[00:00:03] Woo, you see that? AR5 would still be benched if it were up to me. 2-5. Yes, you are now listening to the sounds of Sports Reports As Ordered. And I already introduced myself going left so much, I thought I was southpaw. I would have ducked that Mike Tyson slap. You know what I'm saying? But I got with me. Born in Texas, raised in VA.

[00:00:40] Representing New Jerus. He told me the other day that they got the best amusement parks in the country. Sandwiches, best pizza, best tea steaks. Best balls. And you know what? And if you disagree with him, you're allowed to. Just don't bring feelings to a fat fight. Don't do it. Let's get this thing started with Get It Off My Chest.

[00:01:10] Like, review, subscribe, share, rate, do all the free things. Do all the good things. Yes, sir. Mr. Logical, start us off.

[00:01:21] I will Mike get off my chest as simple as odd. Something that Mike kind of already alluded to. The Mike Tyson, Jake Ball thing. I'm confused. I'm confused. I don't know. I don't know what logical sense the fight makes.

[00:01:42] I don't know what logic to use to make my decision on who I think is going to win. I don't even know if I really want to watch it.

[00:01:51] I'm kind of nervous about Mike. I would be super surprised if Jake gets knocked out. Also, I don't like the credibility Jake's getting as being a boxer.

[00:02:04] So I don't want him to knock out a 67, 97-year-old Mike Tyson and then get like this ultra credibility because I'm kind of sick.

[00:02:16] I'm not sick of Jake Paul. I'm just sick of the way he's behaving regarding the fights as if we don't see.

[00:02:28] You're not fighting great boxers. You're not even fighting great amateur boxers that decided to go pro at a different fighting sport.

[00:02:40] And now you're catching them on the back end.

[00:02:45] So. But you got a retired guy. Oh, you got some referees ruin the game again.

[00:02:52] And I'm so sick of this referees, but that's neither here nor there. We'll yell about them later.

[00:02:58] Yeah. So the Mike Tyson thing. And then we saw the video with the little slap.

[00:03:02] And also. These fight press things come up.

[00:03:07] It makes me think of Hannibal Buress had a joke was like he's like, I like to see regular people fight more than trained fighters.

[00:03:14] Because regular people fight three o'clock in the morning at the taco spot. The fight's on.

[00:03:20] And he was like, but these professional fighters are like, yo, I'll fuck you up.

[00:03:25] Now, August, I want to see you today.

[00:03:28] But like, maybe I'll see you. We'll meet up a few times and we'll just stand real close and take pictures and talk tough.

[00:03:34] It's like, so it's weird to see these press conferences.

[00:03:38] I know Colin McGregor, Colin McGregor said it out loud.

[00:03:41] Like he, he does his antics at the presser to drive sales for the fight.

[00:03:48] So it just, it just so much of it doesn't seem real.

[00:03:51] It seems fake, but he really could knock out Mike Tyson.

[00:03:57] Or Mike Tyson could really try to knock him out and he could run like Roy Jones did, who admittedly said, I'm not getting in the ring with this crazy fool again ever.

[00:04:07] He's like, when I was in there, I just noticed that Mike was going a little too hard.

[00:04:11] So I ran.

[00:04:12] So I don't want it to be that either.

[00:04:14] So I'm torn, but I'm gonna watch with my son.

[00:04:17] I probably have some, some chicken wings, a lot of French fries, all the good deals, but I'm gonna watch it.

[00:04:23] But I'm just torn on what I expect.

[00:04:27] I literally don't know what avenue to really lock my mind into.

[00:04:33] Like when I watch the, the, this, I watch the Eagles-Washington game.

[00:04:38] I want, I want high flying action.

[00:04:41] I want to see what Jay Daniels can do.

[00:04:42] I want, you know, Jalen Hurst to kind of silence his critics.

[00:04:46] I like Saquon's progression.

[00:04:47] I want to see Sirianni kind of, you know, revert back to his championship ways versus, I have like all these thoughts that I can lock into when I'm watching the game of what I want to see.

[00:04:59] I have no idea what I want to see out of this Tyson-Paul fight.

[00:05:02] And it's pissing me off that I can't even think of like an avenue for my brain to lock into other than I'm gonna just sit down here Friday night chilling in my house watching this fight on Netflix.

[00:05:16] Well, I'm gonna be up in the Alamo dome watching the North Texas Mean Green play against the UTSA Roadrunners.

[00:05:25] So I'm gonna miss the fight.

[00:05:27] I might pull it up on my phone.

[00:05:28] I don't know.

[00:05:29] But, you know, I just want Mike Tyson to knock the dude.

[00:05:33] Like, you remember Martin when he was fighting Tommy the Hitman Hearns?

[00:05:37] I want Mike Tyson to knock his ass out like that.

[00:05:40] You know what I'm saying?

[00:05:41] Send him out the ring.

[00:05:42] Send him through the crowd.

[00:05:43] Because you remember Floyd fought.

[00:05:45] I don't know which one Floyd fought.

[00:05:47] He fought one of them.

[00:05:48] My brother.

[00:05:48] Yeah, he fought.

[00:05:49] Yeah, he fought Logan.

[00:05:50] Logan.

[00:05:51] And he knocked him out, but he held him up because, you know what I'm saying, it's supposed to be an exhibition.

[00:05:55] You can't really.

[00:05:56] You ain't really supposed to knock out the moneymaker in this.

[00:05:59] You know what I'm saying?

[00:05:59] So, you know what I'm saying?

[00:06:01] I don't know, Mike.

[00:06:01] If Mike Tyson take a dive, I'm gonna be real sad.

[00:06:05] One Mike podcast in the building Mondays and Thursdays.

[00:06:08] Check him out.

[00:06:09] You know, I think that, you know.

[00:06:11] I don't think if they gave Mike rules, he's gonna.

[00:06:13] If they gave Mike a rule saying like, listen, man.

[00:06:17] You can't do your famous two to the body, two to the head uppercut combo.

[00:06:22] No.

[00:06:23] I'm doing it.

[00:06:24] That literally got me robbing Gibbons in the Tiger.

[00:06:27] I'm doing that combo.

[00:06:29] No, like Logan Paul needs to go back to WWE.

[00:06:33] You know what I'm saying?

[00:06:34] He was a pretty great wrestler.

[00:06:35] You know what I mean?

[00:06:36] That move he did off the, when he jumped.

[00:06:38] On the rope.

[00:06:39] On the rope.

[00:06:40] Yeah.

[00:06:41] That's it.

[00:06:41] He was doing some X-Men level stuff.

[00:06:44] And, you know.

[00:06:44] And Jake Paul, you know.

[00:06:46] I want to see him fight like a real boxer.

[00:06:48] Like, I ain't saying go in there and fight Canelo or nothing like that.

[00:06:51] You know what I mean?

[00:06:52] Like, you know, even though he did call out Canelo.

[00:06:55] You know what I'm saying?

[00:06:56] He's 27 years old.

[00:06:57] You know what I'm saying?

[00:06:57] He's still young enough.

[00:06:58] I'm sure he trains.

[00:06:59] So, he all right.

[00:07:01] Go start a career.

[00:07:02] Okay.

[00:07:03] What is Canelo like off the top of your head?

[00:07:05] Like, what's the money he's getting for his fights?

[00:07:08] Is he getting like, is he getting eight figures guaranteed?

[00:07:12] Yeah.

[00:07:13] I mean, he's probably the highest boxer right now.

[00:07:15] So, if he had a fight for end of this month that was already on the books, he's getting 40, 50 million?

[00:07:25] Yeah.

[00:07:28] Because if he were to fight Jake Paul, I think that would do numbers.

[00:07:34] Especially if he didn't.

[00:07:35] It definitely would.

[00:07:36] But the only problem is Jake Paul wouldn't be able to talk afterwards.

[00:07:40] Who?

[00:07:41] I don't think the people in Saudi Arabia care.

[00:07:43] If they did it in Riyadh, they'd get 100 million.

[00:07:47] Matter of fact, well, I guess Magano is probably too big, so never mind.

[00:07:51] But you know what I mean?

[00:07:52] Like, if you're going to fight, just fight, man.

[00:07:54] Just fight.

[00:07:55] You know?

[00:07:55] But, all right.

[00:07:56] Get it off my chest.

[00:07:58] So, at the beginning of this season, Mr. Logical and I went through our conference previews.

[00:08:04] We landed on the ACC.

[00:08:07] And one of the first things that I said was, is Bill O'Brien going to try to turn Thomas Castellanos, or Castellanos, if you will, into a passer?

[00:08:19] Instead of using his athletic ability.

[00:08:21] Because, you know, we had the conversation that Jalen Milrow put us on with, you know, about how...

[00:08:28] What is it, Lank?

[00:08:29] You know what I'm saying?

[00:08:29] Let a...

[00:08:31] Let a day say or no.

[00:08:33] And...

[00:08:33] It's going to be great to see his being bite of the year, for sure.

[00:08:36] Yeah.

[00:08:36] But Bill O'Brien told him, like, you're not a quarterback, son.

[00:08:39] And he was going to use that as motivation.

[00:08:41] And all he did was become the best running back in the country, not named Ashton Jensie.

[00:08:46] But, you know, from there, you know, so I thought about Castellanos and I said, hey, Boston College could be a team that makes noise in the ACC, not from the standpoint of winning the conference, but they could be that eight and four spoiler team that nobody wants to play.

[00:09:01] That's how highly I thought of Castellanos.

[00:09:03] So anyway, you know, they started off the season, came into Tallahassee, beat up on my squad, you know, got out of there, lost to Missouri, one and one.

[00:09:13] Started five and one.

[00:09:15] They went through a three game losing streak to include their last game against Syracuse, where he was benched for Grayson James, who transferred in from Florida International.

[00:09:27] And he might be a bottom 800 quarterback that I've ever seen play college football.

[00:09:34] You know, so I get up.

[00:09:35] I get being upset about losing your job to that guy.

[00:09:39] But at the same time, he's a bum.

[00:09:43] So you might have your job back in another two weeks.

[00:09:48] But where we are in college football, the transfer portal NIL, before I go any further and before Mr.

[00:09:55] Logical tries to attack me.

[00:09:58] I support the transfer portal.

[00:10:00] I support NIL.

[00:10:02] What I don't support is running from adversity.

[00:10:06] So it would be one thing if this was the end of the season and he said, you know what?

[00:10:10] This ain't work out.

[00:10:11] I'm out of here.

[00:10:12] Because there is a rule.

[00:10:13] We saw Matt Schlock, you know, at UNLV.

[00:10:18] We saw Bear Alexander at USC.

[00:10:20] They played their four games.

[00:10:22] Red shirt.

[00:10:23] They keep that year of eligibility the next year.

[00:10:26] Well, you done already played nine games, dummy.

[00:10:29] You know, so you don't get that year back.

[00:10:32] You know, so you might as well finish out the year, not quit all your teammates, who I'm sure you probably made friends with, you know, over the course because you're a junior now.

[00:10:42] So, you know, now, with that being said, come to Tallahassee, bro.

[00:10:48] Come to death row.

[00:10:50] But on top of that, you got Miller Moss.

[00:10:52] You got Miller Moss at USC, you know, who got benched.

[00:10:57] He wasn't the problem per se, but he got benched for Jaden Mayava.

[00:11:03] You know, same thing.

[00:11:04] Rumors already, like, it hasn't even been a full week and everybody's like, he's headed to Michigan.

[00:11:09] You know, Castellanos, I've already seen five schools and he just left yesterday.

[00:11:15] So, like, you can't secede if you're always looking for the greener grass.

[00:11:22] Now, granted, here comes Saquon.

[00:11:24] Give me some fantasy points, but make me upset at the same time, you know, but you know.

[00:11:29] I have a guy on Saquon.

[00:11:31] So, when you get benched and you leave, where's the redemption story?

[00:11:40] You know, because what happens when you go to your next school and if you get beat out there, you're going to leave again?

[00:11:46] That's my problem with the transfer portal.

[00:11:48] I love the transfer portal from the standpoint of the players get a say, they get money, they get paid,

[00:11:54] because nobody's coming to the stadium to see the athletic director.

[00:11:58] You get that, Utah?

[00:12:00] You know, but that's all I'm saying.

[00:12:04] Oh, better than day, you know, came through.

[00:12:07] One mic.

[00:12:09] Oh, look who's in the building.

[00:12:10] Look who's in the building.

[00:12:12] Oh, the original fan of sports reports is ordered.

[00:12:17] Chris, what up?

[00:12:18] What up, Chris?

[00:12:19] But, you know, but that's how I feel, Mr. Logical, why you're going to eat on camera and shit, you know what I'm saying?

[00:12:25] But these kids, you know, I wasn't going to say soft.

[00:12:29] I wasn't going to say soft, but I was going to say they are – they need strong figures in their life to tell them,

[00:12:39] son, you're wrong.

[00:12:41] See it out at the end of the season, and if you decide to leave, if you decide to leave after that,

[00:12:46] if you decide that it's time for you to move on, you don't want to play for Bill O'Brien, okay.

[00:12:53] But you can't even venture.

[00:12:57] I don't get it.

[00:13:05] This is a perfect segue.

[00:13:08] Because what I was researching was an instant gratification.

[00:13:16] It's been like a phenomenon when you deal with the phones.

[00:13:21] We talked about growing up in our era.

[00:13:23] You had to work for opportunities because you didn't know everything that was out there.

[00:13:33] So if we looked at something as simple as you're 15, 16, you went to a high school football game.

[00:13:42] Now there's potentially an after party.

[00:13:45] It's either one at this place or it's one at this place.

[00:13:52] Well, you wanted to meet some girls.

