The guys get things started with Get It Off My Chest. Two-Five talks Big 12 Expansion (01:30), and Mr. Logical has a message for young athletes. (5:55) Then, its almost that time. Forget it, its time for football. Preview season is here, starting off with the #nfceast (12:45)
[00:00:01] Yes, you go down this thing to the sounds of sports reports as ordered. And first of all, the first and foremost thank you everybody for the 1000 views we hit another milestone. Can't hear what I'll chew. We love you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:00:22] But continue to spread the word or like, subscribe, review, rate us, share it. You all the free things, you all the good things. Because we definitely will appreciate it and keep fire coming for you. And I've got with me the one in all.
[00:00:39] Born in Texas raised in Virginia, represented New York roots from the little building the T-neck for it and candid everything in between matters and stand up. Shout out to the JVV, represent Jersey. You don't say it, just a logical. Do not bring in feelings to a fact fight.
[00:01:01] Don't do it. Maximum feelings, baby. And then it is I, you know, orthodox statistic. Going left so much that you thought I was South Park going left way more than the girl's fever said throwing more left to the on a wild. The guy ever dreamed of.
[00:01:18] Two five and tonight. We got the NFC East. It's about time to start talking about football. So let's get right to it. We get it off my chest. So last week was big 12 media days.
[00:01:38] I made a video, you know, two five daily called open for business where I brought up. Hey, you know what? Maybe the big 12 is trying to make a plot for Florida State in Climson.
[00:01:50] You know, there's a business the last time your Mark said they were open for business. It comes for new team. So, you know, is this one of those things where when we hear this man say these words. Something major is going to happen.
[00:02:03] We'll have to wait and see. So I wake up today. You know, I listen to a bunch of podcasts. I get on YouTube for a little bit. What do I hear? Is the big 12 making a move for Florida State? Big 12 making a move for Clemson.
[00:02:18] Now you know, NCAA 25 came out today. You know, so if you want to go ahead and set that up, you can get your first look at Florida State in Climson in the big 12.
[00:02:30] You know, Sam, but that just goes to say the ACC, just like the city of San Antonio has no vision. You know, saying there was a point in time where San Antonio was only 90,000 people.
[00:02:44] And here we are at 1.5 million people in a big the highways with the roads once in that time frame. That's exactly what happened to the ACC. The media contracts started changing money started getting thrown around. And the ACC signed themselves away to ESPN to the tune of 2036.
[00:03:06] So that's where that's why we are where we are and Clemson brought up a very good question. If we leave the ACC, how do you want to keep our conference or our game rights if we play it another conference? Get a real fine print.
[00:03:22] Not to read the fine print. So I expect Florida State in Climson at least to be on the move within the next two years.
[00:03:31] You know, as it's dependent on if it's the big 10, you know, if it's the big 10, we're probably looking closer to 2028 because they have contract runs out in 2031. So they're probably going to hold down until and I'm sure they don't want baggage right now.
[00:03:45] You know, when they take Florida State of Climson, they want no strings attached, no ties involved. So ACC, this is your last stand, but I'm afraid it's over my friends. Yeah, it's getting short, man. They're running out of valuable candidates and your conference.
[00:04:04] You just lose in people and people are following the money and everyone wants to talk about like, what's the problem here? And a problem that a lot of times may just simply the money. The money is too good to give up.
[00:04:18] I'm looking into the camera, sometimes the money just too good people going follow the money. Matter of where it goes. Even if it doesn't make G. Graphicists like Stanford being an ACC, it's literally called the Atlantic Coast Conference. You're going to complete the conference.
[00:04:34] It just makes it doesn't. I call it all coast conference. It's like the my like my my life that I live for like the last 43 years is like I've been living in a truce. Certain things may sense. Certain people got certain roles and certain movies, directors directed them.
[00:04:52] Certain people got paid and sports. Certain people got highlighted. Certain, you know, reages had this like certain music came from here was like, I cool was all like an understanding. Now it's just like people are just throwing all the rules out.
[00:05:08] Like no, you could be whatever you want anything you want. Like yeah, you can be the ACC champion. You play in Northern California. You could be at a big 12 and it's 18 teams is like, you know, we don't nothing has to make any sense to the board.
[00:05:25] You know, so. Yeah, that's that's just my two cents. You know, I thought that sort of part of the 200 billion dollars is being floated around between all these colleges. Meanwhile, people graduate and can't get jobs and they got to the loan that listen,
[00:05:39] I can get on that political platform right now. Do that later. Yeah. Speaking of like, you know, colleges and money and like things going around and football, like I'm loving it. Getting excited with mid July right now. Exciting football times, but it's summertime, you know,
[00:05:55] you got guys reporting to get used. Many cans rookie, many camps. We have the pie cast has been enough. The fantasy football practice dress has been enough. Coaches are kind of leaking their pants.
[00:06:08] They, oh yeah, we're going to have this guy line up a wide receiver and what round is it going to go into fantasy. It's all this football talk and all this calls for ball talk is great.
[00:06:18] But I want to get to the to some of the dark side and the dark side is ignorant behavior. I'm sick of my young black athletes. I hate just the way they're going to shit. You got to stop man, Georgia.
