[00:55:35] opened.

[00:55:37] So there you go.

[00:55:38] Who are you rolling with?

[00:55:40] Commanders win probability is 72%.

[00:55:42] It was probably about the same last time they played Dallas.

[00:55:50] I'm wondering how many players Dallas is going to sit.

[00:55:54] Well,

[00:55:54] I know,

[00:55:55] you know,

[00:55:55] they already shut down CD lamb.

[00:55:57] Um,

[00:55:59] you know,

[00:56:00] Diggs is out for the season already.

[00:56:02] So we'll see,

[00:56:03] you know,

[00:56:04] Mike are going to play.

[00:56:05] Is the defensive line going to play?

[00:56:07] I think they're going to play.

[00:56:09] Are you going to run with some practice squad QB?

[00:56:12] I would like to think that it's your rival.

[00:56:15] So I would like to think that you will,

[00:56:18] you know,

[00:56:19] but we'll see,

[00:56:20] you know,

[00:56:20] so,

[00:56:21] um,

[00:56:22] over in your other neck of the woods down there where they say the real

[00:56:26] cheesesteaks are,

[00:56:27] you know,

[00:56:29] no,

[00:56:29] down in,

[00:56:30] uh,

[00:56:30] ill Adelf,

[00:56:31] you know,

[00:56:32] you got the giants coming in.

[00:56:34] And for some strange reason,

[00:56:35] everything that I've been reading this week says that Tanner McGee is going

[00:56:39] to start the game for the Eagles.

[00:56:41] Nick Sirianni came out and crushed my dreams and said,

[00:56:44] the St.

[00:56:44] Juan's not going to play.

[00:56:46] And I look at this and the Eagles are still favored by three in this

[00:56:50] game.

[00:56:52] And you know,

[00:56:53] the over under at 37 and a half,

[00:56:55] I think it goes under,

[00:56:56] but the Eagles are still favored by three in this game,

[00:57:00] which I guess is home field,

[00:57:02] but still home field.

[00:57:03] And it's the giants.

[00:57:05] And there's so many people who already have,

[00:57:08] there's guys already have their stuff packed in that locker before they even

[00:57:11] hit the Pennsylvania for the scheme.

[00:57:13] So I do have a question for you though.

[00:57:16] So I know say point Sirianni says St.

[00:57:18] Juan's not playing.

[00:57:21] Should you roll Jalen hurts out there for a quarter or two?

[00:57:24] Not at all.

[00:57:26] Cause you know,

[00:57:27] he's been out with the concussion.

[00:57:28] He hasn't taken a live snap,

[00:57:30] you know,

[00:57:31] in two weeks taken enough years.

[00:57:33] He's played enough football that him not playing one week to rest because he had a concussion

[00:57:40] will not hurt your chances.

[00:57:43] You know,

[00:57:44] if he's good to go.

[00:57:45] Okay.

[00:57:46] All right.

[00:57:46] Well,

[00:57:47] I'm going with Philly anyway.

[00:57:50] No matter what.

[00:57:52] I'm thinking Saquon might talk his way onto the field.

[00:57:55] I hope he does,

[00:57:56] but I don't think,

[00:57:58] like I said,

[00:57:58] I,

[00:57:59] like I said,

[00:57:59] when we had the conversation,

[00:58:00] we don't need to,

[00:58:01] I thought it was going to be Saquon.

[00:58:04] Like saying,

[00:58:05] I didn't,

[00:58:05] I was good in Sirianni.

[00:58:06] Like now you can go for it.

[00:58:08] It just,

[00:58:08] it was flipped,

[00:58:09] but yeah.

[00:58:11] All right.

[00:58:11] So then a game that Mr.

[00:58:14] Logical has his eyes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,

[00:58:17] 14 point favorites,

[00:58:19] 43 and a half as you're over under the new,

[00:58:22] the new Orleans saints visiting Tampa.

[00:58:24] How is it that somehow,

[00:58:27] some way the saints hold the key to the Falcons making the playoffs?

[00:58:33] Because the Falcons head coach didn't call a timeout last week with 34 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter in a tie game.

[00:58:41] You remember what happened last time Tampa and new Orleans played this year?

[00:58:45] It was one of the wildest games I've seen,

[00:58:52] you know,

[00:58:52] like Baker Mayfield had three interceptions in the second quarter alone.

[00:58:57] You know,

[00:58:57] if I remember correctly,

[00:58:59] it was Spencer Rattler's first start.

[00:59:00] The halftime score was 27,

[00:59:02] 24.

[00:59:04] And then Tampa outscored the saints,

[00:59:06] the rest of the way,

[00:59:07] 24 to three and one 51 to 27.

[00:59:10] You know,

[00:59:11] Mike Evans,

[00:59:12] right?

[00:59:13] Mike Evans has incentives needs 85 more yards.

[00:59:17] They hit a thousand yards for the 11th straight season.

[00:59:21] And guess what?

[00:59:22] There's no Marcus Lattimore out there or Marshawn Lattimore out there.

[00:59:26] So give me Tampa.

[00:59:28] Give me Tampa big.

[00:59:32] Yeah.

[00:59:32] Unfortunately,

[00:59:33] I'm going to have to agree with you.

[00:59:36] I mean,

[00:59:36] as far as the playoff hopes of the Falcons,

[00:59:39] it would be an absolute Christmas miracle for new Orleans to be Tampa Bay.

[00:59:45] Christmas already been gone.

[00:59:47] So like the,

[00:59:50] that timeout hindsight,

[00:59:56] I'm going to be thankful for that lack of that timeout because it's going to

[01:00:01] cause,

[01:00:03] it's going to make,

[01:00:05] it should make people in the building,

[01:00:08] players,

[01:00:09] coaches,

[01:00:10] executives,

[01:00:12] really look at the team and say,

[01:00:14] was this a playoff team?

[01:00:16] Or are we just playing in a pitiful division?

[01:00:20] Because that,

[01:00:21] that,

[01:00:22] that's the stretch of five games where Kirk cousins had one touchdown,

[01:00:27] nine interceptions.

[01:00:28] They were one in four and nothing.

[01:00:31] There was no changes.

[01:00:32] No one got benched.

[01:00:33] No one was moved up.

[01:00:34] The scheme wasn't different.

[01:00:35] And then the games,

[01:00:37] like there were a couple of blowouts and then they had,

[01:00:39] they had a couple of bad losses before then,

[01:00:41] like the Seattle game.

[01:00:42] I think they lost by 20 at home,

[01:00:44] you know?

[01:00:45] So it's just,

[01:00:47] it's,

[01:00:47] if they made the playoffs,

[01:00:49] I think the whole entity champion hat and t-shirt would blind them from the

[01:00:56] actual flaws that they need to repair,

[01:00:58] not making a playoffs,

[01:01:00] not making the playoffs because they,

[01:01:01] you know,

[01:01:02] their,

[01:01:02] their,

[01:01:03] their draft tactics and everything else.

[01:01:05] Hopefully that makes them not make me scream at the TV in the first round

[01:01:12] of the draft pick for the third year in a row,

[01:01:16] fourth year in a row at this point.

[01:01:17] Cause Kyle Pitts,

[01:01:18] I was on board with.

[01:01:20] Might that make sense?

[01:01:21] Matt Ryan,

[01:01:22] Kyle Pitts.

[01:01:22] Where it is,

[01:01:23] Kyle Pitts might be in Kansas city next year.

[01:01:26] The problem,

[01:01:27] like,

[01:01:27] and I was,

[01:01:27] I was talking to my father about this a few months ago.

[01:01:31] I was like,

[01:01:31] the problem is they should have packaged him with,

[01:01:37] to try to move up in a draft.

[01:01:40] And he was like,

[01:01:41] he's no good.

[01:01:42] I don't think people want him.

[01:01:43] Like it's different.

[01:01:44] It,

[01:01:45] the optics are different.

[01:01:47] If you look desperate,

[01:01:48] I feel like,

[01:01:49] Hey,

[01:01:49] I'm trying to get from eight to two out.

[01:01:52] I'll throw him whatever.

[01:01:54] And then you put in,

[01:01:55] you go,

[01:01:55] I'll give you the first.

[01:01:56] I'll give you my eight this year.

[01:01:58] I'll give you my first this year.

[01:02:00] Kyle Pitts in a second next year.

[01:02:02] And it's like,

[01:02:02] it doesn't look like you're dumping him off.

[01:02:05] It looks like you're so desperate to get from eight to two.

[01:02:08] You're willing to part with this generation.

[01:02:10] Like Kyle Pitts is talented enough,

[01:02:13] or at least people think that he's talented enough.

[01:02:16] That somebody is always going to take a chance on a player like that.

[01:02:20] The problem is certain stats.

[01:02:22] Like I saw Chris Godwin stat before the Washington game.

[01:02:26] And it said,

[01:02:27] Chris Godwin hasn't played since October 21st.

[01:02:30] And he still has like 30 or 40 more receiving yards and Kyle Pitts.

[01:02:34] And he,

[01:02:34] so it was like stuff like that.

[01:02:36] He has some catches in the touchdown.

[01:02:38] I think him and Penix might work because,

[01:02:40] you know,

[01:02:40] you got a young quarterback and a tight end,

[01:02:42] but if they,

[01:02:43] if they were going to try to move him,

[01:02:45] they could,

[01:02:45] they should have packaged it up in some,

[01:02:47] like some desperation.

[01:02:48] Hail Mary to try to move up in the draft,

[01:02:50] which they don't do.

[01:02:52] So.

[01:02:52] Yeah.

[01:02:53] So speaking of Kyle Pitts's team,

[01:02:56] you know,

[01:02:56] they got Carolina coming in there eight and a half point favorites over on

[01:03:00] the 47 and a half last week without Chuba Hubbard,

[01:03:03] Tampa was able to hold Carolina to 39 rush yards.

[01:03:08] Give me the Falcons.

[01:03:10] Cause that'll be what they do.

[01:03:11] They'll win the game that it doesn't matter because Tampa wins.

[01:03:15] Nine and eight.

[01:03:16] And there'll be drafting 17 or 18.

[01:03:24] There you go.

[01:03:24] There you go.

[01:03:25] They'll get some,

[01:03:26] they'll get some guard out of Iowa.

[01:03:30] All right.

[01:03:31] So we got some games that,

[01:03:32] you know,

[01:03:32] Sam,

[01:03:33] we're going to breeze by real quick.

[01:03:35] So you got San Francisco as a four and a half point underdog going to

[01:03:40] Arizona over unders 42 and a half.

[01:03:44] I'm taking the 49ers anyway.

[01:03:47] Even though,

[01:03:49] um,

[01:03:50] I'm not sure.

[01:03:50] Um,

[01:03:51] but I know Calamari only needs 50 more yards and a touchdown for 750,000

[01:03:56] smack a roos.

[01:03:58] I'll take Arizona.

[01:03:59] All right.

[01:04:00] I'm going,

[01:04:00] I'm going with the Niners.

[01:04:02] All right.

[01:04:03] Then you got Buffalo.

[01:04:04] Buffalo.

[01:04:05] The bills,

[01:04:06] the number two seed locked in two and a half point favorites against new

[01:04:11] England.

[01:04:12] So Josh Allen is going to start because,

[01:04:14] you know,

[01:04:15] he just wants the consecutive streak thing going on.

[01:04:18] He's this'll be game number one 15 for him.

[01:04:20] So he's going to start.

[01:04:22] He's not going to play probably much more after the first possession.

[01:04:25] If three handles in the plant.

[01:04:28] Yeah,

[01:04:28] there you go.

[01:04:29] um,

[01:04:29] you know,

[01:04:30] saying,

[01:04:30] so give me new England,

[01:04:31] you know,

[01:04:31] Drake may,

[01:04:32] you know,

[01:04:33] getting it,

[01:04:33] getting it done.

[01:04:36] So I think they'll sit Drake may.

[01:04:39] I know.

[01:04:40] I think,

[01:04:41] I think,

[01:04:41] I think he'll play,

[01:04:42] I think he'll play,

[01:04:44] but I think that they will play.

[01:04:46] Josh.

[01:04:47] When Josh Allen goes out,

[01:04:49] Drake may is going to go out.

[01:04:50] Cause allegedly we're going to see Joe Milton.

[01:04:52] You know what I mean?

[01:04:53] So then.

[01:04:54] That's an audition.

[01:04:55] We will see a 70 yard bomb.

[01:04:57] Up in your real neck of the woods.

[01:05:00] You know,

[01:05:01] the day one fan.

[01:05:02] Chris is going to be up in the metal lands for Miami favored by one point over Aaron Rodgers in the jets.

[01:05:09] It looks like it might be up the pro bowl Huntley to keep hope alive,

[01:05:13] provided that Denver loses.

[01:05:15] So this is the question.

[01:05:17] How bad does Miami want to go to Buffalo?

[01:05:24] I mean,

[01:05:25] it's cold.

[01:05:27] They better hope it's not.

[01:05:28] Hey,

[01:05:29] and up in the metal lands.

[01:05:30] Hey,

[01:05:31] you know,

[01:05:31] it's going to be cold.

[01:05:33] Yeah.

[01:05:33] Like I said,

[01:05:34] it's already snow on the ground now.

[01:05:36] So Miami wins.

[01:05:38] Yeah.

[01:05:38] I'm taking Miami.

[01:05:40] They're in.

[01:05:41] Yes.

[01:05:42] So Cincinnati's at the bottom.

[01:05:44] Cincinnati needs both of them lose.

[01:05:48] I'm taking Miami though.

[01:05:49] I'm still like the jets are over.

[01:05:51] I'm done with the jets.

[01:05:52] I'm taking it just because Miami doesn't win when it's cold.

[01:05:55] Okay.

[01:05:56] Fair enough.

[01:05:56] You know,

[01:05:57] then you got the Chicago bears going up to Lambeau field to play a team that

[01:06:03] they have not beat since 2018.