[00:13:54] You're like, okay, we can go to the mall and hang out.

[00:13:56] We can go to the high school game.

[00:13:58] We can go to this party.

[00:13:59] Have some baby oil.

[00:14:01] So you had to, like, figure out where you were going and you had to make it work as far as your entertainment.

[00:14:08] I'm not saying like it's Chains of Girls or Entertainment, but you couldn't go everywhere at once.

[00:14:12] So once I got to the football game, there was no cell phone telling me, yo, it's popping at the mall.

[00:14:19] You should have came to the mall.

[00:14:20] Like, I'm at the game.

[00:14:21] I'm going to make it work at the game.

[00:14:23] This party is close to the game.

[00:14:25] I'm going to go there and I'm going to work on making it work here.

[00:14:29] This current regime, now that they have the access to knowing that, the Michigan quarterback situation is less than desirable and is an avenue for me to get from Boston College to Michigan if necessary.

[00:14:46] Or USC to Texas Tech.

[00:14:49] Like, you know that even though you're in Southern California, you know it when you're in Massachusetts.

[00:14:55] So that can cloud what you, your judgment.

[00:15:00] And because of that, I don't fault guys for wanting to go to these different places.

[00:15:06] I fault the people who are advising them on how they go about it.

[00:15:12] Because I'll tell you, if you, I'll give you a prime example.

[00:15:15] I, when my son played football after his first year, I moved him up his second year because I thought it was the best thing for him.

[00:15:25] Like, yo, you should move up.

[00:15:26] You should play this level.

[00:15:27] You should play a lot.

[00:15:27] And I did all these things and I convinced him essentially like that was moving.

[00:15:32] That was a good thing.

[00:15:32] And granted, he wanted to.

[00:15:35] But if I was getting advice from someone else and not seeking that instant gratification of seeing like, oh, my son moved up.

[00:15:42] After I did that, I realized I need to stay the hell out of the way.

[00:15:47] But I had to take that year to figure out like, I'm not a recruiter dad.

[00:15:53] That's not my job.

[00:15:54] My job isn't to put him in all these different, like my job is to make sure he gets to whatever practice he needs to get to.

[00:15:59] He has all the equipment he needs, all the food he needs, all the water.

[00:16:03] And to support him on the field, off the field, at home, wherever he needs to be.

[00:16:07] Like, that's my job.

[00:16:08] My job isn't to see how far I can make him elevate in football.

[00:16:12] But I didn't understand that piece because I wasn't seeking that advice.

[00:16:18] These guys aren't probably getting the right advice.

[00:16:22] Getting benched in the game where you're playing poorly and your team turns around and wins and you know you're better than the other guy they put you in for, take your lumps.

[00:16:32] But if you're out there and a guy is starting multiple games and it's clear you are better than him and you are wasting your time, get out of Dodge.

[00:16:45] And that's the difference.

[00:16:46] I think a lot of times these guys are just in a situation where they underperform and coach is like, listen, your performance is tied to my employment.

[00:16:55] I can't keep riding with your performance being this low and my employment on the line.

[00:17:01] So I'm like, I got to make a move.

[00:17:05] They came back to win that game against Syracuse.

[00:17:08] But watch.

[00:17:09] They got 200 yards rushing.

[00:17:10] But watch Grayson James come out there this weekend and when they get beat 41-10 by SMU, we'll see what's up.

[00:17:19] You know what I'm saying?

[00:17:20] But you walked out.

[00:17:21] So there's nothing to see now because the advisors, you're a meal ticket to them.

[00:17:29] You know what I mean?

[00:17:30] And that's fine.

[00:17:31] You know what I mean?

[00:17:31] If that's your agreement.

[00:17:33] I think people, athletes have talked about this.

[00:17:36] We talk about this all the time.

[00:17:38] There are top 100, top 300, top 250 different websites ranking different high school players coming out every year.

[00:17:50] There's guys that were ranked ahead of LeBron, ahead of D-Wade in their senior year.

[00:17:55] There was guys ranked ahead of Archie Manning.

[00:17:58] Guys ranked ahead of Peyton Manning.

[00:18:01] There was guys ranked ahead of Tom Brady.

[00:18:03] There was guys.

[00:18:03] There's guys ranked in all these different positions all over the place.

[00:18:07] It just comes down to when you as an individual get your opportunity, how'd you capitalize?

[00:18:14] How'd you deal with adversity?

[00:18:16] Tom Brady kept getting benched for this guy, Drew Henson out of Michigan because he was a local star, multiple sports star.

[00:18:23] He was like number one player in a couple of different sports.

[00:18:28] And they just wanted to get him out there.

[00:18:30] He ended up playing.

[00:18:31] I think he played for the Yankees and he played for the Cowboys.

[00:18:34] Talk about Lenny Cook.

[00:18:36] Lenny Cook's still out here doing interviews talking about how he was ranked higher than LeBron.

[00:18:41] No one cares.

[00:18:43] What did you do when you had your opportunity?

[00:18:45] You can ruin your opportunity by transferring too much.

[00:18:49] What's the ball name that went to Rice and went to USC?

[00:18:52] JT Daniels.

[00:18:53] JT Daniels.

[00:18:54] He probably was, I think he was like highly rated top five quarterback.

[00:18:58] Went to Georgia, West Virginia, Rice.

[00:19:01] Rice, USC.

[00:19:03] I'm sure there was another one too.

[00:19:04] Yeah, I think it was five total.

[00:19:05] I think it was five schools.

[00:19:06] And this is pre-NIL transfer for it.

[00:19:09] He just was like, sometimes you might have to sit your ass down and see what do I need to work on?

[00:19:17] Am I at a good school?

[00:19:19] Am I working with a good coach?

[00:19:22] Do I have the respect of my teammates?

[00:19:24] If that's gone, then leave.

[00:19:27] But if you're literally going to transfer because you were having a bad game and the coach pulled you out,

[00:19:34] so you just got to deal with it.

[00:19:36] But like I said, I understand.

[00:19:37] And I understand that coaches will use you for their benefit as well.

[00:19:41] So I'm not going to, I'm not, I'm also an advocate for the player.

[00:19:44] Like I understand, like a coach will beg you to come out and play for their team until another player,

[00:19:50] your position show just happens to show up and you will be second string.

[00:19:55] But they'll beg you all off season.

[00:19:57] Hey man, you should come play at you.

[00:19:58] Come play basketball.

[00:19:59] Come play point guard for me.

[00:20:00] And all of a sudden Lou Williams decides to transfer in.

[00:20:04] It's like, now you on the bench.

[00:20:06] Or like Lou said it, one of his, I saw this podcast this week.

[00:20:09] He said that after his freshman year, the first day of tryouts, the coach came out and said,

[00:20:16] if you're trying out for point guard or shooting guard, you can go ahead and leave now.

[00:20:23] You know, and that's the thing, you know, like he, like I said, he got benched for a player that's lesser than maybe the guy is a better fit.

[00:20:32] We'll see, you know, but from what I've seen, I don't think so.

[00:20:36] But here we go.

[00:20:37] Y'all, you know what I'm saying?

[00:20:38] It's time to start with these picks, you know?

[00:20:42] So of course, triumph of misery.

[00:20:46] The Buffalo Bills have played the Kansas City quite a few times over the last couple of years.

[00:20:54] You know, and we've seen it all.

[00:20:56] We saw the AFC championship game with 13 seconds left.

[00:21:01] Patrick Mahomes led the team down the field for the field goal.

[00:21:04] That might be one of the most unbelievable drives in the history of football.

[00:21:08] And I don't think people give it the credit that deserves if you think about it.

[00:21:11] 100%.

[00:21:11] What this guy, what this team did.

[00:21:14] 100%.

[00:21:14] 13 seconds left.

[00:21:16] And then, you know, we saw Travis Kelsey try to pull off one of the greatest plays in NFL history last year.

[00:21:23] And it was called back on the toss to Kadarius Toney.

[00:21:27] Only because it was a whole foot outside.

[00:21:28] Then we get to the playoffs.

[00:21:30] The Kansas City Chiefs have a chance to put the game away.

[00:21:33] Mecole Hardman fumbles in the end zone.

[00:21:35] Touchback.

[00:21:36] Buffalo gets the ball.

[00:21:38] Missed field goal.

[00:21:40] Kansas City triumphs the game.

[00:21:41] I'm talking about that touchback.

[00:21:42] NFL, look at me.

[00:21:43] Do not change that rule.

[00:21:46] I know people clamor for it because it happened a few times last year.

[00:21:50] I'm looking right at the camera.

[00:21:51] I rarely do that.

[00:21:51] Do not change that rule.

[00:21:53] And you know, if you phone what I said at the end zone, the defense did their job.

[00:21:58] The other team gets the ball.

[00:22:00] Well, you know, they actually changed the overtime after that 13-second game because Josh Allen didn't get to touch the ball.

[00:22:08] And what ended up happening was the Bills haven't won an overtime game since they changed the rule for them.

[00:22:16] And the thing about it, that rule change got Kansas City a Super Bowl.

[00:22:21] It did.

[00:22:22] Because they got the ball second.

[00:22:23] The game would have been over.

[00:22:25] And Josh Allen in his last six games against Kansas City, passer rating 101.2, 1679 yards, 14 touchdowns, two interceptions.

[00:22:39] So it ain't a Josh Allen thing.

[00:22:41] But in the playoff game last year, they did something a little different.

[00:22:45] They turned Josh Allen into what we're seeing Justin Herbert.

[00:22:48] We ain't going to get into that again.

[00:22:49] But they turned Josh Allen into what Justin Herbert is this year, you know, for the purposes of that game.

[00:22:56] They didn't want him to turn the ball over.

[00:22:58] They didn't want him to force the ball.

[00:23:00] Stephon Diggs dropped the big pass.

[00:23:02] So here we are, Mr. Logical.

[00:23:06] Sunday, Orchard Park.

[00:23:09] Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills.

[00:23:13] But what say you?

[00:23:14] I think Kansas City is a very complete team.

[00:23:25] I think all the pieces that they have work.

[00:23:29] I just feel that all the games out of this year, the nine games they played this year, I haven't seen this.

[00:23:39] And I could be wrong, but I'm just going to say this.

[00:23:41] And it seems like a crazy thing.

[00:23:45] Each team essentially will get the ball in the first quarter at some point.

[00:23:49] Either you win the toss or you get a stop or you score, you get the ball back.

[00:23:52] I need to see Kansas City give me an open and drive touchdown, get the ball back, get a field goal, and then sometime in the second quarter, get another touchdown, go on a halftime, 17 to 20 points on the board.

[00:24:09] Right.

[00:24:10] Because they're Kansas City.

[00:24:12] And because they haven't done that, that's the part that leads me to not pick them week after week.

[00:24:20] Like, with my chest.

[00:24:21] Like, I can pick them with, like, analytics.

[00:24:23] Well, you know, they're ranked top five defense against the run, against the pass.

[00:24:27] They have Chris Jones in the middle.

[00:24:30] It's very disruptive.

[00:24:31] But ultimately, like, I need them to put a drive together to where, a couple of drives together where it looks like we are going to get this touchdown.

[00:24:40] Like, the drive starts off that way.

[00:24:42] I don't want, like, some miracle third and 12 completion and then they get a second.

[00:24:46] Like, I need, like, consistent boom.

[00:24:49] Kelsey's in the middle.

[00:24:50] He's open.

[00:24:51] Patrick hits him.

[00:24:52] Like, in the game against Denver, Kelsey's wide open in the back of the end zone.

[00:24:57] And Mahomes airmails it.

[00:24:59] It was no one there.

[00:25:01] I don't know.

[00:25:01] Maybe it was somebody underneath that he had to, like, go up and over and get the ball down.

[00:25:06] Right.

[00:25:06] And it never just came back down.

[00:25:07] But when you look at Kelsey, he's back there by himself.

[00:25:10] First of all, I'm not even, like, Kelsey wide open in the back of the end zone.

[00:25:13] That's on Denver.

[00:25:14] But in the same sense, it's like, I need to see, I need to see a couple touchdown drives and a good drive get you a field goal.

[00:25:22] 17 first half points.

[00:25:24] If you give me 17 first half points and you're moving the ball consistently, then I feel more confident.

[00:25:31] I just think Buffalo can get to 30 points no matter what.

[00:25:36] They are just going to get to 30 points.

[00:25:39] Not against Kansas City, but, like, I just think that they can get to 30.

[00:25:43] Even without their weapons, I just think that they're just capable of getting 30 points.

[00:25:48] So, if I'm not seeing Kansas City comfortably get to 20 points week in and week out, like, they got to 22 against Atlanta.

[00:25:57] Atlanta got the ball back and could have gone, could have scored a touchdown.

[00:26:01] Kyle Pitts said, like, people said, the interference.

[00:26:04] But then Kansas City can't even wrap back out.

[00:26:06] You know, like, Patrick Mahomes, six minutes left.

[00:26:09] Oh, that's a wrap.

[00:26:10] They up five.

[00:26:11] He's going to get the three first downs they need to get them to the two-minute warning and then move them in the field goal range and at least get the field goal to go up eight.

[00:26:21] Like, that's what you expect when Patrick Mahomes comes on the field.

[00:26:24] I haven't seen that at all this year, and that's why I'm picking Buffalo to end the winning streak this weekend.

[00:26:32] You know what?

[00:26:32] I'm so excited I'm about to jump through this table.

[00:26:36] Like, I'm right up in Orchard Park.

[00:26:39] You know what I'm saying?

[00:26:40] So, check me out.

[00:26:41] You know what I'm saying?

[00:26:41] So, Amari Cooper's back this week.

[00:26:43] But our guy, you know, friend of the show, he just don't know it yet.