[00:06:32] Stop letting these dudes get chargers or challenges or Cameroes, whatever dealership you got to deal with. Get these dudes mini vans. Let them roll around six deep in a mini van. If you try to race that, then you just get kicked off the team.
[00:06:46] But if you put a 20 year old in the charger, he might press the gas a little hard. But you keep getting in trouble for vehicle stuff. We all remember Henry Rugs third one of the fastest. Why was he was in the league was on the Vegas Raiders.
[00:07:03] The Vegas Raiders are probably like this year's new darling team. He could have been a part of that opposite the Vonti Adams, but the steady's in prison for some years. For being to being just not making wise decisions, drinking a drive and speeding.
[00:07:21] And everyone saw that we all saw it, but get the Georgia players keep doing it. People are dying in these situations. And it's like, oh, we're not learning. Okay, maybe these few people are learning. But then you have guys like, Malik neighbors.
[00:07:38] We all know what your rookie contract is. We know what the taxes are in the state of New Jersey because technically, this is New York, he might have to pay some kind of New York tax.
[00:07:47] I'm not sure exactly whatever the team's headquarters, but even if you're paying the jersey tax, that money isn't as long as people think it is. So don't be in a strip club with all this jewelry on.
[00:08:00] Show on your teeth, don't you mind who like, oh, he just lives his life. Yeah, cool. You can live your life. You could take that same three, four thousand dollars you go on a strip of your waist and
[00:08:11] and just go to all the coups of resort, hit up to the girls on Instagram and taking what you would have the same fun. Like, you just showing off a doze at that point.
[00:08:22] And it's like, that's the thing I don't get like that doesn't impress a room for the women. Doze or impressed by that. Doze or watch in that and some doze might want to catch you in a parking lot because you're doing that. It happens. What's the boy name?
[00:08:38] Play for Denver. I caught an alley in Vegas. Javans. Yeah, no, no, the why receiver, Javans something I forgot what his name was. But he was out in Vegas all his jewelry on. Gamblin walked out the side door got caught in the alley.
[00:08:56] This happens to guys all the time, you get run down on because you want to go on the club and show off. We all know you got paid. You don't have to let everybody know you got paid. Oh, there are Williams. Now is it this one?
[00:09:11] There are Williams. The Denver, the Denver, why receiver probably was like 2,000, 9, 2010. Please, Javans something. I think you might have played for the red skins and then Denver. But was the same thing. Like listen, I get it where flashy people.
[00:09:27] I mean, you can see my stack of jewelry over here with the Georgia top. This, you know, it's what we do and I get it. But you got to recognize like the people before you. Some of this behavior was there downfall.
[00:09:40] I'm not saying you can't enjoy and buy and speak. You might even want to spend it on. Understanding your environment that you're in. Understanding that this because it's happened so many times, you're less likely to get a pass.
[00:09:57] Because if you go to Georgia, if you're the next kid in Georgia to get a speed and ticket or reckless driving ticket, they kick you off the team. Because it's like listen man, we've had this happen like nine times in a lot of two years.
[00:10:10] It's been all over the news yet. Some of those guys still got drafted. But we're not going to keep dealing with this and you are for string running back. We can get four more of you from any transfer school in America, they don't get ready.
[00:10:25] So you want to keep throwing your money away, throwing your time away by giving it back to the government because you want to do things that put them in your crosshairs, biomeas keep doing it, but other than that man, get your shit straight.
[00:10:36] Get a financial advisor puts your money where it belongs and do things that are entertaining. But you don't have to draw that kind of negative attention to yourself because it makes you look like a target.
[00:10:46] And then when something does happen to you, people are going to look at that like, oh, see, well, this is how you were behaving. We saw the video on Instagram.
[00:10:54] So this is like, this is your life, you're in like no one's going to treat you like a person like if you do get robbed, no one's got treats like a victim. They would treat you like you deserved it. Don't forget my guy Jordan Addison,
[00:11:06] you know getting a deal you. I fall in the sleep behind the wheel. Yeah, it just and I get it man. I was 22, I was 23. I was doing a reckless stuff. But when I went to command, it was called,
[00:11:21] and it was like that do stand up there, giving a briefing on a DUI. It's like, well, or they had to go form up outside the wing commanders, but then I followed clock and morning and saying, yes, service dress out there 5 a
[00:11:35] day and a Saturday morning and changing the DUI countdown, which your commander, you commander, your chief, your flight chief, your supervisor, you're out there and your blues changing the DUI countdown sign every day.
[00:11:50] And then you're out to get every weekend given out the business cards for the taxis. Like, okay, this is a serious thing. Let me just go ahead and pay the $5 for the cab like don't even drive your car to the club. Like, that was one thing they'd written.
[00:12:06] If you know you're going to be drinking, just don't even drive your car to the club because the likelihood of you getting the DUI driving somebody else's car, even the club is highly unlikely.
[00:12:15] But if you leave a year car still parked there like, I don't want to go here and then you drive it at home. Now you stuck in a traffic light asleep. So I know just wise enough, you know, once you guys have long careers
[00:12:29] and you know, sustainability after the after your career. But you see how quick it goes by the wayside. facts. All right, so we're moving on to the NFC East. AKA smart enough. Now us, so as I've sit here, looking down at the NFC East,
[00:12:49] you know, you got a Philadelphia Eagles trying to bounce back from whatever the hell happened last season. We still don't know. I'm surprised we didn't get some stories out of that like out of last season coming into this year of with the Eagles fellow parts.
