Two-Five may or may not interject a little politics. (01:00) Mr. Logical is fed up with Basketball Podcasts. (09:05) It's time for NFL picks, can the Commanders, keep it going? (15:10) And upset alert, can Bama do the unthinkable? (56:40) And it's time for Around the Association. (1:27:00)

[00:00:04] Yes, you are now listening to the sounds of Sports Reports As Ordered. And I am your unorthodox statistician still wanting FSU to win, beat Notre Dame 2-5. And then we got of course, Mr. Logical, born in Texas, raised in VA, representing New Jerusalem. He said that, Keel O'Neal is the best thinner of all time.
[00:00:31] To be facts though.
[00:00:33] You know what I'm saying? I don't know about all that, but that's what he said. But yo, like, review, subscribe, share, rate, do all the free things.
[00:00:42] Do all the good things. And tonight, we're gonna talk to you about picks, picks, picks.
[00:00:50] A little bit around the association. We haven't talked on much basketball yet. Get it tonight.
[00:00:56] And then of course, we're gonna start this thing off with... Get it off my chest.
[00:01:04] So Mr. Logical...
[00:01:05] You're...
[00:01:06] You know what I hate?
[00:01:09] Let's hear it.
[00:01:09] I hate when people go online, see things, don't verify it, don't research it, and they just run with it.
[00:01:19] So earlier today, I was up on X trying to avoid all the Elon posts.
[00:01:25] You know, I couldn't. But as I was scrolling through past all his posts, I got to Texas Tech,
[00:01:34] accusing Colorado University of hating the American flag and not wanting to be affiliated with the American flag.
[00:01:41] Because Texas Tech Outfitters, you know, the store, you know, came together and wanted to put Colorado on a shirt with Texas Tech
[00:01:50] because they're playing tomorrow and it's Veterans Day weekend.
[00:01:54] So they wanted to call it Celebrate America.
[00:01:57] So they wanted both teams' helmets on the shirt.
[00:02:00] So Colorado said, no.
[00:02:02] Texas Tech went back, made some modifications, came back.
[00:02:06] Colorado said, not interested.
[00:02:09] You know, so they said, what?
[00:02:12] So they...
[00:02:12] Somebody, I don't know who, somebody put out information.
[00:02:15] They got the news stations involved.
[00:02:17] Colorado turned down American flag.
[00:02:21] So then I said, you know what?
[00:02:24] Before I even react to this, before I even go all Colin Kaepernick on this,
[00:02:31] let me click on something real quick.
[00:02:33] And then I went down a rabbit hole.
[00:02:36] And you know what I found, Mr. Logical?
[00:02:37] Let's hear it.
[00:02:39] Let's hear it.
[00:02:39] I found that before the season, Coach Prime had his players training with the Navy SEALs
[00:02:46] so that they can build their endurance and play better and go through physical,
[00:02:55] go through tough physical activities so that they could be ready for the football season.
[00:03:00] When Army came to play Colorado State, he hosted Army on campus.
[00:03:07] And Army even publicly thanked him for his hospitality.
[00:03:14] You know, they had a couple of weeks ago when they played Cincinnati and they had those gray helmets,
[00:03:20] they had the American flag inside the Buffalo.
[00:03:25] Now, granted, it wasn't red, white and blue, but neither is the cop flag.
[00:03:32] You know, so so like I don't understand what we trying to do.
[00:03:36] We just had this election the other day.
[00:03:37] And you know, a lot of this stuff and a lot of these conversations have been racially charged.
[00:03:44] You know, like I'm not calling anybody anything.
[00:03:46] I'm just saying there's been a lot of racial elements in these conversations.
[00:03:50] People are mad at each other, whether it's who they voted for or what they voted for.
[00:03:55] And here we are.
[00:03:56] You know, Texas Tech, not the football team, but this store that's affiliated with Texas Tech decided to pick on the polarizing black coach.
[00:04:11] Who probably didn't even know this was going on.
[00:04:14] Colorado doesn't want to be affiliated with the American flag knowing what that was going to do.
[00:04:19] So you know what I will do?
[00:04:21] I will give some props and I will say, you know what?
[00:04:23] Whoever made those T-shirts props because that was a hell of a marketing scheme.
[00:04:29] But this is the problem, though.
[00:04:33] Hopefully, and this is this is just me.
[00:04:35] Maybe I'm overreacting, but hopefully you didn't put any Colorado fans at that game tomorrow in danger.
[00:04:43] Because these people get charged up about this American flag.
[00:04:46] They're going to be wearing their shirts celebrating America.
[00:04:49] They're going to see some Colorado fans with some yellow and gold, some gold and black.
[00:04:53] And they're going to say, where's your American flag?
[00:04:56] Oh, your liberal ass school.
[00:05:01] Didn't want to support America and represent the troops.
[00:05:04] But you know what the funny thing about it is, Mr. Logical.
[00:05:06] All you got to do is look at Colorado schedule and you will see that their game against Utah next week.
[00:05:12] Go Utes.
[00:05:13] Is the salute to service game.
[00:05:16] Stop it.
[00:05:20] People like that.
[00:05:21] Stop running your damn mouth until you know what's actually going on.
[00:05:27] People don't want to do that.
[00:05:29] You mean I got to learn something?
[00:05:31] I got to verify something?
[00:05:32] I'm just saying, man.
[00:05:33] I just don't want the fans to be in danger.
[00:05:35] I just don't want the fans to be in danger because people going to be at that game down in Lubbock.
[00:05:40] They're going to be inebriated.
[00:05:42] Yeah.
[00:05:43] You know what I'm saying?
[00:05:44] They're going to see some Colorado fans.
[00:05:46] Whoever you voted for and not paying your bail money.
[00:05:49] They're going to be, they're going to have some Colorado fans.
[00:05:51] I just got a lot of arguments for this orderly conduct.
[00:05:54] You're going to have some Colorado fans that have a lot of melanin and those inebriated people going to be talking trash to them.
[00:06:03] Like this is Texas.
[00:06:04] This is what we do.
[00:06:06] We fight.
[00:06:07] Yeah.
[00:06:08] Yeah.
[00:06:09] I'm telling you, man.
[00:06:09] Like I remember when Donald Trump first won the election and I had a lot of people who were on either side of the coin.
[00:06:18] I was like, listen, man, I got to get back to your life because now that they got their votes, it's not going to be a lot of like hardcore positive changes that go in your way.
[00:06:27] It just, that's not how the federal government works.
[00:06:30] They're up here.
[00:06:31] It's like, it's like corporate.
[00:06:34] Your company you work for doesn't care about the air conditioning in your building when their headquarters is in Tampa.
[00:06:43] You working at a satellite location in Oklahoma is like your core people in that room.
[00:06:50] Those people care about the air conditioning, the people you work with and they care about the condition of the building.
[00:06:54] Yeah.
[00:06:55] The corporate.
[00:06:56] Yeah.
[00:06:56] They'll cut your checks and you pay until you're 401k.
[00:07:00] But like, that's the federal government, like your local stuff is more important.
[00:07:05] So the people you're beefing with.
[00:07:08] Those are the people you need.
[00:07:10] These are the people you need to make sure your, your kids go to the same school.
[00:07:14] You need to make sure that school gets money.
[00:07:16] So don't go to these games wearing your political affiliation on your T-shirt and get some drunken disorderly conduct and get that ass whooped because it's keeping a hundred.
[00:07:27] We can put it in YouTube and put in fight videos.
[00:07:30] It's not a lot of dudes that know how to really throw hands and work their shoulder.
[00:07:34] It's a lot of dudes throwing a hand.
[00:07:36] Shout out to Tim Anderson.
[00:07:38] Getting their ass kicked in front of their girlfriends and their kids.
[00:07:42] And it's like, but like I said, like, like, like Billy, you are.
[00:07:45] Call him as not Billy, you are.
[00:07:46] Joe Biden's not sending you a.
[00:07:48] Well, as Mr. Logical says, don't bring feelings to a fat fight.
[00:07:55] So, you know, I'm saying there's a whole lot of feelings going on in Lubbock.
[00:08:00] And I don't know how many people actually saw like Colorado made a statement saying that, like, you know, that's not true.
[00:08:08] We we don't have any beef with the flag.
[00:08:11] We have the flag on the back of our helmet.
[00:08:13] You know, we had the flag in our Buffalo.
[00:08:16] So calm down.
[00:08:18] And hopefully, like I said, there's not a lot of.
[00:08:22] You know, two verbally attacks that cross the line and then fight fake patriotism.
[00:08:28] Right. Right.
[00:08:30] Want to fight?
[00:08:30] Sign up to go to Afghanistan.
[00:08:32] There's still shit popping off over there.
[00:08:34] You go work in Iraq if you want.
[00:08:36] You could do security in the desert.
[00:08:38] You can go work in a little substation and buy.
[00:08:41] But it was just easy to do.
[00:08:43] I mean, it is Veterans Day weekend.
[00:08:44] So it was easy to do that.
[00:08:46] And then you just happen to be playing Colorado of all people like the media moguls that they are, you know, as a football team.
[00:08:54] And you know who is the head coach.
[00:08:57] So, Coach Prom, I got your back on this one.
[00:09:01] I agree.
[00:09:02] Go kick Texas Tech's ass tomorrow.
[00:09:05] Yeah, it sounds like a lot of fun.
[00:09:08] Well, my get off my chest is a little different.
[00:09:11] It's kind of ironic considering that me and Mr.
[00:09:14] Wilson here have my own podcast.
[00:09:16] But I got a beef with the NBA player podcast.
[00:09:23] I know you guys saw Jeff Teague do this thing.
[00:09:27] And he's a great storyteller.
[00:09:29] The dynamic of his group is great.
[00:09:32] The setting.
[00:09:35] Excuse me.
[00:09:35] His cadence.
[00:09:37] His storytelling.
[00:09:38] Like the way he's willing to put videos and video evidence to the stories.
[00:09:44] I think it's great.
[00:09:46] I love what KG and Paul Pierce do.
[00:09:48] Because they sound like two old retired dudes talking about, you know, and I appreciate it.
[00:09:55] I mean, Gilbert Arenas and his entourage.
[00:09:58] I need y'all to get on board with not sounding like a degenerate sports group comment section.
[00:10:09] It's like y'all just yelling random shit.
[00:10:11] Oh, he's not better than me.
[00:10:12] He more better than me.
[00:10:13] Blah, blah, blah.
[00:10:14] If I didn't hurt my knee.
[00:10:14] It's like, yo, come on.
[00:10:15] Y'all have way more insight.
[00:10:17] You've been in so many locker rooms.
[00:10:20] So many coaches.
[00:10:21] There's way better stories you can tell.
[00:10:25] And way better conversations you can have.
[00:10:28] Besides these same hypothetical ones that I have with the people I know who don't know shit about the league.
[00:10:35] You know, you've been in locker rooms, either all star games or you've been in training sessions with guys like a I Chauncey Billups.
[00:10:44] You know, you've been in there with Gary Payton.
[00:10:46] You know, you might've got to like some of these guys that Kenyon Martin came to league was like late.
[00:10:51] Like 2001, 2002, maybe.
[00:10:54] I think so.
[00:10:56] No, 98, 99.
[00:10:58] Yeah.
[00:10:58] So, you know, he got that early Kobe.
[00:11:01] So give me, though.
[00:11:02] Give me that story.
[00:11:03] Give me, though.
[00:11:04] Like, yo, one time.
[00:11:05] Listen, one time I had Kobe on the block.
[00:11:07] I'm killing him.
[00:11:08] They had to sub him out the game.
[00:11:10] What do you mean?
[00:11:10] Listen, man, I put like 14 on Kobe in the second quarter.
[00:11:13] Give me that story.
[00:11:15] Don't give me the what would stuff be without the three point shot.
[00:11:19] It's like such an asinine, silly conversation.
[00:11:22] Considering the access to information that you guys have.
[00:11:24] And I just think they end up yelling.
[00:11:26] And it sounds like I said, it sounds like they are reading a script from an.
[00:11:31] Yeah.
[00:11:32] Richard McCant talked about I would have rather have Reggie Miller's career than LeBron James.
[00:11:38] Yeah, like stuff like that.
[00:11:39] It's like dog.
[00:11:40] Just talk about your career.
[00:11:43] You're one of a few thousand people to ever play a substantial amount of time.
[00:11:48] Get a couple of contracts in the NBA.
[00:11:50] Not that many people have done it.
[00:11:52] I know it doesn't seem like people care about that.
[00:11:56] Like, I think it's more.
[00:11:59] I think it's just as incredible that you grew up playing basketball.
[00:12:04] You got to the height of six, five, six, six, six, seven, six, ten.
[00:12:07] And you joined the best basketball league in the world and you played it for a few years.
[00:12:12] It's way more interesting stuff that went on on the planes and the locker rooms on road trips and conversations.
[00:12:19] Maybe one of you had a conversation with David Stern is like, you know, God rest your soul.
[00:12:24] But I sat down with David Stern one time.
[00:12:26] He didn't like when I was wearing a headband and you know, give me that.
[00:12:30] Don't give me the stuff that makes me click off of your podcast.
[00:12:33] I tap in to Jeff T's podcast because he brings people on who were there in the events we tell these stories.
[00:12:43] I didn't realize how many teams he played for.
[00:12:46] And like all these random things about like, man, I never beat LeBron at all in the playoffs.
[00:12:50] He was like, yeah, so I shoved him.
[00:12:51] I was sick of him.
[00:12:52] I was sick of losing to him.
[00:12:53] And then I thought we had him.
[00:12:55] And he was like, we got y'all figured out.
[00:12:57] And we blew a 23 point lead.
[00:12:58] Like, that's a great conversation.
[00:13:01] Not just nonsense of like, oh, take away the three.
[00:13:04] What do you have?
[00:13:05] Okay, take away four of his fingers.
[00:13:07] What do you?
[00:13:07] I'm like, what the fuck?
[00:13:08] And then they used AI's crossover as the comparison.
[00:13:11] I'm like, why not take away his speed?
[00:13:15] So yeah, I just want.
[00:13:18] I think Gilbert is more tapped in.
[00:13:21] I think he uses his post basketball platform.
[00:13:26] Well, I think his personality fits.
[00:13:29] I just wish that they didn't sound like people who didn't do anything with the NBA.
[00:13:38] Like you had this insight.
[00:13:40] You have this knowledge.
[00:13:41] You have better information that you can talk about on these podcasts.
[00:13:46] Like even the, even the hood rest shit, even a groupie stuff.
[00:13:49] And yeah, I'm good with that because at least that's interesting.
[00:13:53] It's not interesting to have a conversation.
[00:13:55] Let's take away Jordan's ability to don't.
[00:13:57] How good would he be?
[00:13:58] Like that sounds fucking silly.
[00:14:00] I mean, yeah.
[00:14:01] Where's Kwame Brown personality?
[00:14:03] Would I still be charming?
[00:14:04] No, you took away my fucking personality.
[00:14:06] What do you think?
[00:14:07] Like it doesn't make any sense.
[00:14:08] Right.
[00:14:09] So just looking, just put more effort into your show other than just resting on the fact
[00:14:14] that you played basketball.
[00:14:16] Now people go watch me talk about whatever, put some real effort into it, make it entertaining.
[00:14:20] I mean, for the fans.
[00:14:22] And there you have it.
[00:14:24] Jersey strong from Mr. Logical.
[00:14:27] Yo.
[00:14:28] So I talked about it the other day.
[00:14:30] I broke it down.
[00:14:32] You know, I talked about, Hey, Washington, Detroit.
[00:14:36] That's my dream.
[00:14:37] NFC championship game, but I'm gonna take it one game at a time.
[00:14:41] And I'm starting with the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend.
[00:14:44] You know, Brian Robinson jr out for the second straight game.
[00:14:48] You know, Washington hasn't been eight and two since I was five years old.
[00:14:54] You know, said five years old, you know, saying and it's just crazy, you know, saying welcome
[00:15:00] to the show.
[00:15:01] Thanks for the comment.
[00:15:02] Appreciate that.
[00:15:03] Exactly.