[00:26:47] Keon Coleman is not going to be there.

[00:26:49] You know, so this is Buffalo this season.

[00:26:54] Ready for this one, Mike?

[00:26:56] So, at home versus on the road.

[00:27:01] They scored 12.1 more points per game at home.

[00:27:07] So, that's number one.

[00:27:08] Number two, this is not vintage Patrick Mahomes.

[00:27:13] This is I don't know who.

[00:27:16] Like, you know, he went out there and dressed up in a Matt Jones costume or something.

[00:27:20] 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

[00:27:22] Who is this guy?

[00:27:24] You know, first of all, yeah, for real, Chris.

[00:27:27] You know, 72 Dolphins, rest in peace, Mercury Morris.

[00:27:31] You know, Buffalo didn't.

[00:27:33] Don't call me when you're in my neighborhood.

[00:27:34] Call me when you're in my house.

[00:27:36] No, so Buffalo didn't.

[00:27:38] Don't call me when you're in my town.

[00:27:38] Call me when you're in my neighborhood.

[00:27:39] That's what he said, yeah.

[00:27:40] Buffalo didn't lose the playoff game because they were too conservative.

[00:27:44] Buffalo didn't lose the playoff game because Stefan Diggs dropped the pass.

[00:27:48] The reason that they lost that game is because they were too conservative

[00:27:52] and they weren't the Buffalo Bills.

[00:27:55] You can't contain somebody like Josh Allen.

[00:27:58] You have to let him freelance and just deal with the result.

[00:28:02] I think they get back to that this weekend.

[00:28:04] I look for Buffalo to run some screens on first and second down to get Chris Jones

[00:28:09] and those guys to think about it and maybe delay a half a second because that's all it takes.

[00:28:15] You know, I think that in this game we're going to see a lot of Dalton Kincaid.

[00:28:19] You know, hopefully.

[00:28:20] I thought he was listening as doubtful.

[00:28:22] Well, if he's doubtful, then give me Dawson.

[00:28:25] But my overall point is the tight ends, I think the tight ends are going to prove a weakness

[00:28:30] in Kansas City's defense.

[00:28:32] You know, Wanya Morris is questionable on the offensive line for Kansas City.

[00:28:37] Knock, knock.

[00:28:37] Who's there?

[00:28:38] Von Miller on your ass.

[00:28:40] All the roids.

[00:28:42] All the roids.

[00:28:43] You know what I'm saying?

[00:28:45] That shit don't just fade away.

[00:28:46] I love how they get suspended for like a couple of games.

[00:28:48] Like, I already got strong.

[00:28:50] So, yeah.

[00:28:51] So, give me Buffalo.

[00:28:52] Give me Buffalo.

[00:28:53] I'm going to call it a little bit low.

[00:28:55] I know you brought up 30 points, not necessarily saying that Buffalo's going to score 30 this week.

[00:28:59] I just feel like throughout this year, they have shown the capability of getting 30 points.

[00:29:04] I don't think Kansas City's clipped 28 yet.

[00:29:06] But I'm going to go 27-21 with a Patrick Mahomes Hail Mary attempt falling to the ground.

[00:29:12] Oh, if he throws a Hail Mary, Tim's going to be a passing interference.

[00:29:14] No, if he throws a Hail Mary, they're going to win.

[00:29:17] You see how – you see they got that shamrock this year.

[00:29:21] All right.

[00:29:22] So, let's go to – I don't even know how to pronounce the stadium.

[00:29:25] Is it a seizure?

[00:29:26] I don't even know how to say it.

[00:29:27] But let's go to Pittsburgh.

[00:29:29] It's a seizure.

[00:29:30] Whatever it is, that shit is the ketchup bottle.

[00:29:33] That shit is high in city.

[00:29:35] High in city.

[00:29:37] So, Baltimore is coming in.

[00:29:39] Like Arrowhead called Gaha Field.

[00:29:40] No, it's Arrowhead.

[00:29:41] I don't care who paid.

[00:29:42] It's Arrowhead.

[00:29:44] Yeah, so the Ravens are coming in.

[00:29:46] You know, Lamar Jackson, one in three career against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

[00:29:51] How did he miss four games?

[00:29:53] Because he always hurt.

[00:29:55] And he won MVP in 2019, right?

[00:29:58] Yeah.

[00:29:59] That's ten games.

[00:30:01] He been getting hurt.

[00:30:02] He missed six games against Pittsburgh?

[00:30:04] I know that he missed five games the one year where Huntley came in and took him to the playoffs when Huntley went for the dive and fumbled in Cincinnati.

[00:30:14] He missed five games that year.

[00:30:16] And then he also missed five games the year before that.

[00:30:20] So, you know.

[00:30:21] The Steelers game's been in that ring.

[00:30:23] Yeah, Lamar Jackson.

[00:30:25] And I was like, one in three?

[00:30:27] He had two MVPs.

[00:30:29] You need to tell me he only played his division opponents before.

[00:30:33] So, you know.

[00:30:34] So, Lamar Jackson in his career, more interceptions than touchdowns against the Steelers.

[00:30:39] You know.

[00:30:39] So, let me ask you a question, Mr. Logical.

[00:30:42] And, you know what I'm saying?

[00:30:43] I know Mike going to chime in too.

[00:30:44] But let me know what y'all think about this.

[00:30:46] I was trying to figure it out.

[00:30:47] Do you think that it hurt or helped Pittsburgh to play against Jaden Daniels the week before they play Lamar Jackson?

[00:30:58] Or do you think it makes no difference?

[00:31:01] I don't think it makes a difference because what you get with Jaden is there is clear athleticism,

[00:31:11] but it's not implemented the way that Lamar utilizes his athleticism.

[00:31:16] That's a pro bowler, Mike.

[00:31:18] He's a pro bowler.

[00:31:19] Shout out to the University of Utah.

[00:31:21] Utah used to recruit the hell out of Florida.

[00:31:24] I don't know how you convinced dudes from Florida to come to Salt Lake, but they were doing it.

[00:31:28] White girls.

[00:31:29] Yeah, that helped.

[00:31:30] Oh, now we're not getting.

[00:31:32] Sorry, Dr. Umar.

[00:31:34] I'm so sorry, Dr. Umar.

[00:31:36] Listen, if you ever go to Salt Lake, you'll see what you're talking about.

[00:31:39] Everyone's very polite.

[00:31:41] All the people.

[00:31:44] Yeah, so I don't think so because, like I said, Lamar, that play against Cincinnati last week where he ran,

[00:31:51] I'm screaming, throw it, throw it, throw it, throw it, throw it.

[00:31:53] He just tiptoed down the sideline and dove at the one-yard line.

[00:31:57] Jaden Daniels is not doing that.

[00:31:58] Not yet.

[00:31:59] Okay.

[00:32:00] He's not moving the same way yet.

[00:32:02] Okay.

[00:32:02] I think all those years of this, like I thought they would see Lamar Jackson a lot more.

[00:32:08] Like it just seems like a, I didn't think he only played four games against them, but I like Pittsburgh.

[00:32:19] They're, they're, they're the defense.

[00:32:22] And they talked about it a lot in the Cincinnati game.

[00:32:25] And I was like the first time I really sat and like watched the full standalone Baltimore game this year.

[00:32:30] Cause you know, in prime time or whatever, the linebackers seem to be really good in run defense.

[00:32:41] And they, they don't pass off the, the zone passing responsibilities the same way.

[00:32:48] Like that Jamar Chase, uh, touchdown.

[00:32:51] He just ran like a dig route and the linebackers, I think Rick Juan Smith dropped, but they both dropped kind of like this direction.

[00:33:02] And Jamar Chase came underneath and caught the pass.

[00:33:05] So it looked like it was five defenders around him, but two of them looked like they both dropped out of the way.

[00:33:12] Like they dropped like, you know, like, you know, counted to his path.

[00:33:16] So he caught the ball coming this way.

[00:33:19] They're backing up this way.

[00:33:20] So when they see him catch the ball underneath, they have to readjust and try to catch Jamar Chase from behind.

[00:33:25] It's like, it's impossible.

[00:33:27] Not happening.

[00:33:27] Yeah.

[00:33:28] That happened a lot.

[00:33:29] So it just seems as if, and without Kyle Hamilton coming down, being the guy in the box and he can't catch.

[00:33:36] Like his, his hands are just bad.

[00:33:38] So if you can catch an interception, they'd be all right.

[00:33:40] But he's such a great tackler.

[00:33:43] It's like, it's, it's a confusion.

[00:33:45] Like where he, I don't know if he can, I don't know if his ball seals, Paul's are that great on the back end, but him good in the box.

[00:33:52] So they're great at run defense.

[00:33:53] I just think that they can be exploited with the pass.

[00:33:59] Yeah.

[00:33:59] So, you know, the Steelers swept the Ravens last year, touchdown Saquon, or maybe he's down.

[00:34:07] And of course, and of course, one of those games was at the end of the year, last game of the season, starters sat down, all that stuff.

[00:34:15] But in the last seven matchups.

[00:34:17] Saquon's face is like, I know we're doing a damn push push now.

[00:34:20] I know.

[00:34:21] Jalen about to sneak another touchdown away.

[00:34:23] I think he scored though.

[00:34:25] Let's look at it.

[00:34:26] Up, up, up.

[00:34:27] No, he's down.

[00:34:27] He's down.

[00:34:28] He's down.

[00:34:28] Yeah.

[00:34:29] Yeah.

[00:34:29] So, so, so the Steelers have held the Ravens below 20 points in each of their last seven matchups.

[00:34:36] And, you know, these matchups always come down to the wire.

[00:34:40] You know, like remember the one year we talked about Harbaugh going to get fired because he kept going for two.

[00:34:46] He went for two in Pittsburgh, you know, and lost that game.

[00:34:49] Last year, in that first game, Baltimore up 14 to 10.

[00:34:53] Guess what?

[00:34:53] George Pickens, you know, down the field deep, you know, to win that game.

[00:34:58] You know, Pittsburgh needs to keep Baltimore in third and long.

[00:35:02] Make Lamar have to complete third and nines, third and eights, things along those lines.

[00:35:08] Obviously, he's going to get some yards with his feet, but, you know, it is what it is.

[00:35:14] And Jalen Hurts is a damn thief.

[00:35:16] Yo, I cannot stand that they call that.

[00:35:19] I, I know we're getting sidetracked.

[00:35:23] I know for a fact that Sirianni has to know that when the running back runs it down to the one yard line,

[00:35:31] a pseudo marginalized group in the NFL who's not getting paid because people feel like your production can be replaced.

[00:35:38] And this man missed the extra point.

[00:35:40] They're going to keep doing that shit until he separates a shoulder or gets knocked in the head.

[00:35:44] He's going to give the ball to the running back, especially when you got Saquon Barkley.

[00:35:48] Especially when he's on my fantasy team.

[00:35:50] When you're paying him $39 million.

[00:35:53] That too.

[00:35:54] I'm back on track.

[00:35:55] But Joey Porter Jr.

[00:35:58] Has to find a way to keep his hands to himself because, you know, he's like Ahmed Gardner in that way.

[00:36:04] We're not calling him Sauce.

[00:36:06] Ahmad Gardner.

[00:36:07] That's his name.

[00:36:08] You know, and then you look at this.

[00:36:12] It's the Steelers' first division game.

[00:36:14] It's crazy.

[00:36:16] Which is crazy.

[00:36:17] This late in the season.

[00:36:19] But I'm going to take the Ravens.

[00:36:21] And I'm going to call it 21 to 13.

[00:36:25] You're going to.

[00:36:31] At Pittsburgh.

[00:36:32] I'm going to go on the line.

[00:36:34] I'm going to ride and die with my bad news.

[00:36:38] With the Black Air Force Ones.

[00:36:39] Black Air Force One Energy.

[00:36:41] I'm taking Mike Tomlin.

[00:36:44] I don't know.

[00:36:45] I just think they're playing with house money.

[00:36:47] And they know it.

[00:36:49] But, and Tom, he just has like a.

[00:36:53] He just has the AFC North's number.

[00:36:56] Because the reason that he's over 500 every year is that.

[00:37:01] Two of the three teams just can't beat them.

[00:37:04] Yeah.

[00:37:04] Like every year they're like four and two.

[00:37:07] It seems like in a division.

[00:37:08] Even though they're 500 in the rest of their games.

[00:37:12] They get four wins from the division.

[00:37:15] No matter what.

[00:37:15] And it's like, how is that the case?

[00:37:17] And that's always.

[00:37:19] Yeah.

[00:37:20] But, you know.

[00:37:21] The.

[00:37:22] The past defense for.

[00:37:25] Baltimore.

[00:37:27] How do you.

[00:37:28] Terrible.

[00:37:28] Have the offense come back and go 28-21.

[00:37:31] Two point conversion to go 28-21.

[00:37:33] And give up a 78 yard bomb.

[00:37:36] A 70 yard bomb.

[00:37:38] To Jamar.

[00:37:39] That secondary is horrible.

[00:37:40] Outside of common.

[00:37:41] Of all people.

[00:37:42] I don't care what the coverage is supposed to be.

[00:37:45] If I see one running fast as shit near me.

[00:37:50] Now I'm taking that.

[00:37:51] You can have whatever you want underneath.

[00:37:53] This dude's running a go route.

[00:37:54] I'm going with him.

[00:37:57] All right.

[00:37:57] So let's go to the craziest division in the NFL.

[00:37:59] The NFC West.

[00:38:01] Where we have the San Francisco 49ers.

[00:38:05] Hosting the Seattle Seahawks.

[00:38:06] This is a rematch from a Thursday night football game.

[00:38:09] A couple of weeks ago.