[01:06:06] For those of you keeping count at home,

[01:06:08] that's 11 straight games to go along with their 10 game losing streak this

[01:06:13] season.

[01:06:13] And speaking of the number 10 green Bay's favorite by 10 over under 41 and a

[01:06:20] half.

[01:06:21] And all I can do is take the bears to cover green Bay wins.

[01:06:24] Yeah.

[01:06:26] Yeah.

[01:06:27] Houston at Tennessee.

[01:06:29] You know,

[01:06:30] we've been talking about this game a little bit for some strange reason,

[01:06:33] Tennessee favorite by a point and a half over under at 36 and a half.

[01:06:37] I don't think they get to the 36 and a half and I don't think Tennessee wins.

[01:06:41] Brian Callahan.

[01:06:43] Watch your back.

[01:06:45] 1913 Houston wins.

[01:06:47] Yeah.

[01:06:48] And then you got Jacksonville.

[01:06:49] Callahan safe because we'll love us is so bad.

[01:06:52] We'll see.

[01:06:53] You know,

[01:06:54] you got Jacksonville at Indianapolis,

[01:06:56] you know,

[01:06:57] it's one of those things,

[01:06:58] right?

[01:06:58] If this game was in Jacksonville,

[01:07:01] then you just pick the Colts.

[01:07:02] Cause I mean the Jags,

[01:07:04] cause the Colts haven't won there since 2014 and went,

[01:07:06] you know,

[01:07:07] but it is in Indy.

[01:07:09] Indy is favored by five.

[01:07:11] There is a chance that Anthony Richardson could play.

[01:07:13] So I'm going to just say if Anthony Richardson plays,

[01:07:16] the Colts win.

[01:07:17] If he doesn't Jacksonville somehow pulls it out unless they don't want to.

[01:07:23] Yeah.

[01:07:24] I don't think they will.

[01:07:25] And I imagine some guy named like Trey Thompson out of upper Montana state is

[01:07:34] going to be the starting quarterback to ensure that Jacksonville doesn't lose

[01:07:38] their draft position.

[01:07:39] They,

[01:07:41] because if they fire their coach,

[01:07:42] they have to have a sexier position in five.

[01:07:46] Right.

[01:07:46] Right now,

[01:07:47] new England is probably going to lose.

[01:07:49] Tennessee is probably going to lose.

[01:07:51] Cleveland's going to lose.

[01:07:53] The giants would be the only organization that will go out there and lay it on

[01:07:57] the line because their rivalry is like deep,

[01:08:02] like giants,

[01:08:05] Philly giants,

[01:08:06] Eagles.

[01:08:06] That's like a real rivalry.

[01:08:07] So I can see giants players really trying to win that game.

[01:08:12] I don't know.

[01:08:13] Jacksonville,

[01:08:13] Indianapolis is a big enough rivalry for guys to really go out there.

[01:08:16] Like,

[01:08:17] I really want to win this game for the 12 year rivalry.

[01:08:21] We had whatever,

[01:08:22] whatever the number is.

[01:08:23] I don't think it's that deep.

[01:08:24] I think new England is going to lose.

[01:08:26] I think Tennessee is going to lose.

[01:08:28] Cleveland's definitely going to lose.

[01:08:30] So I think Jackson,

[01:08:31] like I said,

[01:08:31] they're going to start some guy from upper Montana state probably.

[01:08:35] Well,

[01:08:35] you got the chargers favored by four going into sin city,

[01:08:41] you know,

[01:08:41] over under 41 and a half.

[01:08:43] So this game,

[01:08:44] I guess will probably depend on what happens on Saturday because if the

[01:08:49] Steelers win,

[01:08:50] the charges are locked into their spot and happy that,

[01:08:53] you know,

[01:08:54] you know,

[01:08:54] they don't have to go to Baltimore.

[01:08:56] So I wouldn't say they're happy,

[01:08:57] but they would end up going to Baltimore in that scenario.

[01:09:00] If Pittsburgh loses,

[01:09:02] you probably have the charges play so they can get out of the Baltimore game.

[01:09:05] I'm a go with the Raiders.

[01:09:07] They want to go with the Baltimore game and have another brothers bowl.

[01:09:09] No,

[01:09:10] they don't want that.

[01:09:12] They don't want that because it's in the cold this time.

[01:09:15] You know what I mean?

[01:09:15] Last time they got Baltimore at their place,

[01:09:17] they still got Molly walked.

[01:09:19] They not trying to freeze.

[01:09:21] Yeah.

[01:09:21] The Super Bowl in New Orleans indoors.

[01:09:23] Yeah.

[01:09:23] But like I said,

[01:09:24] though,

[01:09:24] right.

[01:09:25] Chargers might be built for the playoffs.

[01:09:27] So,

[01:09:27] you know,

[01:09:27] we'll say,

[01:09:28] you know,

[01:09:29] you got Seattle and the Rams,

[01:09:32] you know,

[01:09:32] over at SoFi,

[01:09:34] Seattle favored by six and a half over under 38 and a half.

[01:09:39] Jimmy Garoppolo getting the start.

[01:09:42] Seattle looking for their first 10 win season since 2020 or double digit,

[01:09:48] at least.

[01:09:48] So 10 wins since 2020.

[01:09:51] Give me Seattle to close off the season on a good note.

[01:09:54] 10 wins.

[01:09:56] You're not even locked out of the playoffs.

[01:09:59] Yeah.

[01:10:00] So,

[01:10:00] which is crazy too,

[01:10:01] because they got locked out last week on percentage points,

[01:10:04] even though they played a Rams this week.

[01:10:06] So you would think that the division would be on the line,

[01:10:09] but,

[01:10:09] you know,

[01:10:10] but it's just no space for them.

[01:10:11] Cause then it's in North.

[01:10:12] Yep.

[01:10:13] There you go.

[01:10:14] So there you go.

[01:10:15] That's our picks for this week.

[01:10:16] And I just want to take a moment.

[01:10:18] I promised I was going to make a shout out.

[01:10:20] How are you doing Alabama?

[01:10:24] How are you doing guys?

[01:10:25] I think the,

[01:10:26] I think the entire gripe post CFP rankings was completely premature.

[01:10:36] Sure.

[01:10:37] And everything always settles itself.

[01:10:40] You know,

[01:10:40] who else lost South Carolina.

[01:10:47] And then Ole Miss went out there,

[01:10:49] put 52 points on Duke.

[01:10:51] And it was a great season,

[01:10:53] 10 wins.

[01:10:54] And Lane Kiffin talked about 21 wins in the last two years.

[01:10:57] It was great.

[01:10:58] The problem was you lost bad games.

[01:11:01] You lost three of them.

[01:11:03] Still never played in the SEC title game.

[01:11:05] Like you,

[01:11:07] I get it.

[01:11:09] You think you're a better team on paper because you play teams and the team

[01:11:15] that you played generally have more guys drafted to the NFL.

[01:11:19] I understand the entire premise,

[01:11:22] but that can't be extrapolated across all the nation and ignore the fact that

[01:11:27] everybody can play in SEC.

[01:11:30] So you gotta have some lines and the line was dark.

[01:11:33] You can't have three losses.

[01:11:34] Did you happen to catch the first quarter of this game?

[01:11:38] No,

[01:11:39] I've been just kind of running around.

[01:11:41] I had quite a few of the games,

[01:11:42] but not all.

[01:11:43] So,

[01:11:43] so in the first quarter,

[01:11:45] Jalen Milrow had an interception,

[01:11:48] two fumbles,

[01:11:52] you know,

[01:11:53] and you know,

[01:11:54] the thing about it though,

[01:11:56] there was no Will Johnson,

[01:11:58] you know,

[01:11:59] who I think is the best corner in college football.

[01:12:01] There was no Mason Graham.

[01:12:03] There was no Josiah Stewart,

[01:12:07] neither Michigan running back played,

[01:12:09] no Donovan Edwards,

[01:12:10] no Khalil Mullins.

[01:12:11] So you can't even use the excuse of,

[01:12:13] we didn't want to be there and all that stuff that the SEC normally says,

[01:12:17] Michigan just put your dick in the dirt.

[01:12:19] That's what they did,

[01:12:20] you know,

[01:12:21] and well,

[01:12:22] like they are one of the top recruiting schools in the big 10.

[01:12:27] I mean,

[01:12:27] now you got 30,

[01:12:29] 17th in the big 10,

[01:12:30] but Michigan is one of those teams,

[01:12:32] Ohio state.

[01:12:33] If there's 25 star recruits that commit to the big 10 every year,

[01:12:38] Ohio state's probably grabbing eight or nine Michigan's getting three or four.

[01:12:42] Then the rest of them kind of matriculate through the rest of the big 10 schools.

[01:12:45] That's just kind of how it is.

[01:12:47] I I'm one of those people.

[01:12:48] Like I said,

[01:12:49] I'm facts of a feelings of,

[01:12:50] you know,

[01:12:50] logical thinker.

[01:12:53] I understood the passion of the argument as a fan of the team,

[01:13:00] fan is short for fanatic.

[01:13:02] Like I understood that piece.

[01:13:05] The problem,

[01:13:06] my,

[01:13:06] the biggest issue I was having is when the pundits and the coaches were going on

[01:13:13] TV and going on Twitter,

[01:13:15] spewing this rhetoric.

[01:13:17] It's like,

[01:13:17] dog,

[01:13:18] you know,

[01:13:20] damn well,

[01:13:21] you would be furious.

[01:13:24] If nine and three Miami would,

[01:13:27] a couple of wins sprinkled in here and there said that they should get in

[01:13:31] over you at 11 and one Ole Miss,

[01:13:35] you would be furious that people be going on TV co-signed it.

[01:13:39] But meanwhile,

[01:13:40] like I said before,

[01:13:41] Indiana even lost the game.

[01:13:43] They would talk about how Georgia was better.

[01:13:45] And I'd have a two loss Georgia team in over an 11 when Indiana,

[01:13:50] it's like they hadn't even lost yet.

[01:13:51] So it was like,

[01:13:52] you would not allow that kind of conversation to be sprinkled across your,

[01:13:59] your,

[01:13:59] your teams.

[01:14:00] But yet when the results came out,

[01:14:04] these pundits,

[01:14:05] Paul Feinbaum,

[01:14:07] Lane Kiffin,

[01:14:08] Kirk Herbstreit,

[01:14:09] Kirk Herbstreit,

[01:14:10] like all these guys were just on TV.

[01:14:12] Kirby smart does it every year.

[01:14:14] Nick Saban was doing it.

[01:14:15] It's like,

[01:14:16] dog,

[01:14:17] you have to understand that you can't just get every,

[01:14:21] you can't get extra credit on every assignment.

[01:14:25] Just because you turn in late.

[01:14:27] It's like,

[01:14:28] it doesn't,

[01:14:29] it's like,

[01:14:29] no,

[01:14:29] it's really good.

[01:14:30] It's a good,

[01:14:30] I do good work all the time.

[01:14:32] I sit in the smart section of the classroom.

[01:14:35] Okay,

[01:14:35] cool.

[01:14:35] You still got to turn your shit in on time.

[01:14:38] SEC,

[01:14:38] you still got to win double digit games.

[01:14:40] You can't put you in over.

[01:14:42] I get it.

[01:14:43] Like you can't lose to the Wyoming.

[01:14:46] If Wyoming was 11 and oh,

[01:14:48] their competition.

[01:14:49] Yes.

[01:14:50] That gap from the SEC to Wyoming's competition.

[01:14:54] It's quite substantial.

[01:14:55] The gap between Ohio state and the ACC and SEC and their competition,

[01:15:01] the,

[01:15:01] the bulk of their conference is not that far apart.

[01:15:06] Your ACC teams four through whatever the number is,

[01:15:10] 18 is probably on par with your SEC schools,

[01:15:16] five through 15 or 16,

[01:15:19] whatever they got there.

[01:15:20] Now what all these different numbers.

[01:15:22] So like,

[01:15:23] so it was like,

[01:15:23] yo,

[01:15:24] you,

[01:15:24] you're not the gap at the top.

[01:15:28] Yeah,

[01:15:29] that's substantial.

[01:15:29] Like your top SEC schools are way better than your bottom ACC schools,

[01:15:34] but your bottom and middle rung ACC,

[01:15:37] SEC schools,

[01:15:38] they're on par.

[01:15:39] Hence,

[01:15:39] you can see what happened to most of them over this weekend.

[01:15:42] Yeah.

[01:15:42] And that's the thing,

[01:15:43] right?

[01:15:43] So like South Carolina showed their head coach showed more fight,

[01:15:47] trying to fight the opposing head coach.

[01:15:50] Then the team did,

[01:15:51] you know what I mean?

[01:15:52] That was a whole shit show that they began with,

[01:15:54] but it was,

[01:15:56] he was working them.

[01:15:57] He was,

[01:15:57] Oh,

[01:15:58] he was working them.

[01:15:59] Oh,

[01:15:59] I love it.

[01:16:00] I love,

[01:16:00] I love to see it.

[01:16:01] I love the game.

[01:16:02] I love to see it.

[01:16:03] And you know,

[01:16:04] what's funny about that?

[01:16:07] Illinois 10 and three lost to Oregon lost at Penn state lost to Minnesota.

[01:16:24] They wasn't in this conversation.

[01:16:26] And now,

[01:16:27] and he wasn't on Twitter.

[01:16:28] And that's why they wanted.

[01:16:30] And that's why they wanted to beat South Carolina.

[01:16:32] That's why he replied to Lane Kiffin one time,

[01:16:35] you know,

[01:16:36] but I've got one simple question for you,

[01:16:37] Mr.

[01:16:38] Lodge,

[01:16:38] because I'm done talking about losers.

[01:16:40] Now,

[01:16:41] the winner targeting or not.

[01:16:50] Okay.

[01:16:50] His head was up.

[01:16:52] It was a face mask,

[01:16:54] a face mask.

[01:16:55] He was looking at the guy.

[01:16:56] He was running in with his head up.

[01:16:58] Receiver was coming down.