[00:13:04] So I guess we're going to have to wait about 10 years for dealing herds' book. You know, to me, you got Dallas coming off of a pathetic. I said pathetic with a capital P playoff loss as if that's anything new. But that one just felt extra pathetic.
[00:13:21] You know, say you've got the giants bringing back Daniel Jones from injury. Still hasn't thrown for 25 touchdowns in a season yet. You know, some people would have you believe that he's had top 10 quarterback seasons anyway. That a good course. I made it articulate argument.
[00:13:40] It did a course, you know, you have the beloved Washington commanders who have their franchise quarterback apparently. But they still got a DB a player out here looking like the passionate a Christ dude. You know, saying I think he's eight since Christmas ended.
[00:13:58] So, you know, we'll get to that in a little bit. So, Mr. logical what are your early thoughts on the NFC East NFC East my early thoughts are it could be interesting. It really could be interesting.
[00:14:14] I think I believe that the whatever the Eagles went through last year. There's still a lot of like the consensus is maybe. With the new old regime kind of leaving maybe some new guys step up because you lost a son rhetoric.
[00:14:33] Flutter Cox Kelsey retired now you add in say, Juan. You lost both coordinators DC and the OC. So many. Second year in a row. So maybe getting getting some people out in the law.
[00:14:48] We're we all we all talk about Jaylin hurts and like his propensity to be just like a leader leader of men they talk about. And he's time someone talks about him and the interview to talk about his leader of men he's leader of men.
[00:14:59] Maybe now he can take that responsibility now because you see you lose three or four leaders on cyberatic. Fletcher Cox and Jason Kelsey. Maybe Jalen Hertz is still a great enough leader that he can fill the void those three guys left.
[00:15:13] Because sometimes you lose some teams lose the leader in this kind of fall apart. Because that person was like the core like we think about the the Patriots. Tom Brady was probably like the leader.
[00:15:25] Everyone can look to him and he can cover up the mistakes of everybody else when he left New England has been struggling every since.
[00:15:32] And not like he went down a tampa he's so struggling but you could just tell when it was like time for it to like really take off he handled it.
[00:15:40] I think Jaylin Hertz has absolutely do this year and he has say quen bock in the hand of ball all two said I'd help Dallas. I don't know if if it's the same thing like are these contract negotiations motivation.
[00:15:55] Or is it gonna be my anchor hurts I can't go. Because it can go either way and I think that's probably the most interesting thing with Washington you got a rookie quarterback in a head coach getting the second chance.
[00:16:09] That can go either way. You know some teams you look at like okay this team is still rebuild or you could clearly see it and they would Daniel Jones and the Giants.
[00:16:19] I think the the all season hard knocks comment like that one clip everyone's been kind of sharing the Twitter and they were talking about on different sports podcast with Jones Shane talking about you know do I really want to pay 12 million dollars.
[00:16:31] To have run it back and you know at the panicked out 40 million dollars a total ball over the case me prepare for you.
[00:16:38] Maybe that's the situation where does that team fall apart does Drew lock look better than Daniel Jones on a weekly basis and you say well and I give him a shot do you try to wiggle your way out of the day and Joe's contract so once again you start out o and three.
[00:16:57] Any of these teams start out o and two or after the first month in the season they don't look like they don't look like they're going to win the division. It can be catastrophic problems for every team short of Washington because they've already kind of started their rebuild.
[00:17:15] So I think Washington can lead after the first four weeks could be two and two and it could look like okay we're going somewhere but Philly Dallas at two and two could look like things might not be a little shaky.
[00:17:27] If they're two and two but Daniel Jones isn't the reason that they got their two wins but he's definitely the reason to get their two losses.
[00:17:34] And that can explode so I think just it just so many so much drama with this conference and I think that's why the project that's why the most popular team is not just region because Dallas isn't one of the bigger markets is just you know we talked about the Dallas owner in the 70s kept the many easy because he wanted to play.
[00:17:51] And he's playing the game. So like when I look at the division my first thought is Philadelphia is the most talented team and Philadelphia does the best as far as addressing needs when it comes to free agency the draft.
[00:18:09] So on so forth like you always talk about how they basically have the last three years of the University of Georgia on their defense and and no on top of that you know what was their problem last year on defense besides they could stop them run but you know James Bradbury you know say might as well nickname that got butter.
[00:18:30] So you know he was getting toasted by everybody you know dare you say start at the fall off you know getting a little bit older and little longer than to if you will so what did they do.
[00:18:41] They go out and get quingon Mitchell you know who has the potential to be a top two or three corner from this draft they go out and get Cooper DijÃn who everybody you know like media wise was falling over.
[00:18:53] You know so if nothing else they got a good special teams player but potentially you know they have another defensive back with speed.
[00:19:01] Going up against CD you land in Brandon cooks going up against Malete neighbors going up against Terry McLaren and jahan Dawson so that's what Philadelphia needed to address outside of.
[00:19:13] Whatever personality conflicts you know we're going on in that locker room because we still don't have answers and you mentioned say quand bark. He's going to be jellon hurts best friend he's going to add an element to that offense catching the ball out of the backfield.
