[00:00:01] Yes, you are now listening to the sounds of Sports Reports As Ordered. Soon, one day to be brought to you by Liquid Death. Tonight, we're gonna talk about some coaches, you know, Robert Sala got let go. Who's next? We're gonna preview some NFL, preview some college football for you. Let's get the weekend started the right way.
[00:00:29] 2-5, you're an orthodox statistician. Going left so much that you thought I was South Palm. And alongside me, I have the Even Killed. Raised in Texas, born in VA, representing everything new, Jabruz, to the point that he will not listen to anything else in the gym but Bon Jovi.
[00:00:51] He is Mr. Logical. And all he asks of you is do not bring feelings to a fat fight.
[00:00:59] Don't do it.
[00:01:00] And all I ask of you is to like, review, subscribe, share, rate, do all the free things. Do all the good things.
[00:01:12] You're, yes. So, you know, of course, this is my favorite weekend of the year. We got all the big college football games. You know, and when I say big, I mean big. These are like monumental games that are going to tell us about the course of the season.
[00:01:28] But first, you smell what I smell? Because I saw Robert Sala unjustly get fired this week. You know, he was probably going to get fired anyway, but it didn't have to happen now. It didn't have to happen in that manner.
[00:01:44] So we'll go with prematurely.
[00:01:47] Prematurely, you know what I'm saying? Like, nobody likes a one-minute man. You know what I'm saying? But as we look around the NFL, we wanted to have a discussion, as Mr. Logical and I always do, to try to figure out who might be following him out the door.
[00:02:04] Yeah, we're not calling for anybody's jobs, like I said.
[00:02:07] Oh, I am.
[00:02:07] It's a lot riding on, like, someone's employment. No matter how much money they get paid, whatever their profession is, however you feel about it. If you have a family and you're a coach in Minnesota and you get fired, you got to relocate your family from Minnesota to your next job in Arizona. That's a lot. That's a lot of movement, especially when these guys kind of get fired year to year.
[00:02:33] Well, the thing I hate about it is everybody else. Yeah, I hate it for everybody else, like the assistant coaches, you know, like people like that. That's who I feel bad for because, like, even with Robin Sala, we talked about all the money that he's collecting in the next two years. So he'll be fine.
[00:02:50] Yeah, and I'm pretty sure the assistants probably have some kind of notable contracts, but they were probably riding this expectation that I'm riding with this guy.
[00:03:02] We win 10 or 11 games, and now I can leverage that to another job. But now you part of a staff is inevitably going to get replaced because Antonio Pierce filling in as interim coach last year for the Raiders.
[00:03:16] And then how it looks this year, I think it's going to be a very, it's going to be like that recency bias to where Woody Johnson is that he's not going to let however the season pans out and just hire this guy, Jeff, because you got five games in.
[00:03:35] So you got 12 left.
[00:03:37] Well, that's actually one of the things I was going to ask you.
[00:03:40] That was one of the things I was going to ask you, because I know that typically, you know, we don't see a lot of coaches get fired after year one.
[00:03:50] You know, I know it happened to Steve Wilkes and a select few of others.
[00:03:54] But do you think that the Raiders could get so bad that he could be on the hot seat by the end of the year?
[00:04:02] Depends on how hot their potential draft pick is.
[00:04:08] So if you're looking at prematurely the draft next year, you if we go playmaker Travis Hunter.
[00:04:18] You got to be in the top four.
[00:04:21] I imagine.
[00:04:23] I don't see him going five.
[00:04:25] And if he if he's on the board at three, like, say one, two is Carson Beck and Quinn yours.
[00:04:34] Just these teams.
[00:04:37] And then third, you're sitting there in your New England.
[00:04:41] You're like, we already got a quarterback.
[00:04:43] We don't need your door.
[00:04:44] But somebody really wants Travis Hunter.
[00:04:49] And they give you the Bryce Young hole to move for wherever they are.
[00:04:54] Nine to three, seven to three to get Travis Hunter.
[00:04:58] If you're not the Raiders, if the Raiders aren't in one of these positions just organically through wins and losses to get one of these top quarterbacks.
[00:05:09] Then that's going to be the problem, because a no Connell.
[00:05:12] I don't know how many games it can win you.
[00:05:13] Garden of Mitchell.
[00:05:14] I don't know how many games it can win you.
[00:05:15] But if you, you know, fuck around and win six or seven games again, you're seven to ten.
[00:05:23] Now you draft an eight or nine.
[00:05:25] And if you don't and if you move Devontae Adams before now to trade in, it's not like you're going to get like a first round pick.
[00:05:31] You know, you might not even get a second to really deal with.
[00:05:33] Like, I know that's what they're asking for.
[00:05:35] But I think it's like it.
[00:05:37] Best case scenario, if you get the Jets second.
[00:05:42] Maybe they might be willing to move it.
[00:05:44] But you got to package something together if you don't if you don't lose enough to get to two or three.
[00:05:51] But in the same sense, if you're not tanking and you have a coach that's actively trying to win and it's not happening, you're going to look like we really let the players hire a coach.
[00:06:01] And Antonio Pearson, I think he could be gone because it's happened before it.
[00:06:05] Like I said, it happened with Steve Wilkes.
[00:06:06] Frank Wright got fired.
[00:06:09] Who else got fired in their first year and was getting a lot of money?
[00:06:12] I know it's happened in the NBA a couple of times.
[00:06:16] So I can see this.
[00:06:16] I was laughing at the NBA just this last season.
[00:06:19] Oh, Adrian Griffin.
[00:06:20] Yeah.
[00:06:21] He was 30 and 13.
[00:06:22] Yeah.
[00:06:23] So I can see I can see the Raiders moving off from Antonio Pierce.
[00:06:28] I can see Philly moving on from Sirianni.
[00:06:31] I don't know if it's going to be midseason.
[00:06:34] Mainly because the same reason I say because you brought up McDermott.
[00:06:38] That's another name I meant to write down, but I have not.
[00:06:40] But you brought up McDermott early this week.
[00:06:42] And the reason I said no to McDermott is because if you're Buffalo, you're the leadership of Buffalo and you're looking at the other three teams in your division.
[00:06:50] You're like, these guys are kind of discombobulated.
[00:06:53] We had a couple of bad games.
[00:06:54] We can regroup with the the pieces we have in house.
[00:06:59] We can regroup and come out and win more games.
[00:07:02] The pieces that they have in house and the Jets fractured because you that hack it got moved, demoted or something to that effect.
[00:07:12] So I don't know how that's going to affect Aaron Rodgers.
[00:07:15] Then you move up a guy who was also part of the offensive coaching staff.
[00:07:19] Then you move up the defensive coordinator, the head coach.
[00:07:22] Then there's a rumbling that the owner didn't consult the GM before he fired the head coach.
[00:07:27] Right.
[00:07:27] It just seemed like a lot's going on there.
[00:07:29] Tua is probably ready to play.
[00:07:31] Like I'm still I'm still leaning.
[00:07:32] I'm still dying on that hill that they're.
[00:07:37] They're not unwillingness.
[00:07:39] Their willingness to put Tua on the bench and IR and hold him out of games.
[00:07:44] I don't think that's because of his health.
[00:07:47] I think it's the media and public pressure in regards to his health.
[00:07:52] I think if he's if he's ready to go, but they got a couple of games where he can't play anymore.
[00:07:57] And then you got the New England who's like doing whatever.
[00:08:00] So I think I don't think they'll do anything.
[00:08:02] All right.
[00:08:03] So he's in that same boat.
[00:08:04] Well, let's do this then.
[00:08:05] So we'll start with so we'll start with the NFC East.
[00:08:08] You know, obviously, Dan Quinn isn't going anywhere.
[00:08:12] You know, you brought up Sirianni already.
[00:08:14] This is Mike McCarthy's last year of the contract.
[00:08:17] So it could just depend on how they finish.
[00:08:21] You know, it's a tough road in Dallas.
[00:08:24] Yeah.
[00:08:25] Yeah.
[00:08:25] It's tough because, you know, they've looked like crap all season.
[00:08:28] And of course, Micah Parsons is hurt.
[00:08:31] Demarcus Lawrence is hurt.
[00:08:33] Dern Bland.
[00:08:34] Deron Bland should be back this week, maybe.
[00:08:37] So, you know, it's hard to kind of gauge him because you have those type of injuries and you lost two offensive line pieces in the offseason.
[00:08:47] But it's the last year of his contract.
[00:08:49] You pay Dak.
[00:08:50] The lame duck coaches on the Cowboy staff is not a good look for Jerry.
[00:08:59] Because even Mike Zimmer, they brought in his defensive coordinators on a one-year deal.
[00:09:03] Right.
[00:09:03] So it's like, yeah, like you couldn't give anybody a deal.
[00:09:06] So if you look at it from that perspective, I think Mike McCarthy, if his contract doesn't get renewed with Dallas, no matter what the result of this year is, the Jets are going to give him a phone call.
[00:09:21] So definitely they should.
[00:09:23] But I don't know because remember him and Aaron had the whole, you know.
[00:09:27] Oh, yeah.
[00:09:28] I forgot about Aaron.
[00:09:29] And he'll forget about Aaron too.
[00:09:30] Yeah, forget about that.
[00:09:31] Yeah, that ain't happening.
[00:09:32] Aaron's gone too.
[00:09:33] Aaron's gone too.
[00:09:34] I mean, Jerry Jones might really try to bring Belichick in if it goes that route.
[00:09:39] The Belichick thing.
[00:09:41] Okay.
[00:09:42] I can't speak for a 70-year-old man.
[00:09:47] But my boy, Dre, a couple of months ago, probably about, I think you might have seen it too.
[00:09:54] There was a message that was put out through AFPC, the Air Force Personnel Center, of they were trying to bring back people who have retired back on active duty.
[00:10:05] Yeah.
[00:10:06] And I looked at the list of jobs and all the jobs that they were trying to bring people back were like radiology, air traffic control, all these jobs that you can walk from the Air Force straight out the door and get a good job.
[00:10:19] Right.
[00:10:20] Now I'm 43 years old.
[00:10:22] I retired two and a half years ago.
[00:10:24] I have zero desire to put the uniform back on and do the work, especially because I'm still in the building doing contract work.
[00:10:32] So I'm getting my military connection.
[00:10:34] I'm getting my mentorship opportunities.
[00:10:36] I'm getting my leadership opportunities.
[00:10:38] I'm getting my time to converse and congregate with the military members.
[00:10:42] But I don't have the responsibility of being on call tomorrow.
[00:10:46] Bill Belichick is going to get that same thing.
[00:10:48] He's going to get invited to every show where you could talk football.
[00:10:51] He's going to go to every Manny.
[00:10:54] I think he's on the Manny thing.
[00:10:55] I know it might not scratch that same.
[00:10:57] He ain't a fan of Taylor Swift either.
[00:10:59] Yeah.
[00:10:59] So he's like, he's not going to scratch the same itch, but it's going to be enough where I can get enough football throughout my day, throughout my week and still have my time to myself.
[00:11:11] And not to have to deal with the drama that comes with the Dallas Cowboys.
[00:11:15] Especially the Dallas Cowboys.
[00:11:16] Especially when you already got a 20-something-year-old girlfriend.
[00:11:19] Yeah.
[00:11:20] So it's like, I love the point, but it's like, I don't love it enough to put the uniform back on about me.
[00:11:26] I mean...
[00:11:26] Yeah.
[00:11:27] So I think Dayball is safe.
[00:11:28] You know, I think he'll be fine.
[00:11:30] You know, the Giants...
[00:11:31] I don't know if he's safe, though.
[00:11:32] I think the Giants are playing hard.
[00:11:34] You know, they just got that win in Seattle.
[00:11:35] Like, you know, they're in games.
[00:11:38] They're not...
[00:11:38] Like, when you look at their losses, they lost to Washington.
[00:11:41] You know, they didn't have a kicker.
[00:11:43] Washington didn't score a touchdown.
[00:11:45] You know, they lost to Dallas by five on Thursday night.
[00:11:49] You know?
[00:11:50] So the Giants are playing pretty hard.
[00:11:52] They're still boring.
[00:11:53] But I think the Saquon move...
[00:11:56] If Saquon goes on to have, like, a top-tier year...
[00:12:00] Which he will.
[00:12:01] Which he probably will.
[00:12:04] And...
[00:12:05] I mean, he didn't let Saquon go.
[00:12:08] That wasn't his decision.
[00:12:09] But what I'm saying is, I think it could be a clean house.
[00:12:12] Get rid of the GM.
[00:12:14] The GM comes in.
[00:12:16] I want my own guy.
[00:12:17] Get rid of the coach.
[00:12:18] Get rid of the quarterback.
[00:12:18] Get rid of the coach.
[00:12:19] Get rid of the quarterback.