[01:17:00] He's not defenseless.

[01:17:01] You catch the ball on two feet in the middle of football field in the middle of play.

[01:17:07] Nothing about that said you're defenseless.

[01:17:09] I'm sick of the verbiage.

[01:17:10] Does it make any sense?

[01:17:11] It's not fair to defense.

[01:17:13] You catch the ball.

[01:17:14] My job is to tackle you.

[01:17:16] He's defenseless.

[01:17:18] If he's on the ground.

[01:17:20] And I jump on his back.

[01:17:23] If he's standing up with the ball,

[01:17:24] I have no idea what he's going to do because he didn't see me coming.

[01:17:28] He's defenseless.

[01:17:29] He's not supposed to see me coming.

[01:17:30] If I'm playing good enough defense,

[01:17:32] he doesn't see me coming.

[01:17:33] Then maybe I can knock the ball out of his hand.

[01:17:35] That's the whole point of me disguising where I'm doing in my coverage so that

[01:17:41] wide receiver doesn't know the safety standing right there.

[01:17:44] So let me slide three yards this way,

[01:17:47] catch this pass and turn up here.

[01:17:49] He turned into the safety.

[01:17:51] His face was up.

[01:17:52] His head was up.

[01:17:53] His arms are out.

[01:17:55] That's a proper tactic technique that people teach all the time.

[01:17:58] Yeah.

[01:17:59] If anything,

[01:17:59] the interception that Arizona state had a few possessions earlier was targeting.

[01:18:04] I don't think that was either.

[01:18:06] I wouldn't have called it,

[01:18:07] but that one was probably more egregious than the one in the question.

[01:18:11] Now,

[01:18:11] Arizona state,

[01:18:12] this goes back.

[01:18:13] Cause we talked about this a couple of months ago,

[01:18:14] Ken Dillingham,

[01:18:15] shout out to him year two.

[01:18:17] He's a sun devil,

[01:18:18] you know,

[01:18:19] by nature,

[01:18:19] alma mater and all of that.

[01:18:21] He got,

[01:18:22] he got in trouble,

[01:18:23] yelled at or whatever.

[01:18:24] Like the media was on him because he got on TV and said,

[01:18:28] I'm holding tryouts for kickers.

[01:18:32] And now after watching this game against Texas,

[01:18:35] we see why,

[01:18:36] you know,

[01:18:37] because if they had anything that resembled a kicker,

[01:18:39] they would have pulled that upset.

[01:18:41] You know what I'm saying?

[01:18:42] There was a couple of fourth downs.

[01:18:43] And I thought about you because you're always the,

[01:18:46] Hey,

[01:18:46] when you're playing the better team,

[01:18:47] get the points.

[01:18:49] Why are you always trying to go forward on fourth down?

[01:18:51] They went two for five,

[01:18:52] you know,

[01:18:53] but my guy,

[01:18:53] Cam scatterbow showed that he was more Willie Beeman than Donovan.

[01:18:57] That because he went over there and threw up and he came out and bust

[01:19:01] Texas ass in the fourth quarter.

[01:19:03] He even threw a touchdown pass.

[01:19:05] So,

[01:19:06] you know,

[01:19:06] and that was the MVP in the loss.

[01:19:08] Yeah.

[01:19:08] And that's what goes,

[01:19:09] that goes to show you.

[01:19:10] That's why we played the games because,

[01:19:12] because Texas was a 13 and a half to 14 point favorite.

[01:19:17] Most of the shows that I listened to had Texas winning by three touchdowns.

[01:19:25] You know,

[01:19:26] I said they were going to cover,

[01:19:29] you know,

[01:19:30] so 17,

[01:19:30] something like that.

[01:19:31] Yeah.

[01:19:32] So,

[01:19:32] so like Arizona state didn't surprise me.

[01:19:34] The one thing that did surprise me.

[01:19:36] And I brought up how Arizona state had the best rushing defense in the big 12.

[01:19:41] I still didn't think they were going to hold Texas to 53 yards rushing.

[01:19:45] So if they could have just got their hands on Matthew golden,

[01:19:49] I mean,

[01:19:49] seven catches one 49 and a touchdown in that punt return,

[01:19:53] you know,

[01:19:53] that Silas had Silas golden had not a body near him.

[01:19:58] You win that game.

[01:19:59] Fourth and 13.

[01:20:01] You know,

[01:20:01] you go cover zero.

[01:20:03] No,

[01:20:03] they,

[01:20:04] yo,

[01:20:05] they,

[01:20:05] he said,

[01:20:05] he said they were supposed to,

[01:20:06] it was supposed to be a cover zero.

[01:20:08] Look,

[01:20:08] that was supposed to go into cover four.

[01:20:11] Yes.

[01:20:11] And what happened was the,

[01:20:15] the DB.

[01:20:18] So the guy ran up the scene,

[01:20:20] he gave one little,

[01:20:23] a little hitch and they both bit on it.

[01:20:26] If you watch the replay,

[01:20:28] they both bit on it.

[01:20:29] And I was like,

[01:20:32] why'd you do anything extra creative?

[01:20:36] Why on earth would you run cover four?

[01:20:38] Because that's where you get beat.

[01:20:39] Just right at the scene.

[01:20:41] And it was like,

[01:20:42] it was still 13.

[01:20:43] It was four to 13.

[01:20:43] 13 better playing cover three.

[01:20:47] You better play cover three.

[01:20:48] You know,

[01:20:49] you know where the sticks are.

[01:20:50] Don't play the sticks.

[01:20:52] Play,

[01:20:52] stay in your base defense.

[01:20:54] Like,

[01:20:54] yeah,

[01:20:55] you can get a look.

[01:20:56] The problem was given that look,

[01:20:58] we talked about with Brian Flores,

[01:21:00] you get everybody up at the line of scrimmage.

[01:21:02] And then right before the snap,

[01:21:03] everyone bails out.

[01:21:05] But if you don't bail out in time,

[01:21:07] now you panic.

[01:21:08] So he was,

[01:21:10] the DB was like no man's land.

[01:21:12] Do him with a little hitch.

[01:21:13] He bit on it.

[01:21:15] The safety bit on it.

[01:21:16] And he ran right through.

[01:21:17] And I was like,

[01:21:18] yeah,

[01:21:19] they would be playing next week.

[01:21:21] If they,

[01:21:22] if they just played sound defense.

[01:21:24] And did you see Julio Jones killing Oregon out there?

[01:21:33] Like,

[01:21:33] they did the same thing.

[01:21:36] Like on his touchdown,

[01:21:37] that one in the first half,

[01:21:39] when he ran a deep over route,

[01:21:42] well,

[01:21:42] Howard just threw it up there.

[01:21:44] He had to wait on it.

[01:21:46] He still had 10 yards.

[01:21:48] I'm still not sold on Will Howard.

[01:21:50] On the top defender and underneath defender.

[01:21:54] I mean,

[01:21:55] you don't need,

[01:21:56] but Hey,

[01:21:57] but,

[01:21:57] but remember,

[01:21:58] 10th grade,

[01:21:58] he could have made that throw.

[01:21:59] Remember,

[01:22:00] we talked about this.

[01:22:01] Remember,

[01:22:01] we talked about this.

[01:22:02] We,

[01:22:02] I said,

[01:22:04] when they played the first time,

[01:22:07] I picked Oregon to win.

[01:22:09] But when I watched the game,

[01:22:12] Ohio state was the better team.

[01:22:15] You know,

[01:22:15] it was just that Oregon was the one that made the,

[01:22:18] they executed late.

[01:22:19] That was the difference in the game,

[01:22:20] but Ohio state dominated them everywhere,

[01:22:25] but the scoreboard.

[01:22:27] So watching this game,

[01:22:28] I was shocked by the score.

[01:22:30] I was shocked by the score,

[01:22:33] but I wasn't shocked at what I saw.

[01:22:35] You know,

[01:22:36] I think Ohio state,

[01:22:37] I picked them to win the national title at the beginning of the season.

[01:22:40] I think Ohio state is going to win the national title,

[01:22:43] which is kind of ironic because they lost to Michigan,

[01:22:45] but I had a thought today,

[01:22:47] Mr.

[01:22:47] Logical,

[01:22:48] you know what I thought about how poetic would it be for Penn state and

[01:22:54] Ohio state to play for the national title,

[01:22:57] the two big 10 schools,

[01:22:58] instead of two sec schools,

[01:23:00] James Franklin and all the talk all week about how he can't beat Ohio state.

[01:23:07] Listen,

[01:23:07] could you imagine Ryan day losing that game?

[01:23:10] Like if,

[01:23:11] if Penn state beat Ohio state in the national title game,

[01:23:15] listen,

[01:23:16] we're going to have a black head coach coaching in the college football

[01:23:19] championship game.

[01:23:21] Oh,

[01:23:21] you know,

[01:23:21] the other time ever.

[01:23:23] And it's both poetic.

[01:23:24] Cause on top of that,

[01:23:26] if Notre Dame plays Ohio state for the national title,

[01:23:31] Notre Dame's head coach played for Ohio state.

[01:23:34] So it's poetic.

[01:23:35] Either way,

[01:23:36] it's poetic either way,

[01:23:38] but you know what?

[01:23:40] Texas might try to spoil it.

[01:23:42] No,

[01:23:42] it ain't spoil the shit,

[01:23:43] but anyway,

[01:23:44] they spoil the shit.

[01:23:45] That's what,

[01:23:46] that's the thing.

[01:23:47] We,

[01:23:47] we,

[01:23:47] we have these ebbs and flows in college football.

[01:23:50] We're just like,

[01:23:50] Oh,

[01:23:51] we're writing Texas.

[01:23:52] you heard what Drake told Kendrick?

[01:23:54] Nah,

[01:23:55] nah,

[01:23:55] nah.

[01:23:55] You following through now.

[01:23:58] Nevermind.

[01:23:58] We know what happened there.

[01:23:59] Um,

[01:24:00] so,

[01:24:01] so,

[01:24:01] um,

[01:24:01] there's no reason for Ohio state to lose considering like what they just put on film.

[01:24:06] Like,

[01:24:06] yo,

[01:24:06] just,

[01:24:08] you know,

[01:24:09] you could do those same things.

[01:24:11] You can do those same things against any team you play,

[01:24:13] just because the weapons that they have put so much stress on your,

[01:24:17] the only opposing defense that,

[01:24:21] and they got the one game going trade.

[01:24:24] Was it Travion?

[01:24:25] Travion Henderson.

[01:24:26] Yeah.

[01:24:26] Travion Henderson.

[01:24:28] I'd never seen a guy move that like the,

[01:24:30] the,

[01:24:31] the,

[01:24:31] the low camera angle of him just by himself down the sideline.

[01:24:35] I'm like,

[01:24:35] is this fast forwarded?

[01:24:37] You know,

[01:24:37] what's crazy.

[01:24:38] He ain't even the one that they paid the money for in the transfer portal.

[01:24:41] That's the crazy part about it.

[01:24:43] Yo,

[01:24:43] he was,

[01:24:44] he was so fast when they went at the touchdown.

[01:24:46] I got put them up 31 zero.

[01:24:48] I was like,

[01:24:49] I was looking at it.

[01:24:50] Like,

[01:24:51] I cannot believe this is happening because I get it.

[01:24:55] But in college football,

[01:24:56] we,

[01:24:56] you know,

[01:24:56] we talked about it cause I was playing the game.

[01:24:58] I was hating.

[01:24:58] I hated the video game.

[01:24:59] Cause it's like,

[01:25:00] how is it that these guys are this wide open?

[01:25:02] Do you watch the actual college football game?

[01:25:04] It's like,

[01:25:04] Oh,

[01:25:05] one guy makes a mistake and literally both guys fall for the hitch.

[01:25:10] Both guys fall.

[01:25:12] Both guys jumped the hitch.

[01:25:13] The safety couldn't even have done anything about the hitch.

[01:25:16] It was like,

[01:25:17] you,

[01:25:17] you just need to stay where you were.

[01:25:20] Right.

[01:25:20] You'd have been fine.

[01:25:21] Well,

[01:25:22] so,

[01:25:22] so this game was simple for me,

[01:25:24] you know,

[01:25:24] to include the sacks,

[01:25:26] to include the sacks,

[01:25:28] Ohio state held Oregon,

[01:25:30] the 28 brushes for negative 23 yards.

[01:25:34] You know?

[01:25:35] So if you take out the sack,

[01:25:37] do you,

[01:25:37] you know,

[01:25:38] do they,

[01:25:39] do they,

[01:25:39] college does college does.

[01:25:40] Yeah.

[01:25:40] They,

[01:25:41] I thought that was only on the quarter.

[01:25:43] They included,

[01:25:44] they included into the team stats.

[01:25:46] Team stats.

[01:25:46] Okay.

[01:25:47] So,

[01:25:48] but if you take the sack away,

[01:25:50] if you take the sacks away,

[01:25:51] they still held Oregon to 16 rushes for 20 yards.

[01:25:54] So Oregon just never got started,

[01:25:57] but in true Dan Lanning fashion,

[01:26:00] he did.

[01:26:01] He did leave us with a quotable,

[01:26:02] you know,

[01:26:03] it wasn't our day,

[01:26:04] just like it wasn't their day.

[01:26:06] Their day against Michigan.

[01:26:07] You know,

[01:26:07] which was just an,

[01:26:10] it was an odd thing to say.

[01:26:12] It wasn't even like cool.

[01:26:13] I mean,

[01:26:14] it just was like,

[01:26:15] you sound goofy.

[01:26:17] Yeah.

[01:26:17] If I didn't know any better,

[01:26:18] I would think Dan Lanning was playing for clicks.

[01:26:21] You know,

[01:26:21] this is,

[01:26:21] Oh,

[01:26:22] can't have that.

[01:26:23] This is what I think it was though.

[01:26:25] This is what I think.

[01:26:27] I don't think he liked the fact that he had to play Ohio state in the second

[01:26:30] round.