[00:19:29] That is going to save the Eagles and save him from making some of the throws that he made last year because they got into a pattern last year where jellon hurts just said.
[00:19:39] I'm throwing it to AJ Brown I don't care who's around I don't care how many people are around.
[00:19:45] Even though they had Devante Smith across the way you know say even though there's a person named Dallas got her that exists you know he was just going to force the ball to AJ Brown in the course that could be.
[00:19:58] I think he's a little bit better than Jason Chorn. Not better faster I meant to say he's faster than Jason Chorn so we'll see what happens there but but you know so they started 10 in one.
[00:20:13] And then they went one in five down the stretch to include that loss that Arizona the thing that was concerning for me that I wonder if it's going to roll over into this season you brought up jellon hurts in his leadership.
[00:20:26] That was what stood out to me because when I was watching jellon hurts especially that playoff game against apah.
[00:20:32] He just seemed so disinterested you know like back in the day when the heat played Dallas in the finals and LeBron was going through whatever he was going through the word it kept saying was like he's just so disengaged.
[00:20:46] That's what concerned me about jellon hurts because I had never seen that before we saw this guy get benched in college. You know and have to come back and say his team's bacon when that quarterback got hurt and he sat there the whole time didn't make any waves.
[00:21:02] He just took it all in he came in and he did the job when it was time to do the job so that stood out to me and I wonder.
[00:21:10] You know they're bringing in big fan geo you know they got rid of Brian Johnson as the office coordinator, but I don't necessarily like killing more go you so you know.
[00:21:22] So to me there's no question in my mind that everything created equal Philadelphia should walk away with this division. I just don't know if they can. Well, I mean that team then Texas did have the guy who was second in MVP voting.
[00:21:43] Oh you go back and repeat myself huh. But with that second his numbers were probably more in line with a traditional MVP vote.
[00:21:56] Like we talked about the Lamar MVP like it doesn't have an astra going and I know we've been talking about like a lot of people who win the board and chat with you. And I'm going to repeat myself is what you both do. No so.
[00:22:08] I'm not like you know I just have to wait a grandson water. I. I want to believe in Philly. You talked about that disengagement with Jalen Hertz. I've been like I said just like I referenced like my my kids playing sports like they played a lot of sports.
[00:22:27] I didn't I played baseball grown up and then around like 78th grade. Like I didn't grow so I didn't I couldn't play anymore sports. So I was like you know I just kept you know Kevin academic.
[00:22:37] But being involved with their sports and just seeing them and talking to them at the wins and losses being at all the games over the last I'm going to say about eight years. I've been at multiple games. What I noticed is that. Towards the end of the season.
[00:22:56] Sometimes you're done. Before the seasons over you just happen to make the playoffs so you're just playing one more game. Well you're done at the rest of the tournament.
[00:23:10] But you just got to finish because it's an all day thing like ever one year my son was at a tournament and it was started late the gym was so hot.
[00:23:21] And his two matches were kept getting pushed because they couldn't get the rejected right so as we're just there all day you just like he just more more you just felt like I just don't feel like being here. I love this sport.
[00:23:35] I love doing it but just today is not the day, but I'm just here. So he did his first match and he went for his move. It didn't work. And he was like you know what the kid pand them he was like that I want to go.
[00:23:48] I feel it today and I think that's how somebody Eagles probably felt about the season. You know what we started off 10 and one so you basically stumbled into the playoffs finish and one and five down a stretch.
[00:23:58] It's like they probably like you know what I'm done with this season. I'm done here in Sierra County. I think that's that's probably the biggest thing that I think is going to be the detriment of Philly.
[00:24:07] I don't think their head coach is more mature than any of the players. I think the head coach slack of maturity is going to be the downfall.
[00:24:17] I just have a feeling where instead of him looking at a you know let me pull up this guy don't just pull up a game or a random well since you want to talk about schedule. That's it. I know real quick real quick real quick.
[00:24:30] So you know I think they start off fine right they start off with green Bay and Brazil. You know so obviously that's going to be a tough game you know Jordan love is the second coming he's the Messiah.
[00:24:41] You know the money is $66 million you know to be but did we two and three you know Atlanta Monday night football New Orleans. Yes, it really starts one and two we got a problem.
[00:24:54] I'm not even talking about them starting off that I'm just talking about his behavior for instance week seven December 20th against the giants. I think that's their first that is their first division game. Yeah, so that's their first division game.
[00:25:08] Okay, I've been to met life a couple times the fans are like you're like right on top of the silence is not a lot of space is a pretty tight arena because like where's located.
[00:25:20] I can see him like getting into it with the fans after their first touchdown. He's known to do that and not focus on you know sitting in the kick team out.
[00:25:32] Well if I remember correctly, I think it was the playoff game and he got into it with the crowd and that was when you first started bringing that up.
[00:25:42] He got it like the game against the coach when they've after the five Frank right he was like that was for Frank like they won that game 17 to 15 and something like that. I see if they beat him like 37 to seven and it was like a one like.
[00:25:57] I think they might have been down late and they were down early because they were like, I don't know if they were undefeated but they were like. It was crazy like they were clearly better. Yeah, clearly playing a team that just fired their hey coach people truly.
[00:26:13] Yeah, they were the head coach and he's like yellin at the audience went dog you want to game 17 to 15 like be easy so I think that is probably the piece. Like if I had to go if I had the rank. Hey coach maturity they would be last there.