[00:15:04] Just just the meat and potatoes.
[00:15:05] Just say what we want to say or what we want to hear and just move on.
[00:15:09] But, you know, so I was hoping that Marshawn Lattimore was going to play, but he's out with
[00:15:15] the hamstring, but I get it.
[00:15:17] We got Philly on Thursday night.
[00:15:19] So, you know, you want to get these guys some rest.
[00:15:22] So potentially he can go against AJ Brown, you know, and have Brian Robinson for that game.
[00:15:27] So my question about this game is can Washington's offensive line hold up?
[00:15:32] You know, TJ Watt coming through.
[00:15:34] They went out and got Preston Smith from the Packers the other day.
[00:15:37] Washington, on the other hand needs to make Russ make quick decisions.
[00:15:41] So Russ looks great when he's back there.
[00:15:44] He's got a few seconds that he could throw over the top.
[00:15:47] But can he, you know, for all the time that he missed all the rustiness, can he make the
[00:15:53] quick throws?
[00:15:54] You know, saying so like that's my question about this game.
[00:15:58] Washington and Jaden Daniels can't make the mistakes.
[00:16:02] He's done a good job so far.
[00:16:04] Numbers, you know, are matching close to RG threes in his rookie year.
[00:16:11] You know, Pittsburgh hasn't played an offense, in my opinion, who could put pressure on them
[00:16:17] this way outside of maybe Anthony Richardson, but he got banged up in that game.
[00:16:22] They lost that game, by the way.
[00:16:24] What about Dallas?
[00:16:26] What about Dallas offense?
[00:16:27] Dallas offense, they scored like 16.
[00:16:30] 17.
[00:16:31] Yeah.
[00:16:31] Yeah.
[00:16:31] Like, nah.
[00:16:33] They held them in check.
[00:16:35] I mean, literally, it was a fourth and goal, you know, late in the fourth to give them
[00:16:39] the lead.
[00:16:40] Yeah, I know.
[00:16:41] But look, man, I say all that to say, give me Washington, man.
[00:16:44] I'm taking the W.
[00:16:47] I'm taking the Burger King W.
[00:16:50] I like everything you said.
[00:16:53] I'm not sure if Jane Daniels has, I know he's been sacked about 17 times this year,
[00:17:01] which isn't a lot considering a couple of guys have been sacked six or seven times in
[00:17:05] one game this year.
[00:17:06] Some vets and even some rookies.
[00:17:08] So 17 sacks for him is a lot.
[00:17:11] But I mean, not as bad.
[00:17:14] But I just feel like he's playing mistake free football and he's not going to throw it
[00:17:24] into too many tight windows.
[00:17:26] So I give them I give Pittsburgh the shot at just kind of making making a play happen
[00:17:31] defensively.
[00:17:32] Or just keeping it to where you know what it's third and seven a lot.
[00:17:37] You're going to have to make you got to make this throw.
[00:17:40] You're going to have to make this tight window throw with TJ Watt bearing down on you
[00:17:45] going to have to make these throws.
[00:17:46] And I just think that Pittsburgh's going to get their hands on a couple of tip passes,
[00:17:50] maybe not interceptions, but they'll be drive killers.
[00:17:53] I think it's going to be able to kill drives with their defense.
[00:17:56] I don't think they're going to give up the mistakes like Cincinnati did when he
[00:17:59] threw the touchdown to McCorn.
[00:18:02] I think that Pittsburgh is going to stay more sound because Russ is going to put him
[00:18:07] in a bad position.
[00:18:08] Russ is not going to throw a bad pick.
[00:18:10] He might not move the ball and like scramble, but I think he's going to keep it simple.
[00:18:15] I think I'm looking at like a 20, 23, 17 game.
[00:18:22] Very slow grinded out game.
[00:18:24] I don't know what the weather is going to be, but it's going to feel like it's going to play
[00:18:28] out like a, like a sluggish game.
[00:18:30] Like, like the weather is dictating the pace.
[00:18:33] But really, I think it's going to be, we need to make sure we don't make the mistake
[00:18:38] and give momentum to the young hot team with nothing to lose.
[00:18:41] They're playing with house money.
[00:18:43] Watch this play with house money.
[00:18:44] Like no one expected them to be this, this far, this good.
[00:18:46] And even at seven and two, the pressure to go eight and two, there's no pressure.
[00:18:52] No pressure.
[00:18:54] So it's like, yeah, this game 73, you know, we regroup, whatever the case may be.
[00:18:58] It's not a division game.
[00:19:00] I think it allowed them to play loose.
[00:19:01] And I believe Pittsburgh, because they have the, during a division with Baltimore,
[00:19:05] they kind of have to maintain that lead with just wins until they match up with
[00:19:09] their, they got all six of their, all six of the division games are like after the bye.
[00:19:16] So yeah.
[00:19:17] And, and Washington's two and no in the division right now.
[00:19:20] So, you know, I just want to get out this game healthy, go to Philly on Thursday and have
[00:19:26] a division game, go three and no in the division.
[00:19:28] But Mr. Logical, I had some thoughts.
[00:19:30] I had some conflicting thoughts as my wife would say, I had some intrusive thoughts.
[00:19:36] Okay.
[00:19:37] You know what I mean?
[00:19:38] I thought to myself, I know they went to Baltimore last week and they got the smack down
[00:19:46] put on them.
[00:19:48] But the last time I remember Denver playing Kansas city, it was in mile high.
[00:19:54] Denver walked out with a 24 to nine when shut down Patrick, my homes.
[00:19:59] Now they're going to arrowhead, but I can't wrap my mind around it because they got a rookie
[00:20:05] quarterback and you got Steve Spag, the Wolo on the other sideline trying to, you know,
[00:20:11] confuse you, throw you off.
[00:20:14] And I just don't see how Bo Nix can navigate through that.
[00:20:19] Yeah.
[00:20:19] Yeah.
[00:20:20] This could be one of those games.
[00:20:21] It's going to be those back to back weeks where you're just facing a team that has a
[00:20:27] defense that is kind of built to be disruptive.
[00:20:31] And I do think Denver has an offense that's designed to score points.
[00:20:36] Like you have a quarterback that's quarterback coach combination.
[00:20:39] It's like, yeah, let's go get these points when we can get these points.
[00:20:43] The defense is disruptive and you're a rookie trying to decipher all that.
[00:20:48] It's going to be tough.
[00:20:49] It's going to be tough because he's going to make a mistake early.
[00:20:51] Well, I wonder if Sean Payton is going to try to outsmart himself and, you know,
[00:20:55] go for a fourth and three that is totally unnecessary.
[00:20:59] You talked about this a few weeks ago where teams play against the favorites and then
[00:21:03] or the big favorites.
[00:21:04] And then they're like, no, I got to go get a touchdown.
[00:21:07] I can't take three.
[00:21:07] He's not kicking a field goal fourth and goal inside of the four.
[00:21:13] So at the four, they probably kick the field goal 3.99.
[00:21:20] They're going for it because it's going to be in that hole.
[00:21:24] You can't beat the champs.
[00:21:25] Yes, you can.
[00:21:26] You can win plenty of games three to zero.
[00:21:28] Like matter of fact, you can win every game three to zero.
[00:21:31] Right.
[00:21:31] The other team is zero points.
[00:21:33] So take the points.
[00:21:35] But they won't get that many opportunities.
[00:21:37] I got Kansas City winning.
[00:21:38] It won't be like a little under the weather.
[00:21:41] Apologize.
[00:21:42] It won't be like a vintage Mahomes game.
[00:21:45] I don't think he's going to air it out yet.
[00:21:46] Yeah.
[00:21:47] 11 touchdowns, nine interceptions on the season.
[00:21:49] I don't think him and worthy are on the same page at all.
[00:21:54] Like, like, honestly, if I'm, if I'm worthy, I'm at his house.
[00:21:58] Like I'm at his house at dinner.
[00:22:01] Sorry, Brittany.
[00:22:03] I hope put the kids to bed, but I need to pick this guy's brain.
[00:22:07] I need to know exactly where to be because what's your speed?
[00:22:12] If he can start catching routes, if he can start catching routes that they check to or like drag routes, just those routes that make the defense say, God damn it.
[00:22:24] Now we got to cover him because that's what Kelsey does.
[00:22:26] Kelsey is like 35, 36, a lot of miles, a lot of playoff games, a lot of hits.
[00:22:32] Had 13 catches last week.
[00:22:35] Yeah, they got DeAndre Hopkins out there now.
[00:22:38] I don't need to run 40 yards down the field to get open.
[00:22:41] I need to run 13 and a half yards and turn.
[00:22:45] And that's why all just rolling this way.
[00:22:48] I lean my guy so I can get the ball here.
[00:22:51] And I think Kelsey is going to have another big game because DeAndre Hopkins is going to be pretty.
[00:22:56] You're pretty preoccupied with the best corner in the league.
[00:22:59] And then you got on the Denver side.
[00:23:02] Can anybody get open and catch the ball besides Courtland Sutlin?
[00:23:06] You know, seven catches, 122 last week.
[00:23:09] I got to see some.
[00:23:10] I got to see the Denver step up.
[00:23:12] If I'm Denver, I'm taking a handful of plays and I'm shifting the defense where I got certain on Kelsey.
[00:23:19] Yeah.
[00:23:20] And I'll see the size.
[00:23:22] I'm pretty sure Sutan, they have Kelsey probably around 250, 260.
[00:23:28] Sutan is probably 210, 215.
[00:23:32] I mean, maybe big corner, but he probably doesn't match up size-wise.
[00:23:37] But I'm like, you know what?
[00:23:37] I'm going to take away Kelsey and I'm going to see if the rookie speedster can figure it out.
[00:23:43] Well, if you take away Kelsey and DeAndre Hopkins is going to kill you.
[00:23:47] You, that guy's only been here two weeks.
[00:23:50] We saw last week in, uh, after, after Tampa Bay tied the game, but he should have gone for two.
[00:23:57] We will, you know, we'll talk about those conversations later at the Tampa Bay tied that game that that check that my home is trying to go to the Andre Hopkins.
[00:24:08] He didn't get.
[00:24:09] And if when feels playing it a little tighter, he picks that off at about 12 seconds left inside of, you know, in there, you know, in Kansas City territory.
[00:24:19] So I don't know.
[00:24:20] I don't know how much information they, they exchanged in the last couple of weeks, but he's only been there a couple of weeks.
[00:24:25] So I figured I'll put a corner on Kelsey and just like, Hey, cool.
[00:24:29] You can eat underneath.
[00:24:30] But every once in a while, third and third and eight, I'm putting to 10 on.
[00:24:34] Okay.
[00:24:35] So I know in college football, we talk about consistency.
[00:24:38] We talk about trap games.
[00:24:41] Are you looking ahead to the next week?
[00:24:42] You think that happens in the NFL?
[00:24:45] Yes.
[00:24:46] Cause I am nervous.
[00:24:47] I am nervous about Buffalo going to Indianapolis with Kansas City on deck next week.
[00:24:55] Yeah.
[00:24:56] Who's Andy starting?
[00:24:58] Joe Flacco.
[00:24:59] No, they got nothing to worry about.
[00:25:00] You know, Michael, Michael Pittman's out, you know, but on the other side, Keon Coleman's out, you know, waiting on word to see if Amari Cooper is going to play or not.
[00:25:10] One side has Josh Allen and the other side doesn't.
[00:25:13] All right.
[00:25:13] Well, there you go.
[00:25:14] Give me Buffalo.
[00:25:15] See how simple that was.
[00:25:16] And by the way, the Colts just put their starting center on IR.
[00:25:20] So, you know, Vaughn Miller, you know, have a day, sir.
[00:25:24] Have a day.
[00:25:24] All right.
[00:25:25] So, you know, Eagles and Cowboys.
[00:25:28] Give me the Eagles.
[00:25:29] You know, Cooper Rush five and one, you know, started with a real defense.
[00:25:33] It's not the case.
[00:25:35] It's not the case.
[00:25:36] I'm on my line.
[00:25:36] Talk about this.
[00:25:37] I get it.
[00:25:37] They keep people keep saying that it's like, yeah, they were allowing 15 points in those six games.
[00:25:42] They started.
[00:25:42] They're not doing that this week.
[00:25:44] Yeah.
[00:25:44] Give me a whole lot of say, Kwan.
[00:25:45] So, let's take it to the desert.
[00:25:48] And I know you ain't going like this.
[00:25:49] Let's take it to the desert.
[00:25:51] Let's hear it.
[00:25:52] I'm feeling froggy.
[00:25:54] That means I'm feeling green.
[00:25:56] That means that I think the New York Jets are going to go into the desert and walk out victorious.
[00:26:03] You know, Arizona gives up 133 rushing yards a game.
[00:26:07] So, the Jets should be able to get balance that they don't normally get.
[00:26:12] You know, I would like to think, not to say that they're going to turn their season around, but I would like to think that they turned a corner last week against Houston.
[00:26:20] And they're going to make Collar, you know, Collar Murray have to freestyle, which he's good at, you know, but, you know, one thing I will give the Cardinals defense though, they've played Justin Herbert and Caleb Williams the last two weeks didn't give up a touchdown pass to either one.
[00:26:38] But I think, but I think that's a really good example.
[00:26:41] Hey, Justin Herbert's pretty good.
[00:26:43] He had his first 300 yard game last week.
[00:26:45] He, he's, he's above average looking average performing.
[00:26:51] But I, but I think this is going to come down to the last, to the last possession of the game.
[00:26:56] I'm taking the Jets in the upset.
[00:26:58] Uh, at any point, if the, if Arizona can get up 10 points, they got the game one because Aaron Rodgers doesn't come back from deficits.
[00:27:09] So Arizona should just be like, you know what?
[00:27:12] Keep the pressure on, take the points.
[00:27:14] We can take the points, keep Aaron on the sideline.
[00:27:18] Uh, if you can get away with a couple of holding calls, do it.
[00:27:24] That, that, that, I'm talking about defensive holding that frustrates the hell out of Aaron when he can't get the ball, when his passes don't look accurate.
[00:27:31] It bothers him the most.
[00:27:33] Aaron Rodgers will never go into a game and go 25 for 50.
[00:27:38] He just won't.
[00:27:40] He won't, he'll check out if, if his, if he's, if he's 26 for 35, he's not throwing to me any more complete incomplete passes.
[00:27:50] He does not want his stats to look bad at all.
[00:27:52] He, he prides himself on not throwing interceptions.
[00:27:56] Sometimes you got to throw it up.
[00:27:57] Be like, yo, Devante's down there somewhere.
[00:27:59] Well, he's thrown seven so far this year.
[00:28:01] Cause a lot, because he was trying to like, throw it like these perfectly back shoulder passes on some of them been tipped, but like, he's trying to throw these perfect passes versus just, you know, let's make these plays throughout the game.
[00:28:14] And he wants perfect passes.
[00:28:15] Like you're not going to get perfect.
[00:28:17] Um, I'm taking, I would have taken him last week against, uh, Houston.
[00:28:21] That was what we didn't talk about it.
[00:28:23] Uh, but I don't think it rides two weeks.
[00:28:25] I got Arizona.
[00:28:27] Okay.
[00:28:28] Well, Mr. logical guess who's the Zach.
[00:28:33] CMC.
[00:28:34] How many Texas is getting 12.
[00:28:36] Well, that's what I want to know because that matters to me because are they going to try to force feed him the ball because he's back now or they're going to have them on a pitch count.
[00:28:45] Jordan Mason is fourth in the league and rushing.
[00:28:48] They're going up against Tampa Bay.
[00:28:50] So Brock Purdy should be able to get a little loose.
[00:28:53] Juwan Jennings should be back.
[00:28:55] Hopefully.
[00:28:56] Um, it looks like he's trending towards playing this weekend, but I have to step back for a second.
[00:29:01] And I know we're upset about the two point decision, but maybe Todd Bowles is a better coach than I thought because he's got Tampa competitive.
[00:29:09] He's got Tampa, you know, playing hard.
[00:29:12] They're still playing for him, if you will, but they just got a lot of injuries.
[00:29:16] They don't have a secondary.