[01:26:31] I think the lack of a re,

[01:26:32] I think the lack of a reseed really bothered him.

[01:26:36] And I think,

[01:26:37] I think when it was happening,

[01:26:39] you know,

[01:26:39] sometimes like,

[01:26:41] like you're a fan of sporting,

[01:26:42] you know,

[01:26:42] you,

[01:26:43] you're watching something,

[01:26:44] you,

[01:26:44] you watch your kids play a sport and you,

[01:26:46] and you can see in the third quarter,

[01:26:50] basketball game,

[01:26:51] football game.

[01:26:51] Like,

[01:26:52] you know what?

[01:26:53] This team is beating.

[01:26:56] It's like my,

[01:26:57] my kids lose it.

[01:26:58] Like my kid's team is going to lose.

[01:27:00] You come to that realization.

[01:27:02] He started thinking like,

[01:27:03] should this team be in the district with my kid's team?

[01:27:08] So my kid be in this league with this team,

[01:27:11] this team sees a little bit more stack.

[01:27:12] And I think he kind of realized it was like,

[01:27:16] we should not have been a predicament to where we got,

[01:27:19] what,

[01:27:20] they probably had like 20 days off.

[01:27:22] Give or take something like that.

[01:27:24] Yeah.

[01:27:24] Somewhere in that,

[01:27:25] in that space,

[01:27:26] but then have to come back and play.

[01:27:30] It's arguably like one of the best teams in the country.

[01:27:33] Think about it.

[01:27:34] Think about it though.

[01:27:34] It's not just the Oregon thing.

[01:27:37] All four teams that had a buy lost.

[01:27:41] Yeah,

[01:27:41] but all four of them lost,

[01:27:43] but yeah,

[01:27:44] I'll give you this.

[01:27:47] The automatic seating,

[01:27:48] I believe they're definitely going to change.

[01:27:50] Oh,

[01:27:50] definitely.

[01:27:51] I don't know.

[01:27:51] I think,

[01:27:52] I don't,

[01:27:52] I think they'll just go one through 12 top four,

[01:27:55] which makes the most sense.

[01:27:56] I think they'll get,

[01:27:57] I think they'll go automatic.

[01:27:59] Big gets conference winners.

[01:28:01] Get in.

[01:28:03] So for instance,

[01:28:05] I thought Boise would have been the 12,

[01:28:07] no matter what.

[01:28:09] I think that was the intention when they set this up.

[01:28:12] When they wrote,

[01:28:12] when they wrote the,

[01:28:13] they wrote it out,

[01:28:14] you know,

[01:28:14] when they wrote out the rules,

[01:28:15] but like,

[01:28:16] that's what happens when you write out a plan.

[01:28:17] Like you,

[01:28:18] when you write out a travel plan and it's like,

[01:28:21] Hey,

[01:28:21] I'm driving from New Jersey and I'm gonna stop in Pittsburgh.

[01:28:24] It should take us about six hours.

[01:28:27] Well,

[01:28:28] along the way,

[01:28:29] attract the trailer blows a tire.

[01:28:31] Now you got two extra hours.

[01:28:33] You can't be upset.

[01:28:34] Like,

[01:28:34] Oh,

[01:28:35] we didn't see this happening.

[01:28:37] It's part of it.

[01:28:38] You got to make the adjustments.

[01:28:39] As long as they don't run it back the same way next year,

[01:28:42] as long as they make the change to where,

[01:28:45] cause they're going to,

[01:28:46] I think I saw something that they're going to give 29% of the share of

[01:28:52] the money earned or revenue to the big tenant sec in a couple of years.

[01:28:55] Yeah.

[01:28:56] I don't know if it's negotiating.

[01:28:57] Cause because the deal for the 12 team playoff runs out after next season.

[01:29:03] So the year after is when they can change or,

[01:29:06] you know,

[01:29:07] they can change the format and they're talking about 14,

[01:29:11] potentially 16.

[01:29:12] They're talking about potentially given the sec and big 10 for automatic

[01:29:18] slots.

[01:29:19] I don't,

[01:29:20] I don't like that at all because you could have ended up.

[01:29:23] And when the big 10 and sec win the national title,

[01:29:27] people in America fans are going to be saying the ACC sucks and the big 12

[01:29:32] sucks.

[01:29:33] And it's like,

[01:29:33] well,

[01:29:34] yeah,

[01:29:35] like they got,

[01:29:37] they got the four slots and they're getting the money.

[01:29:41] Yeah.

[01:29:42] So,

[01:29:42] uh,

[01:29:43] like I said,

[01:29:44] as long as they,

[01:29:44] they fix the format,

[01:29:46] I like the reseed.

[01:29:47] Um,

[01:29:49] like the,

[01:29:49] the,

[01:29:50] this before the 12,

[01:29:51] just say,

[01:29:52] all right,

[01:29:53] these are our 12 teams that are getting in.

[01:29:55] We ranked them one through 12.

[01:29:58] Uh,

[01:29:59] but yeah,

[01:29:59] I don't think he was happy about that,

[01:30:00] but honestly,

[01:30:02] no matter what,

[01:30:02] you got to have your team ready to play.

[01:30:03] When you get pounced on that early 31 to zero,

[01:30:07] it shows that,

[01:30:09] you know,

[01:30:09] you weren't ready for a few aspects.

[01:30:11] Maybe you thought,

[01:30:13] maybe you were thinking the Michigan game was going to be the carryover and

[01:30:17] thinking that maybe Tennessee was an easy enough game to wear.

[01:30:20] Like,

[01:30:20] cause I thought Tennessee was such an easy game that Ohio state wasn't going

[01:30:24] to get their intensity back.

[01:30:26] I don't know.

[01:30:26] Maybe some information.

[01:30:27] I mean,

[01:30:28] maybe it might just be the fact that you lost to that team earlier this

[01:30:31] year,

[01:30:32] you know,

[01:30:33] and then Mr.

[01:30:34] Lodgico,

[01:30:34] I got sad because that man felt he fell 28 yards short.

[01:30:43] Gente,

[01:30:43] 28 yards short,

[01:30:46] you know,

[01:30:47] Penn state dominated that game,

[01:30:49] but Boise state,

[01:30:51] and this is the problem,

[01:30:52] just like SMU.

[01:30:53] And it's hard because a lot of people just look at the scoreboard,

[01:30:57] you know,

[01:30:58] and they go,

[01:30:58] Oh,

[01:30:59] boys,

[01:30:59] it got dominated.

[01:31:00] It was just like the SMU game.

[01:31:02] Boise shot themselves more than Penn state did anything to them.

[01:31:06] Yeah.

[01:31:06] They put the ball on the ground a couple of times.

[01:31:08] Penn state came out,

[01:31:10] jumped out 14 to nothing.

[01:31:12] And then Boise locked them down for about two and a half quarters before the

[01:31:16] Springs just leaked in Boise.

[01:31:19] Couldn't score.

[01:31:19] So therefore that,

[01:31:20] you know,

[01:31:21] but going forward,

[01:31:23] Abdul Carter got injured in that game.

[01:31:25] So we'll see if he can play against Notre Dame and they got their first

[01:31:29] game,

[01:31:29] which is Thursday.

[01:31:30] So,

[01:31:31] you know,

[01:31:32] of course I got to say it one more time.

[01:31:34] I say it every time,

[01:31:35] you know,

[01:31:36] Cowboys and 49ers,

[01:31:38] or I'm sorry,

[01:31:38] the other way around 49ers and Cowboys,

[01:31:40] 1994,

[01:31:41] 1995,

[01:31:42] Penn state and Notre Dame,

[01:31:44] 1987 and 1988.

[01:31:46] You know,

[01:31:46] who's going to end the drought.

[01:31:48] One of them's going to,

[01:31:49] one of them's going to get through the national championship.

[01:31:51] So I'm excited for that.

[01:31:53] Yeah.

[01:31:53] So,

[01:31:53] you know,

[01:31:54] but then we had yesterday,

[01:31:56] you know,

[01:31:57] you know,

[01:31:58] rest in peace to all the victims down in new Orleans.

[01:32:00] And,

[01:32:00] you know,

[01:32:01] that whole tragic thing that went down,

[01:32:03] you know,

[01:32:04] and they ended up postponing.

[01:32:05] Very strange.

[01:32:06] Yeah.

[01:32:06] Very strange.

[01:32:07] A lot of information.

[01:32:08] Then the whole thing in Vegas happened too.

[01:32:10] Yeah.

[01:32:10] But someone said that cyber truck could have been bad.

[01:32:13] Like it could have been the battery.

[01:32:15] The only reason I find it odd is because they were both army dudes.

[01:32:19] So it was just kind of weird,

[01:32:20] you know,

[01:32:21] and the,

[01:32:22] but the bomb that,

[01:32:23] I think the other guy was a Trump guy.

[01:32:25] So I don't think that was a bomb.

[01:32:26] And yeah,

[01:32:27] it's just a weird.

[01:32:28] Yeah.

[01:32:28] And then we had the whole shit in New York after anyway.

[01:32:31] Yeah.

[01:32:31] So my house chilling.

[01:32:34] Yeah.

[01:32:34] So Georgia came out there with Gunnar Stockton,

[01:32:37] who didn't look half bad,

[01:32:38] but the same thing that has flawed Georgia all season flawed Georgia again.

[01:32:44] They can't run the damn ball.

[01:32:46] You know,

[01:32:47] we talked about can't commit to running the ball.

[01:32:50] I don't care that you have Travis ETN's little brother.

[01:32:54] He ain't Travis,

[01:32:56] you know,

[01:32:56] saying like,

[01:32:57] so Notre Dame four sacks,

[01:32:59] nine tackles for losses,

[01:33:00] three forced fumbles.

[01:33:02] They won the game with Raleigh Leonard,

[01:33:04] only passing for 90 yards.

[01:33:06] You know,

[01:33:07] Georgia finished the season 102nd in rushing 83rd in yards per attempt.

[01:33:16] So I don't know what to do with that.

[01:33:18] You know what I mean?

[01:33:19] Like in,

[01:33:20] in this funny to me,

[01:33:21] it's funny to me because there were a lot of people that picked Georgia to win

[01:33:26] that game.

[01:33:27] And now that Notre Dame lost or won that game,

[01:33:31] but George didn't have their quarterback.

[01:33:33] You knew that when you picked Georgia to win,

[01:33:35] you knew that when you picked Georgia to be in the number two spot.

[01:33:41] Yes.

[01:33:42] He got a hurt in the game,

[01:33:43] but that you use to decide that they were going to be number two.

[01:33:48] Yup.

[01:33:49] And then my guy,

[01:33:50] unfortunately,

[01:33:50] my God,

[01:33:51] Jeremiah love,

[01:33:52] you know,

[01:33:53] um,

[01:33:54] he got hurt,

[01:33:55] you know,

[01:33:56] he got the brace on his knee.

[01:33:57] He's been bothering.

[01:33:58] The knees been bothering them all year,

[01:33:59] but I think something got re aggravated,

[01:34:02] but as is you got Notre Dame on Thursday,

[01:34:06] seven 30 Eastern as a one and a half point favorite against the Nittany lions.

[01:34:12] And then Friday night at seven 30 Eastern,

[01:34:14] you got Ohio state and Texas playing up in jury world.

[01:34:18] Talk about a home game,

[01:34:20] right?

[01:34:22] You know,

[01:34:22] at least Notre Dame and Penn state is in Miami.

[01:34:24] You know,

[01:34:26] Texas is getting a home game here,

[01:34:28] but Ohio state is favored by six.

[01:34:31] So,

[01:34:32] you know,

[01:34:33] that that's what,

[01:34:34] those are your lines for the semifinals,

[01:34:35] you know,

[01:34:37] and then you go from there.

[01:34:38] But then as we were looking around,

[01:34:41] some news came out,

[01:34:42] you know,

[01:34:43] Jimmy Butler with his green hair,

[01:34:44] you know,

[01:34:45] was talking a whole lot of mess last night.

[01:34:48] And the Miami heat said,

[01:34:50] well,

[01:34:50] you know what,

[01:34:50] Jimmy,

[01:34:52] why don't you just hit the showers and take away the rest of the

[01:34:54] week off,

[01:34:56] you know?

[01:34:56] So I know you probably don't like the suspension,

[01:34:59] you know,

[01:35:00] absolutely.

[01:35:01] Don't like this.

[01:35:01] Oh,

[01:35:02] I absolutely love the suspension.

[01:35:04] Not because of Jimmy Butler though.

[01:35:06] It's not a Jimmy Butler thing.

[01:35:08] I think that I,

[01:35:12] I try to be as pro player as I can,

[01:35:15] but the NBA is just the wild,

[01:35:18] wild West.

[01:35:19] As far as these players do what the fuck they want with no

[01:35:25] consequences.

[01:35:25] They get whatever they want for the most part.

[01:35:29] You know what I mean?

[01:35:30] They get to get their max contract.

[01:35:32] And then halfway through the next year or something,

[01:35:35] say,

[01:35:36] Hey,

[01:35:37] you know what?

[01:35:37] You gave me 250,

[01:35:38] but I don't even want to be here no more.

[01:35:40] Yeah.

[01:35:41] You know,

[01:35:41] that part,

[01:35:42] you know what I'm saying?

[01:35:43] So with Jimmy Butler in particular,

[01:35:45] you have teams like golden state that have let that jackass ruin their team

[01:35:51] for the last couple of years after they've won their championships because

[01:35:55] they've won those championships with no real penalties for the things that he

[01:36:01] does.

[01:36:02] So it's about time that a team took a stand and said,

[01:36:05] you know what?

[01:36:06] Yes.

[01:36:07] This is a player's league.

[01:36:08] Yes.

[01:36:09] The players have power.

[01:36:10] Yes.

[01:36:10] The players can do what they want,

[01:36:12] but some of us are still going to try to hold these guys accountable as best we can.

[01:36:16] Now,

[01:36:17] granted there's probably going to be an appeal process.

[01:36:19] I'm sure.