[00:26:31] Team cohesion I'm going to Dallas. I think they have defensive fall apart because their defensive coordinators on a lane dot contract the star wide receivers that Nick has gotten extended the very vocal defensive in who. I like but think he fades at the end of the year.
[00:26:53] He's not on the extension yet their quarterback's not extension for the second. I guess we can call this the third time they put them four time maybe they put him through this because if you factor in.
[00:27:05] They franchise them twice if franchise them twice he broke his ankle then they gave him a big deal. And then over last couple years it could have extended them last year or even so far this year they haven't done it.
[00:27:18] And the head coach who has 36 wins in the last three years he's not extended is like I get if you don't want to pay the quarterback.
[00:27:26] 60 million dollars but the coach has gotten you 36 wins in the last three years he should have gotten extension like you use you as an organization half the put your faith in something because right now they're putting their faith in.
[00:27:43] And this expectation that people are just kind of just grind. As a proven year I'm like you got too many people prove it deals what I could all leave but that was something to have brought up because you know that once is 60 million you know CD was the
[00:27:58] person. I don't know if he's really asking for 60 million. He was watching. He was watching. He was watching. He was watching. After what Dallas put him through the first time they went through these contract talks. Well he already got 90 something million is first year.
[00:28:14] I know he had to work to get like he had to they had to fight for that you know to me and we are again you know you got CD lamb. You know trying to get paid you got Michael Parsons doing everything but concentrating on football.
[00:28:28] Our year with teammates on the internet. You have to get they strout our great. They are great. They are big. They are big. I don't like a lot of my cast. I like our podcast and I like their clips.
[00:28:40] You know and and you know, you know, Vander Rish has gone. You know, they you know, they lost a few players to Washington as you know Dante Fowler, Dorns Armstrong,
[00:28:51] Tyler B. It is you know, they lost a lot of people you know so now I question their depth as well. Jerry Jones didn't do anything in the off season. They did. They didn't do anything of no.
[00:29:03] Yeah, they did they did to Miami heat thing when they're like hey we are who we are. You know come beat us at least Miami heat. Have Terry rose year to fall back on that. That's not even have anything similar to that. I'll throw Jerry this bone pause.
[00:29:20] He does draft well. He does draft players that perform very early in their contracts. The problem is he always wants to pay them a lot. And now he doesn't want to pay him at all right. He went years pain. Jalen then he paid Zee.
[00:29:46] And he paid back eventually. So he pays his guys. He paid tire he paid his office online. He was making everybody like the highest paid player for all these chunks of years and it wasn't
[00:29:57] Result in the wins and I think now he's like he went to Pinch of completely the opposite direction. Like I'm not paying anybody. You got to go prove it. That's not a smart business move because that will be in Nevada next year. Don't pass his event.
[00:30:11] That's the big. And that's the thing right because you even when you look at the backfield, you know, the running game was a visible last year. You know Tony Pollard's over in Nashville now. You know so you got Rico Dotto and Royce Freeman.
[00:30:26] You got do some Vaughan who I'm taller than. You know and then you got like a whole lot of nothing. Oh yeah, you got Zeeke you brought back the cookie monster.
[00:30:36] So I guess that puts you back in prime position to witness division and make some noise in the playoffs. I think not you know so like what I was going to say when I earlier when I had said, You go on a make me repeat myself.
[00:30:50] It wasn't because I said anything tonight. You know saying I want to go back to last season when I just tell everybody, Look at that numbers at home and then look at his numbers on the road. One that'll tell you why he didn't win MVP.
[00:31:05] Two in a tell you why Dallas falters, you know so like this is just inconsistency at its finest. You know and so when I'm looking at Dallas, you know for example, like when I'm looking at their schedule right because you know you got to check this.
[00:31:23] Right so so week five. They go to Pittsburgh they go to Heinzfield and I know I'm down on the road. I know I'm down on Pittsburgh this year. It's not even called Heinzfield anymore. You know I think it's a censure field or something like that.
[00:31:37] Yeah they go there then they get the twice at home before they're by week right. They come off the by go to San Francisco and Atlanta back to back now. Now I know Dallas always plays well against Kirk cousins but Kirk cousins should be informed by then.
[00:31:56] I think that he's going to be back in shape by then. But let me tell you something plan the 49ers for the Cowboys is like screaming candy men. You know this this team has been beaten on their ass. And it's a set of careers.
[00:32:13] You know Anderson Santa Clara or San Jose depending on who you talk to, you know. You know I just I don't like that part of the schedule. You know I don't like that part of the schedule.
[00:32:27] But you know you're coming off of an easy the easy portion of your schedule. But then you're going to hit it's going to hit you writing your face and how does Dallas react. And this is where when I brought up death earlier, you know if they have any.
[00:32:40] A Trish in at all is branded cooks going to step up this year. You know like I just look around Dallas and it's not even the fact because when you look at a team like San Francisco for example.
[00:32:49] You can look at San Francisco and say well hey San Francisco didn't really bring in a lot. But guess what San Francisco's got the best roster in the league. You know the beat I don't even know if Dallas is. A top six roster at this point.