[00:12:21] I want to start anew.
[00:12:23] Because we're seeing it already.
[00:12:26] Doug Peterson came in with...
[00:12:29] Maybe he wouldn't have never wanted Trevor Lawrence.
[00:12:31] You never know.
[00:12:31] But he came in.
[00:12:33] Turned him around.
[00:12:33] And he hasn't improved.
[00:12:35] And now, like, everyone's throwing the heat on him.
[00:12:37] But as we stand there, see Sirianni...
[00:12:39] I think Sirianni is on the hot seat.
[00:12:42] Because...
[00:12:43] He never seems to behave or operate or speak...
[00:12:48] As if any of the faults of his team start with him.
[00:12:54] Maybe he has said it.
[00:12:56] But it doesn't feel like after a loss...
[00:12:59] After a loss, Andy Reid goes to the podium...
[00:13:03] And will say, it starts with me.
[00:13:04] I got to make better calls on 4th and 2.
[00:13:06] I got to give these guys more freedom.
[00:13:08] I got to get these guys better prepared.
[00:13:09] I feel like that happens more often than not...
[00:13:12] With Andy Reid and certain coaches.
[00:13:15] Mike McCarthy, to the extent.
[00:13:17] Sirianni seems to be on that Dougie P.
[00:13:19] And we'll get to Dougie P.
[00:13:20] Well, I was going to say, he's like...
[00:13:21] He reminds me a lot of Staley.
[00:13:23] I'm nice.
[00:13:24] He reminds me a lot of Staley.
[00:13:26] You know?
[00:13:27] But he just had more talent to fuck up with.
[00:13:30] Because, you know, his decision making...
[00:13:32] He's always trying to be the smartest guy in the room.
[00:13:34] Like, against the Falcons.
[00:13:36] You know?
[00:13:36] To throw to Saquon.
[00:13:38] You know?
[00:13:38] Like, I don't have a problem with the play call per se.
[00:13:41] But it's just one and all safe.
[00:13:43] In that situation, you...
[00:13:45] I don't have a problem with the play call either.
[00:13:48] Because you're going...
[00:13:48] Because that's your style.
[00:13:50] Right.
[00:13:50] But in the same sense, somebody else has to be able to come into this side of the headset and say...
[00:13:55] Yo, dog.
[00:13:56] I get that.
[00:13:57] I understand that shit's style.
[00:13:58] Leave that clock.
[00:14:00] But we don't need your style right now.
[00:14:03] Right.
[00:14:03] Like, if you're Mike Tyson and you're a head on points, we know your style's going to knock somebody out.
[00:14:09] But do you need to go in there for the next 90 seconds to throw haymakers and try to knock this guy out?
[00:14:14] You got...
[00:14:15] You won the fight.
[00:14:17] Just stay in the fight.
[00:14:18] Jab, jab.
[00:14:19] Avoid getting hit.
[00:14:20] Boom.
[00:14:20] Keep the pressure on.
[00:14:21] Keep your guard up.
[00:14:22] And it doesn't help.
[00:14:24] It doesn't help.
[00:14:25] But it doesn't help because, you know, they lost both coordinators after the Super Bowl run.
[00:14:30] And then it fell apart last year.
[00:14:32] So now you got new coordinators again.
[00:14:35] And, you know, you don't look improved, you know, especially on defense.
[00:14:38] So with a guy who has a reputation around the league.
[00:14:42] So now it's kind of like, look, man, you got a new staff.
[00:14:46] You fired them.
[00:14:47] You brought in another new staff.
[00:14:49] At some point, it's you.
[00:14:51] The only thing that didn't get replaced is you.
[00:14:53] Right.
[00:14:54] And, you know...
[00:14:55] We paid the wide receivers.
[00:14:56] You got to have that conversation.
[00:14:56] We got the new running back.
[00:14:58] We paid the quarterback.
[00:14:59] We paid...
[00:15:00] I think Lane Johnson got...
[00:15:01] I think Lane Johnson got a $34 million signing bonus.
[00:15:06] Either last year or this year.
[00:15:07] Some kind of way.
[00:15:09] Like, no one's really talked about it.
[00:15:11] But I think he got an extension.
[00:15:13] It's like a one-year $34 million signing bonus.
[00:15:16] And I think Sirianni could be gone even if they make the playoffs.
[00:15:20] And it looks like last year, they don't necessarily got to get blown out.
[00:15:23] But just losing in the first round.
[00:15:26] Molliwop by Tampa Bay.
[00:15:27] Granny was on the road.
[00:15:28] And then what happened, right?
[00:15:30] You just played Tampa two weeks ago.
[00:15:32] And Tampa stomped you again.
[00:15:34] And Tampa doesn't...
[00:15:36] They don't stomp people.
[00:15:37] It's not like...
[00:15:38] It's not like you got stomped by Detroit.
[00:15:41] Right.
[00:15:41] Detroit has the aesthetic that, like, yeah, we go...
[00:15:45] We really, really play ball like that.
[00:15:48] We throw the ball down the field.
[00:15:50] We have Jameson Williams.
[00:15:51] We have the two-headed running back monster.
[00:15:53] We got the shifty guy.
[00:15:54] We got the big running back.
[00:15:55] And they both can make play.
[00:15:57] We're explosive.
[00:15:57] We're explosive at the tight end.
[00:15:58] And so if you lose 28 to 10 to that team, it's all right.
[00:16:04] But if you get...
[00:16:04] Tampa don't even run the ball.
[00:16:06] Tampa don't even try to run the ball.
[00:16:07] They don't run the ball.
[00:16:08] They don't know screens.
[00:16:09] They just like, Baker, what you got?
[00:16:11] We'll throw 37 passes.
[00:16:12] We'll see if we can complete 19 or 22 of them.
[00:16:15] Bet.
[00:16:15] Let's go.
[00:16:16] So I think all the coaches...
[00:16:18] I think all the coaches in the NFC North are good to go.
[00:16:21] None of them have to worry about their job.
[00:16:23] You know, depending on how Chicago ends up.
[00:16:26] But I think, you know, like right now, they're in a good place.
[00:16:30] The thing with Chicago, they need to proudly replace their coach.
[00:16:35] And their wins are going to be fool's go.
[00:16:37] Their wins are going to be a lot like those interim coach wins.
[00:16:41] They're going to get like...
[00:16:42] They're going to get a team.
[00:16:45] They're going to win a couple of games this year because the starter...
[00:16:48] Starting quarterback doesn't play.
[00:16:49] Right.
[00:16:50] They're going to win a couple of games where you're starting...
[00:16:52] Your own quarterback doesn't throw for 100 yards.
[00:16:54] Like, you don't...
[00:16:55] You're not supposed to win an NFL game where your starting quarterback
[00:16:58] doesn't throw for 100 yards.
[00:16:59] But they won a game like that.
[00:17:01] You know, so their record is going to be 9-8.
[00:17:04] And it's going to look like, oh, look what this rookie did.
[00:17:07] But you're going to look at some of the games where it's going to be like,
[00:17:09] oh, yeah, the team had a punt return for a touchdown.
[00:17:12] A muff punt.
[00:17:13] They got covered in the end zone.
[00:17:14] Like, little things like that.
[00:17:16] A couple of the Atlanta wins where it's like...
[00:17:18] You could be 1-4 right now if two things didn't happen.
[00:17:22] But...
[00:17:22] Yeah, and down in the Big Easy, you had a spark when you started.
[00:17:26] But now you're just garbage.
[00:17:27] You know, the Saints.
[00:17:28] They can't try it in the zone.
[00:17:29] It's like...
[00:17:29] They're going to.
[00:17:31] He's been on the hot seat since he took the job.
[00:17:33] Like, we were surprised that he was even there to start this season.
[00:17:37] Does he get a pass?
[00:17:39] Well, because the division is winnable.
[00:17:41] Well, the problem is...
[00:17:42] And it started out like the division was winnable.
[00:17:44] And, like, nobody else in the division made a...
[00:17:46] Like, if Carolina would have made a real move and gotten substantially better...
[00:17:53] I'll give you that.
[00:17:54] Atlanta made a move with Kirk Cousins, but he's coming off an injury.
[00:17:58] And then Tampa Bay kind of ran it back with the same squad.
[00:18:02] So, if I'm the New Orleans organization, I'm like, well, it's not like we're competing with a new improved...
[00:18:09] Like, our division.
[00:18:09] Because, like, that's the first thing you got to worry about.
[00:18:11] Can we win our division?
[00:18:13] Okay.
[00:18:13] You win your division.
[00:18:15] 9-10 wins.
[00:18:17] You get a home playoff game.
[00:18:19] You do what Tampa Bay did last year.
[00:18:21] So...
[00:18:21] But if they would have made, like, some moves...
[00:18:23] Like, if they would have...
[00:18:25] If somebody would have...
[00:18:26] If Carolina would have made, like, a Justin Jefferson trade and gotten, like, substantially better...
[00:18:32] If Atlanta would have done better in the draft or was like, man, we might be behind the eight ball...
[00:18:37] I would have seen, like, a situation with Dennis Allen to fire it.
[00:18:41] But with losing his quarterback for the next three weeks, I think he'll be fine.
[00:18:45] The next few weeks.
[00:18:46] I think they've been wanting him gone and he's going to be gone.
[00:18:50] You know?
[00:18:51] And then I think the rest of the coaches in that division are fine.
[00:18:54] You know, Todd Bowles isn't going anywhere.
[00:18:56] You know, Raheem...
[00:18:56] You never know with Carolina, though.
[00:18:58] Yeah, this is year one for Raheem.
[00:19:00] This is year one for Canales.
[00:19:02] You know?
[00:19:02] Out in the West.
[00:19:03] You know, I'm always nervous that Sean McVay is going to take his ball and go home.
[00:19:10] You know?
[00:19:10] I don't think he's going to get fired, obviously.
[00:19:13] You know?
[00:19:13] And they have a lot of injury.
[00:19:15] You know?
[00:19:15] And, like, not just injury, but they lost major cogs.
[00:19:19] You know?
[00:19:19] Both receivers.
[00:19:21] You know?
[00:19:21] Offensive linemen.
[00:19:22] Like, just some of the worst injuries that you could have on a team that is so timing-reliant.
[00:19:28] The guys who catch my slant routes and the guys who block the defensive end so I can get
[00:19:33] the slant right off are all gone.
[00:19:34] Yeah.
[00:19:35] Yeah.
[00:19:35] So he's fine.
[00:19:37] You know?
[00:19:38] Gannon looks like he has Arizona, you know, being feisty out there.
[00:19:42] Viable.
[00:19:42] Yeah.
[00:19:43] Yeah.
[00:19:43] So he'll be fine.
[00:19:44] I don't think Shannon...
[00:19:45] As long as he doesn't give me more speeches, he's good.
[00:19:47] Yeah.
[00:19:47] And Mike McDonald, this is his first year.
[00:19:49] So, you know, he'll be fine.
[00:19:50] Yeah, he's pretty solid.
[00:19:50] He's locked in.
[00:19:51] You know?
[00:19:52] But with that being said, I'm going to put trade watch on DK Metcalf.
[00:19:57] Okay.
[00:19:57] Okay.
[00:19:58] I just have, like, a feeling that...
[00:20:01] Hey, Grubb, throw it past the sticks, please.
[00:20:03] Like, when he was wearing it.
[00:20:05] Because, like, I was driving down to VA last night to pick my pops up.
[00:20:08] He's downstairs watching, you know, what he's watching on FUBU.
[00:20:11] So maybe I'll get him to come up.
[00:20:14] Nah, but he's chilling.
[00:20:15] He doesn't like walking upstairs anyway.
[00:20:16] So I was driving down to VA and I was watching a game on my phone.
[00:20:22] And I like having the games on sometimes.
[00:20:25] But I end up looking at the play.
[00:20:27] And now I'm in the other lane.
[00:20:28] So, like, you know what?
[00:20:29] I watched for a couple minutes.
[00:20:30] I stopped.
[00:20:31] I grabbed some Hardee's slash Carl's Jr.
[00:20:33] Depends on the whole part of the country you're in.
[00:20:35] Watch a little bit of it.
[00:20:36] Roy Rogers.
[00:20:37] You know what I'm saying?
[00:20:38] So then when he was in a headset, it was as if whatever message he was getting after that first drive.
[00:20:45] This is the first drive.
[00:20:46] It was like, I'm not trying to hear that shit.
[00:20:49] And, like, he ripped the headset off.
[00:20:51] And I was like...
[00:20:51] Well, that's what I was talking about.
[00:20:53] He put the headset on and got on with the offensive coordinator.
[00:20:55] And he goes, hey, Grubb, throw it past the sticks, please.
[00:20:59] Oh, that's what he said?
[00:21:00] Yeah, that's what he said.
[00:21:01] And, you know, so he's...