[01:36:20] Yes.

[01:36:20] Seven games,

[01:36:21] seven games.

[01:36:21] That's a lot.

[01:36:22] I was thinking three.

[01:36:25] I didn't want him.

[01:36:26] Let me back up.

[01:36:27] I didn't want him to be suspended.

[01:36:29] When I heard that he got suspended,

[01:36:32] I was like,

[01:36:33] okay,

[01:36:33] two or three games.

[01:36:34] When I saw seven,

[01:36:35] I was like,

[01:36:37] but I get the point that they're trying to be.

[01:36:39] The NBA PA is probably not much stronger than NFL PA,

[01:36:43] but maybe they'll have some kind of lobbying process.

[01:36:48] Adam Silver seems to be very pro player.

[01:36:53] I mean,

[01:36:54] it comes to a point where like,

[01:36:55] you know,

[01:36:55] relationships end.

[01:36:57] And I believe the teams relied so much on that leverage.

[01:37:01] It's like,

[01:37:03] regardless if the guy's a player and you paying him or whatever the case may be.

[01:37:06] But once you get to the point where it's recognized,

[01:37:08] like,

[01:37:08] yo,

[01:37:09] this guy doesn't want to be here.

[01:37:12] We can get somebody else in his place.

[01:37:14] It's going to help us when,

[01:37:15] because he's not going to help us win.

[01:37:17] It's like,

[01:37:18] would you keep a coach that was like,

[01:37:20] you know,

[01:37:20] I really don't feel like,

[01:37:21] you know,

[01:37:22] I don't have any joy in coaching.

[01:37:23] I'll show up to work.

[01:37:24] You wouldn't keep them.

[01:37:25] You wouldn't like suspend the air exposure.

[01:37:27] He was like,

[01:37:28] Hey,

[01:37:28] I don't have any more joy.

[01:37:30] You would be like,

[01:37:31] you know what?

[01:37:31] This is not going to end well for us.

[01:37:34] No,

[01:37:34] he's not going to sit around.

[01:37:38] You would,

[01:37:39] you would,

[01:37:40] you would let him go to where,

[01:37:42] wherever it needs to be,

[01:37:43] where we feel it needs to go.

[01:37:44] Players,

[01:37:45] because of contracts,

[01:37:46] you're going to pay him.

[01:37:47] You can use it to get assets.

[01:37:50] So,

[01:37:50] so this is,

[01:37:51] so this is my,

[01:37:52] he's getting paid a lot of money and I get it.

[01:37:54] His happiness should be kind of encapsulated in this.

[01:37:56] There you go right there.

[01:37:57] That's the money he's getting right there.

[01:38:00] You know,

[01:38:01] he's a free agent after the 2025.

[01:38:03] So even suspending him to seven games is going to cost him 3 million.

[01:38:07] It's like,

[01:38:08] what are you really doing?

[01:38:09] What are you doing?

[01:38:10] What are you really doing to hurt his pockets?

[01:38:12] So,

[01:38:12] so this is my thing.

[01:38:13] It's just,

[01:38:13] it's just a power play where there's no need for a power play.

[01:38:17] You need,

[01:38:18] you need a resolution.

[01:38:19] So I think,

[01:38:20] I think both,

[01:38:21] I think both parties are wrong.

[01:38:23] You know what I mean?

[01:38:24] I think that Miami has given Miami has given Jimmy Butler,

[01:38:33] Mike Tomlin levels of support.

[01:38:36] You know what I mean?

[01:38:37] They have not improved that team.

[01:38:39] They have not made that team a contender,

[01:38:41] but Jimmy Butler is good enough and has the heart to make this team go.

[01:38:49] You know,

[01:38:49] we just saw two years ago,

[01:38:51] they were the eight seed,

[01:38:53] you know,

[01:38:54] and they got to the finals,

[01:38:55] you know,

[01:38:56] granted,

[01:38:57] they got whooped once they got to the finals,

[01:38:58] but bam out of bio is not a center.

[01:39:01] And that's why you went out and got Kalil where in the draft,

[01:39:04] but their big move was,

[01:39:06] Hey,

[01:39:07] let us go get Kyle.

[01:39:09] I mean,

[01:39:10] Terry Rose here.

[01:39:11] And last season,

[01:39:12] allegedly,

[01:39:14] allegedly Pat Riley was asleep during the trade deadline.

[01:39:18] When they had a Kyle Lowry trade on the table.

[01:39:22] Now I say allegedly,

[01:39:23] because the way it was quoted in the article was quote,

[01:39:27] he was unavailable due to rest unquote.

[01:39:32] So I'm just going to roll with,

[01:39:33] he was asleep.

[01:39:35] You know what I mean?

[01:39:36] And that's negligent within itself.

[01:39:38] Now,

[01:39:39] Jimmy Butler has been pretty much asking out this whole season so far.

[01:39:44] Pat Riley came out and said,

[01:39:46] we're not trading you,

[01:39:48] which is Pat Riley's right.

[01:39:49] You know what I mean?

[01:39:50] As the GM and all that stuff.

[01:39:53] Like,

[01:39:53] well,

[01:39:53] I don't know if he's the GM,

[01:39:54] but he's something team president,

[01:39:56] whatever he is.

[01:39:56] He present,

[01:39:57] president player person.

[01:39:58] I know there's Mickey Harrison.

[01:39:59] He might be the owner.

[01:40:01] But,

[01:40:01] yeah.

[01:40:02] So I think,

[01:40:02] I think the player moves go through Pat Riley.

[01:40:05] Right.

[01:40:06] So,

[01:40:06] but the point being is that you're under contract,

[01:40:09] as you can see on the screen,

[01:40:11] you know,

[01:40:11] for this season and next season.

[01:40:13] Now we could talk extension and all that kind of stuff.

[01:40:16] We could extend you and get trade you.

[01:40:18] We could extend you,

[01:40:19] then trade you,

[01:40:20] whatever we could do that.

[01:40:22] But I am committed to you,

[01:40:24] which players always say they want.

[01:40:26] Well,

[01:40:27] how come fans?

[01:40:28] Well,

[01:40:28] how come the team get to trade players?

[01:40:30] but when the player leaves,

[01:40:32] everybody gets met.

[01:40:32] Well,

[01:40:33] the team has dedicated and said,

[01:40:34] no,

[01:40:35] we want to keep you.

[01:40:37] And then you went out on TV,

[01:40:39] a team that has been to the finals twice in the last four years.

[01:40:43] He was a star on TV and said,

[01:40:45] and he was a missed jumper away from three finals.

[01:40:48] Right.

[01:40:49] You went on TV and you said,

[01:40:51] I lost my smile.

[01:40:54] I'm ready to go.

[01:40:55] You know what?

[01:40:57] You can lose your joy.

[01:40:58] No,

[01:40:58] you can,

[01:40:59] you can,

[01:41:00] you absolutely can.

[01:41:01] But,

[01:41:02] but this is where I get mad at the players.

[01:41:06] You could lose your joy without trying to fuck me on what I can get back for you.

[01:41:12] You can't lose your joy.

[01:41:12] That's the problem.

[01:41:13] They already did because Pat Riley has a,

[01:41:17] Pat Riley has a lot of power and he has a lot of respect in the league,

[01:41:21] but he did let LeBron James walk.

[01:41:26] He could have made some moves.

[01:41:28] LeBron James went to four more finals in a row after leaving Miami,

[01:41:33] then the little break.

[01:41:34] And then he went to the finals again and he's still playing.

[01:41:38] They could have made some,

[01:41:40] I know you don't want to make all the concessions for your players,

[01:41:43] but I think he feels like,

[01:41:44] you know what?

[01:41:45] I'm the man on these streets.

[01:41:47] You're going to do what I tell you to do.

[01:41:49] I coach,

[01:41:50] I told magic Johnson what to do.

[01:41:53] I'm not going to listen to you.

[01:41:55] Cool.

[01:41:56] Welcome to obscurity.

[01:41:58] If you're not,

[01:42:00] because this was going to happen with Jimmy Butler.

[01:42:05] Now you're treating him like he wasn't the reason you seen the,

[01:42:08] you seen the meme.

[01:42:10] Besides the stuff that I said,

[01:42:12] as far as the team moves,

[01:42:13] what did they do to him?

[01:42:15] They didn't make good moves.

[01:42:17] They didn't extend them.

[01:42:19] So you don't want guys,

[01:42:20] guys don't want to play on these dead end contracts.

[01:42:23] That's the whole point.

[01:42:24] Like coaches wouldn't want it.

[01:42:26] Coaches want extensions.

[01:42:27] People want security.

[01:42:28] How about you play basketball and show me that you're worthy of the extension?

[01:42:31] If you don't want me to be here,

[01:42:33] then let me go somewhere else.

[01:42:34] How about you show,

[01:42:34] how about you show me that you're worthy of the extension?

[01:42:38] Cause as you can see on the screen,

[01:42:39] we're talking about ages 35 and 36.

[01:42:43] I'm supposed to be.

[01:42:43] That's the NBA's fault for the way they write their contract.

[01:42:46] I know,

[01:42:46] but I'm supposed to give you an extension just because.

[01:42:49] When he was 34,

[01:42:50] they gave him 45 million at 36.

[01:42:53] I'll give him 52.

[01:42:54] This is how the NBA pays themselves to the corner.

[01:42:56] That's treating you bad?

[01:42:58] Well,

[01:42:59] now I'm talking about you can't move them.

[01:43:00] You can't move them in a trade.

[01:43:01] Cause that's probably the biggest thing is like,

[01:43:03] you gave them the little bit of money up front.

[01:43:06] You're giving the money on the back.

[01:43:08] And you know what?

[01:43:08] You know what?

[01:43:09] If they didn't give him the money.

[01:43:11] And if they didn't give him the money,

[01:43:12] you would be saying,

[01:43:14] look at what they did to Jimmy Butler.

[01:43:16] They already did it to LeBron.

[01:43:18] So the team can't win.

[01:43:21] If they didn't extend them or give them a contract,

[01:43:24] it was,

[01:43:24] Hey,

[01:43:25] Jimmy Butler took them to the finals and they didn't even take care of him.

[01:43:27] They haven't extended him yet.

[01:43:29] Even though he's going to be 36 years old,

[01:43:31] it's why y'all ain't extend his old ass.

[01:43:34] But they knew he was going to be 36 years old when they extended him the first time.

[01:43:38] They would decide.

[01:43:38] So why do I need to extend him right now?

[01:43:40] So what's the difference between giving me 30,

[01:43:43] 52 million at 36 versus giving me maybe,

[01:43:46] you know,

[01:43:47] 50 million at 37 and 50 million at 32.

[01:43:50] The difference,

[01:43:50] the difference,

[01:43:51] but the problem is,

[01:43:52] is that I told you like,

[01:43:55] like,

[01:43:55] okay,

[01:43:56] you made a request,

[01:43:57] you know,

[01:43:58] I want to be traded.

[01:43:59] I said,

[01:44:00] no,

[01:44:01] I don't want to trade you.

[01:44:03] So you said,

[01:44:04] Oh,

[01:44:05] well,

[01:44:06] I guess I'm just going to make myself a malcontent and go crazy and disrespectful and talk

[01:44:11] shit until you trade me.

[01:44:14] Him being honest in the press conference,

[01:44:17] like,

[01:44:17] Hey,

[01:44:17] I don't have my joy here.

[01:44:19] Maybe that should have been in the house was like,

[01:44:21] it's probably something he said in the house.

[01:44:22] He's allowed to say whatever he wants at the press conference.

[01:44:25] It wasn't,

[01:44:26] there's consequences for that.

[01:44:27] It's like,

[01:44:27] Hey,

[01:44:28] I lost my joy here.

[01:44:30] If you're also talking about the leader of the team,

[01:44:33] we're not talking about Terry Rozier or Nikola Jovich saying this,

[01:44:38] this is the heart and soul of your team.

[01:44:41] That's saying these things.

[01:44:42] So I agree that it is detrimental to me.

[01:44:44] I don't think he should be suspended though.

[01:44:46] If the coach went out there and say,

[01:44:48] I have a team of guys that don't play with any heart on a consistent basis.

[01:44:53] That's a simple statement,

[01:44:55] right?

[01:44:56] Should you,

[01:44:56] would you suspend the coach?

[01:44:58] If you said,

[01:44:58] Hey,

[01:44:58] I got a bunch of guys that don't play with heart.

[01:45:00] No,

[01:45:01] because the coach is in a position.

[01:45:03] So a guy on the team that goes to the podium was like,

[01:45:06] listen,

[01:45:07] I don't have,

[01:45:07] like,

[01:45:08] I don't have any joy here.

[01:45:09] That wasn't all he said though.

[01:45:11] That wasn't all he said.

[01:45:11] If he would have just said,

[01:45:13] I have no joy.

[01:45:14] Cool,

[01:45:14] bro.

[01:45:15] We've all been there.

[01:45:16] Can you get it back here?

[01:45:17] He was like,

[01:45:17] no,

[01:45:18] no,

[01:45:18] that ain't all he said.

[01:45:20] That's still ain't all he said.

[01:45:21] Do you get it back while you're here?

[01:45:22] He was like,

[01:45:23] no,

[01:45:23] no,

[01:45:23] that still ain't all he said.

[01:45:25] Pat Riley said,

[01:45:26] I'm not trading you.

[01:45:29] He said,

[01:45:31] I don't have joy.

[01:45:32] And we'll see what team I end up on in the next few weeks.

[01:45:37] That's what he said.

[01:45:38] You said going forward.

[01:45:40] Either way,

[01:45:41] either way.

[01:45:43] I have already made it known to you that I'm not trading you.

[01:45:46] Don't go on fucking TV talking about what team you going to play for.

[01:45:51] Cause I already told you.

[01:45:53] Yes,

[01:45:53] I do.

[01:45:54] Yes,

[01:45:55] I do.

[01:45:55] You own my contract.

[01:45:56] While you're under contract on this team,

[01:45:58] you shut the fuck up and do what I say.