[00:33:06] So those those are my questions. I mean, Dallas is a lot of question with Dallas but I think because they are. I think offensive line they're always solid. Tyler died and they drafted him.
[00:33:18] The run the run game will be solid because you don't need every team doesn't need say quans. CMC and you know all these guys may go is we think about something I said that I heard today. Najihariahs had a thousand 35 yards last year and.
[00:33:38] Warren had like 840 or something like that. So they had terrible quarterback play and they still got 1800 yards out of there to run a back.
[00:33:50] They're going to run for now 62 and granted Najihariahs is their kind of resize so like that probably helps them get those extra yards at towards into the game. But with no quarterback threat, they still were able to manage that amount of yards. You get zika in the folds.
[00:34:07] People always talk about zika being out of shape but like he still scored like 12 touchdowns a year before he went to New England. He just went to New England. Like I could have the I could have called plays against the New England's offense from my house.
[00:34:21] Like you know, just put eight in the box and make McDonald's make it all time throw like like Zika was going to be able to do anything in that offense. Yeah, very quiet.
[00:34:31] That was 35 but like that's what kind of that's the stuff that kind of happens when you strip it down. I can kind of see Jerry's point of view is like okay, I'm not going to go and put the next three or four years on the books right now.
[00:34:48] If I don't know how these guys going to play out. I'm going to get it.
[00:34:52] They do his game, but in the same sense we see it play out with back before and I talk about what the Georgia players and all we can see is play out before you ended up paying him anyway. And I'll just answer your question.
[00:35:07] I don't know if that is going to want 60 million from another team. I think he'll go somewhere else for four years 210 million, but it's fully guaranteed. I think he'll take that 52 and a half fully guaranteed to go to Dallas, let me go to Vegas.
[00:35:29] But if the cowboys are going to try to make it deal with them, they're like now I want 60 because they're they're dangling them out there. Because I could cause this probably wanted you probably want to guarantee money from Minnesota.
[00:35:42] He probably wanted more than a hundred million guaranteed, but when they say they were going to give it. He was like okay cool, I'll just take this 180 for four years from Atlanta.
[00:35:52] He probably wanted more than 45 from Minnesota because I'm already here, but I'm willing to go somewhere else for 45. Yeah, he's got a lot of the dairy. Well, he's very often saying fuck you, Amy.
[00:36:04] Yeah, he won't go be like you with the baseball bat, but I think you're walking to Davis office, like listen man, just guarantee you my guarantee my whole contract and I'll come because the Raiders as a right now if you think about it or probably the only team that would be in the market for a big free agent quarterback because they don't only hit the market.
[00:36:28] And I think them not drafting the quarterback, not making a move to go from my leave 13 to the top 10 to get a guy is evident that I think they're willing to ride with garden, and she would have you get.
[00:36:40] See what Antonio Pierce can do with his program and then bring a guy like back in next year. I think that's yeah, the same. A saint's only spent about 25 million in free agency and they still spent about 10 more 10 million more than the Cowboys did.
[00:36:56] You know, but the Cowboys do have Trevondig's coming back. What's that going to look like? You know, coming off the ACL, you know he was feast or famine and begin with it was either pick or he was giving it up.
[00:37:07] You know, you got the wrong, the land, you know broke the record for pick sixes last year.
[00:37:11] You know, what's that look like year two? You know, obviously I don't think that is realistic to think that he's going to do the same pick six have the same pick six success that he had.
[00:37:23] This past season in that way so you know, I don't know what the summer defense look like compared to. And that's what I'm going to bring up. I'm there so Washington, right. I was going to bring that up. I do like Mike Zimmer.
[00:37:37] You know, I still but I got questions about Dallas's linebackers, you know, and I just think I think the word I think the thing with Dallas is.
[00:37:47] You know, you've gotten used to certain things. You know, Dallas is good for 11 or 12 wins. Dallas is good to win games at home. You know, but this is the NFL. You know, like your reputation doesn't carry you.
[00:38:02] You know, you have to maintain these successes and I just don't know if they can. So as we go down, you know, to do the land over Maryland, land over Maryland not to be confused with Washington DC. You know, jaded Daniels has the keys to the franchise.
[00:38:24] You know, Austin Eccler wants to do half the work. So he's here for half the pay. You know, two years and now he's going to share responsibility with Brian Robinson.
[00:38:36] So maybe that'll make him happy because we don't have to rely on him. You know, but you know, Washington still has office of line questions that I don't think I've been resolved yet.
[00:38:47] I know they made a big push and free agency to get some linemen, you know, but I felt like you missed the opportunity in a draft, maybe to get some linemen.
[00:38:55] They went in draft and Johnny Newton, you know, who's probably the best defense of tackle in the draft, but you already got the wrong pain and Jonathan Allen already.
[00:39:03] So, you know, you want to call some turnovers and give your Ricky a short feel. You'll flackle and you figure what an office of mine with the young mobile quarterback.
[00:39:16] You're probably going to get the ball out of his hands quick because most of the office of line trouble comes from I don't think it's the offensive linemen's talent.
[00:39:28] I think to be that to be in the league and be one of these elite groups because they don't they never come off the field. A lot of it is just is the quarterback getting the ball out on time is the running back hitting a hole when available.
[00:39:40] Some other disc industry, you can't keep changing your line every year either. Yeah, so if you keep these guys in there and you know, you give them a simple blocking scheme.