[00:38:10] Where Seattle had chance after chance.

[00:38:12] After chance.

[00:38:13] After chance.

[00:38:14] To put the 49ers away.

[00:38:16] They couldn't score in the red zone.

[00:38:18] Lowest red zone touchdown percentage in the NFL.

[00:38:21] They ain't beating the 49ers this time either.

[00:38:26] Okay.

[00:38:27] Packers.

[00:38:28] Hands off the.

[00:38:29] Yo.

[00:38:29] Shout out to the launch snapper.

[00:38:31] For stepping up.

[00:38:32] And slapping the hell out of Debo.

[00:38:35] I thought Debo choked him.

[00:38:36] Nah.

[00:38:37] He put.

[00:38:37] He pushed.

[00:38:38] He like pushed.

[00:38:40] He was saying something to Moody.

[00:38:42] And the.

[00:38:42] The launch snapper stepped up like.

[00:38:44] Yo.

[00:38:45] Watch your mouth.

[00:38:46] You walking in here like a single mom.

[00:38:49] With your little leather jacket.

[00:38:50] And your little baby shorts.

[00:38:51] Now you trying to be tough on the sideline.

[00:38:54] I can't be mad.

[00:38:54] I mean Jake Moody did miss three field goals.

[00:38:57] I don't care.

[00:38:58] You.

[00:38:58] You.

[00:38:59] Listen.

[00:38:59] Debo didn't drop some balls.

[00:39:01] He didn't fumble.

[00:39:01] No one ran up on him.

[00:39:03] He done missed some games.

[00:39:04] He didn't walked in the games.

[00:39:06] With bell bottoms on.

[00:39:07] And little leather shorts.

[00:39:09] And Louis Vuitton.

[00:39:11] Bride of Mary Jean shoes.

[00:39:13] Like get out of here.

[00:39:14] Don't be acting all tough.

[00:39:16] With the.

[00:39:17] Long snapper.

[00:39:17] And the kicker.

[00:39:18] Look at this.

[00:39:19] Look at this.

[00:39:20] You saw that.

[00:39:21] Queen Yon Mitchell.

[00:39:22] Been.

[00:39:22] Up against.

[00:39:23] When he's up on McLaurin.

[00:39:25] They haven't targeted him one time.

[00:39:27] You know.

[00:39:28] But hey.

[00:39:28] Third leading receiver in the NFL.

[00:39:30] What do I know?

[00:39:31] But hey.

[00:39:32] Packers and Bears.

[00:39:33] You know.

[00:39:33] We talked about Thomas Brown the other day.

[00:39:35] Taking over as offensive coordinator.

[00:39:37] I don't expect much to change.

[00:39:40] You know.

[00:39:40] Green Bay is a high variance team.

[00:39:42] I'm calling it now.

[00:39:43] What's today?

[00:39:43] What's today?

[00:39:44] November.

[00:39:45] 14th.

[00:39:46] Yes.

[00:39:46] Yeah.

[00:39:46] Caleb Williams is not a good quarterback.

[00:39:48] Yeah.

[00:39:49] I'm calling it right now.

[00:39:50] This.

[00:39:51] His career will be.

[00:39:52] It'll fizzle out.

[00:39:53] Okay.

[00:39:54] In the next couple of years.

[00:39:54] I just don't think he's a good quarterback.

[00:39:56] Okay.

[00:39:56] I don't like his temperament.

[00:39:57] I don't like his accuracy.

[00:39:58] I don't like his decision making.

[00:40:00] I don't like the fact that he keeps making the same mistakes.

[00:40:03] She's a stride.

[00:40:04] Pulled him to the side.

[00:40:06] A month ago.

[00:40:07] Caleb football.

[00:40:08] They want to hear that.

[00:40:12] Top.

[00:40:12] Stop taking so many hits.

[00:40:13] Even if you didn't get anything else from that game.

[00:40:17] So.

[00:40:17] The fact that the other guy your age was like, yo.

[00:40:20] Dog.

[00:40:20] Stop taking so many hits.

[00:40:22] So.

[00:40:23] So Green Bay.

[00:40:24] Green Bay is a high variance team.

[00:40:26] You know.

[00:40:28] Jordan Love is going to turn the ball over.

[00:40:31] And.

[00:40:31] Xavier McKinney is going to take the ball back from you.

[00:40:34] You know.

[00:40:34] Jordan Love has been hurt all year.

[00:40:36] You know.

[00:40:37] I think he's still got some growing stuff going on.

[00:40:39] You know.

[00:40:40] They're going into Soldier Field.

[00:40:42] And this is the game.

[00:40:43] Same thing that I kind of said about Buffalo.

[00:40:45] This is where I look for Cole Komet.

[00:40:47] To establish himself.

[00:40:49] You know.

[00:40:50] Last year.

[00:40:51] 73.

[00:40:52] That's a good quarterback with though the check down.

[00:40:54] Well yeah.

[00:40:54] And that's what you would think.

[00:40:56] With a rookie quarterback.

[00:40:57] You would expect.

[00:40:58] A safety blanket.

[00:41:00] He's six foot six.

[00:41:01] Yeah.

[00:41:02] And last year he had 73 catches on 90 targets.

[00:41:05] This year.

[00:41:05] And right on cue.

[00:41:07] Third and long.

[00:41:08] Zach Ertz.

[00:41:08] Zach Ertz gets the pass from Jane Daniels.

[00:41:11] Yeah.

[00:41:11] Get your back foot.

[00:41:12] Throw it to the read.

[00:41:13] He never does that.

[00:41:15] And DJ Moore is upset because.

[00:41:17] You imagine.

[00:41:18] He's your number one guy.

[00:41:19] He's probably the read on.

[00:41:21] Let's say 40% of their pass plays.

[00:41:24] He's probably the number one read.

[00:41:26] Yeah.

[00:41:26] How many targets do you think he gets?

[00:41:28] He doesn't get 40% of the targets.

[00:41:30] Right.

[00:41:30] Because Caleb doesn't throw it.

[00:41:32] Like yo.

[00:41:33] Because he's not accurate.

[00:41:33] He doesn't trust it.

[00:41:34] I'm not knocking him.

[00:41:36] I just feel like.

[00:41:37] At some point.

[00:41:38] You got to be like.

[00:41:39] Yo.

[00:41:39] You got to learn.

[00:41:40] How to play this position.

[00:41:41] And I don't think he's learning.

[00:41:42] I don't think he's adjusting.

[00:41:43] I think he's.

[00:41:44] I think he's regressing every single week.

[00:41:47] Did you see this.

[00:41:48] Jaquan Brisker story.

[00:41:50] I heard about the concussion.

[00:41:52] He went back in that game.

[00:41:54] And he's been out.

[00:41:55] Ever since.

[00:41:56] That injury.

[00:41:57] Yeah.

[00:41:57] He got cleared.

[00:41:58] He got cleared.

[00:41:59] And then they said that.

[00:42:00] The next day.

[00:42:01] His symptoms came back.

[00:42:03] And then.

[00:42:04] He hit his head.

[00:42:05] Between the end of the game.

[00:42:06] And the next day.

[00:42:07] I don't know.

[00:42:08] But now.

[00:42:09] This is his fifth straight game.

[00:42:11] That he's missing.

[00:42:12] Does he have an injury to his skull?

[00:42:15] Does he have a.

[00:42:16] I like forget a concussion.

[00:42:18] Yes.

[00:42:18] I'm saying like.

[00:42:19] Does he have like an actual physical.

[00:42:22] I don't know.

[00:42:23] It's scary.

[00:42:23] And I'm praying for him.

[00:42:24] In his skull.

[00:42:25] I'm praying for him.

[00:42:26] But.

[00:42:26] I expect.

[00:42:27] He has been in the system for a month.

[00:42:29] Yeah.

[00:42:30] I expect a lot of Josh Jacobs in this game.

[00:42:33] You know.

[00:42:34] I think Green Bay is going to win this game.

[00:42:36] Fairly easily.

[00:42:37] Like I think the Bears defense will.

[00:42:39] Keep them around.

[00:42:41] So it'll be one of those games.

[00:42:43] Where it's close.

[00:42:44] Going into the fourth quarter.

[00:42:45] Green Bay.

[00:42:46] Add on a touchdown.

[00:42:47] And a field goal.

[00:42:48] And 24 to nine.

[00:42:50] Something along those lines.

[00:42:51] I think it's business decision time.

[00:42:53] For a lot of players.

[00:42:55] Yeah.

[00:42:55] I like that game.

[00:42:56] That game against.

[00:42:57] New Orleans had a game.

[00:42:59] And they were getting mollywhopped.

[00:43:01] And guys suddenly had tight hamstrings.

[00:43:06] Couldn't come back in the second half.

[00:43:08] I think we're getting to that point in Chicago.

[00:43:10] Where it's like.

[00:43:12] I'm saving myself for my next game.

[00:43:13] Well you know.

[00:43:14] According to.

[00:43:15] You're getting a new coach.

[00:43:17] Like.

[00:43:18] Everyone.

[00:43:19] Any person knows.

[00:43:20] You're getting a new coach.

[00:43:23] Oh my goodness.

[00:43:24] Stuffed it up.

[00:43:25] Yeah.

[00:43:26] Going forward on fourth down.

[00:43:27] It's going to be a read option.

[00:43:28] And Jaden is going to keep it.

[00:43:29] And then they're going to get stopped.

[00:43:30] I figured in my nose in the summer.

[00:43:32] Yeah.

[00:43:33] So.

[00:43:34] I think it's going to be a lot of business decisions.

[00:43:36] I just.

[00:43:36] I.

[00:43:37] Just being.

[00:43:39] Like I said.

[00:43:40] Just being like a sports dad.

[00:43:42] And just kind of.

[00:43:44] I've been around like.

[00:43:45] Teams.

[00:43:46] And I've.

[00:43:46] And I've watched.

[00:43:47] Something.

[00:43:48] I don't say I studied.

[00:43:48] But it's something I paid attention to.

[00:43:51] Everybody.

[00:43:53] When it's going bad.

[00:43:54] I've watched.

[00:43:56] Parents.

[00:43:57] Coaches.

[00:43:58] Mm hmm.

[00:44:00] Nope.

[00:44:01] Nope.

[00:44:02] Didn't get it.

[00:44:02] I watched.

[00:44:03] You bothered the snap.

[00:44:04] Coaches.

[00:44:05] I've watched players.

[00:44:07] I've seen.

[00:44:08] The.

[00:44:09] Like.

[00:44:09] Like the regression of emotion.

[00:44:12] From.

[00:44:13] Being successful early on.

[00:44:16] To it just kind of falling apart.

[00:44:17] That's how games end up.

[00:44:19] 42 to 10.

[00:44:21] Because at some point.

[00:44:22] The game was.

[00:44:23] 7-0.

[00:44:24] Cool.

[00:44:25] Then it's 14-0.

[00:44:26] But then after like.

[00:44:27] It's 21-0.

[00:44:29] Guys.

[00:44:30] Check out.

[00:44:31] So do you think that.

[00:44:32] These vets really wanted.

[00:44:33] Tyson Bajit.

[00:44:35] I think they probably.

[00:44:36] Are sick of Caleb.

[00:44:38] Like.

[00:44:39] Me.

[00:44:40] We've seen him.

[00:44:40] We've seen him publicly.

[00:44:44] Like Bo Nix.

[00:44:45] Bo Nix at the podium.

[00:44:46] When he got in an argument.

[00:44:48] With Sean Payton on the sideline.

[00:44:50] And the reporter asked him.

[00:44:52] What was that exchange?

[00:44:54] And he said.

[00:44:56] He told me.

[00:44:57] He loved me.

[00:44:57] I told him.

[00:44:58] I loved him back.

[00:45:00] Obviously.

[00:45:01] We knew that wasn't the conversation.

[00:45:02] Right.

[00:45:02] But to have that kind of presence.

[00:45:04] To not.

[00:45:06] Get down.

[00:45:07] And be like.

[00:45:07] You know.

[00:45:08] We're all just working really hard.

[00:45:10] Bo Nix lost some games.

[00:45:11] He doesn't look great.

[00:45:13] But he.

[00:45:13] You know.

[00:45:13] He has more touchdowns.

[00:45:14] Than some of the rookies.

[00:45:15] But the way he's handling.

[00:45:17] The ups and downs.

[00:45:19] The ups and downs of the season.

[00:45:20] Are just.

[00:45:20] I mean.

[00:45:21] He's played in college.

[00:45:22] Till he was 31.

[00:45:23] So he's mature.

[00:45:25] Hey.

[00:45:27] That's part of it.

[00:45:28] Hey.

[00:45:28] So.

[00:45:28] So you think DJ Moore.

[00:45:30] Walked up to Caleb.

[00:45:30] And was like.

[00:45:31] You clean the locker room.

[00:45:35] He probably hadn't talked to Caleb.

[00:45:36] In weeks.

[00:45:37] I agree.

[00:45:38] So.

[00:45:38] You brought up Bo Nix.

[00:45:40] That was my next game.

[00:45:41] Falcons.

[00:45:42] At Broncos.

[00:45:43] Mile high stadium.

[00:45:44] I don't care what they call it these days.

[00:45:46] I know it was in Powerfield.

[00:45:48] Last time I was there.

[00:45:49] But.

[00:45:50] Invesco.

[00:45:51] Invesco.

[00:45:51] Invesco.

[00:45:51] Invesco.

[00:45:52] Shout out to.

[00:45:53] Show the shirt off.

[00:45:55] NCOA.

[00:45:56] Peterson Air Force Base.

[00:45:57] Colorado.

[00:45:58] Vossler.

[00:45:59] You know what I'm saying.

[00:46:00] Schoolhouse.