[00:21:03] You know, I don't know, though.
[00:21:04] Like, I think that it's year one of a new system.
[00:21:07] I don't trust the quarterback to begin with, even though he passes for a lot of yards.
[00:21:12] But, you know, I don't know if I would trade him just yet.
[00:21:15] You know, because...
[00:21:16] I mean, obviously, Jackson Smith and Jay was probably the future.
[00:21:20] You know, Tyler Lockett's getting up there in age now.
[00:21:22] So, I would trade him before Devontae sets a trade market at third round for a disgruntled top wide receiver.
[00:21:29] Okay.
[00:21:30] I can buy that, you know.
[00:21:31] Not because I don't like DK, but I figure, like...
[00:21:35] I'm just looking at it from a relationship standpoint.
[00:21:38] I don't know what else you have going on in Seattle that can turn that around.
[00:21:44] A bad couple of weeks passing the ball in Kansas City.
[00:21:47] I know you got Andy Reid, Matt Nagy, Patrick Mahomes, Kelsey.
[00:21:53] And if you're a wide receiver.
[00:21:54] I know, like, those four guys can talk to a disgruntled wide receiver and say,
[00:22:00] Listen, this is what we're going to do to get you open.
[00:22:04] Travis, listen, I'm going to run more of these routes to eat the safety.
[00:22:08] You just got to get here, but you got to catch it when it gets...
[00:22:11] I can see that conversation happening with, like, even if Juju was still a top guy or she writes there or even worthy.
[00:22:18] I can see those four guys really getting together and saying, Hey, this is how we're going to get you more yards.
[00:22:24] Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase.
[00:22:26] Joe Burrow's like, Listen, man, we've been doing this since 2019.
[00:22:30] This is what we do.
[00:22:32] I got you.
[00:22:33] Just, you know the plays.
[00:22:34] You know when I tap my helmet.
[00:22:36] I want you to do this.
[00:22:37] I got you.
[00:22:38] I'm going to feed you the ball.
[00:22:40] I'm going to make sure you're happy.
[00:22:41] Fuck them not give you the check.
[00:22:43] I'm going to make sure you're good.
[00:22:44] I don't know if Seattle has that same thing.
[00:22:46] The coach is safe, but it might be a situation where they might entertain that.
[00:22:51] How bad does New England have to be to fire one of their own in year one?
[00:22:57] Nah, I don't think...
[00:22:58] Because the...
[00:23:02] Because they've already punched four of that situation.
[00:23:04] The blame can be placed at the feet of Bill Belichick, who's already kind of a...
[00:23:11] I'm trying to find the right word.
[00:23:14] There's already like a beef with him and...
[00:23:16] Between him and Robert Kraft.
[00:23:19] So, Robert Kraft can keep Gerard Mayo around, or Robert Kraft Jr., I guess is the son who's calling the shots.
[00:23:29] Because the...
[00:23:30] You can lay the blame at the feet of Bill Belichick for leaving a cupboard bare.
[00:23:35] And you give Gerard Mayo two years to figure it out.
[00:23:38] The whole not playing Drake made because the offensive line isn't ready just doesn't...
[00:23:43] Like, if that's a real narrative, if that's a real talking point inside the building,
[00:23:50] then I'm concerned about the whole coaching staff.
[00:23:53] Well, like for me...
[00:23:53] Because you're still putting people out there.
[00:23:55] You're still putting either a bad line out there...
[00:23:57] Well, for me, that wasn't even...
[00:23:59] Or you're putting Ryder's tears out there.
[00:23:59] For me, that wasn't even the problem.
[00:24:01] For me, the problem was...
[00:24:02] That's what I'm saying.
[00:24:02] That's why I don't believe...
[00:24:03] That's why I don't buy it.
[00:24:04] I don't buy that narrative.
[00:24:05] Well, for me, the problem was, you know...
[00:24:07] Because, you know, I think that each situation is an individual situation.
[00:24:11] I don't think there's a one-size-fits-all.
[00:24:14] All quarterbacks must sit.
[00:24:16] All quarterbacks must play.
[00:24:18] Each situation is different.
[00:24:19] Each player is different.
[00:24:20] But when you're going to do that, if you're going to be a team like New England,
[00:24:23] the problem is they were trying to have their cake and eat it, too.
[00:24:26] Because you could have went and got a Joe Flacco or a Janus or somebody along those lines
[00:24:30] who have actually led teams who can...
[00:24:33] You know, regardless of the result, they led teams.
[00:24:36] Jacoby Brissette ain't led nothing.
[00:24:38] So, like...
[00:24:39] How about having Jacoby there?
[00:24:41] They brought Jacoby there because he was a patriot.
[00:24:44] That's why they brought Jacoby there.
[00:24:45] But sometimes familiarity is good.
[00:24:51] But are they running the same systems and all that stuff?
[00:24:54] Like, you know what I mean?
[00:24:55] My issue isn't Jacoby being there.
[00:24:57] My issue is this narrative that came out that the reason they're not playing Drake May
[00:25:01] is because the line wasn't ready.
[00:25:03] I'm like, so you put somebody else out there?
[00:25:05] Well, remember...
[00:25:08] When training camp started, the original comment from Jared Mayo
[00:25:12] was that Drake wasn't ready.
[00:25:15] He said that Drake May wasn't ready.
[00:25:18] This was before we knew how bad the line was.
[00:25:21] These guys need media training.
[00:25:22] They need swag and media...
[00:25:24] Because, like...
[00:25:25] Have you ever heard Deion Sanders say somebody wasn't ready?
[00:25:28] That he relied on?
[00:25:30] Nah, you know what I'm saying?
[00:25:31] But Deion read all that bull junk.
[00:25:34] You know what I'm saying?
[00:25:35] But, like, I think that...
[00:25:36] Bill Belichick never went out there and said,
[00:25:38] hey, my linebacker and core is not ready to make tackles in open space.
[00:25:41] It just doesn't make any sense.
[00:25:43] It doesn't make any sense for a coach to come out and say that.
[00:25:46] So, I think the naive nature of him as a head coach
[00:25:53] would hurt him if he was from another organization.
[00:25:56] But because he's a patriot,
[00:25:58] there's going to be an expectation that he has this intrinsic patriot value.
[00:26:04] Especially since he came up with a fellow check.
[00:26:06] You know what I mean?
[00:26:07] And that's why I had a problem in the first place.
[00:26:10] Because for me, and, you know, just me,
[00:26:12] I'm like, divorce yourself from everything Belichick.
[00:26:15] You know what I'm saying?
[00:26:16] It's a new era.
[00:26:17] It's time to start over.
[00:26:18] I mean, he took down the do-your-job signs
[00:26:21] and came up with something else.
[00:26:22] And I get that.
[00:26:23] That doesn't seem like a big deal.
[00:26:25] We don't buy it.
[00:26:26] The fact that you had to do that and the fact that that was like news
[00:26:30] is evident that the higher, I didn't think the higher made sense
[00:26:37] because of my old preference.
[00:26:39] I don't want to be the guy that follows the legend.
[00:26:42] Right.
[00:26:42] I want to be the guy that follows the guy that followed the legend.
[00:26:46] But because Belichick was so poor for the last few years,
[00:26:51] there should have been,
[00:26:53] they don't have any player on their team in the skill position
[00:26:57] that we thought about from either college or in the league
[00:27:02] as an elite person at that position.
[00:27:05] Right.
[00:27:06] It's like whatever they were doing to get Ayuk,
[00:27:08] they should have went harder.
[00:27:10] Like you don't have the leverage of being, oh,
[00:27:14] showing people the helmet and be like, yo, Patriots.
[00:27:17] You don't have that anymore.
[00:27:19] You got to go, you got to go a little Chicago, Carolina with it
[00:27:22] and kind of mortgage maybe a year at a couple of positions
[00:27:26] to make these things happen.
[00:27:28] Yeah.
[00:27:28] And then, you know, Mike McDaniel should be safe,
[00:27:32] but I think next year his clock starts
[00:27:33] if they don't want to play off game this year.
[00:27:36] I think his clock is on right now.
[00:27:40] Especially if Tua is, for whatever reason,
[00:27:52] forced to medically retire.
[00:27:53] I think they owe him like over $100 million
[00:27:55] per like the NFL PA and the CBA.
[00:28:00] I don't know if the Miami Brass gives McDaniels
[00:28:05] another quarterback to mold.
[00:28:09] I mean, you could be right about that,
[00:28:10] but it's obviously not his fault.
[00:28:12] You know what I mean?
[00:28:13] But you could be right about that, just how the business works.
[00:28:16] Yeah, it's like, you know what?
[00:28:17] That's how I feel about McDermott.
[00:28:19] That's how I feel about McDermott.
[00:28:20] You know, this is year eight.
[00:28:22] You know, and I mean, especially McDermott.
[00:28:25] McDermott is going to benefit because there's chaos around.
[00:28:27] Better not lose to the Chiefs again in the playoffs.
[00:28:29] That's all I got to say about that.
[00:28:31] But, you know, and then, you know, the Jets are obviously,
[00:28:35] you know, we'll see what they do with their interim.
[00:28:37] You know, down in the north, you know what I mean?
[00:28:39] Like, I think most of the coaches there are fine.
[00:28:42] I think it might be, depending on how the season goes,
[00:28:45] if it goes the way that I think it's going to go,
[00:28:47] I think it could be time for Tomlin and the Steelers to just break up.
[00:28:53] I think it's just time to break up.
[00:28:55] I think it'll be a part-way situation.
[00:28:56] Yeah, like even if they go down.
[00:28:59] And I love Mike Tomlin.
[00:29:01] And I don't mean it in a negative way.
[00:29:02] Like, I don't mean it like, yo, Mike Tomlin, your Tom's up
[00:29:04] or anything like that.
[00:29:06] I just think that they've reached a point where they've outgrown each other.
[00:29:09] Something's not meshing.
[00:29:11] Yeah.
[00:29:12] The draft picks that they get, I think they hit on linemen, linebackers.
[00:29:21] I think their free agent.
[00:29:24] Their free agent, corner, like defensive back moves.
[00:29:28] I think those hit.
[00:29:31] The running back has been spotty.
[00:29:33] Najee Harris is just big.
[00:29:35] He's just a wall that runs into another wall.
[00:29:39] He should be doing, I know he ran for 1,000 yards last year.
[00:29:44] But he should, it should be, it should feel,
[00:29:46] you should feel like Derrick Henry is wearing 22 coming at you
[00:29:50] when you see Najee Harris.
[00:29:52] And it feels a lot like DeAndre Swift.
[00:29:55] It feels like the current version of Zeke.
[00:29:58] Yeah.
[00:29:58] It's like, you should look across the, you should, if you're a linebacker
[00:30:02] and the guy who's about to get the ball is your size,
[00:30:07] you should feel like this isn't going to go well for me.
[00:30:11] But he doesn't hit the hole effectively enough to the point where he's
[00:30:14] bouncing off of his own offensive linemen.
[00:30:16] And you come in and make a good tackle.
[00:30:18] You look like you made a great tackle.
[00:30:19] But really, he just didn't come.
[00:30:21] He should make his cut and be in a hole.
[00:30:23] So I think some of the offensive skill players that Tomlin has drafted,
[00:30:28] signed off on drafting, agreed to drafting, ran into coaching.
[00:30:32] I think those, the lack of production from those positions is going to hurt him.
[00:30:37] Kenny Pickens.
[00:30:38] George Pickens is out here lost like Q.
[00:30:40] Where Q at?
[00:30:41] You know what I'm saying?
[00:30:42] And then, you know, I think Stefanski is fine,
[00:30:46] even though Cleveland's falling apart.
[00:30:47] You know, like you can't take last year away.
[00:30:50] You know, Cincinnati, depending on how that goes,
[00:30:54] like I think Zach Taylor is fine, but they're one and four now.
[00:30:58] You know, they keep losing these close games.
[00:31:00] So let's just hypothetically say the Bengals finish six and 11.
[00:31:05] You know, like that could be troublesome.
[00:31:08] You know, I don't think that's going to happen.
[00:31:10] I think they'll get to seven because their schedule eases up.
[00:31:12] They get the Giants this weekend, Cleveland next weekend.
[00:31:15] So you might start to see the Bengals string some wins together,
[00:31:19] but now it's going to be coming down to those games like Philadelphia.
[00:31:23] Every week, every, every week is, you know, it's a challenge.
[00:31:26] So even if they try to go on a run,
[00:31:30] it's still going to be that game and never leave where you like.
[00:31:32] Well, they're the reverse of the Steelers.
[00:31:34] You lose 15 to 12 just because it's just one of those games.
[00:31:41] Well, the Bengals are the reverse of the Steelers.
[00:31:43] Like the Steelers offense gets stuck and every game is going to be 16 to 13,
[00:31:50] so on and so forth.