[01:46:01] Kiss my ass.

[01:46:02] Kiss my whole type black ass.

[01:46:04] No,

[01:46:05] just okay.

[01:46:05] Tell him out.

[01:46:06] Tell him out.

[01:46:06] Let's back up for a second.

[01:46:07] I get it.

[01:46:08] I get that.

[01:46:08] It's hold up.

[01:46:09] Let's back up.

[01:46:09] Let's back up for a quick second.

[01:46:11] Let's back up for a quick second.

[01:46:12] It's like,

[01:46:12] if you go out there and I tell you,

[01:46:14] I'm not trading you.

[01:46:15] He has,

[01:46:16] but so what?

[01:46:18] I'm talking to Mike in the comments.

[01:46:20] That's what it is.

[01:46:21] Like,

[01:46:21] but no,

[01:46:21] hold on.

[01:46:22] Let's back up for a second.

[01:46:22] Let's back up for a second.

[01:46:24] So we saw,

[01:46:25] and I know these are two different things,

[01:46:27] but we're just having a conversation.

[01:46:29] So we saw a general get fired for criticizing the president.

[01:46:37] You know what I'm saying?

[01:46:38] Criticizing the,

[01:46:38] I know,

[01:46:39] I know.

[01:46:39] Just hold on.

[01:46:40] Just hold on.

[01:46:41] Just hold on.

[01:46:45] Just hold on a second.

[01:46:46] Just hold on a second.

[01:46:47] Just hold on a second.

[01:46:48] You know,

[01:46:48] I,

[01:46:48] you know,

[01:46:49] I'm not a pro authority guy.

[01:46:51] No,

[01:46:52] I'm just saying though,

[01:46:53] I'm not trying to be,

[01:46:55] I'm not trying to be pro authority.

[01:46:57] What,

[01:46:57] what I'm trying to be is we are in a,

[01:47:02] it's a relationship.

[01:47:04] You made a request.

[01:47:06] I said,

[01:47:07] no.

[01:47:08] Right.

[01:47:09] Okay.

[01:47:10] You can voice your displeasure with me and say,

[01:47:13] Pat,

[01:47:13] I want to go.

[01:47:14] Pat,

[01:47:15] why are you holding on to me?

[01:47:16] Pat,

[01:47:17] why are you doing this?

[01:47:18] You know what I'm saying?

[01:47:19] When,

[01:47:19] when you're out there just blatantly,

[01:47:22] as I already said,

[01:47:23] I'm not trading you.

[01:47:25] You're blatantly talking about the team that I end up on.

[01:47:29] Whatever the case may be.

[01:47:31] Like,

[01:47:32] I can find joy.

[01:47:33] You know what I'm saying?

[01:47:34] So now,

[01:47:35] so now,

[01:47:35] hold up.

[01:47:36] Wait,

[01:47:36] you don't do nothing about it.

[01:47:37] You don't do anything about it.

[01:47:39] So if you don't do anything about it or say any,

[01:47:42] I'm not saying he should have been suspended,

[01:47:43] but I'm just saying,

[01:47:44] if you,

[01:47:45] if you,

[01:47:45] if you didn't do all that two,

[01:47:49] three years from now,

[01:47:52] I'm going to be doing this same thing for,

[01:47:54] I'm going to be having the same conversation with Bam.

[01:47:56] Bam going to be doing the same thing in the media.

[01:47:59] You know what I'm saying?

[01:48:00] And so I'm trying to handle it now.

[01:48:03] Do your job better.

[01:48:05] Exactly.

[01:48:06] And I said that at the beginning of this conversation,

[01:48:08] they're doing Mike Tomlin levels of disrespect to Jimmy Butler.

[01:48:13] I'm out here.

[01:48:14] I got a few years left in the league.

[01:48:16] We know what happens to teams when they end up at the bottom in

[01:48:20] consecutive years.

[01:48:22] And what up,

[01:48:22] Mike?

[01:48:23] You got Tyler here,

[01:48:24] out here getting slammed.

[01:48:26] And then he run 15 feet from the fight and watch everybody else.

[01:48:30] And it's like,

[01:48:32] yo,

[01:48:33] what's the deal?

[01:48:34] Like he hopped up mad quick.

[01:48:35] And then did like a weird,

[01:48:37] the factory and theory and angle to get to the back.

[01:48:40] I'm like,

[01:48:41] yo,

[01:48:41] what are you doing here?

[01:48:42] It's like,

[01:48:42] so with Jimmy Butler,

[01:48:44] I get it.

[01:48:45] You made this,

[01:48:46] like what he said in the media,

[01:48:47] but he's allowed to say,

[01:48:49] I don't have my boy here.

[01:48:51] I was going to bring that up,

[01:48:52] Mike.

[01:48:53] You read my,

[01:48:53] Hey,

[01:48:54] he was like,

[01:48:55] he can say,

[01:48:56] I love it here.

[01:48:58] And they can't suspend him from having like,

[01:49:00] listen,

[01:49:01] you can't talk like that in the media.

[01:49:02] But if you say something,

[01:49:04] we don't like,

[01:49:04] we can just suspend you.

[01:49:06] He didn't say anything disparaging about Pat Riley.

[01:49:08] He didn't give away any secrets of the team.

[01:49:10] He didn't text some guy saying,

[01:49:12] Hey,

[01:49:12] we're going to be running 50 and motion office all game.

[01:49:16] And we're going to be doubling.

[01:49:17] He didn't give away any secrets.

[01:49:19] It's just Pat Riley in this,

[01:49:21] this mentality,

[01:49:22] the you listen to me because I'm the legend.

[01:49:26] You're the pauper.

[01:49:28] I'm the legend.

[01:49:29] I call the shots here.

[01:49:30] He did the same thing with LeBron.

[01:49:33] LeBron been in the league 12 years since then has been playing at a high

[01:49:38] level.

[01:49:38] LeBron was slightly different though.

[01:49:40] LeBron was slightly different though.

[01:49:42] But,

[01:49:42] but his,

[01:49:43] but Pat Riley's behavior,

[01:49:44] because LeBron was trying to basically control the team.

[01:49:47] And have his cake and do all these things.

[01:49:50] Like Jimmy Butler just wants to play basketball.

[01:49:52] I'm talking about at the end.

[01:49:53] That's what I'm talking about.

[01:49:54] He could have,

[01:49:55] he could have,

[01:49:56] he could have Pat Riley.

[01:49:58] LeBron wasn't staying.

[01:49:59] So you need to stop the cap to begin with.

[01:50:01] He wasn't staying.

[01:50:03] Maybe he wanted to get Kyrie down in Miami.

[01:50:05] No,

[01:50:06] he did not.

[01:50:06] His ass wanted to go ride the wave.

[01:50:09] he a dick riding.

[01:50:10] You know what?

[01:50:11] That loves the attention.

[01:50:14] That's what he is.

[01:50:15] You know,

[01:50:15] we don't do name calling.

[01:50:16] We're grown men here.

[01:50:17] No,

[01:50:17] I'm name calling.

[01:50:18] You know what I'm saying?

[01:50:19] No,

[01:50:19] no,

[01:50:20] I'm just saying,

[01:50:21] but all I'm saying is this,

[01:50:22] Pat Riley did the same thing.

[01:50:25] Pat Riley could have made real.

[01:50:28] He only got one contract out of LeBron in that group.

[01:50:33] I think he could have kept that group together.

[01:50:36] I don't.

[01:50:36] Or longer.

[01:50:37] I just feel like he didn't want to make any concessions.

[01:50:40] Maybe LeBron wanted too much.

[01:50:42] I'm not saying,

[01:50:42] I'm not saying he didn't.

[01:50:43] I'm not saying that the initial,

[01:50:45] the initial,

[01:50:46] what they say,

[01:50:47] writer,

[01:50:47] like when,

[01:50:48] like when a celebrity comes and they're like,

[01:50:49] Hey,

[01:50:50] I want all.

[01:50:51] You treating LeBron like this Drake conversation.

[01:50:53] We had earlier.

[01:50:55] Listen,

[01:50:56] well,

[01:50:56] you got to do no wrong.

[01:50:58] I didn't say he didn't do any wrong.

[01:51:00] I,

[01:51:00] I,

[01:51:00] I was wrong.

[01:51:02] I literally hold on time.

[01:51:03] First of all,

[01:51:04] I could have said he asked for,

[01:51:05] he could have asked for too much.

[01:51:06] That's what I was getting to.

[01:51:08] So you got onto your fields and sat back with your arm.

[01:51:11] I'm just telling the truth up in here.

[01:51:13] I can't help it that you lied.

[01:51:14] I get it.

[01:51:15] I get it.

[01:51:16] He could have asked for too much.

[01:51:17] He could have wanted too much.

[01:51:19] I am not denying that.

[01:51:20] But when you look at what I need for a,

[01:51:23] basketball team,

[01:51:25] sometimes you have to make concessions for certain players,

[01:51:28] certain players.

[01:51:29] Tom Brady probably could ask for more.

[01:51:31] Peyton Manning asked for a lot.

[01:51:33] Certain players get,

[01:51:34] get,

[01:51:35] you know,

[01:51:35] that Wayne was on his last legs.

[01:51:38] You know,

[01:51:39] like in Alabama,

[01:51:40] Alabama got more perks than Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss.

[01:51:44] It's not saying that old Lane Kiffin doesn't deserve what he got,

[01:51:48] but Nick Saban asking for,

[01:51:50] Hey,

[01:51:50] I want 15 different helmets for every one of my players.

[01:51:54] I know that's extreme,

[01:51:55] but if he can ask for that and you come back to Nick,

[01:51:58] say,

[01:51:58] Nick,

[01:51:58] I can't do 15.

[01:51:59] I can do five.

[01:52:01] He's like,

[01:52:01] I'm going to play.

[01:52:02] Wade was on his last legs.

[01:52:04] You know what I mean?

[01:52:05] People didn't really believe in Bosch anyway.

[01:52:08] And LeBron might have known.

[01:52:10] More likely.

[01:52:11] Yeah.

[01:52:11] More than likely.

[01:52:12] LeBron might have known about.

[01:52:13] Grass was greener back.

[01:52:15] Now,

[01:52:16] now the one thing that I don't remember is I don't necessarily remember how the

[01:52:20] Bosch thing played out,

[01:52:22] but I,

[01:52:23] but I do believe that Bron,

[01:52:25] Wade and Bosch were friends.

[01:52:27] His health.

[01:52:27] Right.

[01:52:27] Right.

[01:52:28] But what I'm saying though,

[01:52:29] is that I don't know if that was something that could have been there and

[01:52:32] something that they had talked about that LeBron.

[01:52:34] I would hope not.

[01:52:35] I would hope that I would hope that if my friend,

[01:52:38] someone I played four years with,

[01:52:40] and we recruited for a long time,

[01:52:42] if he was going through a blood disease,

[01:52:45] I wouldn't use that as leverage to like,

[01:52:49] get out of my,

[01:52:50] my,

[01:52:50] no,

[01:52:51] but no,

[01:52:51] no,

[01:52:51] no,

[01:52:51] you wouldn't do that.

[01:52:52] But adding that on to way falling apart because,

[01:52:57] you know,

[01:52:57] like those more likely he was out of there.

[01:52:59] I think that whole four years is probably a lot of,

[01:53:03] a lot of control that maybe,

[01:53:06] listen,

[01:53:06] I give it to you.

[01:53:07] The Lakers,

[01:53:08] whatever control they gave to LeBron early on,

[01:53:11] he,

[01:53:13] it,

[01:53:14] it might,

[01:53:14] the pendulum might've swung too far one direction.

[01:53:17] And then they try to swing back the other way after they got the

[01:53:20] championship and they got the popularity and the stadium was packed and so

[01:53:24] forth and so on.

[01:53:25] And now it seems like nothing that he kind of wants happens.

[01:53:29] I get it.

[01:53:30] And you can't always coward all your players,

[01:53:34] but the Lakers did it with Kobe.

[01:53:36] Then his career,

[01:53:37] they cut him to check.

[01:53:38] They're like,

[01:53:38] Hey,

[01:53:39] your swan song check.

[01:53:41] If you are trying to start over in Miami,

[01:53:44] then Jimmy Butler is probably your best piece.

[01:53:47] He's a great piece for a team like golden state,

[01:53:50] maybe even a team like OKC or team that's on the verge.

[01:53:55] I don't know what Phoenix has.

[01:53:57] I don't know if they can offer you,

[01:53:58] but it should be like,

[01:54:01] you know what?

[01:54:01] You've been here this long.

[01:54:03] We don't want the relationship to sour this way,

[01:54:05] but someone has to be for a quote unquote,

[01:54:10] the adult in the room.

[01:54:11] Someone has to be willing to be like,

[01:54:13] you know what?

[01:54:13] But in order to make a good business deal,

[01:54:16] you both got to give up something.

[01:54:18] I think Pat Riley does not want to give up anything.

[01:54:21] That's my issue with Pat Riley.

[01:54:23] Cause I think he looks at it like he has the resume,

[01:54:26] but his resume is off the backs of everybody else.

[01:54:30] He didn't do shit as a player.

[01:54:32] Everything he got is off the fact that he had the best players in his

[01:54:38] organization.

[01:54:39] And even then still needed the greatest of the greatest players who play

[01:54:44] the game to get him over the hump.

[01:54:46] So he's acting as if he's putting together this great team,

[01:54:50] the Olympics put together.

[01:54:51] You got the big three.

[01:54:53] But see,

[01:54:53] but that's the problem,

[01:54:54] right?

[01:54:55] That's the problem.

[01:54:56] And that's why Lakers.

[01:54:57] And then you didn't,

[01:54:58] you didn't,

[01:54:58] you didn't get much popping in New York.

[01:55:00] You didn't get a chip,

[01:55:01] but that's the problem.

[01:55:02] And that's why I made the Mike Tomlin parallel because you got the results,

[01:55:07] right?