[00:29:18] They are running the ball a lot more, which I've been looking for them to do.
[00:29:22] But I think this game is going to come down as far as Tampa, their offense is going to come down to Cade Otten.
[00:29:29] You know, how often can he get open?
[00:29:32] How often can he make a play on third?
[00:29:33] With the linebacker core and the linebacking construct and how they defend, it's going to be tough.
[00:29:40] I mean, that's why I'm taking the 49ers.
[00:29:42] And I'm taking the 49ers.
[00:29:44] Tampa Bay, like Todd Bowles, I mean, TB for TB.
[00:29:50] He's a good coach.
[00:29:52] He doesn't have a lot of emotion.
[00:29:54] Right.
[00:29:55] He's not out here like, you know, trying to be all in a video.
[00:30:00] He's like, you know, if you want to play some real football, come down to Tampa Bay.
[00:30:04] It just is.
[00:30:05] You got to have weapons like we didn't really elaborate on Dallas.
[00:30:08] I'm not trying to like discredit them, but it's like.
[00:30:11] When you have a roster like that and the, you know, the your replacement is nowhere near the starter that's out.
[00:30:20] That's a huge drop off.
[00:30:22] People make it sound like no, it's about the scheme.
[00:30:24] Listen, Jordan Addison is a good wide receiver.
[00:30:28] Justin Jefferson is great.
[00:30:29] If you don't have both of them, there's no way that the third and fourth guy you had compared to the one and two combination that you have.
[00:30:38] So with Tampa Bay not having Godwin, Chris Evans, I mean, Mike, Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, they gave Kansas City all they can handle.
[00:30:47] Kansas City is a weird undefeated team.
[00:30:50] It's a lot.
[00:30:50] That is one of my concerns because Travarius, Travarius Ward is out.
[00:30:56] He stepped away from the team for a little bit.
[00:30:58] You know, he had the tragedy with his daughter, so they're going to do a service for her.
[00:31:02] So he's not going to be there this weekend.
[00:31:04] So but that would bother me if Mike Evans and Godwin Godwin were there or at least one of them, but neither one of them are there.
[00:31:12] So that's why I think the 49ers are going to win this game.
[00:31:15] I don't want to say it's going to be easy, but I got it double digits.
[00:31:20] I think the final score will make it look.
[00:31:23] I think the final score will make it look.
[00:31:27] More competitive, similar to the Dallas Atlanta game, 2721.
[00:31:33] It wasn't a 2721 game.
[00:31:35] See, how do you always do that?
[00:31:38] Because that was the next team I was going to talk about.
[00:31:41] You know, no, I just know.
[00:31:44] Going down to the house of horrors.
[00:31:47] But there's no monster in that house.
[00:31:50] It's their own psyche.
[00:31:53] Yeah.
[00:31:53] Dennis Allen got fired this week.
[00:31:55] They got the special teams coach as the interim coach.
[00:31:58] Alvin Kamara is the only hope that the Saints have.
[00:32:01] Atlanta is going to be able to key on him.
[00:32:03] The only thing that makes me a little nervous is obviously the Saints hate the Falcons more than anything else.
[00:32:09] But give me the Falcons.
[00:32:11] Kirk Cousins is new.
[00:32:12] You know, like there's new.
[00:32:14] There's a new aura around the Falcons right now.
[00:32:16] This is not your big brother's Falcons.
[00:32:21] Yeah.
[00:32:21] And I don't know how much the team in New Orleans really.
[00:32:27] I mean, you elevated the special teams coach.
[00:32:30] Right.
[00:32:31] The head coach.
[00:32:33] So it's like sort of offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, neither one of them, but like next in line.
[00:32:41] It's like you skipped over the president, the vice president.
[00:32:47] And the treasurer to get the speaker of the house to be like, you skipped over a lot of people to get the special teams coach to be the new head coach.
[00:32:53] It seems like it's more like there's more dysfunctional in that building than let on to.
[00:33:00] So I'll give them the eighth straight loss.
[00:33:03] Worst record in the league.
[00:33:05] Here it comes.
[00:33:06] So then you got to have their pick there.
[00:33:10] I mean, they're looking good for 2025.
[00:33:12] My, my, my ugly game of the week that like, you know, I try to watch a little bit of every game.
[00:33:18] I try to have red zone on another screen.
[00:33:22] I don't want to watch Pats and bears.
[00:33:26] I don't want to watch Patriots and bears.
[00:33:28] I just, I don't want to watch that game.
[00:33:29] I do want to.
[00:33:30] If you had to watch, if they said, listen, you can't leave your house.
[00:33:35] What I watching this game in entirety.
[00:33:38] I could do it.
[00:33:39] I mean, I love, I would do it.
[00:33:42] Giants, Panthers, New England, Chicago, which I would watch.
[00:33:49] I would watch Giants Packers.
[00:33:51] No, Carolina.
[00:33:54] I mean, I'm sorry.
[00:33:56] Giants, Panthers.
[00:33:57] That's what I meant to say.
[00:33:58] Packers sounds good.
[00:33:59] No, no, no.
[00:33:59] I meant Panthers.
[00:34:00] I meant Panthers, but the other word came out.
[00:34:03] Yeah.
[00:34:03] I would watch Carolina and the Giants.
[00:34:06] I would watch Carolina and the Giants.
[00:34:09] So, so, so first of all, give me the bears.
[00:34:12] You know, Ramond A. Stevenson hasn't hit 50 yards rushing since October 6th.
[00:34:17] The last three games, he's averaging 2.2 yards per carry.
[00:34:21] You know, Chicago is just, it's just time.
[00:34:24] But let me say this.
[00:34:26] If Chicago loses this game to New England, luckily the game is in Chicago and Iberflues will be able to Uber home.
[00:34:34] Oh yeah.
[00:34:35] I'm taking New England.
[00:34:36] Okay.
[00:34:37] I just, I just think that Chicago was thinking about it early and I wish I would have kind of jotted a note down.
[00:34:45] I thought to myself, it's like, pardon me, pardon me.
[00:34:52] I was like, why is it that teams like the Jets, Chicago, who else had like a bad run?
[00:35:04] The Cardinals had a bad run for a very long time.
[00:35:07] Houston had a little mini bad run.
[00:35:09] Tennessee's going through theirs.
[00:35:11] But with Chicago, every team has had like a dynamic quarterback for at least a clip.
[00:35:19] But either they drafted a guy or they got a guy in free agency.
[00:35:24] Denver had Peyton Manning for a few years and he had the 50 plus touchdowns and they had a couple of Super Bowl runs.
[00:35:31] Right, right.
[00:35:31] Even though that's not historically, you know, they had John Elway and then they had Peyton Manning.
[00:35:36] Not a lot.
[00:35:36] Obviously Green Bay's outlier with Brett Favre straight to Aaron Rodgers.
[00:35:41] Even Cincinnati with Carson Palmer, a little bit of Andy Dalton.
[00:35:46] And then you get Joe Burrow.
[00:35:48] It's like, how do all these other teams tend to get the quarterback right at least for four to five years?
[00:35:55] And Chicago never does.
[00:35:57] And I was thinking about today.
[00:35:58] It was like they just make like they traded up for Trubisky.
[00:36:03] Not just they traded up from three to two with San Francisco and San Francisco was going to take a defensive lineman anyway.
[00:36:11] So they gave up draft capital to go from three to two when they were going to take Solomon.
[00:36:16] Anyway, keep in mind the Sean Watson and Patrick Mahomes went in that draft as well.
[00:36:22] So it's just that's the thing that's kind of blows my mind.
[00:36:25] And that's why I'm picking New England is like Chicago.
[00:36:27] Chicago, they married this young quarterback like when they had Jay Cutler.
[00:36:31] Jay Cutler should have been their guy for four or five years for forty five hundred to five thousand yards a year.
[00:36:38] I don't know. I had a quarterback go over four thousand.
[00:36:40] And that's what it's like you had Jay Cutler with this cannon on his shoulder and didn't say, you know what?
[00:36:48] Let's go get the guy who worked under Mike Martz with the greatest show on turf and figure out, can we get that here in Chicago?
[00:36:57] I don't care who you had in place.
[00:36:59] Like, you know, I got this.
[00:37:01] Let me get let me get somebody that can maximize that.
[00:37:05] Eberfus is not good with young quarterbacks.
[00:37:08] You got rid of a young quarterback that still has some promise to bring in another one.
[00:37:12] That's pretty much turned into a developmental project and you have no plan to get out of it other than firing a coach.
[00:37:18] And hopefully that you get the division rivals offensive coordinator in the offseason.
[00:37:22] Cut it out. Yeah. Vikings Jags, you know, Trevor Lawrence is out.
[00:37:27] So obviously give me the Vikings rumor on the street is he may need soldiers shoulder surgery and missed the remainder of the season.
[00:37:36] So I got a contract. I got a contract.
[00:37:40] I heard his shoulder sign that contract.
[00:37:42] Yeah, I heard his hamstring run over to sign that contract.
[00:37:44] Yeah, but our God McCorkle is coming in to try to save the day.
[00:37:48] But I'm taking Minnesota. I am so sorry, Germany.
[00:37:52] I don't know if this is karma from World War Two.
[00:37:56] You know, I don't know if this is because, you know, I get better sausage patties than some of the sausages that I ate in Germany.
[00:38:03] I don't know if y'all pissed off everybody, but you get Giants and Panthers.
[00:38:08] I want to take the Panthers so bad just because the Giants are free falling.
[00:38:14] And I, you know what? I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna do it. Give me the panel.
[00:38:18] You know what? I like, I like that you went with that.
[00:38:23] Because do the Giants care about football right now?
[00:38:30] Well, you know, it's funny.
[00:38:31] Well, you know, it's funny. They asked Brian Dayball, you know, hey, if you could play, if you could coach a football game in any stadium, what stadium would each would you choose?
[00:38:41] And you know what he said? He said MetLife Stadium.
[00:38:52] So he's at that point in his coaching tenure where he's pandering.
[00:38:56] You know, he's desperate.
[00:38:58] You know, Jones hasn't thrown touchdowns in MetLife Stadium.
[00:39:01] Yeah, the Giants are last in the league in red zone touchdown percentage.
[00:39:07] So when they get to the red zone, they don't get a lot of touchdowns.
[00:39:11] Jonathan Brooks was was activated.
[00:39:13] We'll see what happens there.
[00:39:15] Truba Hubbard just got his new contract.
[00:39:17] I don't know what they doing because Miles Sanders is somewhere making some money too.
[00:39:21] You know, but Dexter Lawrence and the Giants lead the league in sacks.
[00:39:27] You know, you know, so I mean, give me Carolina.
[00:39:31] I'm taking the Panthers.
[00:39:32] I'm gonna jump out on a limb and say that somehow some way the Panthers are going to win two games in a row.
[00:39:39] I'm gonna take the Giants for the sake of conference standings.
[00:39:45] Like I want every team in the NSE South to lose.
[00:39:48] So I'm gonna take the Giants for that.
[00:39:51] And like Daniel Jones.
[00:39:54] I think the biggest problem that I personally see with him.
[00:39:57] He doesn't make plays.
[00:40:01] When.
[00:40:03] Like when you have to improvise.
[00:40:07] Like he doesn't slide slide make a play happen.
[00:40:12] It just so often is just whatever like like those fourth downs a few weeks back.
[00:40:18] I remember thinking like, yo, you if you just would have waited a second.
[00:40:22] Slayton was open behind that hitch that you threw.
[00:40:26] And you had time and it's like the hitch wasn't open.
[00:40:31] Both times you don't fourth down.
[00:40:32] They do a hitch the right side to a hitch to left to 17.
[00:40:36] What's the guy's name?
[00:40:39] Wardell or what?
[00:40:40] One there Robinson.
[00:40:41] One there Robinson.
[00:40:42] They do hitches to him.
[00:40:44] And the first time he threw the hitch, it got knocked down.
[00:40:48] Slayton was open on the backs like behind him.
[00:40:51] So maybe it's like maybe it's like Joe Burrow.
[00:40:54] Chase Brown says sometimes he don't see it.
[00:40:56] That was Jamar Chase.
[00:40:58] I mean, Jamar Chase.
[00:40:59] Yeah.
[00:40:59] He said, he said Joe Burrow don't see it.
[00:41:01] Yeah.
[00:41:01] But he saw him to get the touchdown.
[00:41:03] He saw him.
[00:41:03] Like that was a great.
[00:41:05] I don't think Daniel Jones would have saw that, you know?
[00:41:07] So that's, that's the biggest problem.
[00:41:09] You ever notice that Daniel Jones got.
[00:41:11] If it works.
[00:41:12] He's got those Rache Caldwell eyes.
[00:41:15] He just looks.
[00:41:16] I think he's either, either he's injured and they just drug him up or he's just a space cadet.
[00:41:22] I never noticed how much he looked like Fred Flintstone.
[00:41:25] Oh yeah.
[00:41:26] Full on.
[00:41:26] There should have been his Halloween costume.
[00:41:28] But, but in two fives, 10 to six game of the week, you got the Chargers and the Titans with Will Levis coming back.
[00:41:37] He's back.
[00:41:38] So, you know, something epic is going to happen.
[00:41:40] And I'm going to say that the Chargers are going to whoop that ass.
[00:41:46] I'm calling a flea flicker on the first play.
[00:41:49] Yeah.
[00:41:50] He'll air it out.
[00:41:51] Will.
[00:41:52] He'll throw the ball over the top and hit the back judge in the head.
[00:41:57] You know, that's what happened.
[00:41:58] This is your crazy play of the day.
[00:42:01] Yeah.
[00:42:01] Sunday night football.
[00:42:03] I'll take Jim Harbaugh.
[00:42:05] Okay.
[00:42:06] Sunday night football.
[00:42:06] I was tempted to take the Texans if, if Nico Collins play.
[00:42:12] But then I turned around and saw that Will Anderson hasn't been practicing.
[00:42:19] So I'm going to take the lions.
[00:42:21] I don't want to go chalk, but I'm going to take the lions.
[00:42:23] Jared golf is on his all time tear.
[00:42:25] And oh, guess what?
[00:42:25] Oh, by the way, Jamison Williams is back this week from his two game suspension.
[00:42:30] So I think Detroit's going to be able to run the ball.
[00:42:33] They're the only team in the league.
[00:42:34] That's top five in offense and defense.
[00:42:38] You know, they brought in the Darius Smith.
[00:42:41] So, you know, if he plays CJ Stroud's going to be doing a whole lot of sideway running.
[00:42:47] It's Houston's interior line is the worst in the league.
[00:42:52] Yes, probably.
[00:42:53] Guard, guard, center, guard, like, like statistically guard, center, guard.
[00:42:59] They are the worst group in the league.
[00:43:02] I do.
[00:43:03] That's that popped up last week.
[00:43:05] I was watching the Jets game right after that.
[00:43:08] That's that popped up.
[00:43:09] The next two plays.
[00:43:11] Just right of the gut.
[00:43:13] There are even a good move.
[00:43:16] There are two things that I like, though.
[00:43:18] You got the Miko Ryans with 10 days to prepare some defensive strategies to slow down Detroit.
[00:43:27] And since he's been the head coach.
[00:43:30] I know short period of time.
[00:43:32] They haven't lost back to back games since the first two games of last season.
[00:43:36] Well, the game they lost last week is a game they shouldn't have lost.
[00:43:39] 100 percent.
[00:43:40] That's the NFL that happens.
[00:43:43] But then you got.
[00:43:45] So you taking the Lions?
[00:43:47] Yeah, I'm taking the Lions.
[00:43:49] All right.
[00:43:49] And then you got Monday night football.
[00:43:51] Please, please.
[00:43:53] Before this game starts at SoFi field, check the scoreboard because that thing is going to be lighting up.
[00:44:00] It might catch fire.
[00:44:01] You know, to it and Stafford going up and down the field.
[00:44:06] Miami needs this game.
[00:44:08] The Rams don't necessarily need it per se because their division is all jumbled up together, but they shouldn't lose this game.
[00:44:15] You know, can Miami contain Jarrett verse?