[00:39:50] And the quarterback is not there holding the ball for four or five seconds. Listen, you got two and a half seconds to make a decision about three seconds of triggers got to be pulled.
[00:39:58] Because other than that, you're given up sacks, you're going to make the offensive linemen look bad because you'll be pissed off at them. They'll be pissed off. You like, yeah, that boss wants to come out hot.
[00:40:06] I got black over here. So you get hit like that's the whole point.
[00:40:10] And it's called 36 giant dragon hot like that means you guys don't get to the ball. Let me mad at me and I didn't even know the ground, I hope you up who that happened to happen. Somebody recently was like.
[00:40:21] Oh, it's Russ Russell Wilson in Denver like ever. Yeah, like they didn't help them up after you got hit or something.
[00:40:28] We can go out coming over to the sidelines by the micers and stuff getting cut stuff by the line back because the offensive linemen weren't stepping in between them because.
[00:40:37] He's there livelihood. Like listen, you perform. I get paid. Like I need you to do your job. I'm doing mine. Don't hold on to the ball or scramble and you run. You run into a sack now. I look like I gave up the sack.
[00:40:50] Right. So yeah, so I think I like watching like the new head coach like to do QB. I like the fact that they. They grabbed them. Second overall it was no doubt about it. Like we all knew he was going to Washington.
[00:41:07] I've like the receiving core. I like, you know, I think they still might be if they have some kind of equity. Maybe that brand at you deal is out there. I don't know how to calendar works.
[00:41:25] I don't know if you why receive a core, but it's like what they should do tell Brad and I you can go be a diva somewhere else. Go bring in to you. Higgins. For cheaper.
[00:41:39] You're not going to get a for cheaper cheaper than I you know, I look like this. They are like 40 million. Not 40 million. They are like 31 million or something like that. They want to dollar more than the other one gets that's fine.
[00:41:55] And you know what I'm telling you. Higgins is you were number two sir. Yeah, not at six five. Two, 25. He's not a number two. I want to know one and one.
[00:42:07] Well, they will just keep what we will just keep where we go with I you because of chemistry. The relationship between him and the him and the him and the you're starting quarterback right now. Because that's that's going to matter.
[00:42:19] We see we see how chemistry in relationship basically propelled the chiefs to a suitable victory two years ago. So we're going to be a little bit more chase. Joe Murrow's bar chase you know that made it to Sioux Role. Just off that relationship.
[00:42:32] So yeah, maybe I don't want to get to get rid of. They had to ownership group. So maybe maybe they don't want to be. They don't want to be too drastic because you know, I've always talked about these new ownership groups trying to microwave championships.
[00:42:46] But I think this is a move. This is calculated enough because San Francisco for a team that was up in overtime. And in the super bowl, they're off season feels worse than fill these all season. So I think if you can say, probably should already made that deal.
[00:43:05] I think I think you should make all these deals before the draft when all the pick scene sexy. And just put those out there like because I would have given on my second round pick for you. Because it's just going to think, you know what?
[00:43:17] I think we can get Brandon and I you can the second round. But you know, Ricky Pierce all anyway. So I just feel like making these deals before the draft is makes the most sense to me.
[00:43:28] But I'm not like I'm not pretty to the inside knowledge of, you know, these NFL's. I'm like, I like a lot of what Washington did. You know, outside of Jayden Daniels, you know, I feel Washington got the best tied in in the draft.
[00:43:41] You know, been sent it and then on top of that, you have Zach Ertz. You know, for him to kind of, you know, learn from get some mentorship. You don't even have to play or you know, that's the best part. You don't even have to play them.
[00:43:55] But just having him around someone who was as good as he was at that position for such a long time. Show them how to be a professional. Yeah, show them how to be a professional all that could stuff.
[00:44:05] You know, like I said, you got the half man Austin Eccler. You know, so if nothing else, you just enhanced your red zone. You know, but you find that he finds the goal line. Yes, he does. You know what I mean?
[00:44:17] Some certain guys just it like where he most is another guy's like they can just find in. And all of a sudden that was one of those guys.
[00:44:24] They just, they just, I don't know if it's just a play call or if it's just a confidence or if they just know these. We got eight calls for him down here that I guarantee.
[00:44:35] So we got 18 calls like it either you have a bunch of calls for this person that can get them in and zone or they are just relentless. Like we talked about, you know, NFC's from top of a Zika. Some of these guys can just find in zone. Yeah.
[00:44:51] Also, I was one of those guys and having a young older quarterback, you know, we talked about the transfer. And like I said, my by that's it. My cap to Jane Dan's for his maturity is I'll talk about it again.
[00:45:04] The way they treated him in the locker room when he was leaving the areas on the state is like, every single one of y'all would transfer to another school if you had the opportunity.
[00:45:12] Like, I don't know what the loyalty to the areas on the state was but I'm like if you, like say there's a players who wanted to go to like BAM on something like that and BAM a call.
[00:45:22] Like you can knock that person for taking opportunity that you think is going to be better for them. Yeah, you team might take a step back but like it is what some people got look up for the lives but the way they treated them in that locker room.
[00:45:34] The fact that they recorded it, people just kind of in his face and they put it out there. And he never really said, I use that as motivation or anything like that. He just went out and just played right when the damn hides me.