[01:55:07] So like Mike Tomlin,

[01:55:09] no losing seasons.

[01:55:11] You make the playoffs.

[01:55:12] Granted,

[01:55:12] you don't always win a playoff game,

[01:55:14] but you make the playoffs.

[01:55:15] So with the heat,

[01:55:16] they were getting to the finals.

[01:55:18] So to some degree,

[01:55:20] you look at things and say,

[01:55:21] we're right there.

[01:55:23] You know what I mean?

[01:55:24] You don't like,

[01:55:25] I'm not going to overreact.

[01:55:27] I can't get the chemistry and the one guy that laid it on the line.

[01:55:32] There's one,

[01:55:33] like,

[01:55:33] that's what I'm,

[01:55:34] and that's what I mean.

[01:55:34] I think Pat Riley,

[01:55:35] and I get it.

[01:55:37] He's probably forgotten more about,

[01:55:41] forgotten more about basketball than I ever know.

[01:55:43] But I do know how you treat people.

[01:55:45] And I know how you got your results.

[01:55:47] You walked into a team with Magic Johnson and Kareem and these legends.

[01:55:52] And then you walked into a legendary team in the garden.

[01:55:56] And then you slid down to Miami.

[01:55:59] And yeah,

[01:56:00] Wade and Shaq fell in your lap and you got a chip out of it.

[01:56:03] But nothing else happened until you got Wade,

[01:56:08] Bosh,

[01:56:08] and LeBron having conversations in 08 about joining up in 10.

[01:56:13] So what did you do to make that happen?

[01:56:17] Well,

[01:56:17] you know,

[01:56:17] he tried to get Dame and,

[01:56:19] you know,

[01:56:19] that didn't work out.

[01:56:20] You know,

[01:56:21] obviously they didn't,

[01:56:22] nobody wanted Tyler Hero.

[01:56:23] They tried to find three team trades and nobody wanted them.

[01:56:27] whose fault is it that you have assets on your team that you can't trade to

[01:56:32] other teams?

[01:56:32] That's your fault.

[01:56:33] That's your fault.

[01:56:34] And Jimmy's like,

[01:56:35] yo,

[01:56:35] this is your fault now.

[01:56:36] And that's why I started this conversation that way.

[01:56:37] And,

[01:56:38] and,

[01:56:38] and,

[01:56:38] you know,

[01:56:39] so I'm acknowledging that,

[01:56:40] you know what I'm saying?

[01:56:41] But at the same time,

[01:56:42] you know,

[01:56:43] saying like Jimmy,

[01:56:45] there's a professional way of handling it.

[01:56:47] Yeah.

[01:56:47] He got frustrated and I get it.

[01:56:50] I've been frustrated before.

[01:56:51] I didn't always say the right thing.

[01:56:53] I didn't always do the right thing,

[01:56:54] you know,

[01:56:55] so I'm not banging on Jimmy per se.

[01:56:57] I'm just reacting to a situation,

[01:57:00] you know,

[01:57:00] so I,

[01:57:00] so I've been there before,

[01:57:01] you know,

[01:57:02] saying,

[01:57:02] man,

[01:57:02] I mean,

[01:57:03] me and my commander almost got into a fist fight one time.

[01:57:05] You know what I mean?

[01:57:06] So I know what it's like,

[01:57:07] but at the same time,

[01:57:09] but at the same time,

[01:57:10] he did deserve it.

[01:57:10] You know what I'm saying?

[01:57:11] He was being a bitch,

[01:57:12] but you know,

[01:57:13] but,

[01:57:13] but at the same time,

[01:57:15] you know,

[01:57:15] saying Jimmy Butler,

[01:57:18] it's,

[01:57:18] it's,

[01:57:19] he could have said everything that he said last night,

[01:57:22] you know,

[01:57:23] but it's also the way you said it,

[01:57:25] the time and place that you said it,

[01:57:27] we're 17 and 15.

[01:57:29] So are you just being a sore loser right now?

[01:57:31] First of all,

[01:57:33] you know what I'm saying?

[01:57:34] Second of all,

[01:57:35] you know what I mean?

[01:57:36] You're,

[01:57:36] you're only averaging 17 points,

[01:57:38] you know what I'm saying?

[01:57:39] Like,

[01:57:39] granted,

[01:57:40] good shooting percentage and everything,

[01:57:42] but you ain't out here averaging 24,

[01:57:44] 25.

[01:57:45] You know what I mean?

[01:57:46] Never really does that.

[01:57:48] He's always had like the other guys that did that.

[01:57:51] But you also,

[01:57:51] but the same way,

[01:57:52] there's one thing that you're missing.

[01:57:54] There's one thing that you are missing though.

[01:57:58] So I'll,

[01:57:58] so I will concede,

[01:58:00] you know,

[01:58:01] yes.

[01:58:02] And Pat Riley be fucking up and,

[01:58:06] you know,

[01:58:07] saying he,

[01:58:07] he pisses off people.

[01:58:08] He grinds people into the ground.

[01:58:11] You know,

[01:58:11] he's real.

[01:58:12] He's still in the 1980s in the rest of the world has evolved.

[01:58:16] So,

[01:58:17] okay.

[01:58:18] I'll give you that.

[01:58:20] But it ain't like Jimmy Butler got the best reputation for how he leaves

[01:58:24] teams either.

[01:58:26] Like we saw what he did in Minnesota.

[01:58:28] You know what I'm saying?

[01:58:29] We saw what he did in Chicago.

[01:58:31] And we saw what it looked like when he left.

[01:58:33] And we saw,

[01:58:34] and we saw what he did in Philly.

[01:58:36] He must see.

[01:58:37] Philly wasn't necessarily his fault though.

[01:58:40] Philly.

[01:58:40] They picked Tobias Harris over him.

[01:58:42] And that's what,

[01:58:43] that's what I'm saying.

[01:58:44] So I get this a lot in conversations because I've,

[01:58:48] I've,

[01:58:49] I've been told that I'm,

[01:58:50] I come off very abrasive.

[01:58:52] No,

[01:58:53] I like that shit.

[01:58:54] I know.

[01:58:54] Like,

[01:58:54] yeah,

[01:58:55] I'm good.

[01:58:55] I'm not,

[01:58:55] I'm never going to change.

[01:58:58] You know,

[01:58:59] I fight fire with fire.

[01:59:00] So I,

[01:59:01] it works for me.

[01:59:01] The thing that works,

[01:59:02] the thing that always works against the person who says it to me in conversation is like,

[01:59:06] listen,

[01:59:08] I get that.

[01:59:09] It comes off.

[01:59:10] I'm a big body.

[01:59:12] I'm loud.

[01:59:12] I talk with my hands,

[01:59:14] but was I right before the,

[01:59:18] the action was occurred?

[01:59:21] Yes.

[01:59:22] So I was right.

[01:59:23] So when I said,

[01:59:24] do not do this,

[01:59:25] or this is probably going to be the result.

[01:59:27] And then the result turns out that way.

[01:59:30] Don't come back to me and tell me my approach was wrong.

[01:59:33] Or if I analyze something and I get to the bottom of it by saying,

[01:59:37] okay,

[01:59:38] this,

[01:59:38] how did you get to this point?

[01:59:41] What information is using to get to this point?

[01:59:43] And it was like,

[01:59:43] okay,

[01:59:43] I'm like,

[01:59:43] okay,

[01:59:44] well,

[01:59:44] that information is not true,

[01:59:45] but,

[01:59:46] well,

[01:59:46] you don't let me get some up.

[01:59:48] That's not the point.

[01:59:49] If I'm telling you,

[01:59:51] and if I'm Jimmy Butler and I'm like,

[01:59:52] listen,

[01:59:53] these guys don't practice hard or this guy isn't a winner.

[01:59:58] And this guy,

[01:59:59] if you pick him over me,

[02:00:01] this is what your franchise is going to look like.

[02:00:03] If I've done that three times in the NBA and then go to another team,

[02:00:08] and I've gone to the finals two times,

[02:00:10] I feel like I've earned enough cash to be able to speak to you as a,

[02:00:16] as the GM owner player.

[02:00:18] Maybe,

[02:00:19] but it's not like he took him to the finals or something.

[02:00:22] He just knew.

[02:00:23] I mean,

[02:00:23] the Kawhi travel probably would have been a little different,

[02:00:26] but he knew like,

[02:00:28] listen,

[02:00:29] you keep me.

[02:00:30] Imagine that you had Jimmy Butler.

[02:00:33] Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid versus what you were getting out of Tobias Harris

[02:00:40] all those years.

[02:00:41] You didn't beat the Hulk.

[02:00:42] Tobias Harris was getting,

[02:00:45] people were looking at his check like,

[02:00:47] yo,

[02:00:47] he's getting $180 million.

[02:00:48] He got $180 million.

[02:00:53] So,

[02:00:55] Jimmy Butler getting the Miami.

[02:00:58] He is an eight seed to the finals.

[02:00:59] Well,

[02:01:00] they were five when he went in the bubble.

[02:01:02] They were in eight when they went against Denver in the year before that

[02:01:09] three pointer goes in.

[02:01:10] They beat Boston that year as well.

[02:01:14] So they would have been in the finals three out of four years.

[02:01:18] Granted,

[02:01:18] they probably wouldn't have won them because they're just planted.

[02:01:21] The teams from the West were just better,

[02:01:23] better,

[02:01:23] bigger built for the finals than Miami was.

[02:01:26] Miami,

[02:01:27] Boston probably should have been out of the East.

[02:01:29] Cause I think Boston was built a little bigger and they could have competed,

[02:01:33] but they couldn't,

[02:01:34] they couldn't beat Jimmy Butler's tenacity.

[02:01:38] That was a responsibility to the team.

[02:01:41] Now he's like,

[02:01:42] yo,

[02:01:42] the team isn't picking up on that.

[02:01:45] All right.

[02:01:46] So last thing before we get out of here,

[02:01:54] what teams do you think are players in this conversation?

[02:02:01] Say Denver.

[02:02:02] I think the Michael Porter Jr.

[02:02:04] Move.

[02:02:04] I don't know how the money matches up.

[02:02:06] I can just see them making the money matches real well.

[02:02:10] Let's see what Michael.

[02:02:11] It's going to be tough though,

[02:02:12] because you're going to end up with two,

[02:02:15] two glue aggressive guys that were older with Westbrook and Jimmy Butler.

[02:02:20] I don't know if you could play them side by side.

[02:02:22] I don't know.

[02:02:22] Porter's at Porter's at 35 this year.

[02:02:28] Jimmy's at 48.

[02:02:30] Yeah.

[02:02:30] So you throw a pick or two and,

[02:02:32] you know,

[02:02:33] like maybe throw another player,

[02:02:34] like one of the young dudes,

[02:02:36] or you get like Peyton Watson or something.

[02:02:38] Yeah.

[02:02:38] You get like Charlotte involved.

[02:02:40] Maybe they throw an expiring contract that somebody has going and you make the money match up.

[02:02:44] But it could happen.

[02:02:47] I just don't see,

[02:02:48] I just don't see Pat Riley really bending until somebody else comes in and say,

[02:02:53] listen,

[02:02:54] I think he just has to now.

[02:02:55] You can't keep suspending them.

[02:02:57] You can't keep suspending the guy because he's unhappy.

[02:02:59] Well,

[02:02:59] I think after last night you have to move them.

[02:03:01] Like there's no other.

[02:03:03] Just keep them on the bench.

[02:03:05] Keep them in the street.

[02:03:06] Who else you like besides Denver though?

[02:03:09] Is there anybody else that stands?

[02:03:10] I got a few teams I had in mind.

[02:03:13] I think,

[02:03:15] I think golden state probably could use it.

[02:03:18] It's teams on their last leg.

[02:03:20] They definitely want them.

[02:03:21] They definitely want them.

[02:03:23] And Miami wants Kaminga,

[02:03:25] you know,

[02:03:26] so that could be worth it,

[02:03:29] you know,

[02:03:29] cause I mean,

[02:03:30] it doesn't seem as though either Kaminga isn't consistent enough or Steve Kerr

[02:03:37] doesn't believe in Kaminga.

[02:03:39] Yeah.

[02:03:39] I don't,

[02:03:39] I don't think he likes the way he plays.

[02:03:41] I think he,

[02:03:42] I think Kaminga is supposed to take a 22 foot shot and he'll make two dribbles

[02:03:48] and try to get a contested 12 foot shot.

[02:03:51] And Steve is like,

[02:03:52] the play is for you to shoot this,

[02:03:55] but it's only,

[02:03:56] but the NBA,

[02:03:57] you can want whatever you want.

[02:03:59] It just,

[02:03:59] you got to make it match.

[02:04:01] He doesn't have any leverage.

[02:04:02] That's the problem.

[02:04:03] Like,

[02:04:03] that's what I was saying earlier.

[02:04:04] Jimmy,

[02:04:05] like to some degree,

[02:04:06] Jimmy took the leverage away,

[02:04:08] you know?

[02:04:09] So like,

[02:04:09] it could be one of those situations where you get like Michael Porter Jr.

[02:04:15] and four second round picks or something,

[02:04:17] you know what I mean?

[02:04:18] But so,

[02:04:19] so there's two teams that stand out to me,

[02:04:21] you know?

[02:04:22] I thought about this and the,

[02:04:26] so the first team that I thought about was Memphis,

[02:04:29] you know?

[02:04:30] And maybe you send Marcus Martin,

[02:04:33] something else,

[02:04:34] you know,

[02:04:35] because Jimmy Butler,

[02:04:37] I think for a young team like that,

[02:04:40] Marcus smart provides a certain leadership,

[02:04:43] but he's not Jimmy Butler play wise.

[02:04:47] So I think that that could potentially work.

[02:04:50] I think Phoenix could be a thing,

[02:04:53] you know?

[02:04:55] But the only problem is you would probably have to talk bill into the no

[02:04:58] trade or giving up the no trade.

[02:05:02] Yeah.

[02:05:02] And I don't know if he wants to go down to Miami and play.