[00:46:01] Vossler Academy.

[00:46:02] But you know.

[00:46:03] But like.

[00:46:04] So.

[00:46:05] My guy.

[00:46:07] You know.

[00:46:08] Nasty Nas.

[00:46:09] To Esco.

[00:46:10] To Escobar.

[00:46:10] Now he is Nostradamus.

[00:46:12] Well.

[00:46:13] Yomway.

[00:46:14] Just went to Young Ho.

[00:46:16] Missed three field goals himself.

[00:46:18] Against the Saints.

[00:46:19] Last week.

[00:46:19] In a game.

[00:46:20] That the Falcons had no business losing.

[00:46:22] And it doesn't matter who the coach is.

[00:46:24] Doesn't matter who the quarterback is.

[00:46:26] Doesn't matter what year it is.

[00:46:28] Doesn't matter what century it is.

[00:46:29] Doesn't matter what decade it is.

[00:46:31] Doesn't matter what day it is.

[00:46:32] Doesn't matter what month it is.

[00:46:34] The Falcons gonna lose a fucking game.

[00:46:36] They ain't got no business losing.

[00:46:38] Philly about to beat the brakes off the commanders.

[00:46:40] There's Peyton.

[00:46:40] Hey.

[00:46:41] Hey.

[00:46:42] Piss off.

[00:46:43] You know.

[00:46:44] You know.

[00:46:45] Piss off.

[00:46:46] How about that?

[00:46:47] You getting stuck on second and inches.

[00:46:49] I'm going with the Broncos.

[00:46:51] Yeah.

[00:46:51] I'm going with the Broncos.

[00:46:52] I don't care.

[00:46:52] I'm going with the Broncos.

[00:46:54] You know what I'm saying?

[00:46:54] Courtland Sutton out there.

[00:46:56] Licking his chops after he watched MVS tape last week.

[00:46:59] Yeah.

[00:47:00] He had three catches.

[00:47:01] Yeah.

[00:47:02] Two of them were touchdowns.

[00:47:04] I think you can go man to man.

[00:47:05] I'll take a 66%.

[00:47:07] Out of that.

[00:47:09] It's like a man to man would save these zero coverage.

[00:47:13] You know what I'm saying?

[00:47:13] Y'all better go to school and get your percentages up.

[00:47:16] You know what I'm saying?

[00:47:17] But yo.

[00:47:17] They got to be able to rush the pass for better than Atlanta.

[00:47:20] It's hurting my soul.

[00:47:23] I just think, you know.

[00:47:25] I look for Audra Estame too.

[00:47:27] Audra Estame is going to have a game this week as well against Atlanta.

[00:47:30] The ball is going to travel a little further.

[00:47:32] Maybe they kicked a 60-yard field goal versus last week when they went for it

[00:47:36] on fourth and nine instead of kicking.

[00:47:38] I think it would have been like a 61, a 60-yard field goal.

[00:47:41] It was like they tried to throw it a little out route,

[00:47:43] and Ray McLeod got tackled short of the first down.

[00:47:46] And, you know, just pointless.

[00:47:50] Yeah, I'm taking Atlanta.

[00:47:51] I think last week they played a little too tight.

[00:47:54] You know, air it out.

[00:47:56] Oh, my goodness.

[00:47:57] You know.

[00:47:58] Oh!

[00:47:59] Oh!

[00:48:00] Oh!

[00:48:01] We'll recover.

[00:48:04] A.J. Brown better not get no fantasy points for recovering that fumble.

[00:48:07] No, that wasn't.

[00:48:11] He picked the fumble up.

[00:48:13] It was like first down.

[00:48:14] All right.

[00:48:16] So then after that, you know, talking about the team that the Falcons lost to,

[00:48:22] Jameis Winston is going back to the scene of the crime where he lost a job that he had

[00:48:28] no business losing.

[00:48:29] Dirt Carr got paid.

[00:48:32] Dirt Carr got paid.

[00:48:34] And I'm going to go ahead and say it.

[00:48:35] Dirt Carr was a DEI hire.

[00:48:38] You know, that was Jameis' squad.

[00:48:40] But they believed in Jameis.

[00:48:42] You know, he was motivating them.

[00:48:44] The Saints were playing a lot better when he was in the lineup.

[00:48:46] So now he's in Cleveland coming off the bye week.

[00:48:49] The Saints going to get beat down.

[00:48:51] Jameis had 14 touchdowns and three picks when he got his money towards ACL the year before

[00:48:59] they signed Derek Carr.

[00:49:02] This game shouldn't be on TV, but because it's a division upon I'm taking Cleveland.

[00:49:07] Yeah, I'm going with Cleveland.

[00:49:09] The Orleans has, like, and I talked about this early when we had our preview.

[00:49:13] You said they're going to be terrible.

[00:49:15] I think they have guys.

[00:49:17] Guys, it's just, it's the same conversation we had about Milwaukee with basketball.

[00:49:22] I just think those guys might be old.

[00:49:24] I think that Derek Carr's not a leader.

[00:49:26] Everything has to go well.

[00:49:27] I don't think he lacks leadership.

[00:49:30] No, I think he lacks fire.

[00:49:32] Like, you know what I mean?

[00:49:33] Like, he's like one of those guys that's easy going.

[00:49:35] He has too much fire sometimes.

[00:49:36] Like, he's easy going.

[00:49:37] He just is forced.

[00:49:39] I don't believe it.

[00:49:39] You know what I'm saying?

[00:49:40] But, yo, Mr. Logical, I know I say this a couple of times a month.

[00:49:44] And I'm going to say it one more time.

[00:49:47] Listen, say it over.

[00:49:47] What do you want to say?

[00:49:49] You know what I love.

[00:49:52] I love hard.

[00:49:55] And, you know, and I don't want to let go.

[00:49:58] I hate that you drop your voice when you say it.

[00:50:00] You know what I'm saying?

[00:50:01] I hold the love close to my chest.

[00:50:03] Get in the end zone, Saquon, so he don't take your touchdown.

[00:50:07] Now block the extra point.

[00:50:08] Let's get a touchdown and get a two-point conversion.

[00:50:10] I hate fantasy football.

[00:50:11] But anyway, you know, so the Titans are going to Minnesota.

[00:50:16] Get out of your mind.

[00:50:18] Sam Darnold has thrown pits in seven out of the nine games that Minnesota has played.

[00:50:25] Last week against Jacksonville, I don't know what that was.

[00:50:30] I don't know what that was.

[00:50:31] The good news is they held Jacksonville to 138 total yards.

[00:50:35] The bad news is yesterday in practice, it sounds like Sam Darnold banged up that throwing hand.

[00:50:42] But that's not the reason I'm picking the Titans.

[00:50:44] Well, you might miss it.

[00:50:46] Let's see.

[00:50:46] I'm picking the Titans because of that.

[00:50:48] Oh, that was close.

[00:50:50] That was close.

[00:50:51] It was close.

[00:50:53] Oh.

[00:50:53] Oh.

[00:50:54] You know, but I'm picking the Titans because of the defense.

[00:50:58] You know what I'm saying?

[00:50:58] I think they're going to force turnovers.

[00:51:00] Will Levis made it through last week without a turnover.

[00:51:05] Let's see if he can do it two weeks in a row.

[00:51:07] Yeah.

[00:51:09] He had his mayonnaise deal, and hopefully that pays him well as he goes in the future.

[00:51:13] But it's a lot of these young quarterbacks are going to be either in a situation where they get paid, they don't deserve it, or they're going to give teams.

[00:51:26] I think teams are going to be able to work in real discounts if they're brutally honest.

[00:51:34] If they bring in like Key and Peele when they had the old angry Obama voice, they need to bring that in for the GM.

[00:51:43] Don't let the GM talk.

[00:51:44] Don't let that guy say, like, listen, you suck, but you're a starting quarterback in the NFL.

[00:51:50] Right.

[00:51:51] If that can get a 60 million, you are not that good.

[00:51:54] We don't want to give you up.

[00:51:56] But if you're going to take this 28 million, and we're going to get some players around you.

[00:52:02] I know the NFL PA won't ever let that happen.

[00:52:04] But all of these rookies that are playing, all these young guys are playing, haven't shown any promise.

[00:52:10] And for that, I'm not going to pick them.

[00:52:12] I'll pick Minnesota because I figure the confusing cover two, cover three, who's blitzing, who's not, is going to cost Will Levitt.

[00:52:20] It's going to make Will Levitt make a couple mistakes.

[00:52:23] Okay.

[00:52:24] You got a young quarterback, rookie head coach that had to hire his dad to help him.

[00:52:31] Like, come on.

[00:52:31] None of that is a recipe for success.

[00:52:34] Andy Reid's dad has never been on the staff.

[00:52:37] Right.

[00:52:39] Right.

[00:52:39] So, you know, we love our fans.

[00:52:42] We love the subscribers.

[00:52:43] We love everybody watching, right?

[00:52:45] So, pay attention.

[00:52:47] I love y'all.

[00:52:49] So, do not drink Saturday night.

[00:52:52] And if you do drink Saturday night, don't come home Sunday and turn on Jets and Colts because it's all coming up.

[00:53:01] Anthony Richardson is back in the lineup.

[00:53:04] So, I'm already about to try to find me some website.

[00:53:07] I know PrizePix talks about this many yards.

[00:53:11] Is he going to get a touchdown?

[00:53:13] I'm trying to find a website where I can predict Anthony Richardson to go 12 for 34.

[00:53:19] Is there a way I can put money on that?

[00:53:22] One, two, three, four.

[00:53:24] You know what I'm saying?

[00:53:24] Ahmad Gardner is going to be holding receivers, getting away with it.

[00:53:29] You know, Jonathan Taylor should be able to run all over the Jets.

[00:53:33] The Jets lead the league in missed tackles this season.

[00:53:36] So, against my better judgment, against my better judgment, I'm going to take the Colts.

[00:53:47] Appreciate the input, Steve.

[00:53:50] Like I said, it's – I'm taking – the Colts are my dad's favorite team.

[00:53:56] But even he honestly wouldn't understand why I would pick the Jets.

[00:53:59] I'm picking the Jets because I think that their quarterback, even though he isn't as dynamic and I don't think he's a great leader and I really pride –

[00:54:07] I really pride myself on my leadership ability.

[00:54:11] And I really look up to people who are great leaders.

[00:54:15] I think that's one of the greatest things you can be in a person's life or a group or a family or work dynamic is just be a good leader.

[00:54:24] I think you can get so much accomplished with great leadership.

[00:54:28] Oh, Jesus.

[00:54:31] So, you know –

[00:54:33] I'll pick the Jets just because I think they can make something happen.

[00:54:38] Right.

[00:54:39] But I'm not – I'm not thinking it's going to be a great game.

[00:54:43] It won't be a 28-27, you know, barn burner.

[00:54:48] It's going to be bad.

[00:54:49] Yeah, and I agree with you 100%, Steve.

[00:54:51] I think that was probably from upstairs.

[00:54:53] I don't know if Shane Steichen made that decision on his own.

[00:54:58] I think Steichen got pressure from –

[00:55:01] From Ursaic.

[00:55:02] I don't know if I'm Ursaic because Ursaic is popping pills all the time.

[00:55:05] I don't know if he's thinking straight.

[00:55:07] I think I – we talked about this in our pre-media and I talked about it at work and I talked about –

[00:55:15] I had a conversation with my father last night.

[00:55:16] Sometimes I feel like people are afraid to make decisions that are incumbent with the responsibilities of their job.

[00:55:24] It's like that's part of your job to – you make the call, live and die with it.

[00:55:29] And I think that he probably wanted to ride or die with Anthony Richardson, but he came to some kind of pressure.

[00:55:37] Well, he played – the dude played three games.

[00:55:39] I don't know where he came from.

[00:55:40] The dude played three games last year in his rookie year.

[00:55:43] He's got to have reps.

[00:55:45] Don't call 32 passes for a guy you know is only completing 40-something percent of his passes.

[00:55:52] Yeah, everybody talks about how he jumps out the stadium, you know, like quarterback draws.

[00:55:57] Don't even run it.

[00:55:58] Just the threat – the threat of Lamar Jackson running the ball opens up at least one of the gaps for Derrick Henry on the counter.

[00:56:07] Like just the fact that Lamar is here and Henry is here and they hold the ball here for half a second before either –

[00:56:16] It's enough to throw you off.

[00:56:18] It's enough to open up at least one of those gaps between a guard in the center on either the counter or whatever it is.

[00:56:25] It's enough to get your dynamic running back some space.

[00:56:30] Right.

[00:56:30] It's very simple.

[00:56:31] You don't call 32 to 34 passes with a guy that you clearly – and we all see it's not that accurate.

[00:56:40] Don't give them that many opportunities to throw the ball unless they're screens, checkdowns, drag routes to the tight end.

[00:56:47] Yeah.

[00:56:48] I mean, like I don't know why it's that difficult.

[00:56:50] I play Madden with Atlanta.

[00:56:52] Every time I play Madden, I had Desmond Ritter.

[00:56:56] He couldn't throw the seam route.

[00:56:58] So I didn't call it.

[00:57:00] Even in the video game, it's like I'm throwing Drake London outs.

[00:57:04] I'm throwing drags.

[00:57:06] I'm throwing corners.

[00:57:07] The seam route just – it wasn't like in his digital wheelhouse.

[00:57:13] It's not for Anthony Richardson.

[00:57:15] Why would you pressure a coach to bench Anthony Richardson when you saw what this coach did with Jalen Hurts?

[00:57:21] That's all.

[00:57:22] I don't think it's the same.

[00:57:23] Jalen Hurts was a little bit more mature to play a lot.