[00:31:51] Whereas the Bengals have the other problem.
[00:31:52] They can't stop anybody.
[00:31:54] So even a team that they should beat,
[00:31:56] they might lose 30 to 28 just because they can't stop anybody.
[00:31:59] And the thing about it, they were, they were corralling the Chiefs.
[00:32:04] Patrick Mahomes couldn't do anything against Cincinnati.
[00:32:07] That was this year.
[00:32:09] It wasn't like it was the last season.
[00:32:10] That was the last month.
[00:32:14] It was October 11th.
[00:32:16] A month ago, I was like, damn,
[00:32:18] they really about to just give Kansas City this L.
[00:32:20] And it was like, nah.
[00:32:22] And they be giving up.
[00:32:23] Jane Day was out there like it was LSU versus SMU.
[00:32:28] Know what I mean?
[00:32:29] Yeah.
[00:32:30] I think everybody in the South is fine minus Doug Peterson.
[00:32:35] Doug Peterson is going to be out of there, especially if they lose this weekend.
[00:32:40] They're going to be sitting at one and five.
[00:32:43] There ain't much justification.
[00:32:45] I mean, you could say what you want about Trevor Lawrence.
[00:32:48] But, you know, being one in five with the guy that was drafted to be your franchise and where we are.
[00:32:55] Like if this was year two.
[00:32:57] Okay.
[00:32:57] Year three, maybe.
[00:32:58] You know, but we're five years in almost six years in.
[00:33:02] And I remember early this year when you were bringing that up, my argument to counter your point was they just gave Trevor this contract.
[00:33:10] Do you really want to start over?
[00:33:13] But if you think to you think it just depends on where you get your new coach from.
[00:33:18] A healthy two and Mike McDaniel were a formidable opponent.
[00:33:22] As long as it wasn't December or January.
[00:33:24] As long as it wasn't less than 48 degrees.
[00:33:26] But, you know, 49 and up.
[00:33:28] They was like I think it was like 51 and up.
[00:33:31] Two was balling.
[00:33:32] It was balling.
[00:33:34] That chilly breeze came.
[00:33:35] Here we go.
[00:33:37] We're halfway there.
[00:33:39] We got Dodgers Mets coming up.
[00:33:41] You know, like can we get Dodgers Yankees like everybody else in America but me once?
[00:33:47] Listen, I'll take Mets Yankees.
[00:33:50] I don't want that either.
[00:33:51] Alex, I'll take Dodgers Yankees over Mets and Yankees.
[00:33:55] I'll take Mets Yankees just so I can get all the games in the city.
[00:33:59] So if I do want to go to the city, it's the games there and one of either in Flushing or in the Bronx.
[00:34:06] So like I've never been to Flushing.
[00:34:07] I've been to a couple of games in Yankee Stadium.
[00:34:09] I know how to get there.
[00:34:10] Can I ask you a quick question real quick?
[00:34:12] What's up?
[00:34:13] How do you hold the ball for 13 minutes and 28 seconds of a quarter and score three points?
[00:34:21] Because your quarterback is afraid to throw the ball in the end zone.
[00:34:25] You know what I'm saying?
[00:34:25] So Maryland was down 17-0.
[00:34:27] Starting the fourth quarter, 17-10 Northwestern.
[00:34:31] Utes and Sun Devils just started.
[00:34:33] All right.
[00:34:34] So, you know, then finish it off with the AFC West.
[00:34:37] You know, I think everybody's safe there.
[00:34:41] Except for maybe Pierce.
[00:34:42] We talked about that already, though.
[00:34:44] I don't know what his deal is as far as like his money.
[00:34:49] But I do know the math that if you are a billionaire, that is $1,000 million checks.
[00:34:57] So, if Antonio Pierce is owed $50 million and Mark Davis has a billion dollars, he still will have $950 million checks if he gave Antonio Pierce 50.
[00:35:16] So, I don't think it's going to hurt him that much if he had to break him all $50 million.
[00:35:22] Especially if they're done paying Gruden.
[00:35:23] If they're done paying Gruden, then I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind firing him.
[00:35:27] Because it's like, it's the same thing that the Jets are going to go through.
[00:35:30] It was like, don't hire this guy no matter how he finishes the year.
[00:35:34] Don't hire him.
[00:35:35] They gave him three years, but I can't find the money.
[00:35:39] Pierce only got three years?
[00:35:40] Yeah.
[00:35:41] Oh, yeah.
[00:35:41] He don't have long then.
[00:35:43] Yeah.
[00:35:46] All right.
[00:35:47] Well, let's get to it, Mr. Logical.
[00:35:48] You know, I know you got to get up out of here soon.
[00:35:50] So, let's just hit it and go.
[00:35:52] This is show and prove.
[00:35:54] Show and prove means Jaden Daniels, it's time.
[00:35:58] You're going up against the guy that everybody's comparing you to.
[00:36:01] You got people like 2-5 talking about you're going to be the quarterback that Lamar Jackson is supposed to be.
[00:36:07] You know, so here we are, Mr. Logical.
[00:36:13] Can Washington go into my hometown?
[00:36:17] And put the Ravens in their place.
[00:36:19] Probably not.
[00:36:20] Even though they play like 35 minutes apart or something like that.
[00:36:25] It's not the toughest road game as far as travel.
[00:36:29] I just go back to the play when Lamar fumbled the snap, got up, stiff-armed the defensive lineman, grown man two times in the face, and threw a touchdown.
[00:36:38] And had that man dropped his knees on the sideline is a sign that Lamar saw that.
[00:36:44] But, Lamar, like I equate it to this.
[00:36:47] You know how if back in the day, long, long, long time ago we was in these streets, and you go out, and you see a bad chick by the bar.
[00:36:56] And your boys is like amping you up because you tried to holler at another girl earlier, and she played you.
[00:37:02] And you see a bad chick, and you go over there, and you get at her, and she's feeling you.
[00:37:05] And then everybody's coming around seeing you at the bar with this baddie.
[00:37:09] And you're like, oh, yeah.
[00:37:11] I'm back.
[00:37:12] Like, I thought I lost it because I was getting played earlier.
[00:37:15] My boys was clowning me.
[00:37:16] Now I'm back at the bar.
[00:37:17] She's laughing at my jokes, hand on my chest.
[00:37:20] Buy me drinks.
[00:37:21] Whatever it is, and you feel like, you know what, that's the moment you snap back into it.
[00:37:26] That play said, Lamar was like, I'm that.
[00:37:29] I'm the guy that you create on video games.
[00:37:33] I did that in real life.
[00:37:35] This grown man just dropped to his knees eight yards in front away from me.
[00:37:40] The chain gang is giving me high fives on the sideline.
[00:37:43] Like, I'm it.
[00:37:44] And James Daniels probably feels the same way Lamar was on that trajectory.
[00:37:49] But Lamar was like, listen, man, I get it.
[00:37:52] But what you're doing, I've done times 10.
[00:37:56] So I'm going to go with Baltimore because I think they got their swag back.
[00:38:00] I think Cincinnati is falling apart.
[00:38:02] I think Cleveland is falling apart.
[00:38:03] I think Pittsburgh is going to kind of come back to the mean, as you like to say.
[00:38:08] Pittsburgh is a 9-18.
[00:38:10] I got Baltimore as your 12-win team as the season goes on.
[00:38:15] And I think it's because, like I said, when they ran the ball, with Derrick Henry's stiff arm,
[00:38:21] old boy from the Cowboys, and just kept running.
[00:38:24] Like, you just hit a grown man who gets paid to tackle people.
[00:38:28] You slapped him like a child in front of people.
[00:38:30] His family was probably there.
[00:38:31] It was on national TV.
[00:38:32] And he just pushed him into the ground.
[00:38:34] And then the following week, Lamar's stiff arm in the hell.
[00:38:37] Hubbard terrorized Patrick Mahomes all game long.
[00:38:41] You can imagine his confidence level after that.
[00:38:43] And then he sees Lamar throw that touchdown.
[00:38:47] I'm like, no, three weeks ago, you terrorized the GOAT.
[00:38:51] And then you saw what Lamar just did to you.
[00:38:53] He just dropped to your knees.
[00:38:54] Yeah, Baltimore is going to be on a different level for the next few weeks.
[00:38:57] Yeah, I think, you know, this is the matchup between the number one
[00:39:00] and number two offense in the NFL.
[00:39:03] You know, neither quarterback really turns it over so far this season.
[00:39:06] You know, Jaden Daniels has been rookie in a week four out of the first five weeks of the season.
[00:39:11] You know, Baltimore, I came into the season and I said that my concern was their offensive line
[00:39:17] and their secondary.
[00:39:18] You know, the offensive line looks to be coming together.
[00:39:21] They averaged 211 rushing yards per game.
[00:39:24] I think Washington will give them a stiff test against the run, but I think it's going to be heartbreak.
[00:39:31] You know, I'm definitely taking the over, but I can see.
[00:39:36] The score is going to be 34-28.
[00:39:38] Yeah, I was thinking 38-35.
[00:39:40] You know what I'm saying?
[00:39:41] I think Tucker is going to come save the day unless Baltimore can run the ball,
[00:39:46] and if they can, they're just going to take the air out the ball.
[00:39:48] You know, give me Philly, you know, over Cleveland.
[00:39:52] You know, coming off the bye week, Deshaun Watson with his 8.6 quarterback ratings
[00:39:57] and things like that.
[00:39:59] He has more court settlements than touchdowns since he's been the quarterback of the Browns.
[00:40:06] God, that's so disrespectful.
[00:40:08] It's true, though.
[00:40:09] I didn't make it up.
[00:40:10] That's what I'm saying.
[00:40:11] It's so disrespectful.
[00:40:12] I'm going through it.
[00:40:13] You know, but in the last 23 games, keep your eye out,
[00:40:17] because if there is an upset to be had in the NFL this week, this might be it,
[00:40:21] just because I know Jalen Hurts is getting his guys back,
[00:40:24] but in the last 23 games, he has 28 turnovers in Philadelphia's 13-10.
[00:40:32] So just keep your eyes on that.
[00:40:36] Yeah, I'm sorry to leave it, Cleveland, but I want –
[00:40:40] because you got Njoku back.
[00:40:42] They just don't run the ball well.
[00:40:44] Like, I heard a stat last week with Kareem Hunt and all those years that he was playing in Cleveland
[00:40:48] and never had a 100-yard game.
[00:40:49] I know you have Nick Chubb, but it's like just something about Cleveland when it comes to just expectations.
[00:41:00] When they have expectations, like the year after Baker won the playoff game in Pittsburgh,
[00:41:05] the bottom just falls out.
[00:41:07] And I don't know if that's a Sosfansky thing or if it's the pressure of the Browns thing
[00:41:12] or if it's like this expectation or the pressure that players put on themselves to try to get over the hump.
[00:41:17] And I don't know what's going on with Deshaun Watson.
[00:41:19] I don't know if it's frustration with the play calling.
[00:41:21] I don't know if he doesn't like the system.
[00:41:24] But when he walked off the field with the 12-minute huddle, I know the video makes it seem like he just quit.
[00:41:29] But it's like –
[00:41:29] Yeah, that's what everybody kept saying.
[00:41:30] Deshaun Watson quits.
[00:41:32] Like, no, they had just burned a timeout a few plays earlier.
[00:41:35] They had 12.
[00:41:36] 12-minute huddle.
[00:41:37] And he's like, I can't even get in the huddle, so I can't even send the guy off.
[00:41:41] And if you send in 12 guys, you're not organized.
[00:41:44] And he's like, just kick the field goal.
[00:41:46] Right.
[00:41:46] It would have been better if he just would have walked over there like, yo, we got 12 guys.
[00:41:49] Let's just kick it.
[00:41:51] Take the delay of game.
[00:41:52] Kick the field goal.
[00:41:53] Let's get points.
[00:41:54] We'll get back at it later.
[00:41:55] Where's the iPad?
[00:41:56] What a tablet so I can see what's going on.
[00:41:58] So I'm going to take Philly also because I think Philly just – you keep it simple and win.
[00:42:02] I think Baltimore and Washington is going to be the game of the week.
[00:42:05] But the game that the media is going to try to sell as the game of the week at some point is going to be Dallas and Detroit.
[00:42:13] So, you know, we remember the game from last year.
[00:42:16] Dan Campbell with the two-point conversion attempts after two-point conversion attempts.
[00:42:21] I like the second one.
[00:42:23] You know, I like this matchup for Detroit.
[00:42:26] So last week, remember, or a couple weeks ago, we were talking about, hey, certain teams just win these games.
[00:42:32] Dallas just wins these games.
[00:42:34] It's the games that you expect Dallas to compete in that they lose.
[00:42:38] So, you know, I think Detroit's just going to be too hard to block.