[02:05:06] You know,

[02:05:07] could you,

[02:05:08] could you,

[02:05:08] could you maybe,

[02:05:10] and I just thought about this as we were talking just now,

[02:05:12] could you potentially call Dallas and say,

[02:05:16] give me PJ Washington and one of those big men.

[02:05:21] Dallas sitting at 20 and 15,

[02:05:23] Luke would be in out for a while.

[02:05:24] I don't know if Luca and Jimmy work.

[02:05:28] Jimmy kind of has like a thing with the star that he expects to do more.

[02:05:34] Um,

[02:05:35] I like that though,

[02:05:36] Mike,

[02:05:36] I like that.

[02:05:37] You know what I'm saying?

[02:05:37] I would take that if I was Miami,

[02:05:39] but I don't know.

[02:05:39] If I'm Memphis at Memphis at 23 and 11,

[02:05:42] I don't,

[02:05:42] I don't need,

[02:05:43] I don't know if I needed Jimmy Butler.

[02:05:45] You do.

[02:05:47] You know,

[02:05:48] but we've seen this story.

[02:05:49] I don't think a lot of moves.

[02:05:51] I don't think there's a lot of moves and it's not,

[02:05:54] it's not just,

[02:05:54] okay.

[02:05:55] How about this?

[02:05:55] I just don't think there's a lot of moves that put,

[02:05:57] I don't think there's a lot of moves that are like worth.

[02:06:02] Pushing your chips.

[02:06:04] This early.

[02:06:05] Cover your ears,

[02:06:05] Mike.

[02:06:06] I was thinking,

[02:06:08] and this was,

[02:06:09] this was something that I did.

[02:06:11] I didn't know if I was actually going to bring it up,

[02:06:12] but I'll go ahead and bring it up.

[02:06:14] Cover your ears,

[02:06:15] Mike.

[02:06:16] Uh,

[02:06:16] maybe you make a trade for somebody like a DeRozan.

[02:06:22] Okay.

[02:06:23] I don't know if you can move DeRozan.

[02:06:25] Not yet.

[02:06:26] I mean,

[02:06:26] there's like the whole rule where like you have to,

[02:06:28] like,

[02:06:28] I don't know if he has a January thing.

[02:06:31] I know that was the Andre thing.

[02:06:33] Cause maybe it was like the early,

[02:06:34] cause he had the,

[02:06:35] the,

[02:06:35] the year he got his extension.

[02:06:37] Yeah.

[02:06:37] Um,

[02:06:38] I don't think like,

[02:06:39] I wouldn't call Jimmy a cancer because he's a weirdo.

[02:06:43] Yeah.

[02:06:44] He's strange,

[02:06:45] but he like,

[02:06:45] I think people understand that I wouldn't call him a cancer.

[02:06:49] I would just say like,

[02:06:50] his behavior is kind of like,

[02:06:51] just like this malcontent behavior.

[02:06:53] I just don't think he wants,

[02:06:54] I think when he,

[02:06:54] once he gets to the point where it's like,

[02:06:57] I'm done with this team.

[02:06:59] It's very abrupt and it's very in your face.

[02:07:02] And it's like,

[02:07:03] yo,

[02:07:04] tone it down a little bit.

[02:07:04] Cause I think Dane really liked being in Portland,

[02:07:07] but I think he knew it was,

[02:07:10] he knew for a while it was over and he just was playing through it.

[02:07:14] But he's like a,

[02:07:15] he's a chill laid back Oakland dude.

[02:07:18] He's not over the top.

[02:07:19] So for him,

[02:07:20] he just probably went to the front office.

[02:07:22] Like,

[02:07:22] yeah,

[02:07:22] I'm trying to get out of here.

[02:07:23] I'm trying to get opportunity to win.

[02:07:25] Jimmy's like,

[02:07:26] listen,

[02:07:26] I'm not doing this again.

[02:07:28] You saw what happened when I was in Minnesota.

[02:07:30] You saw what happened when I went to Philly.

[02:07:31] I'm not dealing with this front office BS again.

[02:07:35] Yeah.

[02:07:35] Keep in mind,

[02:07:35] this is for time around.

[02:07:37] And he came up with a little bit more of a grind too.

[02:07:39] So it's like,

[02:07:40] he probably has a chip on the show to this day.

[02:07:42] Are you willing?

[02:07:43] Last question.

[02:07:43] Are you willing to trade him to another East team?

[02:07:49] I would.

[02:07:51] I trade him.

[02:07:52] I trade him in conference.

[02:07:56] You know,

[02:07:56] cause I'm thinking,

[02:07:58] you know,

[02:07:59] if I'm a team like say,

[02:08:00] and I know this is going to be real sacrilege,

[02:08:04] but if I'm a team like Atlanta,

[02:08:07] could I get Trey young some help?

[02:08:11] Or do you think that doesn't work like the Luca thing?

[02:08:15] I think he can get Trey young to work a little harder because I think

[02:08:21] Trey young has the body to,

[02:08:24] to,

[02:08:25] to put out more energy.

[02:08:26] I think in B was,

[02:08:28] this always kind of hurt.

[02:08:30] And I think Luca,

[02:08:32] I think.

[02:08:33] That was the pause.

[02:08:34] Not a way.

[02:08:36] Oh,

[02:08:37] the body to put on,

[02:08:38] make him work harder.

[02:08:41] Mr.

[02:08:42] Logical said Trey ain't putting his back into it.

[02:08:45] I don't see if you do it,

[02:08:47] put your back into an ice cube.

[02:08:48] No,

[02:08:48] not the spurs,

[02:08:49] not the spurs.

[02:08:51] I don't want him nowhere near Wimby.

[02:08:55] I already got Chris Paul in there.

[02:08:57] I don't want him nowhere near Wimby.

[02:08:58] I mean,

[02:08:59] Wimby might turn into a fighter.

[02:09:03] He didn't,

[02:09:03] he didn't stop flopping.

[02:09:05] I don't know.

[02:09:06] You don't say,

[02:09:07] plus we got my guy,

[02:09:08] uh,

[02:09:09] Steph castle down there too.

[02:09:10] So no,

[02:09:10] I don't,

[02:09:11] I don't want no Jimmy Butler down,

[02:09:13] down here.

[02:09:14] More likely.

[02:09:15] I think that your best,

[02:09:17] your best bet is going to be a team from the West.

[02:09:21] What a young star that's getting paid that they can just,

[02:09:27] they can flood it with a bunch of second round.

[02:09:29] Honestly,

[02:09:29] I send his ass back to the bulls,

[02:09:31] to be honest with you.

[02:09:34] He might not like,

[02:09:35] honestly,

[02:09:36] it might not be a lot of places he can go.

[02:09:38] I think I said Denver.

[02:09:39] Well,

[02:09:40] it depends,

[02:09:40] right?

[02:09:41] I really want to move Michael Porter Jr.

[02:09:42] I know the Lakers don't have any assets whatsoever.

[02:09:46] Maybe a Clippers.

[02:09:47] Maybe they want to make a move.

[02:09:49] Yeah.

[02:09:50] Trade like what?

[02:09:51] Like maybe Norman Powell and something.

[02:09:52] Somebody.

[02:09:53] Some pieces.

[02:09:54] Like just get the bath,

[02:09:56] the work,

[02:09:56] right?

[02:09:56] Maybe,

[02:09:57] maybe the Kings,

[02:09:59] maybe the Kings are looking to move,

[02:10:00] make a move.

[02:10:01] My man name on the Clippers.

[02:10:02] I can't even think of his name right now.

[02:10:04] Um,

[02:10:05] not a zoo box.

[02:10:05] You want to point guard dude.

[02:10:08] blanky dude.

[02:10:10] I'm drawing a blank too.

[02:10:11] Yeah.

[02:10:12] I'm drawing a blank.

[02:10:12] I have to look it up,

[02:10:13] but his name,

[02:10:14] his name is like right on the tip of my,

[02:10:17] you know,

[02:10:17] pause,

[02:10:18] but.

[02:10:19] Is that cam?

[02:10:20] Like,

[02:10:21] no.

[02:10:22] What is his name?

[02:10:24] Um,

[02:10:26] Terrence man.

[02:10:28] Oh,

[02:10:28] okay.

[02:10:29] That's what I was trying to older guy,

[02:10:30] right?

[02:10:30] He's older players.

[02:10:31] Like 28.

[02:10:32] I want to say,

[02:10:35] um,

[02:10:35] but you know,

[02:10:37] with,

[02:10:37] with the Clippers,

[02:10:40] like,

[02:10:40] I think Steve Ballmer likes,

[02:10:42] I think he likes a challenge.

[02:10:44] I think he likes star power.

[02:10:45] I think he likes getting,

[02:10:46] you know,

[02:10:47] those marquee players.

[02:10:48] So that could be a move that you could potentially entertain,

[02:10:51] but I don't know if there's that many places.

[02:10:53] And maybe that's why Pat Riley like,

[02:10:55] yeah,

[02:10:55] I'm not trading you because I don't know if I'm like,

[02:10:57] there's no one,

[02:10:58] there's no one desperate enough.

[02:10:59] I don't like Butler and Harden though.

[02:11:03] I think I like,

[02:11:05] I like Harden's ability to adjust.

[02:11:09] I think he's been able to adjust his game a lot.

[02:11:11] I think he probably,

[02:11:12] he probably added a year or so to his career by not playing the way he was

[02:11:16] playing in Houston.

[02:11:18] Cause I,

[02:11:19] you know,

[02:11:19] cause he was taking his uses.

[02:11:20] I don't know like Jimmy and Kawhi next to each other at some point.

[02:11:25] Like that'd be great defense,

[02:11:26] I guess.

[02:11:28] Eight years ago,

[02:11:29] it'd be an incredible thing.

[02:11:30] And that's the problem with the NBA is like,

[02:11:33] all these guys are ended up on the same teams because this whole legacy

[02:11:36] chasing championship,

[02:11:37] instead of just playing good basketball.

[02:11:40] Should you might even want to call?

[02:11:42] I mean,

[02:11:42] they probably won't deal with you,

[02:11:44] but you might even want to call Brooklyn and see if they want to come off a

[02:11:47] pick or something.

[02:11:50] Brooklyn.

[02:11:50] Brooklyn's making.

[02:11:53] So that probably ain't going to work either.

[02:11:55] You know,

[02:11:56] because that's the other thing,

[02:11:57] right?

[02:11:57] Because if you trade him somewhere out here,

[02:11:59] capping for Cooper,

[02:12:01] like if you,

[02:12:01] if you're playing hard basketball,

[02:12:02] I mean,

[02:12:03] if you,

[02:12:03] if you send him somewhere like Charlotte or Washington or whatever,

[02:12:07] like you're just going to get killed because it's going to be like,

[02:12:10] yo,

[02:12:10] you could have did Jimmy better than that.

[02:12:12] And they would probably just,

[02:12:13] you know,

[02:12:13] that team would probably buy them out anyway.

[02:12:15] But,

[02:12:16] and then,

[02:12:17] you know,

[02:12:17] but I don't know.

[02:12:18] That's most likely scenario.

[02:12:19] As you look around,

[02:12:21] because if I'm,

[02:12:22] if I'm Orlando,

[02:12:24] I don't want any old heads.

[02:12:25] You know,

[02:12:27] if you think about seeing like how,

[02:12:29] how I always kind of criticize Houston for their moves.

[02:12:31] It's like,

[02:12:33] I don't want,

[02:12:34] I don't want too many old heads and,

[02:12:37] and,

[02:12:37] and rising star yelling.

[02:12:39] I mean,

[02:12:39] you can move Dylan Brooks.

[02:12:44] That would be it.

[02:12:45] But I don't know if he's a Miami guy.

[02:12:46] He's kind of a,

[02:12:47] Dylan Brooks.

[02:12:48] He's a less protective.

[02:12:49] He's a less protective.

[02:12:52] He's a less.

[02:12:53] I think it might.

[02:12:54] Oh,

[02:12:54] you can't get them both.

[02:12:55] Yeah.

[02:12:56] That's what I'm saying.

[02:12:56] That's too much money.

[02:12:57] Like maybe Dylan Brooks.

[02:12:58] And you have to send Jimmy and Duncan Robinson and Fred and Dylan Brooks.

[02:13:06] Yeah.

[02:13:07] I don't know.

[02:13:08] We'll see.

[02:13:08] We'll figure it out.

[02:13:09] You know,

[02:13:10] I'm sure this won't be the last time we talk about it.

[02:13:12] So somebody is going to have our idea on their show in the next day or two.

[02:13:18] So,

[02:13:19] so we will be back on Tuesday,

[02:13:27] of course,

[02:13:27] with picks because,

[02:13:28] you know,

[02:13:29] we got Notre Dame and Penn state on Thursday at the orange bowl.

[02:13:33] We got Ohio state and Texas at jury world on Friday.

[02:13:36] So we'll have some picks.

[02:13:38] We'll get into some playoff lookaheads,

[02:13:40] you know,

[02:13:40] for the NFL.

[02:13:41] We'll have all the seeds.

[02:13:42] Everybody will be in place.

[02:13:44] You know,

[02:13:45] so we'll see if Pittsburgh ends up going to Baltimore.

[02:13:48] But you know,

[02:13:49] but he is the even kill Mr.

[02:13:52] Logical.

[02:13:53] And all he asked of you is that you don't bring feelings to a fact fight.

[02:13:57] Don't do it.

[02:13:58] And of course,

[02:14:01] the guitar sound like parliament.

[02:14:05] You know what I'm saying?

[02:14:07] Aggie daddy over and out.

[02:14:09] We love you.

[02:14:10] Like,

[02:14:11] review,

[02:14:12] subscribe,

[02:14:13] share,

[02:14:13] rate,

[02:14:13] do all the free things.

[02:14:17] Do all the good things.

[02:14:20] Enjoy your football this weekend.

[02:14:23] Enjoy a little basketball.

[02:14:25] Love on your family.

[02:14:27] Peace.