[00:57:24] No, it's not about them being the same player or anything like that.

[00:57:28] No, no, but it's not about them.

[00:57:29] He had a harder coach.

[00:57:31] He played – he played at a higher level in the same conference.

[00:57:36] He had adversity at college, transferred.

[00:57:40] He showed a different level of maturity.

[00:57:42] I'm not saying Anthony Richardson is immature.

[00:57:45] It's just that you knew Jalen Hurts was –

[00:57:48] No, and I'm not trying to say that they're the same player or similar or anything like that.

[00:57:51] I'm just talking about taking a quarterback that was having issues and improving him.

[00:57:57] Like let Shane Steichen work.

[00:57:59] I mean the guy won nine games with Gardner Minshew right now.

[00:58:02] What the Raiders doing?

[00:58:04] You know what I'm saying?

[00:58:05] The Raiders about to get that ass kicked by the Dolphins.

[00:58:07] That's what they're doing.

[00:58:08] So we're in agreement on that?

[00:58:10] Okay, cool.

[00:58:10] Yeah, we're in agreement on that.

[00:58:12] We ain't got to spend time on that one.

[00:58:13] We ain't got to spend no time on the Rams going into Foxboro because I'm taking the Rams.

[00:58:19] You know what I'm saying?

[00:58:19] I think Drake May is going to play well against –

[00:58:21] You mean that Matthew Stafford has nine touchdowns and seven picks.

[00:58:24] You just taking the Rams?

[00:58:25] I'm taking the –

[00:58:25] Yeah, I'm just taking the Rams.

[00:58:26] You know what I'm saying?

[00:58:27] They got a chance to make the division.

[00:58:29] You know what I mean?

[00:58:30] To win the division still, get into the playoffs.

[00:58:32] The Patriots are going to play well.

[00:58:34] Matthew Stafford has nine touchdowns and seven picks.

[00:58:37] In the last couple weeks, he had his Avengers with him.

[00:58:41] Hey, you're going to start talking about that, man.

[00:58:42] Like, oh, I'm going to say corner again.

[00:58:46] He better burn Philly down.

[00:58:47] That's the game, y'all.

[00:58:48] That's the game.

[00:58:49] I'm not really nice.

[00:58:51] You'll be down 16.

[00:58:53] That's two possessions still.

[00:58:55] So, Jacksonville coming off of Matt Jones, our guy McCorkle.

[00:59:01] McCorkle.

[00:59:02] McCorkle.

[00:59:02] I blame Bill O'Brien for McCorkle's struggles.

[00:59:05] Yeah.

[00:59:07] When he cussed him out like that, if I was Matt Jones' dad,

[00:59:10] I would have called Bill O'Brien.

[00:59:13] You cuss one of my kids out like that on TV.

[00:59:17] All I'm going to say about this game is Detroit's going to name their score.

[00:59:24] That's all I'm going to say about that.

[00:59:25] Sunday night football, Mr. Logical probably thinks I'm going to pick the Chargers,

[00:59:29] but I'm not.

[00:59:30] You know, Jamar Chase leading the league in receiving by a whole 150 yards

[00:59:35] over Justin Jefferson.

[00:59:37] You know, Joe Burrow is putting up an MVP season for the ages that he won't win

[00:59:43] the MVP in because the rest of his team is capital T trash.

[00:59:48] Well, not if they're going to – if they're going to three-game run

[00:59:51] and you figure –

[00:59:52] They get the seven and sixes on?

[00:59:54] Seven and sixes on, especially if he gets you – he's at 24 touchdowns.

[01:00:02] If he has 32 passing touchdowns in the next three games,

[01:00:06] I can see the conversation changing, especially if Lamar loses to Pittsburgh

[01:00:10] this week.

[01:00:11] I can see the conversation if the final week of the season they have a chance

[01:00:17] to win, to get into the playoffs.

[01:00:18] It's a win-and-in situation, and he goes for three or four touchdowns in that game.

[01:00:23] Then I think we can have a conversation with his overall numbers.

[01:00:26] Okay, hold on.

[01:00:27] But otherwise –

[01:00:28] But otherwise –

[01:00:30] I got to check something real quick.

[01:00:31] I don't see it.

[01:00:31] But I do think the Chargers are going to keep this close.

[01:00:34] They play disciplined football.

[01:00:35] They're not going to beat themselves.

[01:00:37] Cincinnati's just going to take it from them, so to speak.

[01:00:39] Like, no diddy.

[01:00:41] But, you know, the Chargers are going to try to take the air out the ball,

[01:00:44] but it's not going to be enough.

[01:00:47] So if the Bengals can continue to improve the run game like they have over the last

[01:00:52] two to three weeks, they should walk out with a 10-point win.

[01:00:56] So we got Chargers.

[01:01:02] Okay, here we go.

[01:01:03] The MVP conversation for Joe Burrow, real quick.

[01:01:06] You know, I don't want to go for this tangent, but real quick.

[01:01:08] So, you had the great game against Baltimore.

[01:01:12] So they had Tweez at 24 touchdowns.

[01:01:14] Figure he gets two – say he gets three against the Chargers.

[01:01:21] That puts them at 27 touchdowns, and I picked them to win.

[01:01:25] They get a bye week.

[01:01:27] They got Pittsburgh, Dallas, Tennessee.

[01:01:32] They could be eight and six middle of December.

[01:01:40] And I think in those games, I think he could be somewhere around 33, 34 touchdowns.

[01:01:47] Eight and six.

[01:01:48] Seeds started off slow.

[01:01:50] They look good.

[01:01:51] I think the MVP conversation ramps back up.

[01:01:54] Because the six losses haven't all been on him.

[01:01:57] They've been one possession game.

[01:01:58] Yet, people go back to the Kansas City penalty.

[01:02:01] They'll go back to all the penalties that didn't get called in the two-point conversion.

[01:02:05] The missed field goal against Baltimore in overtime.

[01:02:07] The missed field goal.

[01:02:09] So it's like, you know, hey, play here, play there.

[01:02:12] They're six and four.

[01:02:13] Right now, they're nine and four.

[01:02:15] But, you know, people will rationalize the difference between eight and six and ten and four.

[01:02:21] Okay.

[01:02:22] He'll have 33, 34 touchdowns.

[01:02:24] Andy's Joe Burrow.

[01:02:25] He'll look the part.

[01:02:26] He'll look good every week.

[01:02:28] He'll be leading offensive player of the year candidate because he'll probably be around in four weeks.

[01:02:35] We'll give him 12.

[01:02:36] I don't know.

[01:02:36] You don't think, Derek Henry?

[01:02:38] We'll talk about that another day.

[01:02:39] We'll give him 1,200 yards, you know, receiving.

[01:02:42] Yeah, we'll talk about it another day.

[01:02:43] I like the redemption aspect of it.

[01:02:45] The mid-season redemption story.

[01:02:47] I'm with that.

[01:02:47] So I got one question for you.

[01:02:49] How many points does Houston beat Dallas by?

[01:02:54] Who's starting at?

[01:02:55] No, I'm right.

[01:02:55] It doesn't matter.

[01:02:57] I give it somewhere around the same 30 to 14, 30 to 13, something like that.

[01:03:03] Okay.

[01:03:03] I know the Texans have been having team meetings, so you know it's time to turn up for the second half of the season.

[01:03:09] So now.

[01:03:09] Losing streak.

[01:03:10] Five interceptions last week and losing the game is nasty work.

[01:03:14] Yes.

[01:03:16] All right.

[01:03:16] So now it's that time.

[01:03:18] Upset alert.

[01:03:19] Now remember, upset alert, picking a team to cover.

[01:03:23] I'll give you my straight-up upsets.

[01:03:26] So let's take it from the top.

[01:03:31] Got Syracuse covering 9 1⁄2 against Cal.

[01:03:36] Nebraska covering 9 1⁄2 at North Carolina.

[01:03:43] Arizona State covering 9 at the Little Apple.

[01:03:48] And Stanford covering 20 1⁄2 at the Farm against Louisville.

[01:03:54] Now, straight up, I'm taking Michigan State over Illinois.

[01:04:02] I'm going to try this one more again.

[01:04:03] I'm taking Kansas over BYU.

[01:04:06] I'm taking Rutgers.

[01:04:09] Yes.

[01:04:09] I'm taking Rutgers over Maryland.

[01:04:13] West Virginia over Baylor.

[01:04:15] And off we go into the wild blue yonder, the Air Force,

[01:04:20] taking down the Beavers of Oregon State.

[01:04:24] So, Mr. Logical, let's start it off.

[01:04:27] You know I always got questions.

[01:04:28] Here we are.

[01:04:29] Does a loss this weekend knock Georgia out of playoff contention?

[01:04:39] You ask me these questions every week.

[01:04:42] As a logical person, I say absolutely.

[01:04:48] Mathematically, I know the committee wants it.

[01:04:52] At a certain point, the committee has to just recognize that the SEC isn't going to build their house for them.

[01:05:01] You're going to have to get some other pieces to the building of your house.

[01:05:06] The foundation can be the two or three SEC teams that you think is great.

[01:05:10] You got to get other pillars in there to fill it all out.

[01:05:13] But any three-loss team should not be in competition for the national championship.

[01:05:21] When you play 12 games.

[01:05:23] I don't care where you're geographically located.

[01:05:27] I don't care who your AD is.

[01:05:29] I don't care who your greatest NFL graduate is.

[01:05:35] Keep it simple.

[01:05:37] Two, losses is you're on the outside looking in.

[01:05:42] Three, you are going to the Monarchy Car Care Bowl in Orlando.

[01:05:47] Just deal with it.

[01:05:49] Get your iPads and your iPhones or your hoodies or whatever gift package you get for going to the Under the Sun Bowl in Arizona.

[01:05:58] Or the Nabisco Oreo Cookie Bowl.

[01:06:02] Hey, there is a Cheez-It Bowl.

[01:06:05] Whatever you get, you get.

[01:06:08] You don't get a shot at the national championship because you had your opportunity to stay undefeated.

[01:06:15] We all know it's a daunting task to stay undefeated at any level, anything you play.

[01:06:22] Video games, duck-duck-goose, goddamn fantasy football.

[01:06:29] But it's supposed to be daunting because winning the big game, winning the whole thing is supposed to be tough.

[01:06:39] My favorite bowl game, you know, this was two, three years ago.

[01:06:43] Maryland against NC State in the Duke Mayo Bowl.

[01:06:47] And, you know, usually the, you know, the Gatorade bath at the end of the game.

[01:06:51] Well, in the Duke Mayo Bowl, you get dumped with mayo.

[01:06:54] Oh, yeah.

[01:06:54] So, Dave Doran and Mike Loxley were calling everything but trying to win that game.

[01:07:02] Like, it would be like, you know, third and 12.

[01:07:04] And, you know, they just handed off.

[01:07:06] You know, they weren't trying to get dumped with the mayo.

[01:07:08] So, that's my favorite.

[01:07:09] But, look, we got Tennessee going into Abins between the edges this weekend.

[01:07:17] Nico, love your mama not playing.

[01:07:19] Well, well.

[01:07:20] I saw a report yesterday he said he doesn't think he's playing.

[01:07:24] Well, so, Tuesday when we were talking, Chris Felica the Bear sent out the tweet saying that Nico wasn't going to play.

[01:07:35] I saw a report yesterday that said that he wasn't going to play.

[01:07:41] Today, I saw that he was questionable.

[01:07:45] So, I don't know if he's playing or not.

[01:07:48] What I do know, well, what I think is he's not playing because the line opened up at 7.5 and it's currently sitting at 10.5.

[01:07:58] So, that tells me that either he's not playing or it's looking like he's not going to play.

[01:08:04] So, with that being said, you know how you talked about earlier about how people don't want to make the decisions that come with the response.

[01:08:14] Well, you know what?

[01:08:15] I'm going to be 2-5 for a second.

[01:08:17] Here we go.

[01:08:18] I'm taking Tennessee to cover either way, whether Nico plays or not.

[01:08:24] You heard what I said.

[01:08:26] If Nico plays – okay, I'll put it like this.

[01:08:28] If Nico plays, I'd give Tennessee a 35% chance to win.

[01:08:34] Okay.

[01:08:35] You know, if he doesn't, I'm out that down to about 8.5%.

[01:08:43] You know what I mean?

[01:08:44] They're bringing – if he doesn't play, it's going to be Gaston Moore, who's a fifth-year senior.

[01:08:49] So, I don't expect him to be rattled, you know, down at Georgia.

[01:08:53] And so, the one thing – this is what it is, right?

[01:08:56] Like, when we used to watch Tom Brady for all these years, when we watched Kobe Bryant for all these years, and they lost the game, our reaction was, you don't want to be the next team to play them.

[01:09:08] You know what I mean?

[01:09:08] That was our reaction.

[01:09:09] Tom Brady's going to win next week.

[01:09:11] Oh, you're saying that Georgia coming off a loss is going to –

[01:09:14] Yeah, that's what we're used to.

[01:09:16] But I don't know if this Georgia team is capable of that because Carson Beck has been having an awful season.

[01:09:22] They can't run the ball consistently.

[01:09:25] Even if you go back –

[01:09:26] What happened?

[01:09:27] Yes.

[01:09:28] Yes.

[01:09:29] Even if you go back to the Texas game.

[01:09:31] Because remember, we had that conversation.

[01:09:32] I picked Georgia to win that game because I was like, Georgia's going to come out and pose their will early.

[01:09:37] But if you go back and look at it, they jumped on Texas, but it was their defense.

[01:09:44] Their offense still didn't do much.

[01:09:46] They just jumped out to an early lead and Texas couldn't come back.