[00:42:42] I think that, you know, C.D. Lamb, you know, hasn't gotten loose yet.
[00:42:48] You know, two touchdowns, only five catches per game.
[00:42:51] You know, I just think Detroit's too good.
[00:42:54] They're coming off the bye week.
[00:42:56] And, you know, I think that they're coming in looking for revenge because I think that that game last year went a long way to keeping Detroit from getting home field advantage.
[00:43:05] Yeah, it definitely messed up the flow.
[00:43:08] That's why I said I was glad he went for two because I was like, I think they were already kind of locked in to where their seed was.
[00:43:16] I think they couldn't go up, right?
[00:43:18] No, no, not yet.
[00:43:19] No, that didn't happen yet.
[00:43:21] But, yeah, because they didn't have the tiebreaker, so they would have still needed help.
[00:43:26] But they were still in position.
[00:43:29] But I'm going with Detroit, though.
[00:43:33] And it's at Jerry World.
[00:43:36] Yeah, and that was the other thing that made me pause.
[00:43:38] Dallas just can't run the ball.
[00:43:40] They can't control the clock.
[00:43:42] They got to rely on big plays.
[00:43:43] If you can't control the clock, you got to rely on big plays because Aiden Hutchinson is going to come around the corner.
[00:43:49] Anzalone is going to play the middle crazy.
[00:43:51] So I think their back end is good.
[00:43:54] Terry and Arnold just don't get a pass interference this game.
[00:43:57] I think you'll be fine on CeeDee Lamb.
[00:44:01] Yeah.
[00:44:03] Well, this is hard for me because, you know, we know how Dallas performed at home last year.
[00:44:09] They've already lost their first two home games.
[00:44:12] So it was one of those things where I was in my own head, like, can they really lose their first three games?
[00:44:18] They don't run the ball well.
[00:44:20] I know.
[00:44:20] I know.
[00:44:21] They don't run it effectively.
[00:44:22] They don't run it often enough.
[00:44:23] They don't have – it's like with Baltimore when you're talking about running the ball.
[00:44:28] Yeah, you can turn around and give it to Derrick Henry.
[00:44:30] So it was like, yeah, run the ball.
[00:44:32] San Francisco, you have a great scheme.
[00:44:34] Run the ball.
[00:44:35] Even Seattle last night, you go through 52 passes.
[00:44:39] It's like, yo, run the ball.
[00:44:40] You have talent at the position.
[00:44:43] I don't think Dallas does.
[00:44:45] So, like I said, you got to win with big plays, and Detroit is more of a big play threat than you are.
[00:44:50] Facts.
[00:44:51] And then Jacksonville is going to their home away from home.
[00:44:54] You know, they got the Chicago Bears coming in across the seas.
[00:44:58] I'm going with the Bears.
[00:44:59] I was thinking that too.
[00:45:03] But I just don't like the way Caleb Williams throws passes when the wide receivers are wide open.
[00:45:08] Mm-hmm.
[00:45:09] Jamie Daniels, the play – who's number two for Washington, the wide receiver?
[00:45:14] Number two, that is De'Ami Brown.
[00:45:19] Okay.
[00:45:19] That pass he threw to him, right corner of the end zone.
[00:45:24] Back foot, let it go, took a hit.
[00:45:28] It felt like a football play.
[00:45:32] I've watched Caleb Williams throw some passes to DJ Moore.
[00:45:35] DJ Moore's wide open, and he's reaching like this.
[00:45:39] And sometimes he's got to wait, too.
[00:45:41] Got to wait.
[00:45:42] So, I'm going to go with Jacksonville.
[00:45:43] I just feel like – I don't know.
[00:45:46] I just feel like – I just feel like Caleb Williams, he's out here playing blackjack,
[00:45:54] hitting on 16, getting a lot of fours.
[00:45:56] And it's like, man, eventually you're going to get some kings.
[00:45:58] You're going to bust.
[00:45:59] Well, two quick keys to the game.
[00:46:00] You know, if you can make it to the red zone against Jacksonville, you will score 20 –
[00:46:06] or 71% of the time.
[00:46:08] The Bears have not given up 21 points in their last 11 games.
[00:46:12] But they are missing Jaquan Brisker, so that could be a big loss for them.
[00:46:16] So, let's go to Lambeau Field.
[00:46:18] I am taking the Packers over the Cardinals.
[00:46:21] I just think it's rough for the Cardinals to go to San Francisco and Lambeau back-to-back.
[00:46:26] I'm going to ride the hot wave of Arizona and the fact that Jordan Love is going to give you
[00:46:32] three opportunities to get interceptions and you're going to capitalize on two.
[00:46:35] Kyler Murray is the equalizer, right?
[00:46:37] It depends on – and depends on where you throw it.
[00:46:40] But it might be – you might be able to take it to the house.
[00:46:43] Did you see his Will Levis impersonation to avoid the safety last week?
[00:46:47] Oh, Kyler?
[00:46:49] No, Jordan Love.
[00:46:51] The pick six heard around the world.
[00:46:53] But it might have been the right play, though.
[00:46:55] I don't know.
[00:46:56] But it just reminded me of Will Levis when I saw it.
[00:46:59] My other question about Arizona is teams like that, how do you handle prosperity?
[00:47:04] You know, you come off that win against San Francisco, people looking at you a little bit differently.
[00:47:09] How do you respond the next week?
[00:47:12] I think people are still looking at them like, all right, that was a good win.
[00:47:17] Well, I'm looking at them like they're cool because I had them finishing ahead of Seattle anyway.
[00:47:21] So I'm loving it.
[00:47:22] So, like I said, I just think the – I think Jordan Love, he's averaging the most touchdown passes per game per quarterback on average.
[00:47:30] Yeah, look at all them picks too.
[00:47:32] He's also leading the quarterbacks in interceptions per game at 1.7.
[00:47:36] So, you know, but yeah, I'm going to go with –
[00:47:39] If you round it up, it's looking like two picks to come in Arizona's way.
[00:47:42] Yeah, for this next game, I'm just going to say Godspeed, Drake May.
[00:47:49] Godspeed.
[00:47:52] I know every year it happens, like a rookie comes out and dazzles, but that rookie normally has like a playmaker or two.
[00:48:03] Like a playmaking tight end or just a wide receiver, like a Deshaun Jackson that's just so fast you can't overthrow him.
[00:48:12] Right.
[00:48:13] Yeah, so I'm going to go ahead and slide on Houston, and I'm just going to wait for the postgame handshake between C.J. Stroud and Drake May, where he tells Drake May, man, stop taking all those hits.
[00:48:25] Because he will do it.
[00:48:26] Well, you remember I told you when I love, I love hard.
[00:48:33] Give me the Titans.
[00:48:34] I'm going to do it again.
[00:48:35] Give me the Titans over the Colts.
[00:48:37] You know, Jonathan Taylor's out.
[00:48:39] Anthony Richardson looks like he's going to play.
[00:48:42] You know, so hopefully you'll love this.
[00:48:44] You know, hopefully during the bye week, Tennessee worked on some plays to get Calvin Ridley open because he only has nine catches on the season so far after that contract that they gave him.
[00:48:55] So, you know.
[00:48:56] $25 million.
[00:48:57] Yeah.
[00:48:57] It looks like Michael Pittman is going to try to go.
[00:48:59] We still don't know about Josh Downs just yet.
[00:49:03] But, um, Aidy Mitchell.
[00:49:05] Who's going for Tennessee?
[00:49:06] You got Will Levis or you got Mason Rudolph?
[00:49:08] Well, Will Levis.
[00:49:09] They announced it a few hours ago.
[00:49:10] Will Levis is starting.
[00:49:11] Okay, cool.
[00:49:11] Then you should be picking Indianapolis.
[00:49:12] That's my dad's favorite team.
[00:49:14] And, like, I'm going with that anyway.
[00:49:17] Sorry, pops.
[00:49:18] You know what I'm saying?
[00:49:19] It's fuck the Colts forever.
[00:49:20] You know what I'm saying?
[00:49:22] You're loving this Tennessee thing.
[00:49:23] It's like the dude that goes to the strip club and says, I'm telling you, man, she'll get off that pole.
[00:49:30] Like, all right, man.
[00:49:31] So, you know, when the season started, you told me to prepare myself to see Spencer Rattler.
[00:49:38] So, I am prepared for Spencer Rattler and so is Tampa.
[00:49:43] Oh, yeah.
[00:49:43] He's absolutely going to torch Tampa Bay.
[00:49:46] No.
[00:49:47] No.
[00:49:48] I just think Baker is just playing.
[00:49:50] But Baker is playing like a playmaker.
[00:49:52] You know what I'm saying?
[00:49:53] You're playing like a white Patrick Mahomes.
[00:49:55] So, the biggest over-under I got is three.
[00:49:59] That's the number of fights between Lattimore and Mike Evans.
[00:50:03] Over or under.
[00:50:07] Fights that result in flags or just post-posed.
[00:50:12] Just whatever.
[00:50:13] Just whatever.
[00:50:15] Well, he's probably going to shut him down.
[00:50:17] If you want to make a touchdown bet, I would go with Godwin.
[00:50:22] Because Lattimore seems to frustrate the hell out of Evans.
[00:50:25] What up, lethal?
[00:50:27] You know what I'm saying?
[00:50:27] Yeah.
[00:50:28] Like, yeah, I agree with that.
[00:50:30] You know, Bucky Irvin's got to get involved, but they don't need him this week.
[00:50:34] So, the hardest game for me to pick of this week, the hardest game of all the games on the schedule for me to pick this week.
[00:50:42] Chargers at Broncos.
[00:50:43] Do it.
[00:50:44] I have no idea who's going to win this game.
[00:50:47] I wanted to pick Denver just because they were the home team.
[00:50:50] Then I was like, hey, Joe Alt is hurt.
[00:50:52] But then it's like, oh, Joe Alt is playing.
[00:50:54] But Rashawn Slater's hurt.
[00:50:56] So, is he going to play?
[00:50:58] Denver, three straight wins.
[00:51:00] You know, fewest points allowed.
[00:51:02] You know, third most sacks.
[00:51:04] Highest blitz rate in the league with a quarterback that's nursing a bum ankle.
[00:51:10] But I'm going to trust Harbaugh and I'm going to go with the Chargers.
[00:51:13] So, you're trusting that coach-quarterback combo versus the Denver coach?
[00:51:17] No, I'm just trusting the coach.
[00:51:18] It don't got nothing to do with the quarterback, just the coach.
[00:51:22] So, if we go coach, you give the edge to Harbaugh.
[00:51:26] Yes.
[00:51:26] If we go quarterback, you're giving the edge to the Chargers.
[00:51:30] Three and two because of their defense, lethal.
[00:51:33] And Sean Payton is a good coach.
[00:51:35] He's just not the savior that everybody else paints him out to be or that the media is.
[00:51:40] Sean Payton's not a good coach.
[00:51:42] He's not a good coach?
[00:51:43] No, because he wouldn't be arguing with his quarterbacks every single week, win, lose,
[00:51:48] or draw if he was a good coach.
[00:51:49] Hey, I think he liked that, though.
[00:51:50] I think he liked Bo Nix giving it back to him.
[00:51:52] You know, I think it kind of turned him on and he was like, yo, I want to get back out
[00:51:56] here and coach some more.
[00:51:57] Like, I think, you know, I think that was a good thing.
[00:51:59] I think it's fraudulent.
[00:52:00] I think he thinks he's Bill Parcells because they share a coffee.
[00:52:04] And I don't like him.
[00:52:06] I don't think he's a good coach.
[00:52:07] I simply don't.
[00:52:08] All right, Rob Barker.
[00:52:09] Coffee in the sweet, bro.
[00:52:11] Yeah.
[00:52:12] I said, I don't think he's a good coach.
[00:52:14] I think they have.
[00:52:15] I think they're playing well enough to win games.
[00:52:19] The game is at.
[00:52:21] You're picking him again, right?
[00:52:23] It's at Denver.
[00:52:25] Yes, at Denver.
[00:52:26] I'm going to take Denver because I like Sutan.
[00:52:28] I don't like I don't like the check out the hat.
[00:52:32] I don't like the lack of playmaking that you get out of Justin Herbert.
[00:52:35] I don't like the pedestrian kind of I don't like the fact that a guy is getting paid that
[00:52:40] much money.
[00:52:41] I'm not saying like it's a money thing.
[00:52:43] Right.
[00:52:43] Right.
[00:52:43] You're getting paid that much money.
[00:52:45] I need I need to see that much money.
[00:52:47] It's like if you it's like when people see those videos of New York apartments and it's
[00:52:53] like this is only thirty three hundred dollars a month.
[00:52:54] And it's like, yo, that's no bigger than my bathroom.