[00:44:18] You know, I think we're going to see a lot of H and, you know, catching passes out the backfield, you know, don't get to a hit stuff.
[00:44:27] Yes.
[00:44:27] And, you know, and I think this is it.
[00:44:29] This is the moment.
[00:44:30] I think this is going to be the resurrection of the cheetah.
[00:44:33] And I know Noah Lyle's been out here watching with a lot of criticism, but this is the game that Tyreek Hill is going to remind people of who he is.
[00:44:43] I am taking Miami to go to SoFi field and get a win that they desperately need.
[00:44:50] Cool. That makes one of us.
[00:44:52] I'm taking old, reliable, old school, new teeth, Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay with the clipboard making it happen.
[00:45:04] All right.
[00:45:05] I just feel like Miami, they lost their edge because the thing that gave them their advantage is that they're a track team.
[00:45:17] They're out front.
[00:45:18] They're sprinters.
[00:45:20] They're like, you know, like they call them all first things first break dancers.
[00:45:23] Like that's that's that's their that's their claim to fame.
[00:45:28] They don't really have a grind out toughness.
[00:45:33] We got to stay level headed because like when they dropped 70 on Denver last year, it was like it was like play money.
[00:45:39] Mm hmm.
[00:45:40] They were just like playing around doing whatever they wanted.
[00:45:42] And that's how they treated the following weeks.
[00:45:45] But when they got tough games against Kansas City, granted, the playoff game, I don't even know how they played it.
[00:45:51] It was like negative 24 or something.
[00:45:53] People lose their limbs and stuff.
[00:45:55] Yeah.
[00:45:56] Like I love football.
[00:45:57] I would never I'd never watch Kirk Cousins.
[00:45:59] What's the coldest game you've been to that game you went to last year?
[00:46:03] The game.
[00:46:04] Well, the one I went to in December, it just was raining.
[00:46:07] Oh, it wasn't cold, though.
[00:46:08] It's probably like 45 degrees.
[00:46:11] It just was raining.
[00:46:12] Like it was no wind.
[00:46:13] And I had like and I think I had I had a sweatsuit on and a hoodie with my jersey and a hat.
[00:46:18] Like that's all I had.
[00:46:19] So it wasn't that bad.
[00:46:21] I went to a couple of rainy games.
[00:46:22] I've been to rainy games, but I haven't met too many cold games.
[00:46:25] The coldest game I've been to, sadly to say, wasn't even to see my own team.
[00:46:30] You know, this was back way back in the early 2000s when the Ravens right after the Ravens first came to Baltimore.
[00:46:39] I was on leave.
[00:46:41] Somebody had a football ticket.
[00:46:43] I had to be there because it was the first Monday night football game that the Ravens had, you know.
[00:46:49] So I had to be there playing against the Minnesota Vikings, Randall Cunningham, Randy Moss, Chris Carter.
[00:46:55] And it was 12 degrees.
[00:46:57] It was 12 degrees.
[00:46:59] And I had to go get some gloves at halftime.
[00:47:02] But 12 on the harbor?
[00:47:04] You know, say, yeah, that's that.
[00:47:06] That's ballsy right there.
[00:47:09] The same thing here, you know, East Rutherford, the MetLife Stadium is right.
[00:47:15] It's close to the water, but it's not like right on it on it.
[00:47:18] But it's close enough to where like you can get some of that, you know, that cool breeze.
[00:47:23] You know, while we're talking about, you know, East Rutherford, I got a bone to pick.
[00:47:27] Rutgers, you need to play some games at MetLife.
[00:47:31] I think they just like playing there.
[00:47:35] Yeah, you're right.
[00:47:36] They're wrong.
[00:47:36] So it wouldn't even matter anyway.
[00:47:38] Yeah.
[00:47:39] And they wouldn't sell it out.
[00:47:42] That's another thing.
[00:47:42] Like, you got to if you if you do that, you got to sell out.
[00:47:45] If you're going to play a game at NFL Stadium, you got to sell it out.
[00:47:48] All right.
[00:47:48] Here's the question.
[00:47:49] MetLife is like 70,000 seats.
[00:47:51] I think Rutgers Stadium might be.
[00:47:53] It's like 56,000.
[00:47:54] If that.
[00:47:55] Like, I've been there.
[00:47:56] It's not even like it's it's it's a tight.
[00:47:59] It's like probably closer to 45.
[00:48:00] It's like it's like the Utah Stadium.
[00:48:02] Yeah.
[00:48:03] So so if you.
[00:48:04] So now that we're past the halfway point of the season, real quick.
[00:48:09] Who's your MVP at this moment?
[00:48:11] God, man, it's it's easy.
[00:48:13] It's Kirk Cousins.
[00:48:15] 100 percent.
[00:48:16] What Kirk Cousins doing in Atlanta swag surfing, Kirk Cochains.
[00:48:22] Walking your trap.
[00:48:23] Take over your trap.
[00:48:24] Now it's Lamar Jackson.
[00:48:27] It's Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow second.
[00:48:32] It's hard.
[00:48:33] Not just.
[00:48:34] I know.
[00:48:34] I know.
[00:48:35] I was being facetious with the Joe Burrow thing.
[00:48:37] If they were six and four, I think he'd have a better shot.
[00:48:39] He would be the MVP.
[00:48:40] But it's hard for me because.
[00:48:42] No, even at six.
[00:48:43] I still think it's Lamar because Lamar is more.
[00:48:45] It's hard for me just because.
[00:48:48] You know, they have Derek Henry now.
[00:48:52] But for the moment.
[00:48:53] So bad.
[00:48:54] For the moment, I will agree with you for the moment.
[00:48:56] I will agree with you.
[00:48:57] But but you know, but that's just it's hard for me to.
[00:49:01] Henry's a touchdown machine for sure.
[00:49:03] He's got a touchdown in every game this year.
[00:49:06] But there's been two or three drives in every one of Baltimore's victories,
[00:49:11] even in their losses like that play to Isaiah likely.
[00:49:14] Like he missed like he missed a foul on the previous play.
[00:49:18] And then the play to get the ball to Isaiah likely, you know.
[00:49:23] We imagine John Harbaugh is going for two.
[00:49:26] If he gets out of if he gets that toe in bounds,
[00:49:29] I'm thinking he's right for two to win the game.
[00:49:31] So I think they start off one and oh there.
[00:49:33] So even in losses, he's been spectacular.
[00:49:37] And then last night they were down 21, seven,
[00:49:40] six or seven minutes left in the third.
[00:49:42] And then he goes on a four touchdown tear where it was just like.
[00:49:46] It was vintage Lamar, like especially that scramble at the goal line,
[00:49:50] because I was like, throw it away, throw it away, throw it away.
[00:49:52] And he was like, somehow he got around.
[00:49:54] I'm like, this is what video game this happened in video game.
[00:49:57] It pissed me off.
[00:49:58] And then he got down to the one yard line.
[00:50:00] And then the play like the ability to call that play
[00:50:03] where he was like running like he was running with the ball
[00:50:06] and then push into his hand and do the touchdown to Aguilar.
[00:50:10] No, you can't do that with you.
[00:50:13] Couldn't do that with Tua.
[00:50:14] You couldn't do that with Matthew Stafford.
[00:50:16] Like no one's going to buy it the way they bought that.
[00:50:21] Aguilar did a little faint little like he was going to block
[00:50:23] and was wide open in the back of the end zone.
[00:50:28] Who's your coach of the year?
[00:50:33] Coach of the year.
[00:50:34] It's tough.
[00:50:35] It's a lot of good candidates.
[00:50:37] I like Kevin O'Connell in Minnesota.
[00:50:39] I like what he's doing with Sam Darnold,
[00:50:40] considering that he was a cast off.
[00:50:42] He lost his quarterback this season.
[00:50:44] But Brian Flores' defense has kind of been the catalyst for the victory.
[00:50:47] So it's kind of hard.
[00:50:51] I like Dan Quinn, but the same thing.
[00:50:53] Is it Kingsbury?
[00:50:56] Yeah, Kingsbury.
[00:50:57] It's Kingsbury, yeah.
[00:51:02] It's tough.
[00:51:03] Mike Tomlin.
[00:51:04] But Mike Tomlin has a really good team.
[00:51:06] I think Tomlin is probably more than running for like give me my respect.
[00:51:10] Not necessarily like an award like, yo, respect what I'm doing out here.
[00:51:13] Oh, man.
[00:51:17] I think for me.
[00:51:18] Dan Campbell is – but Dan Campbell was a half away from getting to the Super Bowl
[00:51:22] where people felt like he should have gotten to the Super Bowl.
[00:51:25] I think for me right now, I think it's Sean McDermott.
[00:51:31] You know, because – yeah, Buffalo lost a lot.
[00:51:34] You know, they lost Poyer.
[00:51:35] They lost Trey White.
[00:51:37] You know, Vaughn Miller's been suspended.
[00:51:40] You know, they don't have any receivers.
[00:51:42] You know, they went out and got Amari Cooper.
[00:51:44] But before that, they didn't have any receivers.
[00:51:46] Somehow, Josh Allen isn't turning the ball over.
[00:51:48] He only got one interception on the season.
[00:51:51] You know, so just looking at – and right now, they basically got their Division I.
[00:51:59] It's Week 10, and Buffalo basically has their division unless they lose out or something like that.
[00:52:05] Yeah.
[00:52:05] So that's – so that's for me.
[00:52:07] I like Dan Quinn, obviously, but I don't want to be a homer.
[00:52:11] You know, I know you ain't going to like that I'm about to say this,
[00:52:13] but depending on how it looks the next few weeks, I think Sean Payton could get some votes
[00:52:18] because nobody had Denver doing –
[00:52:20] Yeah, and I think I probably blocked that out.
[00:52:25] Yeah.
[00:52:27] They hate blinding me.
[00:52:31] I'm not going to front.
[00:52:32] Yeah, you know what I mean?
[00:52:33] So I think there's a lot of answers to this question.
[00:52:36] I know it's not Nick Sirianni.
[00:52:39] And the thing about it, based off how they perform on the field, it very well should be.
[00:52:45] They can finish this year.
[00:52:47] Philly might finish this year, man, 12-5.
[00:52:53] 12-5, yeah.
[00:52:55] Easy.
[00:52:56] They're going to run away with their division.
[00:52:58] They're going to be resting starters in Week 17 and 18.
[00:53:00] I wouldn't say run away, but come on.
[00:53:03] Oh, my bad, my bad, my bad.
[00:53:07] I'm so conditioned to Dallas being their main competition,
[00:53:11] so I apologize to the Washington community.
[00:53:15] But, yeah, they're in a position to be –
[00:53:19] or they're in a position to beat out the new hot team and still win a division.
[00:53:28] Even with the turmoil and how people feel about Sirianni,
[00:53:31] I still think he – I still think that his ego is going to cost them momentum,
[00:53:38] but not necessarily gains because I think the talent can make up for –
[00:53:43] like I think he'll go for it on the 4th and 2.
[00:53:46] Did you see his press conference today?
[00:53:47] Instead of going up –
[00:53:49] The one you sent me was like over here, like he didn't know the report.
[00:53:53] Well, no, no.
[00:53:54] What happened was they listed Jalen Hurt as he had a hurt ankle,
[00:53:59] but then they asked him like, yo, how's his ankle doing?
[00:54:02] And he's like, oh, his ankle fine.
[00:54:04] He just resting.
[00:54:05] And it's like, well, he's on the injury report saying that his ankle is hurt.
[00:54:08] And he's like, no, his ankle's not hurt.
[00:54:10] He's just resting.
[00:54:11] So they're like, so is he injured or not?
[00:54:13] Like just resting.
[00:54:15] Like it was just like this weird thing.
[00:54:17] Like is he lying?
[00:54:18] Like is he trying to like throw the opponent off or something?
[00:54:21] I'm not understanding the purpose of the injury report being public.
[00:54:27] That's a different conversation for a different day.
[00:54:29] Right.
[00:54:29] And I would love for someone to really like –
[00:54:32] because in hockey it's upper body, lower body.
[00:54:35] That's the injury report.
[00:54:36] There's no specific, yeah.
[00:54:38] To me that makes the most sense.
[00:54:39] And we'll talk about the injury report again here in a little bit
[00:54:42] because I got something for you.
[00:54:43] Okay.
[00:54:44] Because unless it's closely tied to like gambling,
[00:54:48] because I know the spread has been a huge part of football.
[00:54:52] Like even my dad was doing football pools when I was growing up, 7, 8, 9, 10.
[00:54:56] Right.
[00:54:57] I was asking, what does this mean?
[00:55:00] So maybe that's part of it.
[00:55:02] But I don't know if hockey – I imagine that they do, if they have like the odds
[00:55:08] and things every game and if it's been like ingrained into the sport.
[00:55:12] But I think the injury report has to be tied to that in some form or fashion,
[00:55:17] which I feel as a coach I'd lie to.
[00:55:21] All right.
[00:55:21] Last question.
[00:55:22] Everybody healthy.
[00:55:24] Last question.
[00:55:25] If you could change your Super Bowl pick today, would you?
[00:55:30] Nah, because it's Kansas City, Detroit.
[00:55:32] Okay.
[00:55:33] Okay.
[00:55:34] It's like – it's just – like obviously NFC I would love for my team to represent,
[00:55:37] but, you know, we don't get to the passer enough.
[00:55:40] So some guys can, you know, you start making some headway and get some more sacks.
[00:55:43] But picking Kansas City, Detroit preseason, if you laid that bet down,
[00:55:49] I think you're comfortable with that.
[00:55:52] I'm not going to change mine even though I should, you know,
[00:55:55] just because I don't operate like that because I had San Francisco and Baltimore.
[00:56:00] You know.
[00:56:01] Yeah, yeah.
[00:56:02] San Francisco is going to be – that's tough.
[00:56:04] Yeah, but they're getting healthy now.
[00:56:05] You know, they got McCaffrey back.
[00:56:07] So, you know, over the next few weeks they have a chance to reassert themselves.
[00:56:11] We'll see.
[00:56:11] You know, so – but moving on.
[00:56:14] So first I'm going to start this off, of course, with upset alert.
[00:56:21] Upset alert.
[00:56:22] One more time for the people out there.
[00:56:24] Upset alert means that the team is going to cover.
[00:56:27] But then I have actual upsets.
[00:56:30] So upset alert.
[00:56:32] The team is underdogs by six or so.
[00:56:35] I'm saying that they're going to cover, not necessarily win.
[00:56:39] You know, the win is a bonus.
[00:56:40] But the upset is just straight up pick.
[00:56:43] So upset alert.
[00:56:44] I got one tonight.
[00:56:46] You know, I'm waiting for the game to come back on because I was watching the Lakers.
[00:56:50] But I had Wake Forest covering seven against Cal.
[00:56:54] And right now they're down seven.
[00:56:56] Or actually they're down three with 253 left in the game.
[00:56:59] So it looks good so far.
[00:57:01] You know, I got Utah.
[00:57:02] Utah.
[00:57:03] Go Utes.
[00:57:05] You know, saying coming off the bye.
[00:57:08] You know, Zach Wilson's brother got benched in their last game.
[00:57:12] Yeah, it looks like they're going to.
[00:57:14] They haven't said who's going to be the starter.
[00:57:16] But it looks like this other guy, Brandon.
[00:57:18] Yeah, Rose.
[00:57:19] Yeah.
[00:57:20] Rose, yeah.
[00:57:20] Yeah.
[00:57:21] So I'm taking Utah.
[00:57:23] I might as well take them straight up because it's only a three-point spread.
[00:57:28] But I'm going to just say Utah covers.
[00:57:31] Clemson and Virginia Tech.
[00:57:33] That's an emotional spread.
[00:57:34] That's a holy war rivalry game spread because bad quarterback plays, your spread should be higher than three.
[00:57:42] Yeah, I got Virginia Tech.
[00:57:44] You know, they're six-point underdogs to Clemson.
[00:57:48] You know, and this is predicated that their quarterback will play.
[00:57:53] So, you know, Virginia Tech, that is, because, you know, Kyron Drones, you know, we'll have to see because he missed last week's game against Syracuse.