[01:09:49] I remember early in the season we were talking about Carson Beck and some of the early preseason draft reports

[01:09:55] having him being one of the – either the first quarterback taken or the number one overall pick,

[01:10:02] but definitely they had him ahead of Quinn.

[01:10:04] They had him ahead of Chador.

[01:10:05] Lord, I had him ahead of – I was like, I didn't see anything that he's done.

[01:10:09] Because I think it's a lot of the whole – the last few Alabama quarterbacks where you're playing with so much talent,

[01:10:18] you shouldn't lose.

[01:10:19] But the fact that he's playing with this much talent and losing –

[01:10:24] Stetson Bennett was drunk all through college and was still out here winning the national championship game.

[01:10:30] So it was like, I'll give Georgia the benefit of the doubt that they're at home and he just got the ass kicked last week.

[01:10:38] So it should be able to light a fire under enough players that it resonates with the team.

[01:10:47] Whereas if they were like – if that was their third or fourth loss and it's like guys are checking out,

[01:10:53] guys are playing in the offseason, guys are setting up Mexico trips for Christmas or whatever the case may be.

[01:11:00] But the fact that they're somewhat still in it and you talked about your SEC winning conundrum, tiebreakers, yada, yada, yada, so forth and so on.

[01:11:10] I'll give you that.

[01:11:11] But I'm not confident in picking Georgia, but I'm confident because the other team starting NIL, money, bringing in quarterback,

[01:11:23] dynamic guy from California might not play.

[01:11:26] So that's my confidence level.

[01:11:28] So, of course, you know, there's always numbers that we got to consider.

[01:11:32] So Georgia has won 28 straight at home.

[01:11:35] They've won the last seven against Tennessee and the closest game was 14 points.

[01:11:42] You know, so as you look through this, Georgia should have – but this is the problem.

[01:11:46] So Dabo Sweeney specializes in, yo, they don't believe in us.

[01:11:52] You know, Kirby Smart, you know, last year was talking about, oh, they're picking us to go seven and five.

[01:11:58] Nobody said that.

[01:12:00] But that's what he was telling his team.

[01:12:01] So now as we were talking about can Georgia make the playoff, can Georgia make the playoff,

[01:12:07] a lot of these pundits are saying, hey, they got the number one schedule in the country.

[01:12:11] They went to Texas.

[01:12:12] They went here.

[01:12:14] They went there.

[01:12:15] You know, they went to Bama.

[01:12:16] So they have three losses, but we still know that they're a great team that had a hard schedule.

[01:12:24] But you're saying if they lose in Tennessee with that third loss.

[01:12:26] Yeah.

[01:12:27] So Kirby doesn't have that.

[01:12:28] No, no, no.

[01:12:29] But my point is Kirby can't say, hey, they're talking about how we're not going to make the playoffs.

[01:12:36] They're talking about – he can only say that –

[01:12:39] He doesn't have a motivation.

[01:12:41] Yeah, he can only say that if he watches Sports Reports' order.

[01:12:43] He doesn't have a motivation.

[01:12:45] We've won 28 games here in our home field.

[01:12:51] This streak was started by some of the seniors you looked up to when you got here as a freshman,

[01:12:59] whatever, whatever, whatever.

[01:13:00] He has that piece.

[01:13:02] And he has the fact that their starting quarterback isn't going to be there.

[01:13:06] You know the last time Georgia lost back-to-back games?

[01:13:10] Under Mark Rick.

[01:13:14] 2016.

[01:13:14] 2016.

[01:13:16] I think that was the year before Kirby took over, yeah.

[01:13:19] So, you know, I'm going to go with Georgia to win.

[01:13:22] Tennessee hasn't –

[01:13:23] He must have been a nice buyout because I haven't seen him anywhere.

[01:13:26] Is he coaching anywhere?

[01:13:27] He retired.

[01:13:28] You know.

[01:13:29] Yeah, because he had a nice little buyout.

[01:13:31] Yeah, he probably did.

[01:13:32] But Tennessee hasn't given up 20 points this season.

[01:13:36] Not even to Bama.

[01:13:39] So, I'm going to go with Georgia and I'm going to call it 20 to 16.

[01:13:47] You know, I'm going to give Tennessee to be that low.

[01:13:50] Yeah, I think so.

[01:13:51] Because Georgia – like I said, Georgia can't run the ball.

[01:13:53] They can't or they don't?

[01:13:55] They can't.

[01:13:58] They have ATN.

[01:14:00] They have like some of the top running backs that – they got a top transfer in ATN.

[01:14:06] They got a top guy from Georgia.

[01:14:08] They got a 347-pound offensive line.

[01:14:11] They can't run the football.

[01:14:12] They cannot run the –

[01:14:14] They can't.

[01:14:15] That's the offensive strategic choice.

[01:14:18] Because I could get 30 yards behind that offensive line right now.

[01:14:22] So, Georgia –

[01:14:23] You should be up this week and give me 12 handoffs.

[01:14:26] I can get 30 yards behind.

[01:14:27] Georgia has played eight games.

[01:14:29] Georgia has played eight games this season.

[01:14:32] Trevor ETN has 477 yards.

[01:14:36] So, if you want to break that down, that's just under 60 yards per game rushing the ball.

[01:14:44] How many carries per game?

[01:14:48] He's at – so, he's got 95 carries on the season.

[01:14:53] Oh, hold on.

[01:14:56] Hold on.

[01:14:57] So, that's a little under 12.

[01:14:59] So, that's right under 12 because 96 would be 12.

[01:15:01] Hold on, that's a catch, baby.

[01:15:02] Ah, is it a catch?

[01:15:04] Oh, is it Zach Ertz again?

[01:15:06] Zach Ertz.

[01:15:07] Hold on.

[01:15:07] Let's see.

[01:15:08] That's a catch.

[01:15:09] Right foot, right foot, right foot.

[01:15:11] That's a catch.

[01:15:11] That's a catch.

[01:15:13] As long as he maintained, that's a catch.

[01:15:17] That's a catch.

[01:15:18] Are we looking at it?

[01:15:21] I think that's a catch.

[01:15:22] Yeah, I think they are because it's under two minutes.

[01:15:25] So, the booth has to call for it.

[01:15:26] And it's a two-point conversion.

[01:15:28] Any man scoring play.

[01:15:29] But, yeah.

[01:15:30] So, he's averaging about 12 carries per game.

[01:15:33] You know what I mean?

[01:15:34] And –

[01:15:34] I'm listening.

[01:15:35] I'm just –

[01:15:36] Georgia just –

[01:15:37] He's in.

[01:15:38] He's in.

[01:15:38] The foot's on the ground.

[01:15:39] No, he's in.

[01:15:40] The bottom of his cleat is black.

[01:15:42] Oh, there it is.

[01:15:42] That's the best picture.

[01:15:45] Ball.

[01:15:45] That's the catch.

[01:15:47] That's a great throw.

[01:15:50] Yeah.

[01:15:51] All right.

[01:15:52] So, then you go out to Boulder.

[01:15:55] So, you go out to Boulder, Colorado.

[01:15:58] Utah fan here.

[01:16:00] I'm going to go ahead and say that a team with a –

[01:16:03] Colorado's winning that game.

[01:16:04] But, but does Colorado cover the 11 and a half?

[01:16:18] Well, they got 14 last week with the –

[01:16:23] The stack football.

[01:16:27] It's in Boulder.

[01:16:32] Yeah.

[01:16:34] I think they –

[01:16:35] So, Brandon Rose is out for the season.

[01:16:38] You know, that goes along with their best offensive lineman,

[01:16:42] their best line receiver.

[01:16:43] They got it last week.

[01:16:44] Yep.

[01:16:44] So, you just basically line up Travis Hunter on Dorian Singer.

[01:16:48] Erase him.

[01:16:49] You know, it's going to come down to Micah Bernard.

[01:16:52] And if he can carry the load because – pause.

[01:16:56] Because –

[01:16:57] But that's –

[01:16:57] The thing about that, that has to work if you are expecting the team to throw the ball.

[01:17:07] The running back can be the guy if there's an expectation of a threat from the pass.

[01:17:12] But there's no threat.

[01:17:14] So, we're back to Isaac Wilson.

[01:17:18] So, I'm going to take Colorado, and I'm going to call it something along the lines of 31 to 14.

[01:17:27] And the 14 might be generous.

[01:17:29] Yeah, 31, 13 wouldn't surprise me.

[01:17:32] But I don't see 31, 17 because Utah's a gritty team wouldn't surprise me either.

[01:17:38] But the one thing –

[01:17:39] The one –

[01:17:40] Two for 30.

[01:17:41] The one chance that Utah does have is that they're eighth –

[01:17:46] They're eighth in opponent passer rating.

[01:17:50] So, the secondary has been playing well.

[01:17:54] So, you wonder if Shador –

[01:17:57] If they can get home to Shador and force throws.

[01:18:01] That's going to be the key to where you get a short field.

[01:18:04] You know, and maybe you jump out.

[01:18:06] You know, let's call it 6-0.

[01:18:08] You know, you get two field goals.

[01:18:09] You know, it's the end of the first quarter.

[01:18:11] The crowd gets a little unrest.

[01:18:14] And you play a grind out, hold on to the football type game.

[01:18:18] But I just don't think –

[01:18:20] I just don't think they're good enough to –

[01:18:23] I don't think they're good enough to make it happen.

[01:18:29] Yeah, I don't think they're good enough to make it happen.

[01:18:31] Yeah, it's unfortunate.

[01:18:33] Like I said, I'm always going to be a fan of the teams I'm a fan of.

[01:18:39] But, you know, if you ask me honestly, it's only so much –

[01:18:45] Like, it's one thing if the team was an underdog.

[01:18:49] But they were full of, like, promise.

[01:18:52] Right.

[01:18:53] Isaac Wilson is a –

[01:18:55] He's not a good quarterback.

[01:18:57] He's not ready to play.

[01:18:59] The Cam Rising still playing there that many years

[01:19:03] probably stopped them from being able to recruit

[01:19:07] top-tier quarterbacks from out of state.

[01:19:10] Right.

[01:19:11] I think they should just let them go because, like,

[01:19:13] you're holding on.

[01:19:16] Like I said, I'll go back to the Bucs theories.

[01:19:18] Like, at some point there has to be a recognition that

[01:19:22] it is time to let it go and move on to the next thing.

[01:19:29] Yeah.

[01:19:31] So, you know, then, of course, you go out to Camp Randall

[01:19:35] where you have the number one team in the nation,

[01:19:38] the Oregon Ducks, favored by 14.5 over the Wisconsin Badgers.

[01:19:44] You know, we saw this a couple of weeks ago.

[01:19:46] Penn State went into Camp Randall.

[01:19:49] Wisconsin played them tough.

[01:19:51] Drew Aller got hurt.

[01:19:53] Voe Pribula came in.

[01:19:54] Let a touchdown drive.

[01:19:56] Put the game out of reach.

[01:19:58] So, all I'm going to say is I'm challenging Luke Fickle.

[01:20:04] This is why they brought you to Wisconsin.

[01:20:07] You are supposed to win the games like this.

[01:20:13] You are considered one of the best coaches in the country for what you've

[01:20:18] done at Cincinnati, getting them to the playoff.

[01:20:21] But like I mentioned the other day, you brought in Phil Longo to try to

[01:20:26] install this high-paced passing offense.

[01:20:30] And to do that, step number one is you have to have a quarterback,

[01:20:35] which you do not have.

[01:20:39] So, Braden Locke, can he be smart and make on-time throws,

[01:20:49] check down, and rely on play action to attack Oregon,

[01:20:56] even though the secondary is the strength of Oregon's defense.

[01:21:01] Since Oregon played that game against Ohio State,

[01:21:06] where they won by the skin of their teeth by one point,

[01:21:09] Will Howard sliding and running out the clock,

[01:21:12] they have won their next games by an average of 26.5 points.

[01:21:18] So, basically, long story short, Wisconsin fans deserve better

[01:21:30] because Camp Randall is one of the greatest environments in college football.

[01:21:35] Jump around to start the fourth quarter and all that jazz,

[01:21:40] but the team ain't hitting on nothing.

[01:21:44] So, I'm going to pick Wisconsin to put a scare into Oregon.

[01:21:48] You thought I was going to say something else.

[01:21:51] I'm going to pick Wisconsin to put a scare into Oregon.

[01:21:56] And we're going to see something along the lines of a 31-24 game.

[01:22:04] And even with that being said, it might be a point where Oregon's up 31-17

[01:22:09] and Wisconsin gets a garbage-time touchdown like Washington just got

[01:22:13] to make the score a little bit better.

[01:22:15] But I wouldn't be surprised if I looked up at halftime

[01:22:20] and I saw something like a 10-10 game heading into the third quarter.

[01:22:25] So, I'm going to trust Wisconsin fans because the same thing,

[01:22:28] they played Alabama earlier this year.

[01:22:31] They had control of that game until Tyler Van Dyke got hurt.

[01:22:35] And then it was an onslaught.

[01:22:38] Alabama's dominating that game, man.

[01:22:39] So, no, they weren't.

[01:22:42] They were dominant after Tyler Van Dyke went out.

[01:22:45] At the time that Tyler Van Dyke got hurt, Wisconsin was up 3-0

[01:22:52] with about four minutes left in the first quarter,

[01:22:55] and they were at midfield.

[01:22:58] So, once he went out, the offense just stalled.

[01:23:03] Well, the offense stalls in Wisconsin all the time

[01:23:05] because their offense is not that good.

[01:23:10] It hasn't been.

[01:23:11] It's just tough.

[01:23:12] And your best running back left of the team.

[01:23:13] Listen, if I have a top 10 pick, if I have a top 15 pick

[01:23:17] and I'm the offensive lineman, and there's a guy on the board

[01:23:20] that's from Wisconsin, I'm picking him.