[00:52:56] Am I currently living like no like my bathroom in my house right now is a New York City apartment
[00:53:04] is twenty two hundred dollars.
[00:53:07] But when I see that, that's what I see.
[00:53:10] Let's see.
[00:53:10] Justin Herbert like, yo, you're getting that much money and you haven't thrown.
[00:53:13] Yeah, they're off two on the yard yet.
[00:53:15] I don't think so for one seventy five yet.
[00:53:17] Well, they've been running the ball effectively.
[00:53:22] Yeah.
[00:53:23] Jane.
[00:53:23] They don't have any receivers.
[00:53:24] Remember?
[00:53:25] Listen, don't want to throw to an eligible tackle.
[00:53:31] You haven't thrown for one.
[00:53:33] Oh, in the game that only two five cares about somehow.
[00:53:38] Don't ask me how the Raiders ended up in the game that I care about two weeks in a row.
[00:53:43] But I care about this game because we were talking about the Steelers earlier in the whole.
[00:53:48] They keep everybody in the game.
[00:53:50] You know, Aiden O'Connell getting the start now.
[00:53:54] Max, I'm sorry, not Max Crosby.
[00:53:56] Christian Wilkins out for the season now.
[00:53:59] So, yeah, it was IR, but they upgraded it to he's out for the season now.
[00:54:04] So the key to this game.
[00:54:06] So the Raiders are tanking.
[00:54:08] Probably.
[00:54:09] But the key to this game is simple.
[00:54:11] Max Crosby.
[00:54:13] Or T.J. Watt.
[00:54:15] Which one can get home more than the other?
[00:54:17] T.J. Watt.
[00:54:18] You know, and the other part of this is like I was telling Uncle Oda the other night, you know, you should have been there.
[00:54:24] He popped up on the hot box two nights in a row.
[00:54:26] Like, Uncle's addicted to the podcast now.
[00:54:29] But, you know, but as I was talking to him.
[00:54:33] He likes to yell at us and shit.
[00:54:34] He's just like, I'm following him everywhere.
[00:54:35] Just yell at him.
[00:54:36] Well, as I was talking to him, though, like, you know, we both made the point of, you know, this is just one of those old school NFL rivalries.
[00:54:45] The fans hate each other.
[00:54:46] So the Steelers are going to get a good shot from the Raiders.
[00:54:50] Now, whether the Raiders can, you know, keep it up for the rest of the season, nah, but they're going to give the Steelers their best shot.
[00:54:57] But I don't think so.
[00:54:58] I don't think so at all.
[00:54:59] I think it'll be a low-scoring game.
[00:55:01] But I think Aiden O'Connell is not a starting NFL quarterback.
[00:55:08] You don't know that.
[00:55:10] This feels the Cam Newton argument when he says there's not 32 guys better than me.
[00:55:15] That's the guy he's talking about.
[00:55:17] Aiden O'Connell today is better than Cam Newton today.
[00:55:21] Negative.
[00:55:22] It's true.
[00:55:23] It's true.
[00:55:24] You're right, lethal.
[00:55:25] That's going to be fire.
[00:55:26] Nah, like...
[00:55:27] Maybe Cam Newton.
[00:55:29] But Cam Newton's also retired.
[00:55:30] He doesn't need to be better than Cam Newton.
[00:55:32] He needs to be better than everybody else.
[00:55:34] He needs to be better than Gardner Minshew.
[00:55:37] Guys should be better master sergeants than me.
[00:55:39] Because I retired two and a half years ago.
[00:55:42] And for those of you that care, Utes 6, Sun Devil 0 with 7.05 left in the first quarter.
[00:55:49] Northwestern 24-10 over Maryland with 9.45 left.
[00:55:53] Yeah.
[00:55:53] And I don't think...
[00:55:54] I think Pierce...
[00:55:55] I don't want to say he lost the locker room.
[00:55:56] But I think the shine is worn off of the armor.
[00:56:01] Yeah.
[00:56:01] So give me the Falcons.
[00:56:03] I don't think I need to get too deep into that one.
[00:56:07] Yeah, I agree.
[00:56:08] Yeah.
[00:56:08] All right.
[00:56:09] So, man, Sunday night football.
[00:56:11] You know, Bengals.
[00:56:12] Giants.
[00:56:13] They keep putting the Giants on at prom time.
[00:56:15] Who put that on?
[00:56:16] You know, they just had Thursday night football two weeks ago.
[00:56:19] Now they're on Sunday night football.
[00:56:21] Who is trying to make me suffer like this?
[00:56:23] I would rather have Denver Chargers this week.
[00:56:26] Give me Sean Payton versus Jim Harbaugh on Sunday night football.
[00:56:29] I'm taking the Bengals.
[00:56:30] No Malik Neighbors again.
[00:56:32] Even though he's out at the concerts rocking out.
[00:56:34] You know, but I'm going to take the Bengals.
[00:56:36] But I am going to take the Giants to make this uncomfortable.
[00:56:44] You know what?
[00:56:47] Joe Burrow's playing out of his mind.
[00:56:49] I was going to be like, ah.
[00:56:50] But he's leading the league in touchdown passes.
[00:56:53] I think he's like, he's first to third in five major quarterback categories.
[00:56:59] The Bengals are getting real close to running out of room for error, though.
[00:57:05] Oh, yeah.
[00:57:06] It's slim.
[00:57:07] Like, their tires are balled and they're driving through the snow.
[00:57:11] Like, it's one bad turn and the season's over.
[00:57:16] Right.
[00:57:16] But we've seen teams go.
[00:57:18] We've seen teams win six, seven games in a row.
[00:57:21] So it's not out of the realm of possibility.
[00:57:24] But the last reason, you don't want to start your six-game win streak when you're one and five.
[00:57:29] So starting at two and four to get you to seven and four.
[00:57:35] All right.
[00:57:35] That makes sense.
[00:57:36] But right now.
[00:57:37] Well, Burrow's going to have a bad game at some point.
[00:57:40] I'm not saying that it's this week.
[00:57:41] I'm just saying, like, over the course of the season.
[00:57:43] He had one.
[00:57:44] He had one against.
[00:57:44] No, no, I know.
[00:57:45] But there's going to be more.
[00:57:46] There's 17 games in a season.
[00:57:47] He's got another one or two duds left in him.
[00:57:51] And that's enough to sink their season.
[00:57:53] You know what I mean?
[00:57:53] So that's all I'm saying.
[00:57:56] You know, if we check the schedule, it depends.
[00:57:59] Maybe if they have some late.
[00:58:00] Well, no, they have a great schedule.
[00:58:02] They have a great.
[00:58:03] Like I said, the next couple of weeks.
[00:58:04] They have the easiest of the AFC North, correct?
[00:58:07] I believe so.
[00:58:08] I believe so.
[00:58:09] But if you just look at the next couple of weeks itself, right?
[00:58:13] Just the next couple of weeks.
[00:58:14] You got at Giants this week, at Cleveland next week, home for Philadelphia, home for the Raiders.
[00:58:24] So right there, you could go 4-0 right there.
[00:58:27] Potentially.
[00:58:28] Between Giants, Browns, Eagles.
[00:58:30] Eagles and Raiders.
[00:58:31] You could go 4-0 right there.
[00:58:32] They could do 5-4.
[00:58:34] Then you go to Baltimore.
[00:58:37] Then you go to the Chargers before the bye week.
[00:58:40] You come off the bye week.
[00:58:42] Home for Pittsburgh, at Dallas, at Tennessee.
[00:58:46] Home for Cleveland.
[00:58:47] Home for Denver.
[00:58:47] And you close at Pittsburgh.
[00:58:49] So that's where it gets a little funky.
[00:58:51] They can't go 1-5.
[00:58:54] That's what I'm saying.
[00:58:55] They lose the Giants this weekend.
[00:58:57] It's over.
[00:58:58] That means they have to go, without a doubt, 9-2 to make the playoffs.
[00:59:09] To feel good about it.
[00:59:10] Maybe 8-3 could do it, but to feel good about it.
[00:59:13] Yeah.
[00:59:14] You got to go 8-3, 9-2 with limited confidence because you're coming off of, what is it?
[00:59:22] What, it would be a three-game losing streak at that point if they were to go to 1-5 this week?
[00:59:26] Yeah.
[00:59:28] And then I'm going to just go ahead and say this.
[00:59:31] I know you disagreed with me earlier, but if the Bills lose this game, I ain't going to be the only one thinking that Sean McDermott's on the hot seat.
[00:59:40] You know, Josh Allen in his career, we talk about his record against the Dolphins, 12-2 and all that.
[00:59:46] Against the Jets in his career, 12 touchdowns, 11 interceptions.
[00:59:50] Two include losing last year on Monday Night Football when Aaron Rodgers got hurt and he threw three interceptions.
[00:59:58] Man, just run the ball.
[01:00:01] Keep the ball.
[01:00:02] Well, James Cook might not play.
[01:00:04] I don't care.
[01:00:06] Put goddamn Deion Dawkins, your left tackle out there in fullback, and gave him the ball.
[01:00:12] Just keep the ball out of Aaron's hands because if you do that, Aaron's going to press when he comes back out.
[01:00:16] The offense is going to look as a revamp for the Jets.
[01:00:22] People moving.
[01:00:24] People in this as a thing.
[01:00:26] All the moving pieces as far as coaches, there's a lot of speculation, a lot of reports, a lot of sources, quote unquote, that are saying that a lot of decisions weren't made.
[01:00:41] After.
[01:00:43] After.
[01:00:44] In conference with what everyone else was going on in concert with everyone else thinking.
[01:00:48] So rumor that Aaron Rodgers talked to the owner, but they didn't he didn't bring up the coaching fire.
[01:00:54] And then potentially not hack it got demoted by Robert Sala that led to him getting let Sala getting fired.
[01:01:05] But not hack it still demoted.
[01:01:07] The other offensive coordinator has been moved up.
[01:01:10] Yeah.
[01:01:11] Yeah.
[01:01:12] That hack it is Aaron's boy.
[01:01:14] So all of this is happening.
[01:01:18] And that started on Tuesday.
[01:01:21] We're in we're rolling into we're about to roll into Saturday and it's like more information coming out that the owner didn't consult the GM.
[01:01:30] So is that is so many disconnects that if Baltimore or Buffalo says, you know what?
[01:01:35] Let's just dominate these guys because I know they're athletes.
[01:01:39] I know they're professionals.
[01:01:41] But, you know, when you're working for a shit organization and, you know, it's like, you know what?
[01:01:47] I don't have the effort to chase this rundown.
[01:01:50] I don't have the effort to chase down this post.
[01:01:53] I'm just like, I don't want to get chewed out by a guy who was defensive coordinator.
[01:01:57] I'm like, like George.
[01:01:59] You know, exactly brand new.
[01:02:01] I'm like, like George Pickens, what you can do when you play like Antonio Brown, not when you play like George Pickens.
[01:02:07] But you were right about one thing.
[01:02:09] We are rolling into Saturday.
[01:02:13] And we call this one state your case Saturday.
[01:02:16] State your case Saturday because we got all the big games.
[01:02:19] But before we get to all of that, of course, upset alert.
[01:02:23] Did somebody say upset alert?
[01:02:25] Let's hear what you got.
[01:02:27] Here you go.
[01:02:28] Give me Washington over Iowa.
[01:02:31] South Florida covering against Memphis.
[01:02:34] Fresno over Wazoo.
[01:02:36] And I might even like that one straight up.
[01:02:38] What's the Memphis one?
[01:02:40] South Florida.
[01:02:42] UCF cover?
[01:02:44] USF, yeah.
[01:02:46] And then Rice over UTSA.
[01:02:50] Right.
[01:02:50] So those are your upset alerts.
[01:02:52] And the Sun Devils just got into the end zone.
[01:02:55] All right.
[01:02:56] Now for the actual upsets that I'm going for.
[01:02:59] So if you remember last week, all of my upset alerts hit.
[01:03:03] None of my upsets hit.
[01:03:04] But they're upsets.
[01:03:05] They're not supposed to hit.
[01:03:06] But let's see what happens.
[01:03:08] So give me Cincinnati over UCF.
[01:03:13] This is where Mr. Logical covers his ears.
[01:03:16] Give me Wisconsin over Rutgers.
[01:03:19] Rutgers.
[01:03:19] You know, yay.
[01:03:20] Ashton Gentry by himself has more rushing yards than Rutgers.
[01:03:24] He has more rushing yards than a lot of people.
[01:03:26] Don't just say Rutgers.
[01:03:27] Give me Eastern Michigan over Miami, Ohio.
[01:03:33] Northern Illinois over Bowling Green.
[01:03:36] And then here's the one, Mr. Logical.
[01:03:38] So give me West Virginia over Iowa State, which is kind of crazy, which is kind of crazy because Iowa State's quarterback, Rocco Beck, his dad is being inducted into West Virginia's Hall of Fame tomorrow night.