[00:58:03] You know, they're playing Clemson this week.
[00:58:05] Clemson coming off the ugly loss to Louisville.
[00:58:08] And we're sitting here with Clemson, like, what to do with them because the two good teams they've played this year, they lost.
[00:58:15] And they lost badly.
[00:58:17] So this is not one of those things where it's close.
[00:58:20] It's close.
[00:58:21] No.
[00:58:21] They looked awful.
[00:58:23] Louisville came in there and just smacked them around their own.
[00:58:26] And it makes me wonder.
[00:58:27] You got to win your other games pretty.
[00:58:29] Yeah, because it makes me wonder.
[00:58:31] Many get it off my chest real quick.
[00:58:33] A lot of people were talking about, oh, look at Florida State.
[00:58:37] Look at Clemson.
[00:58:38] They don't need the transfer portal.
[00:58:40] See, you can't rely on the transfer portal.
[00:58:42] Davo was right because he's developing players and not using the transfer portal.
[00:58:46] Well, you know what?
[00:58:47] If he had some linebackers last week, they would have won that game against Louisville.
[00:58:54] If they had a better quarterback, they would have won that game against Louisville.
[00:58:57] If they had a wide receiver besides Antoine Williams, they would have won that game last week.
[00:59:02] If any way you can legally get good players, you should explore that.
[00:59:08] You don't always have to rely on it.
[00:59:11] But if somebody told you, hey, man, you know, if you just walk, someone pays you for your steps.
[00:59:17] You're like, nah, man.
[00:59:18] I only like to drive.
[00:59:19] Right.
[00:59:20] Hey.
[00:59:20] All right.
[00:59:21] So give me UVA, the Hoos, covering the seven and a half against Pitt.
[00:59:27] You know, Pitt coming off that heartbreaking ass whooping, if that's a thing, because I know usually when we say heartbreak, it's a close game.
[00:59:34] But it was a heartbreaking ass whooping because they were undefeated.
[00:59:38] They came down here to Dallas and SMU put it on them.
[00:59:42] Put it on them.
[00:59:44] And then finally, finally, and this might as well be an upset pick as well, but give me North Texas to cover this two and a half against Army.
[00:59:54] We'll see if Bryson Daly's playing or not up in the air, up in the air.
[00:59:59] Now for the actual upsets.
[01:00:01] Give me Syracuse over Boston College.
[01:00:07] Give me Duke over NC State.
[01:00:12] Give me OU over Missouri.
[01:00:16] And then finally, Kansas over Iowa State.
[01:00:22] That's your upset alert and picks.
[01:00:23] It'll be online in the morning.
[01:00:26] So let's get right to it, Mr. Logical.
[01:00:28] You want to talk about injury reports?
[01:00:31] Let's hear it.
[01:00:32] Why the hell does Lane Kiffin have 24 players on the injury report?
[01:00:38] What is he trying to accomplish?
[01:00:40] So when he zoos fake injuries during the game, he'll be like, hey, I had him listen on the injury report.
[01:00:45] And, you know, so this is why it's hard for me to trust Ole Miss because Lane Kiffin is always playing these games.
[01:00:53] You know, last year when they play.
[01:00:54] And I think that's the only thing that's playing the game.
[01:00:55] And I think that's the only thing that's playing the game.
[01:00:56] Yeah, like that's a good comparison.
[01:00:58] Like last year when they played Bama, you know, he did the whole Taylor Swift castle crumbling thing.
[01:01:04] You know, and I thought that was hilarious because I love that song too.
[01:01:06] Don't judge me.
[01:01:07] But, you know, but they did that and, you know, they lost the game.
[01:01:11] You know, every single year he plays these big games.
[01:01:15] His career as a head coach in college football, 2-15 against top 10 teams.
[01:01:21] So even the people that support him have given up and say that he's just not going to win the big game.
[01:01:29] Yeah, but Nick Saban's personality doesn't allow him to lose games.
[01:01:39] Because he has such a dominerary, demanding personality.
[01:01:44] Lane Kiffin's a frat boy.
[01:01:47] He's a frat boy.
[01:01:48] He's a funny frat boy.
[01:01:50] He has recruits riding around in the Bentley.
[01:01:52] He's entertaining.
[01:01:54] He's savvy, you know, to the extent of his age on social media.
[01:01:59] I think he understands how to use his platform and his popularity.
[01:02:03] He's always saying, like, little quippy stuff when he does, like, the SEC pro day, like the interviews and when he's on TV.
[01:02:12] He always has something, some kind of sound bite.
[01:02:16] That's what he is.
[01:02:17] You know what I mean?
[01:02:18] And he's a pretty good coach.
[01:02:21] He's moved around.
[01:02:22] He's made some improvement.
[01:02:23] Guys are, can't deny, like, yo, he is a good coach.
[01:02:27] But when it boils down to it, it's like, he's this tier coach, but this tier personality.
[01:02:34] And sometimes when the coaching doesn't pan out, you just resort to personality.
[01:02:39] Well, the one thing that I will agree with him on his sound bites is he was complaining a couple of weeks ago when they had to go to LSU.
[01:02:48] And he said, how come we don't ever get any night games at home?
[01:02:52] And this is the perfect game to get at night at home at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
[01:02:56] You got Georgia coming in.
[01:02:59] You know, the big bad bully of the South coming in.
[01:03:03] We saw them a couple of weeks ago.
[01:03:05] I was one of the few that said they were going to go into Texas and win.
[01:03:09] They reminded people of who they were.
[01:03:11] They beat up Texas's offensive line, made Quinn yours look average.
[01:03:16] We argued about Arch if he should have played or not.
[01:03:19] He should have played at all.
[01:03:21] We're not rehashing that, but I disagree.
[01:03:23] We can rehash it if we want to.
[01:03:24] No, we ain't going to rehash it.
[01:03:25] But Ole Miss is coming in off of scoring 63 points at Arkansas last week.
[01:03:31] Carson Beck is doing –
[01:03:33] You had him on upset alert, right?
[01:03:35] Yeah, I did.
[01:03:36] That was bad.
[01:03:37] You know, Carson Beck is doing his best Jordan Love impersonation.
[01:03:42] He has 11 –
[01:03:42] He has 11 interceptions.
[01:03:45] He has 11 interceptions this year when he threw six all last season.
[01:03:50] Georgia is not consistent at running the ball.
[01:03:52] So, I think Ole Miss' defensive line, led by Walter Nolan, is going to give Georgia some problems.
[01:03:59] You know, can Georgia push them around enough to get that balance?
[01:04:03] Jackson Dart, 21 touchdowns, three picks.
[01:04:06] I'm just saying, you know.
[01:04:09] So, Trey Hurst –
[01:04:11] It must be more fun from a coaching standpoint to see – like, hold on.
[01:04:18] Let me rephrase it.
[01:04:20] I think if I'm a coach, like, as a fan, I've watched football forever and I've watched, like, youth football.
[01:04:30] I just always found it more entertaining and more gratifying to dominate the trenches and demoralize the psyche of the team.
[01:04:45] Someone touchdown passes, unless you have, like, some super dynamic speedster that they can't cover, then you probably don't get that.
[01:04:54] But if I can run three, four running backs at you, two tight ends, five offensive linemen, and we're just pushing your guys into the mud –
[01:05:03] because most teams don't sub at the defensive line.
[01:05:06] So, it's those same guys just getting trampled all game long.
[01:05:12] To me, that seems more demoralizing and more dominant than throwing the ball over the top.
[01:05:19] A lot of things can go wrong for a guy to get wide open.
[01:05:23] If I get seven guys to put seven of your guys on AS while I'm running the ball with the size of my offensive line –
[01:05:30] we talked about earlier, Georgia's offensive line averages 347 pounds.
[01:05:34] There's no defensive line in college that can match that.
[01:05:37] I don't think as many offensive lines in the NFL, as far as a weight, can match up with the offensive line of Georgia.
[01:05:44] Granted, grown man strength versus college strength, but you're playing against college players and you have that kind of advantage.
[01:05:50] You should have two guys right now with 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns each.
[01:05:56] Your quarterback should not have 11 in his sessions.
[01:05:59] So, Trey Harris is doubtful again this week, but we saw Jordan Watkins go for five touchdowns last week.
[01:06:06] And he's one of the guys on the injury report is probable, so he's going to play.
[01:06:11] Last year between the hedges, Ole Miss came in.
[01:06:18] Expectation, they were in the top 10.
[01:06:20] Georgia put them down 52-17.
[01:06:23] This year, Ole Miss is coming in.
[01:06:25] They lost that game earlier to Kentucky.
[01:06:27] They have a second loss on their resume.
[01:06:31] So, no expectation.
[01:06:33] The expectation is that Georgia's going to walk in there and walk all over them.
[01:06:37] They're only favored by two and a half.
[01:06:39] But if you listen to the media, it's a whole lot of it's going to just look like the Texas game because Ole Miss and Texas have similar offensive styles.
[01:06:50] But you know what, Mr. Logical?
[01:06:53] I'm tired of this shit because last week, Georgia was on the ropes.
[01:06:58] So, you can't say, hey, they were looking ahead to Ole Miss because they were playing against Florida, who's their biggest rival.
[01:07:05] You know, Florida was up in that game 20-6 at halftime.
[01:07:08] And guess what?
[01:07:09] Their quarterback got hurt.
[01:07:12] You know, Georgia came back and scored 28 unanswered.
[01:07:15] So, you know what?
[01:07:17] I'm going out on a limb.
[01:07:18] I'm going out on a limb.
[01:07:20] I'm going to give Lane Kiffin some respect and say that he finally gets it done.
[01:07:25] Give me Ole Miss 27-23.
[01:07:31] I'm going to take Georgia.
[01:07:33] Okay.
[01:07:34] Like I said, that's probably the smart thing to do, you know.
[01:07:38] You know, but, you know.
[01:07:40] Yeah, because I don't really have like – like I said, I like Lane Kiffin.
[01:07:46] I like Jackson Dart.
[01:07:48] I just like – I like the athleticism of the skilled players of Georgia.
[01:07:58] Defensive backs, wide receivers, running backs.
[01:08:01] I just think that they – I think they just put more pressure on you than you can imagine.
[01:08:06] That kind of speed, if you don't throw it on time, you got a team with a lot of speed, it's tough.
[01:08:11] Yeah.
[01:08:12] Okay.
[01:08:14] So, then let's go down to Tiger Stadium.
[01:08:16] Might get some rain from Hurricane Raphael.
[01:08:19] You're –
[01:08:20] You know, so Alabama, LSU.
[01:08:25] The loser is in a whole lot of trouble when it comes to making the playoff.
[01:08:29] You're out.
[01:08:30] Maybe not.
[01:08:30] Maybe not.
[01:08:31] Maybe not.
[01:08:31] I'm not even going to give it any kind of euphemism.
[01:08:34] You out.
[01:08:35] Maybe not.
[01:08:36] Maybe not.
[01:08:37] Maybe not.
[01:08:37] Because, remember though, remember, conference champions get in.
[01:08:42] So, Alabama's gone.
[01:08:44] If they lose, they're gone.
[01:08:45] LSU only has one SEC loss right now.
[01:08:49] So, yes, they wouldn't get in as an at-large, but they would still have a path to the SEC championship game.
[01:08:55] Because we saw A&M lose last week to South Carolina.
[01:08:58] You know, they do have the tiebreaker over LSU, though.
[01:09:02] You know, Texas has the one loss, you know, still in the SEC.
[01:09:05] Georgia has a loss.
[01:09:07] LSU beat Ole Miss.
[01:09:08] So, if my prediction comes true and Ole Miss beats LSU, they're still ahead of Ole Miss in that SEC race.
[01:09:16] So, there's a path for LSU, but Bama's absolutely done.
[01:09:20] Now, the problem that I have in this game, because I've been going back and forth,
[01:09:25] I flipped coins.
[01:09:27] I flipped cheeseburgers.
[01:09:29] If it land on the cheese, Alabama.
[01:09:31] If it land on the meat, LSU, pause.
[01:09:34] You know what I'm saying?
[01:09:35] And so, here we are.
[01:09:38] Alabama's won 8 out of 10 in this series.
[01:09:41] You know, Nick Saban was 6-2 at Tiger Stadium in his career.
[01:09:45] Brian Kelly still has not lost a night game in Death Valley.
[01:09:50] You know, this game right here is why they brought Blake Baker in as defensive coordinator from Missouri.
[01:09:56] But this is the problem that I have, Mr. Logical.
[01:09:58] This is why I can't rectify this.
[01:10:00] I'm listening.
[01:10:01] I'm listening.
[01:10:01] Because LSU, when they played South Carolina earlier this year, Lenora Sellers ran all over them from the quarterback position.
[01:10:08] When they played A&M two weeks ago, they were up in the first half when Connor Wigman was playing.
[01:10:13] But how many passes did he throw?
[01:10:15] He got, you know, I don't know.
[01:10:18] That's the difference.
[01:10:19] Alabama calls a lot of pass plays and Jalen Milrow runs and they don't run the ball.
[01:10:26] That's the difference.
[01:10:27] But also, two weeks ago, like I said, they played A&M before the bye.
[01:10:32] Connor Wigman, they had the game on lock.
[01:10:34] Connor Wigman goes to the bench.
[01:10:35] Marcel Reed comes in, runs all over LSU.
[01:10:39] So that's where, for me, I'm like...
[01:10:41] That's like Little Lamar, right?
[01:10:43] Yeah.
[01:10:44] Jalen Milrow is...
[01:10:47] He's the right quarterback to go against LSU's defense.
[01:10:53] But the problem is, and you know I've been talking about this all year, Alabama secondary.
[01:10:58] And the player that I actually like in their secondary is out.
[01:11:03] So Garrett Nussmeyer should have a pretty good game, provided Hurricane Raphael doesn't come through and, you know, make it all rain.
[01:11:13] All that kind of stuff like that.
[01:11:14] Ball slipping out his hand, pause, all that kind of stuff like that.
[01:11:17] This is not your typical DBU.
[01:11:19] So Ryan Williams, the 17-year-old you're talking about, made the big touchdown catch against Georgia to save that victory.
[01:11:26] But he needs help.
[01:11:27] Who's going to step up with him?
[01:11:28] They throw the ball his direction a lot.
[01:11:32] Well, against Tennessee...
[01:11:34] Against Tennessee...
[01:11:35] Yeah, 20 targets.
[01:11:36] 20 targets against...
[01:11:38] That's insane.
[01:11:39] I don't even do that on my video game.
[01:11:42] Like, that's what I mean.
[01:11:43] Like, I don't know if...
[01:11:46] I don't know if these SEC schools forgot that some of the greatest running backs in college football and some of the greatest running quarterbacks ran behind lines of SEC schools.
[01:12:01] So give the ball to your running back.
[01:12:04] It's only so much a defensive line can handle.
[01:12:09] Right.
[01:12:10] Someone's going to get through.
[01:12:12] Right.
[01:12:12] You just...
[01:12:12] You got to be willing to take a six-yard run and not a 16-yard run.
[01:12:18] Like, that six-yard run on first and 10 gets you second or four.
[01:12:22] You can do anything from second or four.
[01:12:24] But since we have a mobile quarterback, stop dropping back and throwing 20 passes to a guy who still has a curfew.
[01:12:32] Technically, he's not even an adult.
[01:12:35] Like, use all your assets.
[01:12:38] And I think that's going to be the...
[01:12:40] You can't expect a guy to come in.
[01:12:42] I know Nick Saban didn't leave the cupboard bare for Kaelin DeBoer.
[01:12:47] But first time at LSU, that environment.
[01:12:52] Do you freeze up fourth and one?
[01:12:55] Are you confident?
[01:12:56] Like, you know what?
[01:12:57] We're going for it.
[01:12:57] Or do you stand there and you look around at the crowd and you hear the noise?
[01:13:01] Because I see it happen with coaches a lot.
[01:13:02] It's like, make a decision.
[01:13:05] You go punt, go for it.
[01:13:06] Those are your options.
[01:13:07] What are we looking like?