[01:23:22] But that's been – that's like par for the course for Wisconsin.

[01:23:27] Oregon has always been dynamic at the skill position,

[01:23:32] offensive line, and, like, they've always had, like,

[01:23:35] just abnormally tall, like, defensive ends.

[01:23:38] It's always, like, a thing that they end up having,

[01:23:40] like a 6'7 guy playing defensive end.

[01:23:43] It's like, where'd you come from?

[01:23:44] Like, Deion Jordan, these guys like that.

[01:23:46] So, I just feel like, you know, sometimes college games,

[01:23:51] I don't know what the guys' pregame routines are.

[01:23:57] Let's figure number one teams in America, they tend to –

[01:24:02] especially when they're that dynamic, especially Oregon.

[01:24:05] Oregon's not out here just kind of piecing it together.

[01:24:09] They have a great program.

[01:24:11] Phil Knight has said he'll pump as much money into whatever the program needs

[01:24:16] to get that national championship.

[01:24:17] We thought it was going to take a year because I believe that conversation

[01:24:21] came out after this season already started.

[01:24:25] But obviously it's looking a lot like, hey, my dreams of bringing

[01:24:30] a national football championship to Oregon, if I'm Phil Knight,

[01:24:35] that could potentially come to fruition this year.

[01:24:38] And if not, like I said, Oregon's – like, Oregon probably had,

[01:24:41] like, the best low-key NIL booster there is because he can give them

[01:24:48] the products from his company without it being, you know, illegal.

[01:24:54] Because if you think about – like, I used to collect a lot of shoes early,

[01:24:59] like 2013, 14, maybe up until, like, 2016, I was really into, like,

[01:25:04] collecting shoes.

[01:25:04] The Oregon Duck colorway for so many shoes, they were always limited.

[01:25:12] For some reason, Mark Wahlberg always had a pair.

[01:25:17] And it's like that's what the players were getting.

[01:25:20] The players were getting limited cleats, limited basketball shoes that were

[01:25:26] always – so they were kind of hedging the NIL deal already.

[01:25:30] They just couldn't seal the final deal.

[01:25:32] But I think, like, right now, they have it.

[01:25:36] Grander quarterback is pretty old.

[01:25:40] He's older than maybe that blackout form.

[01:25:43] But I just think the lack of dynamic skill players in Wisconsin is going to be

[01:25:47] the thing that, you know, ultimately slows them down.

[01:25:50] For sure.

[01:25:51] You know, guys are going to get open.

[01:25:53] And I think, like, the Oregon guys getting open in this space is more of a

[01:25:58] detriment to a defensive staff than the Wisconsin guys.

[01:26:03] All right.

[01:26:04] So, of course, you know what I'm saying?

[01:26:05] Random – quick random notes before we get out of here.

[01:26:08] You know, so DJ Lagway is back.

[01:26:11] Look out, LSU.

[01:26:13] I want to see how LSU reacts to the beatdown Bama put on them.

[01:26:17] Or is this going to be one of those situations like, you know,

[01:26:20] shout out to Black Adam.

[01:26:21] He told me this.

[01:26:22] When an SEC team loses a certain amount of games and they know that they can't

[01:26:27] play for the national title, they just give up.

[01:26:30] They just phone it in.

[01:26:31] Yeah.

[01:26:31] They don't want to be there.

[01:26:32] You know what I mean?

[01:26:33] Well, you know what?

[01:26:33] Do better.

[01:26:34] You know what I'm saying?

[01:26:35] If you can't get a coach that will make you play, get them out of there.

[01:26:38] You still got a chance to win the SEC.

[01:26:40] You still got a chance to make the playoff even though you have three losses.

[01:26:43] If you win the SEC, you're in.

[01:26:46] So the season ain't over yet.

[01:26:49] So I want to see how –

[01:26:50] That's the only way I want to see a three-loss team is if they get the automatic

[01:26:55] we-won-our-conference spot.

[01:26:58] I don't want someone saying, hey, man, a 9-3 Georgia is dangerous,

[01:27:01] way more dangerous than a 10-2 SMU.

[01:27:04] Yeah, Georgia loses this weekend and they're out of the SEC championship race

[01:27:08] basically.

[01:27:09] So, you know, the 80s baby in me is looking forward to this Texas-at-Arkansas

[01:27:15] game down in Vietnam.

[01:27:17] I gave it to you earlier this season, Arkansas over Tennessee.

[01:27:21] I'm not going to go that far this time.

[01:27:23] You know what I mean?

[01:27:24] But same thing.

[01:27:25] Same rules apply.

[01:27:26] 14-14 at halftime and then let the chips fall where they may.

[01:27:30] I think Arkansas is going to give Texas a run.

[01:27:32] You know, West Virginia and Baylor the last couple of years has been one of the

[01:27:36] better games of the season, even though nobody cares because the teams haven't been that good.

[01:27:41] But it's always an explosion.

[01:27:43] You know, and both coaches came into the season on the hot seat.

[01:27:46] One still is.

[01:27:47] So let's see how that goes.

[01:27:49] Dylan Rayola is cleared to play against USC this weekend.

[01:27:54] So there was some talk that we were going to see.

[01:27:56] Heinrich Harburg.

[01:27:57] That's your door, Sanders.

[01:27:59] We are every team.

[01:28:01] Super Bowl fits so perfectly in the Nebraska storyline for this season.

[01:28:07] Yeah.

[01:28:07] Because they have been a completely different team since they dismantled Colorado.

[01:28:13] What, week three?

[01:28:16] They've been a completely different team.

[01:28:19] Matt Rule might just be like a nice guy.

[01:28:21] It must be a guy you just like.

[01:28:23] No, I told you.

[01:28:24] I told you when we did our preseason thing.

[01:28:26] Year three.

[01:28:27] Next year is the year.

[01:28:30] And, you know, you get that year.

[01:28:32] I would have been so then.

[01:28:33] You get that year with Rayola playing a full season this year.

[01:28:37] You know what I mean?

[01:28:37] Unless he transfers because you know, like, what was it?

[01:28:40] He went to, like, five different high schools or something like that.

[01:28:42] He went to a few different high schools, but it's family reasons.

[01:28:45] And he's at Nebraska for a family reason.

[01:28:47] I know.

[01:28:48] I'm just saying.

[01:28:48] I'm just saying.

[01:28:49] So his last high school he went to was family related.

[01:28:53] So I figured he's going to lock into Nebraska.

[01:28:57] And he has the Adidas in the full hockey.

[01:28:59] Looks like Patrick Mahomes.

[01:29:03] So quick Friday night picks real quick.

[01:29:06] You know, give me.

[01:29:08] You know, I'm going to be in the building.

[01:29:10] So give me UTSA straight up.

[01:29:12] You know what I'm saying?

[01:29:13] North Texas is favored by one.

[01:29:16] But I'm going to take UTSA.

[01:29:18] Give me Colorado State to cover the nine and a half against Wyoming.

[01:29:22] They're favored by nine and a half.

[01:29:25] Give me Washington covering their four that they're favored by over UCLA at home.

[01:29:31] Blackout game.

[01:29:33] And then Colt Brennan.

[01:29:35] Rumors are.

[01:29:36] I brought it up the other night in my hot seat.

[01:29:39] See?

[01:29:39] I brought it up in the hot seat.

[01:29:41] Today we got the report that tomorrow night may be Brent Brennan's last game as the head coach at Arizona.

[01:29:49] So.

[01:29:49] You said Colt Brennan.

[01:29:51] Is that Colt Brennan's little brother or something?

[01:29:53] Oh, did I say Colt Brennan?

[01:29:55] You said Colt Brennan.

[01:29:56] Oh, no.

[01:29:56] I don't think they're related.

[01:29:58] But Brent Brennan.

[01:29:59] Brent Brennan.

[01:30:00] You know.

[01:30:01] So, yeah.

[01:30:02] I'm taking Houston.

[01:30:03] You know, Arizona's favored by one and a half.

[01:30:06] I'm taking Houston to win that game.

[01:30:08] So, you know, we'll see if he gets fired or not.

[01:30:11] Ken Naimataolo.

[01:30:14] I think that's how you say it.

[01:30:15] You know, former Navy coach.

[01:30:17] Has San Jose sitting up here 6-3.

[01:30:20] Watch out, Boise.

[01:30:22] I'm not calling an upset, but just watch out.

[01:30:24] And they got UNLV in a couple of weeks, too.

[01:30:27] You know, South Carolina, Missouri.

[01:30:29] South Carolina is favored by 13 and a half in that game.

[01:30:34] And Missouri's awful.

[01:30:36] South Carolina is going to cover, you know, coming off of their 16th straight win against Vanderbilt.

[01:30:43] So, Mr. Logical, let me close out with this.

[01:30:49] All right.

[01:30:50] Last week, I was watching Oklahoma and Missouri.

[01:30:57] There was about four and a half to five minutes left in the game.

[01:31:03] Okay.

[01:31:04] The score was 16-9.

[01:31:08] Final score, 30-23.

[01:31:14] They lost the game because Jackson Arnold.

[01:31:18] Huh?

[01:31:20] 34 points in the fourth quarter between the two teams.

[01:31:23] Yeah.

[01:31:23] No.

[01:31:24] Yeah, but, like, in four minutes, though.

[01:31:28] And they lost the game because Jackson Arnold got strip sacked and Missouri ran in for the touchdown.

[01:31:34] When all they probably had to do was hand it off and go to overtime.

[01:31:42] Well, we talk about this when I go for two conversations.

[01:31:46] And I know it's all predicated on where you are on the field, how good your team is playing.

[01:31:51] I know analytics is strictly due to math.

[01:31:54] Math, where you are on the field.

[01:31:56] I remember a press conference with Dean Pease was talking about, you guys keep talking about analytics.

[01:32:04] It's analytics.

[01:32:05] But it's also dependent on how the game is going.

[01:32:08] If the game is 20-21, do you go for it on fourth down?

[01:32:18] Or do you punt it?

[01:32:19] You know, whatever.

[01:32:19] It's all dependent.

[01:32:20] But if the score is 44 to 45 to 42 and it's been an offensive showcase, yeah, you probably want to keep the ball and go for it because it's like neither defense has stopped anyone.

[01:32:31] But if it's different, you know, analytics doesn't really factor that in.

[01:32:35] So I think in college football, because the big play is so prominent, you think you're going to get one off and you don't link to your rationale.

[01:32:45] Like, you know what?

[01:32:45] How do we get out of here and just play from the 25-yard line?

[01:32:49] Because in going for two in the NFL, I like going for two because you have to move a pretty substantial distance in the field in overtime, even if you win the coin toss, to get in scoring position.

[01:33:05] You get the ball at the 30.

[01:33:07] You got to get to the 20.

[01:33:09] Most kickers are kicking it from the 40.

[01:33:11] So you figure you still got to get 30 to 35 yards to be in field goal range.

[01:33:16] Whereas in college football, I'll play for the tie and then go to overtime, let them get the ball first.

[01:33:26] If they get a touchdown, I'll get a touchdown and go for two because the parameters are different.

[01:33:32] So that's what it is.

[01:33:33] Sometimes coaches just kind of outthink themselves.

[01:33:35] Well, there were 42 seconds left.

[01:33:36] They were at their own 18, and he got strip sacked.

[01:33:40] They ran it in for a touchdown.

[01:33:41] Yeah.

[01:33:42] Yeah.

[01:33:43] In hindsight, yeah, it sucks.

[01:33:44] But like I said, a guy in a safety in the wrong position in a college football game could be a touchdown.

[01:33:53] Right.

[01:33:53] You know, we've seen a guy, we've seen a running back come out in the flat, and it's a flood concept to the left.

[01:34:02] He leaks out to a right.

[01:34:04] Yeah.

[01:34:04] Will route.

[01:34:05] Yeah.

[01:34:05] Like there's no one there because everyone flowed to the strong side where the flood was.

[01:34:11] And this person is just, they got to beat one guy at the 50 to get the end zone.

[01:34:17] We've seen that.

[01:34:17] And I think sometimes you, as a college coach, you rest on that.

[01:34:22] And the last game that I got my eye on is Virginia, the Cavaliers traveling up to Notre Dame.

[01:34:28] You know Notre Dame?

[01:34:29] When I saw it, I was like, Mike's going to have something for this.

[01:34:32] No, no, no.

[01:34:33] I'm not.

[01:34:33] I'm just watching it.

[01:34:34] I'm not calling anything.

[01:34:36] I'm not calling anything.

[01:34:37] When I saw it, I was like, Mike's going to have something on this.

[01:34:40] Yeah.

[01:34:40] 23 and a half.

[01:34:41] You know what I mean?

[01:34:42] I'm just watching it.

[01:34:44] I'm just watching it.

[01:34:45] So 23 and a half.

[01:34:46] So you're watching Virginia cover or something, some Northern Illinois kind of activity?

[01:34:55] Both.

[01:34:58] Both.

[01:34:59] I'm watching it.

[01:35:00] I'm not calling it.

[01:35:01] I'm not putting it on the official ledger, but I'm just watching it.

[01:35:05] I'm just watching it.

[01:35:06] Got my eye on it.

[01:35:07] You know what I'm saying?

[01:35:09] But yeah.

[01:35:09] But on that note, y'all, thanks for joining us.

[01:35:12] Like, review, subscribe, share, rate.

[01:35:14] Do all the free things.

[01:35:19] Do all the good things.

[01:35:21] We love you.

[01:35:23] And we'll be back on Tuesday.

[01:35:30] Peace.

[01:35:31] I saw that.

[01:35:34] I felt it.