[01:03:58] So here's the last part.
[01:04:00] West Virginia has lost their last seven games against top 25 teams since they beat Iowa State in 2021.
[01:04:11] So there you go.
[01:04:14] All right.
[01:04:15] All right.
[01:04:16] So now, let the madness begin.
[01:04:19] Kyle McCord is better than Will Howard.
[01:04:24] Ohio State hasn't played anything with a pulse.
[01:04:28] Their only road game was at Michigan State, whose claim to fame is we beat the same Maryland team that Northwestern is currently up 17 on.
[01:04:39] Give me the ducks.
[01:04:41] I'm taking the ducks in the upset.
[01:04:44] Taking Ohio State.
[01:04:45] You know, Jeremiah Smith is going to get off.
[01:04:49] He's going to make some plays.
[01:04:50] You know, Quinshawn Junkins.
[01:04:52] This is the game why Ohio State brought him in besides the Michigan game, a game where you have to be tough.
[01:04:59] You know, Kyle, I mean, Will Howard has not played in a game like this in his career.
[01:05:06] Dylan Gabriel does give me concern, though.
[01:05:09] He did throw two picks against Sparty in the red zone last week.
[01:05:13] They have the wide receivers who can test Ohio State.
[01:05:16] Treshawn Holden, Evan Stewart, Tez Johnson.
[01:05:19] Now, Dan Lanning, and I'm going to steal this line because, you know, other people steal from our podcast.
[01:05:25] All the time.
[01:05:26] So I'm going to steal something from one of my favorite podcasts real quick.
[01:05:30] Josh Pate, formerly, you know, late kick, now just the Josh Pate college football show.
[01:05:37] He always says we get caught up in thinking that this can't happen.
[01:05:42] The thing is, it just hasn't happened yet.
[01:05:45] Dan Lanning, 27-5 as a head coach in his time at Oregon.
[01:05:50] Those five losses, three of them to Washington.
[01:05:55] Michael Penix.
[01:05:57] You know, one of them, the big 49-3 ass kicking that they got against Georgia down in Atlanta,
[01:06:06] and they lost a rivalry game to Oregon State.
[01:06:08] So I say that to say they say Dan Lanning can't win the big game.
[01:06:14] No.
[01:06:15] He just hasn't won it yet.
[01:06:20] I just think the depth, the power, the size, the five- and four-star recruits,
[01:06:26] the NFL talent that you're going to float out there.
[01:06:31] Granted, so on the road, it's at Oregon.
[01:06:36] I just think Ohio State just has.
[01:06:37] Ohio State has, he's out there somewhere, just let it go kind of players.
[01:06:42] And their quarterback is like, he's out there somewhere, I'm just going to throw it.
[01:06:46] And you see how quickly that could turn.
[01:06:48] One guy out of place in Buka.
[01:06:53] Yeah, Emeka Buka.
[01:06:54] Emeka Buka, touchdown.
[01:06:57] Jeremy, if you don't have safety help, and he plants that foot, and he runs that front route,
[01:07:04] and you're done.
[01:07:06] And I think, and that's the thing, it's like, if that happens four times,
[01:07:11] Ohio State can get three to four touchdowns out of it.
[01:07:14] And that's what I mean, like, you can have him on the ropes,
[01:07:17] but if he looks up and sees, oh, I got single coverage, well, he's open over there somewhere,
[01:07:27] and he's going to let it go.
[01:07:28] Well, you know, Ohio State is scary.
[01:07:32] You know, they went into halftime against Iowa last week, up 7-0.
[01:07:35] By the time you blinked, it was 35-7.
[01:07:38] You know, they've scored 21 of 22 touchdowns in the red zone this year.
[01:07:46] They look like Navy.
[01:07:48] But Oregon is 34-1 in their last 35 games at Autzen.
[01:07:54] That one loss, like I said, Michael Penix and Washington.
[01:07:57] Yeah, but none of them are against anybody nearly as good as Ohio State.
[01:08:01] I mean, Washington was pretty damn good.
[01:08:03] They had three receivers drafted last year, and your quarterback at number eight.
[01:08:07] I mean, I'm saying they're – yeah, let me see how that's going.
[01:08:09] They're 34 wins.
[01:08:11] It's like I hear these stats all the time.
[01:08:13] They're talking about, oh, they haven't lost a non-conference opponent.
[01:08:15] You ain't say that about the Utes.
[01:08:17] You're playing – oh, yeah, they were good until they put a freshman out there at home.
[01:08:22] They're great at home with a 27-year-old Mormon quarterback or something like that.
[01:08:27] Everyone's good when you have that advantage, and that's the argument.
[01:08:30] But, like, you have, like, stats like, oh, teams are, like, 35-1 in their last non-conference.
[01:08:35] Like, yeah, you're playing Mercer and Wolford and South Alabama.
[01:08:40] It's like, yeah, you should win those games.
[01:08:42] But key to the game right here.
[01:08:44] This is the key.
[01:08:47] Can you survive the third quarter?
[01:08:50] Because in the third quarter this season so far,
[01:08:53] Ohio State has outscored their opponents 84-3.
[01:08:57] And think about it.
[01:08:59] Why do you think the third quarter is so impactful for Ohio State?
[01:09:04] Because whatever plan they come into the game with, I talked about this.
[01:09:07] It's time to adjust, right?
[01:09:08] It's like when they make their adjustments, it's based off of the fact that we came into this game with more talent than you.
[01:09:18] So, if Oregon goes in and say the halftime score is 10-3, Oregon can't be like, oh, we got it where we want them.
[01:09:27] It's like, no, that team's still more talented than you.
[01:09:30] Or Ohio State's going to go, like, listen, all right, who's seeing what?
[01:09:33] Hey, man, every time they go man-to-man coverage on me, just give me this route.
[01:09:38] I'm going to beat them.
[01:09:38] Got it.
[01:09:40] I've been beating this guy off the line all day long.
[01:09:42] I had him stuttering.
[01:09:43] He's been dropping back further and further.
[01:09:45] When we come up, let's run that bubble screen because he's seven yards off from you.
[01:09:49] All right, cool.
[01:09:50] And they make these adjustments.
[01:09:52] They make those plays.
[01:09:52] They make those runs.
[01:09:53] And it's like, boom.
[01:09:54] And now you go from 7-0 to 35-7.
[01:09:58] Yeah.
[01:09:58] I think that's how they get those leads.
[01:10:01] So, 30-10 Northwestern.
[01:10:03] 30-10 Northwestern.
[01:10:05] And Maryland just threw a pick.
[01:10:08] Utah's punting.
[01:10:09] 6-6 game.
[01:10:10] Arizona State missed the extra point.
[01:10:11] We got a minute left in the first quarter.
[01:10:13] They kicked from the three-yard line.
[01:10:14] Did it get blocked?
[01:10:17] No.
[01:10:18] I can make that.
[01:10:20] You know, so then, of course, we got the Red River shootout.
[01:10:23] We don't call it by any other name but the Red River shootout.
[01:10:27] No long-drawn preview for this one.
[01:10:30] Michael Hawkins, you know, replaced Jackson Arnold two weeks ago.
[01:10:34] Oklahoma had a bye week.
[01:10:35] You know, you got some time for Brett Venables to devise his defensive plan.
[01:10:40] Quinn Ewers is back.
[01:10:42] Give me Texas.
[01:10:43] I am going to pick Oklahoma to cover the 14-1.
[01:10:48] You know, this is going to be a low-scoring game.
[01:10:50] That's tough for a rivalry game.
[01:10:52] 14-1.
[01:10:53] Yeah.
[01:10:53] I'm going to call it 24-13.
[01:10:55] Oh, no.
[01:10:56] Texas put on more than 24 points.
[01:11:01] Oh, I thought it was going to be like a real shootout.
[01:11:04] No, not at all.
[01:11:05] Oklahoma's not going to be able to score?
[01:11:06] I thought you was going to go, oh, if that's the case, man, I'm 34-14 then.
[01:11:11] Okay.
[01:11:11] Fair enough.
[01:11:12] Texas is beating the brakes off of them.
[01:11:13] Number one team in America.
[01:11:15] All right.
[01:11:16] Now, give me a second.
[01:11:17] I'm going to reiterate some things that I said last night on 2-5 Daily real quick.
[01:11:22] All right.
[01:11:22] Let's hear it.
[01:11:23] James Franklin, you are on the clock.
[01:11:26] All I hear from Penn State is we are.
[01:11:30] You are what?
[01:11:32] Are you Michigan's peer?
[01:11:34] Are you Ohio State's peer?
[01:11:35] If the answer to that question is yes, your 3-17 record or your 4-17 record doesn't prove it, doesn't prove it, you know, but now's the time.
[01:11:47] You've got the best defense in the country by my money.
[01:11:50] You know, USC is nothing more but the new Oklahoma, you know, so Lincoln Riley should be hearing some hot seat as well.
[01:11:59] Not for real, but just because he's at USC in their expectations.
[01:12:03] Now, with that being said, he has to go steal a real good defensive coordinator from an NFL team.
[01:12:09] He did.
[01:12:10] Well, he grabbed Anthony Lynn's son from UCLA, you know, who had a top 15 defense.
[01:12:17] That's not what I said.
[01:12:18] I said he got to steal a good defensive coordinator from an NFL team.
[01:12:22] Okay.
[01:12:23] Because there's too much talent that comes through California to where you can have them shutting people down.
[01:12:30] Like, you got enough boosters.
[01:12:33] Call Reggie Bush.
[01:12:34] Call Matt Leinart.
[01:12:35] Call Pete Carroll.
[01:12:36] He owes you a favor.
[01:12:37] And, like, listen, I need these checks for these kids, and I need these defensive players from Texas to come to USC so we can dominate college football.
[01:12:47] Touchdown Northwestern.
[01:12:49] You know, Nick Singleton is back for this game, you know, after being out with the undisclosed injury.
[01:12:56] USC two plays away from being 5-0.
[01:12:58] You know, they beat LSU week zero, and, of course, I was the one that said, I don't believe in LSU, so therefore I'm not giving USC major credit for that win, even though they do deserve some credit.
[01:13:09] They went out, got beat by Michigan, stomped a mud hole in their ass, even though they only allowed 32 passing yards.
[01:13:17] They lost at Minnesota last week when P.J. Fleck with the balls of the year, fourth and goal from the one.
[01:13:24] You know, so, look, if you are this team that I believe you are, because I picked you to play in the Big Ten title game this year, even though I despise everything about your university.
[01:13:38] This is the game.
[01:13:40] I don't want you to go into USC and win 27-24.
[01:13:45] I want what Mr. Logical just said.
[01:13:48] Give me that 34-14.
[01:13:50] Make a statement.
[01:13:51] State your case Saturday.
[01:13:53] Show that you are.
[01:13:57] Penn State moves up the ring space off reputation until they have to play Ohio State, Michigan, or somebody tough in the middle of the year.
[01:14:04] They're number four right now, and they got Ohio State in about three weeks.
[01:14:08] Yeah, so if they win this game, I think Drew Aller is pretty good.
[01:14:14] I like what they do.
[01:14:15] They're not throwing the ball down the field.
[01:14:17] I just don't think – I think James Franklin is one of those coaches that I think he has the personality, and I think he has the swag.
[01:14:28] But when it comes down to it, it's let's be as methodical as possible so we can win.
[01:14:34] And by the way –
[01:14:35] I just want to win this game.
[01:14:37] And by the way, James Franklin is one of the rumored names if Florida gets rid of their coach.
[01:14:44] But we'll get to that in a second because let's go to the other –
[01:14:48] He'd be a fool and a half to take that job.
[01:14:50] Well, let's go to the other coach whose name is in the Florida hat.
[01:14:55] The one and only Lane Kiffin.
[01:14:57] Another fool.
[01:14:59] Going down to Baton Rouge for a nighttime game in a place that Ole Miss has not won since 2008.
[01:15:06] We're still waiting on word to see if Trey Harris, their best receiver, is going to play or not.
[01:15:11] If he doesn't, obviously that'll be a break for LSU's disgraceful secondary.
[01:15:16] Harold Perkins is out for the season for LSU.
[01:15:19] If we go back to last year, 55-49 down in Oxford combined 1,343 yards in that game.
[01:15:31] Both teams ran for at least 200 yards.
[01:15:34] Ole Miss ran for 317.
[01:15:37] But the problem is Quinshawn Junkins, as I mentioned, is up in Columbus.
[01:15:42] Brian Kelly has only lost once at Tiger Stadium.
[01:15:48] And he just happens to be 12-0 at night.
[01:15:51] And just in case you want to play some games and think I don't know what I'm talking about, the one loss was the Hinden Hooker.
[01:15:56] But anyway.