[01:13:08] Oh, fourth and one from the 49.
[01:13:10] What's the score?
[01:13:11] Oh, we're down six.
[01:13:12] We're down three.
[01:13:14] Or tie game.
[01:13:14] Whatever it is, it's like, fourth and one.
[01:13:17] Hey, ref, can I get a measurement?
[01:13:19] Send a ref out there.
[01:13:20] Get a measurement.
[01:13:21] Can you get you some more time to come up with a good play?
[01:13:24] But don't burn the time out.
[01:13:25] Don't be apprehensive.
[01:13:27] Just, like, make your decisions.
[01:13:28] And I think sometimes in these environments, 110,000 people screaming for you.
[01:13:35] Some people screaming at you.
[01:13:37] TV.
[01:13:38] It's a lot of pressure.
[01:13:39] I don't know if he's ever coached in that kind of environment before and been successful.
[01:13:45] So Brian Kelly really needs this game because, you know, he came into the LSU, got to the SEC championship game his first year, even though they had a couple of losses.
[01:13:56] Last year you had Jaden Daniels, 50 touchdowns, four interceptions, Heisman trophy.
[01:14:00] You didn't make the 14 playoff.
[01:14:02] So from this standpoint, I'm not saying that his job is in jeopardy or anything like that.
[01:14:07] I'm just saying confidence-wise, the team, the fans, he needs this game, especially when you got the A on the other sideline.
[01:14:15] You know, Kaelin DeBoer, 6-0, coming off of buys, including the last two years, two wins against Oregon.
[01:14:21] You know, Brian Kelly, 20-3, coming off the buy, you know, in his career.
[01:14:26] So when I look at this, the problem is Bama's offense, they're 132nd in the nation, meaning that they have the third most third and longs.
[01:14:41] So third and seven or longer.
[01:14:44] They're the third worst in the country at having.
[01:14:47] Now, if you didn't have this information, check their first down passing stats.
[01:14:56] How often do they pass on first and second down?
[01:14:58] And that's what gets you to third and seven and third and eight, 39.
[01:15:03] And that was the problem going into the Missouri game, you know, was that their running backs hadn't ran for 70 yards.
[01:15:09] So that's why Jalen Milrow, you know, has been doing what he's doing because he has to.
[01:15:14] Give him the ball.
[01:15:15] There's no way you recruited players to Alabama who can't run the ball.
[01:15:19] Yeah.
[01:15:20] So if the rain is coming down, I absolutely love Alabama.
[01:15:24] I absolutely love Alabama because LSU can't run the ball, even though Bama gives up the outside, the edges.
[01:15:31] So flipping a coin again in my mind, I'm going to just land on Alabama 34-30.
[01:15:40] I'm going to take LSU because I think new coach, new environment, SEC night game.
[01:15:47] They just make the play that seals the game.
[01:15:52] I think LSU does that.
[01:15:53] Okay.
[01:15:54] And then we take it up to Bloomington.
[01:15:58] You know, the Indiana Hoosiers.
[01:16:00] All you got to do is get through this game.
[01:16:02] You got to beat Michigan.
[01:16:04] You got to get through this game.
[01:16:05] You take your bye week and then you go to Columbus.
[01:16:09] Columbus, Mr. Logical, if Indiana wins this game, they will be 10-0 for the first time in school history.
[01:16:19] They are the only team in the Big Ten, including all the new teams, that has never had a 10-win season.
[01:16:29] So this is it.
[01:16:31] It's right here.
[01:16:31] The all-time record against Michigan, 10-62.
[01:16:38] I was going to say 7-45.
[01:16:40] 10-62.
[01:16:41] They beat Michigan when they had Michael Penix during the COVID year.
[01:16:45] They're top 10 in scoring defense, even though they haven't played the best competition.
[01:16:51] Michigan will have success, I believe, running the ball against them.
[01:16:55] But I think Indiana's offense is too high-flying.
[01:16:58] Last week, for the first time this season, Indiana trailed in a game.
[01:17:04] So now that just leaves Army as the only team that hasn't trailed in a game.
[01:17:08] Never trailed in a game.
[01:17:08] So as you're sitting here watching this game, they fell down 10-0 in East Lansing.
[01:17:13] So everybody, oh, there's Indiana.
[01:17:16] That's the real Indiana.
[01:17:17] What did they do?
[01:17:19] Run a play.
[01:17:19] They scored 47th straight.
[01:17:21] 47th straight.
[01:17:22] They won 47-10.
[01:17:24] You know, Will Johnson and Jair Hill, Michigan's two best defensive backs.
[01:17:28] Will Johnson being the best in the country.
[01:17:31] Missed last week's game.
[01:17:32] We'll see if they play this week.
[01:17:34] So with all that being said, I'm a believer in Sig Nasty, as they call him on the Until Saturday podcast.
[01:17:43] Kurt Signetti, James Madison's own.
[01:17:46] Give me Indiana.
[01:17:47] I think they cover.
[01:17:49] The spread is 14.
[01:17:53] I'm taking them 31-14 in this game.
[01:17:56] And then they take their bye week.
[01:17:57] They go to Columbus.
[01:17:59] And everybody goes, oh, shit.
[01:18:02] This is just Indiana.
[01:18:03] Oh, no, it ain't.
[01:18:05] It might be Indiana, but it ain't your daddy's Indiana.
[01:18:08] This is a new Indiana.
[01:18:10] That's right.
[01:18:11] A Gen Z.
[01:18:12] And already, it came out tonight right before we recorded or started recording.
[01:18:17] Indiana's already trying to, like, extend him.
[01:18:20] And, you know, because schools are going to be coming after the season.
[01:18:24] Absolutely.
[01:18:26] Oh, yeah.
[01:18:26] I'll take Indiana.
[01:18:29] I told you Michigan fans early this year is going to feel a lot like the Rich Rod.
[01:18:35] But, what's the name?
[01:18:37] The Brady Hoke years.
[01:18:40] They better start cracking an NIL.
[01:18:43] Or, hopefully, you can get some alumni to come and then save the day.
[01:18:48] But, yeah.
[01:18:50] You know, and real quick, real quick, let me get your thoughts real quick.
[01:18:56] Yesterday, Florida decided to keep Billy Napier for another year.
[01:19:01] I don't know if it's actually going to happen because I remember when Tom Herman was the head coach at Texas,
[01:19:08] they did the same thing and he was still fired at the end of that year because they lost some games.
[01:19:12] You know, they still got LSU.
[01:19:14] They still got Ole Miss.
[01:19:16] And you better damn sure not lose to the Seminoles at the end of the year.
[01:19:22] I don't know what Florida fans want.
[01:19:29] Like, I don't think he's done a bad job.
[01:19:32] They want national.
[01:19:33] He's 15 and 19.
[01:19:34] They want national titles.
[01:19:36] But, you haven't had anything close to that since Tebow left.
[01:19:41] That was 15 years ago.
[01:19:46] Like, kids that were not alive and born are high school kids now in that gap.
[01:19:53] Like, they went from conception to ninth grade English.
[01:19:58] That's a long time for you to be like, oh, we did this yesteryear stuff.
[01:20:02] It's like, you haven't been good for a long time.
[01:20:05] He's – you don't want – like, my thing is, like, I don't understand why they fire coaches, like,
[01:20:11] abruptly with the recruiting because I think that sets you back a couple of times.
[01:20:14] Well, I think that's why they're keeping him because they have a pretty good recruiting class coming in.
[01:20:18] But, you know, since we're talking about it, it's guessing time, Mr. Logical.
[01:20:22] All right, let's hear it.
[01:20:24] Florida is coming down here to Austin tomorrow.
[01:20:28] What's the line on that name?
[01:20:33] Texas favored by 13.
[01:20:37] 21 and a half.
[01:20:39] Yeah, that's the state of Florida right now.
[01:20:42] Well, I mean, they're dynamic quarterback.
[01:20:45] Young, but dynamic.
[01:20:47] Got injured.
[01:20:48] He may not play.
[01:20:49] Yeah, he may not play.
[01:20:50] Yeah, you know.
[01:20:51] But we'll see.
[01:20:52] They're saying that he might.
[01:20:53] He's a game time decision right now.
[01:20:54] But I think they're just saying that.
[01:20:56] And oh, by the way, college football fans, I am watching Iowa at UCLA right now.
[01:21:05] Deshaun Foster, he's got something going now.
[01:21:07] UCLA is coming back around.
[01:21:09] You know, they played Oregon.
[01:21:10] They played Penn State.
[01:21:11] They played at LSU.
[01:21:12] They had a tough early schedule.
[01:21:14] They're up 17 to 10.
[01:21:15] 13-32 left in the game right now against Iowa.
[01:21:19] So props to Deshaun Foster for turning this season around, you know.
[01:21:23] He's got to give a better opening speech, man.
[01:21:25] Yeah.
[01:21:25] He's got to work on the speech.
[01:21:26] But if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't know UCLA was in California, man.
[01:21:29] It's in Los Angeles.
[01:21:30] In Los Angeles, yeah.
[01:21:31] Yeah.
[01:21:32] So real quick.
[01:21:32] USC's there, too.
[01:21:33] It's another school in LA.
[01:21:34] So some quick random college football notes real quick.
[01:21:37] I got my eye on this game, Mr. Logical.
[01:21:41] South Carolina favored by six going down to Nashville to play my guy Diego Pavia in Vanderbilt,
[01:21:49] the governor of Alabama, you know, beating Alabama and Auburn this year.
[01:21:55] And he's suing the NCAA right now because he feels like he should have some more eligibility.
[01:22:01] You know, he went to a junior college, all the stuff.
[01:22:03] So he's suing them right now.
[01:22:05] But I got my eye on that game.
[01:22:07] Did you know that Lincoln Riley benched Miller Moss?
[01:22:12] Yes, I did because he's ready to transfer.
[01:22:15] Yeah.
[01:22:16] And the word on the street is he might be going to Michigan.
[01:22:19] So, you know, Jaden Maieva is coming in.
[01:22:24] He came in from UNLV last year.
[01:22:27] He'll add the legs dynamic to the game.
[01:22:29] But USC's just bad.
[01:22:31] Nebraska.
[01:22:32] I can see why Nick Saban got out of the coaching game because as soon as you bench a guy, it's like I'm going to transfer.
[01:22:37] Yeah.
[01:22:38] Nebraska hasn't made a bowl game since 2017.
[01:22:42] You know, they brought in Dana Holgerson, you know, former Houston and West Virginia head coach,
[01:22:49] to be an offensive analyst because their offense has looked trash.
[01:22:54] Mr. Logical.
[01:22:55] So normally I ask you what the spread on that rule needed help.
[01:22:59] Yeah.
[01:23:01] You know, say year three is when his teams usually take off, though.
[01:23:03] That's next year.
[01:23:04] So that's what I said during our preseason.
[01:23:06] Like next year is the year for Nebraska.
[01:23:08] All right.
[01:23:09] Carolina really skyrocketed.
[01:23:10] So normally I ask you what the spread on the game is.
[01:23:15] I'm nailing it.
[01:23:16] I'm pretty solid.
[01:23:17] I got a different question for you this time.
[01:23:19] So, you know, you can also bet team totals.
[01:23:22] You know how much a team is going to score.
[01:23:25] So you got no you got Florida State.
[01:23:28] OK.
[01:23:29] Going to Notre Dame.
[01:23:31] OK.
[01:23:32] What do you think Vegas has Florida State's team total as?
[01:23:36] Seventeen and a half.
[01:23:38] Seven and a half.
[01:23:41] They've only scored 20 once this year, which was the opening game in Dublin against Georgia Tech.
[01:23:46] Their highest since then is 16.
[01:23:50] Yeah.
[01:23:51] I give them 13.
[01:23:52] Come on, Vegas.
[01:23:53] And hold on.
[01:23:54] And since, you know, since we brought it up, what's the spread?
[01:23:57] You'd get more bets at 13.
[01:23:59] What's the spread?
[01:24:02] Oh, the way they beat the brakes off of, I'm going to say 24 and a half.
[01:24:06] 25 and a half.
[01:24:09] That's so happy.
[01:24:11] 25 and a half.
[01:24:13] You know, man.
[01:24:14] So, you know.
[01:24:15] But yeah.
[01:24:16] So those are my random notes for this week.
[01:24:19] You know, saying we're going to move on and take you for the first time this year.
[01:24:22] Wait, wait, wait.
[01:24:23] Hold on.
[01:24:24] We got Iowa, by the way.
[01:24:26] 1717.
[01:24:27] What's up?
[01:24:27] We'll talk about the Holy War.
[01:24:28] Utah, BYU.
[01:24:29] It's ESPN 1015 Eastern.
[01:24:32] That's 815 Mountain Time.
[01:24:34] So all the other games have yet.
[01:24:37] Prime time for Utah.
[01:24:40] It's not prime time.
[01:24:40] Oh, it gave me Colorado, too, because now Texas Tech done made it personal.
[01:24:46] So, yeah.
[01:24:48] I know I touted BYU as going to be my college football playoff busters.
[01:24:56] But, you know, I'm still going to ride for Utah.
[01:24:59] I mean, I love the state.
[01:25:01] But, you know, I like red and black a little bit more than blue and white.
[01:25:06] Well, you know they're doing the all blue, all red thing.
[01:25:11] I'm going to sit down and watch it.
[01:25:13] I'm going to have me a nice little old-fashioned.
[01:25:15] Watch the game.
[01:25:16] But, yeah.
[01:25:17] Utah, BYU.
[01:25:20] Utah is going to be at a disadvantage mainly because injuries.
[01:25:24] You got a team that's ranked in the top.
[01:25:26] You got them at nine in the college football playoff.
[01:25:29] They're probably going to pull off the victory.
[01:25:31] But, like I said, it's a great game to watch.
[01:25:34] It's going to be intense.
[01:25:35] It's going to be – if it's – there's been some games before Utah and BYU got their popularity
[01:25:42] because they're on the Mountain West or the WAC, there's been some games.
[01:25:45] It's been like 45 yards, back and forth scrambles, and he heaves it up,
[01:25:51] and it gets tipped, caught at the 20, navigate, hell, merry touchdowns.
[01:25:56] It's been some crazy endings to these games.
[01:25:59] Yes, there has.
[01:26:01] If you want a good basketball game – excuse me, I'm watching the basketball game
[01:26:05] at the same time.
[01:26:06] If you want a good football game, Utah, BYU, Holy War, Saturday night at 1015.
[01:26:13] So stay up late.
[01:26:14] Do it.
[01:26:15] Do it.
[01:26:18] So that's where we're talking about the NBA.
[01:26:21] Seven out of the last eight times that they've played has been one score games.
[01:26:28] So there you go.
[01:26:29] And I'm taking Utah just because, you know, I think Kyle Whittington,
[01:26:34] the way that this season has gone – Kyle Whittingham, the way that this season has gone,
[01:26:38] I think that he is going to end up retiring.
[01:26:41] They have already named the coach in waiting.
[01:26:45] So I think they're going to play their hearts out to get him this win, you know,
[01:26:50] against BYU.
[01:26:52] If they don't win another game this year, that'll be the swan song, you know,
[01:26:57] that'll be the way they send them out.
[01:26:58] And they do go to Boulder next week, you know, so keep your eye on it.
[01:27:03] So for the first time this year, we are going to take you around the association.
[01:27:08] So, Mr. Logical, what you been seeing, what you thinking about the NBA so far?
[01:27:17] What I'm seeing – what I'm seeing is we got to get some young stars out there
[01:27:25] to do this thing.
[01:27:26] We got to get them to showcase.
[01:27:27] My Mellow Ball's been playing like the rules won't apply to him.
[01:27:31] He's like, this I'm going to shoot it.
[01:27:33] I'm going to shoot one foot, staying still three-pointers.
[01:27:36] I'm going to shoot off the step back.
[01:27:39] I'm going to shoot off behind the back.
[01:27:40] Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, out the window, across the street, off the telephone pole.
[01:27:45] Off my faux hawk, off my back tattoo, whatever he wants to do.
[01:27:50] Nothing but net.
[01:27:51] Grant Williams out here like a bully for no reason.
[01:27:55] Yeah, I loved it, though, when he – Jason Tatum, I loved it.
[01:27:58] It was so unnecessary.
[01:28:00] Like, dog, you could have stayed in Boston.
[01:28:01] You didn't.
[01:28:02] It is what it is.
[01:28:03] Like, I'm all about – like, I don't do forgiveness.
[01:28:06] I know people always say you should forgive.
[01:28:08] I ain't got time for that, but I'm not going to be petty and see –
[01:28:10] That's God's job.
[01:28:12] Yeah, like, let the –
[01:28:13] I'm a human.
[01:28:13] I ain't got time to forgive you.
[01:28:14] Listen, I'm living in this simulation for a select amount of years.
[01:28:17] I ain't got time for you.
[01:28:18] You good.
[01:28:19] You'll be all right.
[01:28:21] I like – I think the East is going to be one of these situations where two teams are
[01:28:29] going to run away with it.
[01:28:30] One team is going to be chasing.
[01:28:32] The rest of the teams are going to be fighting for four through nine.
[01:28:37] Not Milwaukee, though.
[01:28:39] Milwaukee is going to do some drastic –
[01:28:41] Well, they're trying to make – so according to what I saw today, they've been trying to
[01:28:47] make trades, but nobody's playing along.
[01:28:50] I don't know who they're trying to trade, but so far no one has any interest in anything
[01:28:55] they're offering.
[01:28:56] Like we said in our pre-meeting, their old – not in the sense of just age, but like
[01:29:03] philosophy.
[01:29:04] I think their coaching staff has an old philosophy headed up by Doc Rivers.
[01:29:10] Like, if you think about the Lakers with J.J.
[01:29:12] Reddick, that's an extreme case of new.
[01:29:17] I think he's bringing some old screw stuff to it, but we've already seen what you're
[01:29:22] going to get from Doc Rivers for the most part.
[01:29:23] But legendary career, very lengthy career, a lot of moments throughout the basketball
[01:29:29] history involved Doc Rivers.
[01:29:32] Like I said, you can't tell the story about so-and-so.
[01:29:35] I mean, hell, he had a son in the league.
[01:29:36] He traded his son.
[01:29:38] I mean, the man's done a lot.
[01:29:40] He should not be coaching your team.
[01:29:42] Pause.
[01:29:42] Did you hear what his son said the other day?
[01:29:46] About Colin Anthony Towns being more skilled than Jokic?
[01:29:49] Mm-hmm.
[01:29:51] Whoever he does the show with, I can't remember – like I said, those –
[01:29:54] that's what I mean, these podcasts.
[01:29:58] He said – he said Colin Anthony Towns is not a better passer than Jokic.
[01:30:02] He's like, yeah, so that's one thing.
[01:30:04] He was like, yeah, but that's a skill.
[01:30:07] That's the end of the conversation for me.
[01:30:08] Well, Jokic leads the league in rebounds right now.
[01:30:11] But Colin – Carl's right there.
[01:30:13] Jokic is the focal point of his offense.
[01:30:16] Colin Anthony Towns has probably never been back.
[01:30:18] Jokic can average 29 points and do the other things that Colin Anthony Towns does well
[01:30:27] and pass.
[01:30:29] So, like, that – and I think – I don't know.
[01:30:32] I want to read in between – I think maybe it would sound like, yeah, what –
[01:30:35] holy shit, he made that.
[01:30:38] What Austin – not Austin.
[01:30:41] What Carl Anthony Towns can do with the ball in his hand,
[01:30:44] if you just look at him, like, as a basketball player.
[01:30:46] Like, it's like watching Kyrie dribble the basketball and what he can do.
[01:30:51] He's like, I know what Cat can do,
[01:30:55] but Jokic seems to do it in the moments that counts and gets it on the stats.
[01:31:00] You know what I mean?
[01:31:00] Like, some guys can just be – like, that whole Aaron Rodgers throws the ball
[01:31:04] better than Tom Brady.
[01:31:06] Right.
[01:31:07] Okay, but when –
[01:31:09] But he doesn't make the throw.
[01:31:11] He doesn't make the throw when you need it.
[01:31:13] Like, Carl Anthony Towns might have a better – he might be faster.
[01:31:16] He might have a quicker first step.
[01:31:17] He might have all these things that if you use an attribute calculator,
[01:31:23] he would get Jokic.
[01:31:24] But when it comes down to it, Jokic went, like, 33-10-10 in an NBA Finals game.
[01:31:31] Yeah, Carl Anthony Towns shoots better than Jokic.
[01:31:34] He might block shots better than Jokic, and that's it.
[01:31:37] But he also waits for passes to get his shots off, whereas Jokic creates passes.
[01:31:43] Yeah, Jokic is the system out there, you know.
[01:31:45] But real quick, speaking of Denver, you know,
[01:31:48] my takeaway from Denver is they're in trouble.
[01:31:51] I know they're 3-0 when Russell Westbrook starts,
[01:31:55] but Russell Westbrook is not one of their starters.
[01:31:58] Jamal Murray is just hurt right now.
[01:32:00] Aaron Gordon is hurt right now.
[01:32:03] And, you know, so that might be a blessing in disguise
[01:32:06] because now Mike Malone has to play some players that he wouldn't normally play.
[01:32:12] We talked about that last year, so that might help them come postseason time.
[01:32:16] Yeah, adversity helps you get through the end, yeah.
[01:32:19] Yeah, but I don't know if Denver's going to finish with a top-four scene
[01:32:21] in the West this year.
[01:32:23] That's the thing.
[01:32:24] I think it's too early.
[01:32:26] As long as your team, because I don't believe there's any team in the West
[01:32:35] that whatever team that finishes sixth can't match up with the team that finishes one.
[01:32:42] Granted, you're going to have teams like the Lakers.
[01:32:44] The Lakers are going to be a problem because they have two stars.
[01:32:48] Like, I believe the Lakers are a 500 team.
[01:32:50] I think they're a 41 and 41 team.
[01:32:53] But having AD and LeBron playing lights out multiple games out of the week
[01:32:59] can get you to 47 and 35.
[01:33:01] Right, right.
[01:33:01] Will make you look a little better.
[01:33:04] I think the Trailblazers are going to be – they're never going to make their turnaround.
[01:33:09] They're probably going to be the worst team in the league.
[01:33:12] The Spurs, I think the Spurs not getting the ball to Wimby.
[01:33:15] People are saying he looks – like, he looks out of place on the offensive end.
[01:33:21] So –
[01:33:21] They'll get there.
[01:33:22] He's too good.
[01:33:23] They'll get there.
[01:33:24] I think the Clippers are just –
[01:33:26] And hopefully Pop comes back.
[01:33:27] Hopefully he's okay.
[01:33:28] Yeah, I think the Clippers are just – they don't have the playmakers that have enough longevity.
[01:33:35] So I don't think James Harden can be your guy without Kawhi.
[01:33:39] You know, so I think a lot of these teams have kind of, like, fade down.
[01:33:42] You might have a surprise.
[01:33:44] Like, the Rockets might play better.
[01:33:45] We know the Mavericks are going to turn it on.
[01:33:48] They're going to –
[01:33:49] Hey, how about Phoenix 8-1 right now?
[01:33:51] Phoenix is 8-1.
[01:33:52] So, like, I think the matchup between –
[01:33:56] I think whoever ends up 1-8 can match up.
[01:34:00] Yes, Phoenix.
[01:34:01] If Phoenix has ended up in the 1 and Houston's at the 8,
[01:34:05] yeah, it might be a little bit of a gap.
[01:34:09] But wherever the Nuggets need to be, somewhere in that middle range, 6-7,
[01:34:13] I think they'll be able to match up in seven-game series and playoffs.
[01:34:17] You know what I wouldn't want to be?
[01:34:20] I wouldn't want to be a big man for the Indiana Pacers.
[01:34:24] Why is that?
[01:34:25] Because this season they already lost James Wiseman to an Achilles.
[01:34:29] They turned around and lost Isaiah Jackson to an Achilles.
[01:34:33] Oh, my goodness.
[01:34:34] And now they're talking to JaVale McGee to come back up Miles Turner.
[01:34:41] I like JaVale McGee.
[01:34:43] I mean, I like him on that team because he might catch some oops,
[01:34:47] but I don't want to play for that team if I'm a big man right now.
[01:34:52] Like, that's some bad junior going on.
[01:34:54] You got to holler at the training staff.
[01:34:56] Yeah, something's going on.
[01:34:57] You know, I think that this Ryan Dunn kid for the Suns, you know, it's real.
[01:35:07] It's real.
[01:35:09] Like, here's a stat for you.
[01:35:10] Here's a stat for you.
[01:35:11] Let's hear it.
[01:35:12] So Ryan Dunn and Royce O'Neal, you know, former Utah Jazz,
[01:35:19] they are holding people.
[01:35:21] Royce O'Neal is holding people to 33% from the field.
[01:35:25] Ryan Dunn's holding people to just over 36% from the field.
[01:35:29] So that's something the Suns didn't have last year.
[01:35:32] They actually have a point guard this year in Tyus Jones.
[01:35:35] So, like, this might be, not saying that they're going to make this grand run or anything like that,
[01:35:41] but this might be what people thought that the Suns were going to be last year.
[01:35:46] Like, it might actually come to fruition this year.
[01:35:50] Yeah.
[01:35:51] And then they could finish with a top four seed or something along those lines.
[01:35:57] I think I'm looking at Boston and Cleveland in the Eastern Conference Finals.
[01:36:02] You know, Cleveland with the 80-burger in the first half tonight against Golden State,
[01:36:06] you know, with a 41-point halftime.
[01:36:10] Yeah, 83 points in the first half.
[01:36:11] Ridiculous.
[01:36:12] But Buddy Heald.
[01:36:13] Buddy Heald has stepped in for Clay, and Golden State hasn't really lost a step.
[01:36:19] 50% from three.
[01:36:20] Yeah, they haven't lost a step.
[01:36:22] Clay's been looking decent, you know, so far this year.
[01:36:24] You know, so here's a question for you.
[01:36:28] So the Bucs are 2-7 right now.
[01:36:33] What record does it take?
[01:36:37] Because I imagine Doc Rivers is going to get fired.
[01:36:42] Hold on, hold on.
[01:36:43] I imagine he's going to get fired during the season if this keeps up.
[01:36:47] So what record do they have to have before Milwaukee finally says, you know what?
[01:36:52] We've seen enough.
[01:36:53] I think that conversation is happening right now.
[01:36:57] Especially considering the guy that they fired is 8-1 in Phoenix.
[01:37:02] And considering your best player is saying, like, I'll move on.
[01:37:09] Unless you plan on starting over, then with, like, I'm talking about with your personnel.
[01:37:18] Like, you might have to make some trades.
[01:37:22] They have players that work well with Dame and Giannis.
[01:37:26] But I don't know if they have players that other teams are going to want.
[01:37:31] And that's the problem.
[01:37:33] And I think a lot of teams run into that where you – excuse me.
[01:37:39] I think Denver is running into that where you have players.
[01:37:44] They're good.
[01:37:44] I think people might want Michael Porter Jr.
[01:37:47] I don't know if they want him at the same dime that Denver has him.
[01:37:51] I think the Lakers ran into that problem after their championship.
[01:37:56] Phoenix luckily got out of their boat and somehow they were able to retool and get Bradley Bill and Kevin Durant.
[01:38:02] But I think Milwaukee might be in that boat to where either you make a change at the coach position now
[01:38:10] and turn it around with the players you have or risk being somewhat irrelevant in the next year
[01:38:18] because you're not going to pay – you're not going to keep paying $50 million, $60 million to your two stars.
[01:38:24] If it's not going to get you to 50 wins.
[01:38:27] So before they fire Doc, before it gets to that point, do you need Chris Middleton to come back first
[01:38:37] so you can see the whole team together I guess?
[01:38:40] Do you have enough tape from last year to now to make you think about it?
[01:38:48] Because if you do, do you just go ahead and pull the trigger?
[01:38:50] I say no.
[01:38:51] I don't think they have any tape that says that you should.
[01:38:55] And this is my –
[01:38:56] Weren't they 30 and 13 when they fired the other coach?
[01:38:59] Yep, Adrian Griffin, yep.
[01:39:01] And they finished.
[01:39:02] They finished like 16 and 17 or something like that.
[01:39:05] They still finished like 14, 15 games behind Boston.
[01:39:08] Yep.
[01:39:09] They ended up in the – were they the five seed?
[01:39:15] No, they were the three seed.
[01:39:17] They played Indiana in the first round.
[01:39:20] I think Indiana was the sixth seed.
[01:39:22] They lost their first round playoff series.
[01:39:26] Well, Giannis missed the series and Dame missed two games.
[01:39:31] So like, you know, can't blame Doc for that I guess.
[01:39:35] But, you know, I think that as I look around the NBA, I feel pretty good about my OKC to the finals pick
[01:39:46] because, you know, they just lost their first game last night to Phoenix.
[01:39:50] But they've been looking good.
[01:39:53] They don't have Hartenstein yet.
[01:39:54] But, you know, I think that SGA is just – you know, I think he might have stepped it up another level.
[01:40:05] You know, Ja Morant looks good.
[01:40:07] He's back.
[01:40:07] I think there's real flow in what they're doing to you.
[01:40:09] Yeah.
[01:40:09] Yeah.
[01:40:10] You know, Ja Morant is back and, you know, making incredible plays.
[01:40:14] You know, Scoot Henderson, jury's still out.
[01:40:20] You know, hasn't been looking good.
[01:40:21] But, hey, the Detroit Pistons, they've already got four wins in their first ten games.
[01:40:28] Four and six.
[01:40:29] You get some veterans out there.
[01:40:31] I know people weren't really big on Anthony Hardaway last year because of his finals performance.
[01:40:37] And then you got, you know, Tobias Harris.
[01:40:39] You still got to factor in –
[01:40:42] Who Hardaway?
[01:40:45] Oh, God, I keep saying it.
[01:40:47] Tim Hardaway Jr.
[01:40:48] I don't want to say Anthony.
[01:40:51] I think I was thinking about some phone posits.
[01:40:54] You know, but, yeah, like, you know, Tobias Harris, you know, has been playing lights out.
[01:41:01] These guys are still 6'8", 6'9", basketball players.
[01:41:04] And it's like they can make impact if you give them an opportunity.
[01:41:08] Especially if you – I know Houston – like we talked about Houston.
[01:41:11] Like I felt Houston had too many expensive veterans, cheap rookies who want to be expensive.
[01:41:19] I think Detroit's done it properly where you have expensive young guys that are coming up
[01:41:25] and you have some veterans that kind of fill in these gaps for you.
[01:41:29] So, I like what they got going on.
[01:41:32] I think Bigger Staff is going to do a great deal there.
[01:41:34] Did you know that there's no rookie averaging 15 points a game?
[01:41:39] Yes.
[01:41:40] You know, I saw Houston go off to 33 last night.
[01:41:44] Well, he went off to 33 last night, you know, but he's still only averaging 12 points a game.
[01:41:51] You know, they were the team that Detroit beat tonight.
[01:41:54] So, you know, there's that.
[01:41:56] But he came off the 33-point game, seven points tonight.
[01:42:02] Because it's luck.
[01:42:05] It's a little bit of skill, but it's not – there's not – and he said it in an interview
[01:42:12] that, you know, he's so used to being like the most athletic guy on the court.
[01:42:17] And then you get to the league and it's like, oh, everybody moves like this.
[01:42:22] So, now it's a matter of like, okay, how do I get – how do I get these shots off?
[01:42:26] Now, you see some of the more experienced guys, like, you know, you got Paul George,
[01:42:30] you got SGA, AD, LeBron, KD, Dane.
[01:42:35] Some of these guys just know how to get their shot.
[01:42:37] Even a guy like Austin Reeves.
[01:42:40] I'm watching him just figure out how to get – how to get in the rhythm, how to get a shot.
[01:42:44] These rookies just have to figure out how to do that.
[01:42:47] A lot of them just kind of ended up on teams where there wasn't an expectation
[01:42:51] for them to come in and do that.