[01:15:57] Yeah.
[01:15:58] You know what I'm saying?
[01:15:59] And as much as I don't want to say it, I'm going to take LSU to hold down the home field, especially if Trey Harris doesn't play.
[01:16:11] I didn't like Jackson Dart against Kentucky.
[01:16:13] I just felt like he looked a little disheveled, a little shambled.
[01:16:19] I don't know.
[01:16:20] I don't know.
[01:16:21] I don't know.
[01:16:32] I don't know.
[01:16:48] We're not going to get too deep into this one.
[01:16:50] But I'm just going to say I'm picking them to cover the 16 at Knoxville.
[01:16:56] You know, Florida is 17-2 in their last 19 games against Tennessee.
[01:17:04] I don't know how that works.
[01:17:07] I don't know how that works.
[01:17:08] But speaking of not working, real quick, you know, here's my random notes for the week.
[01:17:13] Just a few.
[01:17:13] Just a logical guy to get out of here, so I kept it short.
[01:17:16] But here we go.
[01:17:18] Is this Trent Dilfer's last game at UAB?
[01:17:21] You know, I called him out of –
[01:17:23] Are you going to be able to get another big name?
[01:17:25] So probably not.
[01:17:25] No, you don't need another big name.
[01:17:27] You just need a good coach.
[01:17:29] So this is the thing, right?
[01:17:30] So I wouldn't normally say that, you know, because he does have a name, like you mentioned.
[01:17:36] And, you know, they are a downtrodden program at this point in time.
[01:17:41] But the reason that I say that, you're coming off of a 23-point loss to Navy.
[01:17:48] You gave up 71 to Tulane last week.
[01:17:53] 71, I said.
[01:17:55] When you said – I was sending a message to my son when you said 71.
[01:17:59] I was like, is that the year it was born?
[01:18:01] Yeah, I didn't say 1971.
[01:18:02] 71, I said they gave up 71 points to Tulane last week.
[01:18:07] And, oh, by the way, they are a 26-and-a-half underdog to Army tomorrow.
[01:18:16] Oh, yeah, Army's going to cover.
[01:18:18] But that's what I'm saying.
[01:18:19] If they do cover, he might have to pack his shit.
[01:18:23] Yeah, yeah.
[01:18:24] I mean, I know Army's playing great at 5-0.
[01:18:26] And the Naval Academy's 5-0.
[01:18:28] And they're beating the brakes off everybody.
[01:18:32] But that's a tough offense to defend because it's almost exclusive to the service academies
[01:18:42] and then maybe some Division II or III schools.
[01:18:45] Not many Division I schools run that.
[01:18:48] So I don't know if you can even practice against it well enough.
[01:18:53] Right.
[01:18:54] You got your ass stumped.
[01:18:56] Gave up 71 points last week.
[01:18:59] I don't know.
[01:19:00] I guess Monday practice starts for college.
[01:19:03] I don't know what you could install between Monday and Thursday to combat what Army's doing.
[01:19:10] Right.
[01:19:11] Especially with Army being as good as they are being 5-0.
[01:19:15] So it's like if Army was like 1-4 and they didn't have the playmakers running that confusing kind of offense.
[01:19:24] But they have guys that are elite running that offense.
[01:19:29] And they're feeling it.
[01:19:30] Yeah, Tulane, UAB is going to get the brake speed off of them.
[01:19:34] Yep.
[01:19:35] Big 10 news real quick.
[01:19:37] So here's one for you, Mr. Logical.
[01:19:39] So you know USC and the gang ended up joining the Big 10.
[01:19:43] So, so far this season, teams in the Big 10 that have to travel more than a time zone.
[01:19:51] So at least two time zones.
[01:19:53] Okay.
[01:19:54] Are 1-8 so far.
[01:19:57] So keep that in your mind when we're thinking about Penn State, by the way.
[01:20:01] Penn State going from – are they central or are they east?
[01:20:06] They are close to Pittsburgh.
[01:20:10] Like usually –
[01:20:12] Oh, so they're east.
[01:20:12] They're east then.
[01:20:13] You know, because – well, Pittsburgh's west, right?
[01:20:16] Like going towards Ohio.
[01:20:17] They're in the eastern time zone still.
[01:20:19] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:20:20] The eastern time zone goes all the way out through Indiana.
[01:20:24] Yeah.
[01:20:25] And then Indiana –
[01:20:25] I think Illinois is where it kind of –
[01:20:28] Well, some of Indiana – part of Indiana is east and some is on central.
[01:20:32] It's split, you know.
[01:20:34] But so that was the big drama, speaking of which, I just thought about it as you said that.
[01:20:38] That was some of the drama from this week because Penn State – you know, State College doesn't have a runway big enough, you know, for the plane that's needed to take Penn State out of Pennsylvania.
[01:20:50] So they had to drive an hour down to Harrisonburg, you know, Harrisburg, and then fly out from there, which James Franklin has been bitching about all week long.
[01:21:01] Just go to fucking Pittsburgh.
[01:21:02] You know, but I just brought up that point to say the one and eight thing, you know.
[01:21:06] So keep that in mind.
[01:21:08] How does it feel to be Vanderbilt?
[01:21:11] The toast of the town.
[01:21:13] You just knocked off Alabama.
[01:21:15] We've been talking about Diego Pavia.
[01:21:17] He's getting ESPN and other, you know, spotlight profile segments.
[01:21:23] And then they're going to come out here and make you a 13-and-a-half-point underdog to Kentucky.
[01:21:32] Why'd they do that?
[01:21:35] You put 40 up on Alabama, right?
[01:21:40] 40 to 30?
[01:21:41] I think it was 40.
[01:21:41] I think it was 40, yeah.
[01:21:42] Yeah, you just put 40 on Alabama.
[01:21:44] Yeah, yeah.
[01:21:46] 13-and-a-half point underdogs to Kentucky.
[01:21:49] Kentucky beat Ole Miss.
[01:21:51] Ole Miss 16-13?
[01:21:55] I think it was 20-17.
[01:21:57] Yeah, but a field goal would have tied it.
[01:21:59] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:22:00] They lost to Georgia 13-12.
[01:22:04] Alabama still put up 35 points, only had the ball for 17 minutes.
[01:22:12] 13-and-a-half points?
[01:22:13] Yeah, I'd take those points.
[01:22:15] Yeah, I think I'm seeing it all day.
[01:22:17] I might even be kind of tempted to take Vandy straight up, you know, but we'll see.
[01:22:24] Then, I'm wearing the hat, ladies and gentlemen.
[01:22:27] Okay, okay.
[01:22:28] You know, saying tomorrow, 8 o'clock Eastern, ESPN, be there or be square.
[01:22:35] Do you believe?
[01:22:37] The Kansas State Wildcats, one of the teams vying for first place in the Big 12, against the Colorado Buffaloes, one of the teams vying for first place in the Big 12.
[01:22:47] Colorado not being ranked in the top 25 is odd to me.
[01:22:51] They will be if they win tomorrow.
[01:22:53] They're 4-1.
[01:22:55] They ain't beat nobody.
[01:22:57] They ain't beat nobody.
[01:22:57] And then the one loss that they had, they got their asses kicked.
[01:23:00] Utah's 17.
[01:23:02] I like Utah.
[01:23:04] They ain't beat nobody either.
[01:23:08] They got a better loss.
[01:23:10] But see, that's the problem.
[01:23:11] Utah started ranked.
[01:23:12] And that's the problem with the top 25 in general is that the voters make these proclamations.
[01:23:18] They don't want to admit that they were wrong and have to make adjustments.
[01:23:23] You know, Utah beat Oklahoma State.
[01:23:25] Iowa State has 13.
[01:23:26] Iowa State can't score 13 points.
[01:23:29] Hey, Utah won at Oklahoma State, which is probably better than any win that Colorado has right now.
[01:23:37] Not more exciting, though.
[01:23:39] But yeah, I'll take Colorado on that all day and every day on Sunday.
[01:23:41] I'm taking K-State to establish the run, stay true to themselves, take the air out the stadium when Colorado builds momentum.
[01:23:50] Because I do think Colorado will score points.
[01:23:52] I do think that this is going to be a high-scoring game.
[01:23:56] You know, I'm going to take Kansas State something like 38-34.
[01:24:01] Yeah, it's going to be high-scoring.
[01:24:03] I think that Colorado just has a couple of NFL talents that are relied upon to use that talent.
[01:24:12] And I think that, like the Hail Mary for Baylor, the first one that got dropped to run pretty much that same type of play again,
[01:24:24] and it just shows it's like when you're – if you try to fight your bigger cousin and you both get a boxing glove,
[01:24:32] he's like, listen, I'll take the left one because I'm going to jab the hell out of you with it because I'm just bigger and stronger than you.
[01:24:38] And you think he's the one of these right haymakers and he's just jabby.
[01:24:42] And one thing that I do want to see –
[01:24:44] I think that's what Colorado has with their talent.
[01:24:45] I think their talent – I think their top-tier talent will get them points that they probably don't even deserve.
[01:24:52] And, yeah, I agree with that.
[01:24:54] I can see that.
[01:24:54] And the one thing I am looking forward to is that, of course, Kansas State has Dylan Edwards.
[01:25:02] So, you know, maybe a slight little revenge game even though things seem –
[01:25:06] Or maybe he does too much and drops the ball.
[01:25:08] Maybe.
[01:25:09] You know what I'm saying?
[01:25:09] But I will say this real quick.
[01:25:11] If Colorado wins this game, prepare for the Cat 6 hurricane because the media blitz is going to be ridiculous.
[01:25:20] You think so?
[01:25:20] No, I think the media has kind of fallen out of favor.
[01:25:24] No, because if they win that game, that's the credibility game, right?
[01:25:27] Like I just said that they didn't beat anybody.
[01:25:29] Right now, if you look at the odds, Kansas State's the favorite to win the Big 12.
[01:25:34] So if Colorado wins that game, Saturday night primetime spot, like we're right back to do you believe.
[01:25:41] Not Deion saying that.
[01:25:43] But now all the people that had to be quiet.
[01:25:46] They were all in Iraq.
[01:25:47] Right.
[01:25:48] It ramps back up because here we are.
[01:25:51] All these new rappers.
[01:25:52] And then they got Arizona next week.
[01:25:54] You know what I mean?
[01:25:54] So, like, yeah, it's going to get real.
[01:25:57] And then last note that I had that I wanted to share with Mr. Logical before we get out of here.
[01:26:01] The Pittsburgh Panthers.
[01:26:04] Three and a half point favorites over the Cal Golden Bears coming in after that heartbreaking game against Miami last week.
[01:26:11] The reason that that game stands out to me, Mr. Logical, is because if Pitt wins, they will be 6-0 for the first time since Dan Marino was their quarterback.
[01:26:29] We didn't.
[01:26:30] We weren't even walking when that happened.
[01:26:34] But I'm just saying, you know, it is what it is.
[01:26:37] We have degrees and retirement certificates.
[01:26:39] Like gray hair.
[01:26:40] Yeah.
[01:26:41] We live the whole lives.
[01:26:42] And they have 6-0 in our entire lifetime.
[01:26:45] Yeah.
[01:26:45] That's creepy.
[01:26:46] Yeah.
[01:26:47] So, I wanted to share that with you.
[01:26:49] But, ladies and gentlemen, we will be back on Tuesday with reaction to all these games that we just talked about.
[01:26:56] We will be back on Tuesday to talk about our picks for the NBA awards, you know, as far as MVP, Coach of the Year, so on and so forth.
[01:27:05] And, of course, we're going to have other NBA talk to get to as well.
[01:27:09] Shout out to the Minnesota Lynx.
[01:27:14] I've been had this hat, though.
[01:27:17] With the big comeback last night in game one.
[01:27:20] You know, congratulations to the Dodgers setting up the Dodgers and Mets on Sunday.
[01:27:25] Tomorrow, we got Tigers, Guardians, formerly known as the Indians, in game five, you know, to figure out who's going to play the Yankees.
[01:27:34] Yankees and Mets World Series.
[01:27:36] Let's make it happen.
[01:27:37] Subway Series.
[01:27:38] Subway Series Part 2.
[01:27:40] But, you know, but y'all go ahead.
[01:27:41] Go ahead and get back to dreaming about that while I'll try to find something else to do other than watch that shit.
[01:27:48] But have a good weekend.
[01:27:50] God bless.
[01:27:51] Do all the free things.
[01:27:52] Do all the good things.
[01:27:54] We love you, people.
[01:27:55] Good luck to the Northern Burnton Greyhounds tomorrow in Trenton Central.
[01:28:00] Yes, sir.
[01:28:01] Trying to get a dub on a Saturday afternoon football game.
[01:28:04] So let's get it.
[01:28:06] Let's get it, fellas.
[01:28:07] Peace.