[01:42:54] You know, like some – like when De'Aaron Fox ended up in Sacramento,
[01:42:58] it was like, okay, you are going to be the point guard that we follow.
[01:43:01] Same thing, you know, Tatum ended up with Kyrie, so he got to learn from Kyrie.
[01:43:05] So, it benefited the team going forward.
[01:43:08] Some of these other teams don't have that same luxury.
[01:43:11] And I think some of the rookies are just putting situations where who are you learning from
[01:43:16] and are you learning – you know, are you throwing it to the fire or are you throwing it to the library?
[01:43:22] Yeah, my guy Kula Bali in year two.
[01:43:24] You know, 17 and some change.
[01:43:26] Grady Dick averaging 21.
[01:43:29] You know, as I was looking around, I wanted to ask you this.
[01:43:34] But we had –
[01:43:38] Yeah, I told you he was coming, man.
[01:43:41] But I wanted to ask you.
[01:43:44] We didn't have a chance because he got suspended in between our shows.
[01:43:47] But Joel Embiid, you know, three-game suspension.
[01:43:50] Too much, too little.
[01:43:53] So, is the suspension just for just – like for the shove, the altercation?
[01:43:58] Yes.
[01:44:02] I think they give you one or two when you have an interaction with the player.
[01:44:09] Yeah.
[01:44:09] So, three is probably like –
[01:44:11] Cross the billion.
[01:44:12] So, like ref, reporter, and fan.
[01:44:17] Yeah.
[01:44:17] I think three is probably like a good number.
[01:44:21] I mean, it's hard to suspend somebody.
[01:44:23] I mean, he ain't playing anyway.
[01:44:24] Just gave him more rest.
[01:44:26] Yeah.
[01:44:26] He's plenty of money, so I don't know what –
[01:44:28] More rest that you're going to complain about.
[01:44:30] Yeah.
[01:44:31] You're like, I want to play –
[01:44:32] Here they are.
[01:44:33] Are they going to make the playoffs?
[01:44:35] Nah.
[01:44:36] Because, I mean, they're 1-6 coming into tonight.
[01:44:39] They're 1-6 coming into tonight.
[01:44:42] Maxie's out of the ball.
[01:44:43] We're just playing.
[01:44:44] But you never know.
[01:44:45] The Lakers sometimes –
[01:44:46] Well, Tyrese Maxie is out for the next two weeks with a hamstring.
[01:44:49] These 17-point leads can vanish rather quickly if you give up the three.
[01:44:54] Nick Nurse is a good coach.
[01:44:56] He is.
[01:44:57] It's –
[01:44:58] I was talking about Milwaukee.
[01:45:00] Milwaukee is like they're too long in their – whatever this iteration of success is.
[01:45:08] So, taking the championship you won with Giannis and you're trying to stretch it.
[01:45:15] It's that last little bit of milk and you're trying to stretch it with water and you've got the ketchup.
[01:45:20] It might be time to get – just go back to the grocery store.
[01:45:25] Go get you new stuff.
[01:45:26] Philly – I think Philly's at that point.
[01:45:28] Like, the Paul George signing didn't make a lot of sense to me because, like I said, it doesn't match your timeline.
[01:45:37] Right.
[01:45:38] But the team you have now – you're in win-now mode, but I don't think you have win-now players.
[01:45:45] You're just in this psyche saying you're in win-more, but it's like you don't have the players for that.
[01:45:50] Like, you don't have the team that competes with – right now this year, Cleveland, Boston, OKC.
[01:46:00] Who else?
[01:46:02] Like, who else is one of these teams?
[01:46:04] Like, Phoenix – well, Phoenix and Philly might match up more because stylistically they're a little older.
[01:46:09] They can play a little slower.
[01:46:11] And I think Philly's probably hoping and thinking, like, maybe we can have that kind of a resurrection with our big three.
[01:46:22] It's just the problem.
[01:46:23] Like, I don't know if Paul George fits what they do because I don't know if he's physically capable of carrying a team.
[01:46:31] He's 34 years old.
[01:46:33] Like, he should be on a $12 million a year deal.
[01:46:37] Yeah.
[01:46:38] Not like four times that.
[01:46:40] And, you know, college basketball just started again.
[01:46:44] You know, you got – you know, Kansas beat North Carolina tonight on Tuesday.
[01:46:50] We have the Champions Classic, Kansas against Michigan State, followed by Duke and Kentucky.
[01:46:56] Cooper flag in the big spotlight.
[01:46:59] You know, but, Mr. Logical, the reason that I brought up college basketball –
[01:47:04] Let's hear it.
[01:47:07] You remember how I said Doug Peterson was on borrowed time?
[01:47:13] Yes.
[01:47:14] I have a college basketball coach to add to that list.
[01:47:17] Already?
[01:47:18] Already.
[01:47:19] It's November.
[01:47:21] It's November.
[01:47:24] Kyle Neptune, head coach of Villanova.
[01:47:28] He's the guy that replaced the guy.
[01:47:32] You know, he was one of the – he was chosen, you know, partially chosen by the guy.
[01:47:38] He was the head coach at Fordham.
[01:47:40] He had Fordham turning around up in the Bronx.
[01:47:42] BX stand up.
[01:47:44] And they brought him in.
[01:47:46] This is his third year.
[01:47:48] They didn't make the NCAA tournament in either of his first two years.
[01:47:52] So, Mr. Logical, when you come into the third year and you haven't made the tournament –
[01:47:59] And don't forget now, Jay Bright's last year, they made the Final Four.
[01:48:04] Yeah.
[01:48:04] He's the man doing SIO money.
[01:48:06] Yeah, so no back-to-back NCAA tournaments.
[01:48:09] You know what they did, Mr. Logical.
[01:48:12] Extend them.
[01:48:13] They opened up the season with a 10-point loss to Columbia.
[01:48:20] The Ivy League school?
[01:48:21] Yes.
[01:48:23] Were they running a Princeton offense?
[01:48:27] I mean, those back cuts are dangerous, though.
[01:48:30] They lost by 10 to the Columbia Lions.
[01:48:33] You can lose to Princeton.
[01:48:35] You know what I'm saying?
[01:48:36] Like, you might even get an excuse if you lose to Harvard because, you know,
[01:48:39] they had Tommy Amaker for a lot of years.
[01:48:42] Maybe we'll let you off the hook if you lose to Penn.
[01:48:46] Just because they're in Philly, there's the city rivalry and all that kind of stuff,
[01:48:50] you can't be out here losing to the Columbia Lions.
[01:48:53] You just can't do it.
[01:48:55] You know, because as I look this up real quick, I'm going to ask you a question.
[01:49:01] And this will be our last question before we get out of here.
[01:49:05] Mark.
[01:49:06] You know what I'm saying?
[01:49:08] So the Columbia Lions, you know, the Ivy League school, as you put it.
[01:49:14] When do you think the last year that the Columbia Lions made the NCAA tournament?
[01:49:20] 1948.
[01:49:21] 1948.
[01:49:22] Damn, you harsh.
[01:49:27] Damn.
[01:49:29] 1968.
[01:49:31] That's close.
[01:49:32] Richard Nixon was the president the last time they made the NCAA tournament.
[01:49:39] And Villanova, coming off of two years without making the tournament,
[01:49:42] opened up their season with a loss to that team.
[01:49:46] You know, Texas A&M went down to UCF.
[01:49:49] That was the first ranked team to go down this year.
[01:49:52] You know, so college basketball is in full swing right now, man.
[01:49:56] We got Louisville and Tennessee tomorrow, I believe.
[01:49:59] You know, I mentioned the Champions Classic on Tuesday.
[01:50:03] So, you know, we're here, man.
[01:50:04] We're here.
[01:50:06] You know, I got to get ready.
[01:50:09] You know, like, you know, it's going to be March before we know it.
[01:50:14] March of Madness is crazy.
[01:50:17] I just got to keep an eye on UConn.
[01:50:20] Got to keep an eye on what the next coach is going to be, the next NBA coach.
[01:50:26] Because I think these NBA teams are going to stop recycling these old former NBA coaches
[01:50:33] and start trying to get a more diverse offensive package.
[01:50:39] So, I lied.
[01:50:40] Because I'm not watching the Lakers.
[01:50:42] Lakers are up 13 right now.
[01:50:45] I lied.
[01:50:46] One more question for you.
[01:50:47] One more question?
[01:50:48] All right, let's go.
[01:50:50] SMU football.
[01:50:52] Did you see the quarterback that they signed?
[01:50:58] Like a five-star recruit or something?
[01:51:02] They signed somebody's son.
[01:51:04] That makes us feel old as shit.
[01:51:08] Phillip Rivers.
[01:51:10] Matt Leinert.
[01:51:12] Matt Leinert's kid's a...
[01:51:15] Cole.
[01:51:16] His name is Cole Leinert.
[01:51:18] He's the top quarterback in his class.
[01:51:20] And he's going to SMU.
[01:51:23] I'm not sure.
[01:51:24] I didn't see all that.
[01:51:25] But he's going to SMU, you know.
[01:51:27] So, I just want to say that to say, you know, don't be surprised if SMU is...
[01:51:33] This ain't a fluke.
[01:51:34] You know, like, this year I was down on them.
[01:51:36] I thought that they were a good team.
[01:51:39] But I thought that making the transition from G5 to a power conference, I thought their
[01:51:44] offensive line and defensive...
[01:51:46] You know, their lines would have problems adjusting.
[01:51:48] But, hey, they're undefeated in the ACC.
[01:51:51] We talked about them potentially being a playoff team the other night.
[01:51:57] So, they got that Texas money.
[01:51:59] You know, they paid 30 million...
[01:52:00] They raised $30 million in a week to get to the ACC.
[01:52:04] And they're not even taking the money from the ACC for the first nine years that they're
[01:52:09] in the ACC, the TV money.
[01:52:10] And they still were able to go get Matt Leinert's son.
[01:52:16] Who is also...
[01:52:21] Matt Leinert's son is the older brother to Blake Griffin's kid.
[01:52:28] That's correct.
[01:52:29] Matt Leinert and...
[01:52:31] Same baby mama.
[01:52:32] Same baby mama.
[01:52:33] Who was like...
[01:52:34] I think she was like a volleyball star at USC.
[01:52:37] So, their kids were tall.
[01:52:39] Mm-hmm.
[01:52:40] So, yeah.
[01:52:41] You know, but I'm just saying.
[01:52:42] I just...
[01:52:42] You know, now I'm feeling...
[01:52:43] Basketball.
[01:52:44] Basketball star.
[01:52:45] Now I'm feeling old.
[01:52:47] You know what I mean?
[01:52:48] Like Carmelo's son is going to be starting college next year.
[01:52:51] The Boozer twins.
[01:52:52] But the thing with the Carmelo's son and even Bronny, we've seen them like the whole way.
[01:52:59] It was like...
[01:53:00] Right.
[01:53:00] It's like watching your own kids grow.
[01:53:02] Right.
[01:53:02] But if you sit around and it's like, yeah, Frank Gore's son's in the NFL, you're like,
[01:53:06] what?
[01:53:07] Yo, Bronny about to have these WNBA fans mad.
[01:53:11] You know what I'm saying?
[01:53:13] Because you know that they got the tickets going on in the G League.
[01:53:17] He's got playing his first game tomorrow.
[01:53:19] They're sold out.
[01:53:20] Like, oh, man.
[01:53:22] People gonna go see Bronny.
[01:53:23] Those Caitlin Clark fans, you know, they already probably supporting Texas Tech.
[01:53:27] Seriously, when's the WNBA season starts after the NBA season?
[01:53:33] So it's like, what are they worried about?
[01:53:35] I'm just saying.
[01:53:36] You know what I'm saying?
[01:53:37] Because you know the women talking about...
[01:53:38] You should want them to have an appetite for basketball.
[01:53:41] Well, you know the WNBA is talking about potentially going on strike.
[01:53:46] They definitely need to negotiate a little...
[01:53:49] They need to figure out some kind of way to get the money.
[01:53:52] I don't know if it's a strike.
[01:53:54] Excuse me.
[01:53:55] It might be like an owners, players band together and go to the networks like, yo, let's work out something.
[01:54:04] Like, breaking some kind of bread off.
[01:54:06] And you see Caitlin Clark took my coach because, you know, I don't know if you knew this or not, but, you know, I dedicated myself to being a Connecticut Sun fan.
[01:54:16] You know, because of DeJanae Carrington, you know, DeJanae Carrington.
[01:54:23] But their coach is now the head...
[01:54:25] Stephanie White, she's the head coach of The Fever now.
[01:54:27] So she's going to be Caitlin Clark's new coach.
[01:54:30] I didn't see who the Chicago Sky fired...
[01:54:33] I mean, hired, but I wasn't happy that they fired their coach to begin with.
[01:54:37] But...
[01:54:37] They fired coaches just as rapidly as the NBA.
[01:54:41] So they got that part down.
[01:54:42] We got the new San Francisco franchise coming.
[01:54:47] You know, more expansion to come down the road.
[01:54:50] So the WNBA is in a good place.
[01:54:52] We'll see if they can keep it going.
[01:54:54] You know, college basketball started the other night or other day on Monday, I believe it was.
[01:55:00] It was either Monday or Tuesday.
[01:55:01] I was at the gym.
[01:55:03] You know, I was on the elliptical and I looked up and I saw Juju Watkins with 27 points and 10 rebounds against Ole Miss.
[01:55:11] Yeah, she's a...
[01:55:13] She's the one.
[01:55:15] She's the one.
[01:55:16] She is a grown woman amongst little girls, for sure.
[01:55:20] Yeah, and I think she's just a sophomore, too.
[01:55:21] She was a freshman last year.
[01:55:23] Yeah, she was a true freshman last year.
[01:55:24] Yeah, so...
[01:55:25] And that's like they said that's the three-year rule, yeah.
[01:55:27] Yeah, so yeah, one more year.
[01:55:29] You know, but Paige is coming out this year.
[01:55:31] You know, Hayley Van Liff, you know, be coming out this year.
[01:55:35] You know, so...
[01:55:36] You know, I'm here for it.
[01:55:37] You know, like...
[01:55:38] Some more faces with some talent.
[01:55:40] Like, they're talented basketball players.
[01:55:43] Yeah.
[01:55:44] They look like UCLA, you know, a minute and 50 left.
[01:55:47] They're in the red zone against Iowa, up three.
[01:55:49] So, can they get a big upset here?
[01:55:52] You know, but...
[01:55:53] Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy your weekends.
[01:55:56] Enjoy the sports.
[01:55:57] Enjoy football.
[01:55:58] Enjoy the NBA.
[01:56:00] Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Georgia, Houston, Texans, Detroit Lions, Miami, and the Rams on Monday night.
[01:56:08] Football 49ers are off their bye with CMC Commanders and Steelers.
[01:56:14] We got a lot of football.
[01:56:16] The Falcons going down to the house of horrors.
[01:56:18] And we're going to tear that stuff up.
[01:56:20] You know, you know if the Falcons lose this game, that house of horrors ain't...
[01:56:24] You know, that phrase and terminology ain't going away.
[01:56:30] They're good.
[01:56:31] Get the ball to beat, John.
[01:56:32] Give it to Tyler Ager.
[01:56:33] Yeah.
[01:56:33] Shout out to Michael Thomas when keeping it real goes wrong.
[01:56:37] You know, shout out to Le'Veon Bell, the Trump supporter that out here getting exposed by trans.
[01:56:43] You know what I'm saying?
[01:56:45] Like, you know MAGA don't stand for that.
[01:56:49] You know what I'm saying?
[01:56:51] All right, we're going to get out of here.
[01:56:52] I'm too drunk.
[01:56:53] We'll see you on Monday or Tuesday.
[01:56:56] Tuesday.
[01:56:57] We'll be back Tuesday with some NFL reaction, college football reaction.
[01:57:01] We love you.
[01:57:02] Like, review, subscribe, share, rate.
[01:57:06] Do all the free things.
[01:57:09] Do all the good things.
[01:57:12] And we out.
[01:57:13] Peace.