[00:45:46] Yeah, so so I like like I said, Washington bottom of the league and defense like literally bottom. They went out and you know, they bought in Dorn's Armstrong who's been underrated a Dallas, you know, Dante Foller who should enhance a little bit of a non-existent past rush.
[00:46:05] Yeah, he didn't have the land of the. No, he didn't but I'm just saying like he's still better than at that. And anything. He didn't want to say. He looks better. He did better at that than anybody washed and had on the roster. You know, you got.
[00:46:20] Body Wagner, you know, still there to provide that leadership that overall. The overall mature mentality like you would talk about that.
[00:46:29] Or it's how to be a professional, but then you got my guy Frankie Louvou from Carolina who's going to come in and I think I think the idea is to have him play the Mike a Parsons role. Obviously he is not Mike a Parsons, but he's quick enough.
[00:46:46] I don't think he's good enough in coverage, but if you just line them up to go get the quarterback, I think you might have something. You know, he's got a journey. You got that. Yeah. It's all about coaching.
[00:46:56] You got you got Jeremy Chen and you know, he fits Dan Quinn's profile. You know, he six foot three is arms touch the ground when he walk. You know, the man, he's just one of those school draggers that will come out there and hit you.
[00:47:09] You know, and say what you want about Dan Quinn, make all the jokes you want to make about Dan Quinn. He took a team to the Super Bowl. You know, we know what happened. We ain't got to go there. Yeah. He took a team to the Super Bowl.
[00:47:24] And the thing about that, it wasn't just a Super Bowl run. It was the midseason adjustment like I said, the fan, I recognize it and it doing interviews with guys. He had a bunch of young guys, Dianne Jones, Jalen Collins, Louis Conne.
[00:47:38] Like he had a bunch of young players. He's like, yeah. He's like, yeah, he's like, just play fast. He took that same Seattle tackling technique and they cover three with the the hard hidden strong safety and the free safety.
[00:47:56] That was rumble looking for the ball that it was a Ricardo. Yeah, they called him Rico. So they had Keanu Biel, planted camp Chancellor role. And they had corners underneath. And basically just was like you talk about you got Lou and I get to coverage.
[00:48:13] Quinn's just going to give him a spot. Like listen, on the snap, I want you to drop seven steps to your right and just stand there. Anyone comes in there taking about this guy's going to be behind you.
[00:48:26] This guy's going to be able to top this safety is going to be coming down the middle on these kinds of plays. So because we talked about, you know, we had this conversation on a hot box that the I think was.
[00:48:39] What's the guy's name? The former defense coordinator of the year before and they run a lot of cover four and quarters and the thousand receivers, the Dallas corners were getting torts. And it was like, the scheme was too complicated.
[00:48:50] Guys said at the end, like in their exit interviews, it was like we were just trying to do too much and Dan Quinn came in like listen, maybe we'll play cover three. Would have saved that row like a rover in the middle.
[00:49:02] Pressure up the edge, defensive tackle's first of the middle and they went they went to hybrid with the linebacker. It bit them in the playoff game because they didn't have big backs like big linebackers to stop the run.
[00:49:13] But for the most part, they were able to cover tight ends and they're able to make tackles and space.
[00:49:19] That's all really at due to be a top defense because what watches problem was they were getting beat over the top because they run a lot of cover two and if the safety is out of position it covers he was a rat.
[00:49:29] And they just cornered us the top of the passenger to Christ dude. Yeah, just it feels torch the commander's last year and I was like, and then Atlanta played them. I was like why are not throwing the seat rounds of just them was throwing?
[00:49:42] Because like these people were was wide open but that's because it just was the scheme. So if he's not open, he's not open. I'm feeling optimistic of a four to a no start. You know, it's not going to be easy.
[00:49:56] You know, going to Tampa to start out and then coming home for a division game against the giants. Then you go to Cincinnati for a Monday night game. So I'm a chalk that up as an L obviously. You know, saying, but as I look at this.
[00:50:11] You know, when I get around week seven. Week seven through nine, Carol Lana Chicago at the giants. Gotta go to and one there. Gotta go to and one there.
[00:50:25] And I'm not even like that far off a saying, I want three and no in that stretch but you got at least getting me to it one there because. Starting with 10. Pittsburgh at Billy and then Dallas. You know what I mean?
[00:50:43] So you might get me one into there. You're more likely to get. So the vision game on the road. Like I said, Met life is pretty hostile environment. Yeah, I mean, and they got swept by the giant slasher. They were kicking. You did without your job.
[00:51:00] They were kicking jet fans out of that game last year when I went for the talk and it's game. They were just tossing. They was guys because they were just on the rafts. They was on the coaches. They just was yelling and cussing.
[00:51:10] So if Jacob keep his head, then you can probably win there. But we got to see what the giants are going to bring because I'm not sure what they're.
[00:51:21] I know they drafted the league neighbors, but I don't know are they going to be an air it out kind of offence. So that remember they drafted jail in height last year.
[00:51:32] They drafted jail in height and he's you know, so I might he was going to be one of the best why I was using Lee didn't really shine through. So Washington has a chance.
[00:51:41] But I always give the nod to the home team and like these rivalry games, especially in NFC East. I just think a lot it's tough for these teams to win on the row because the fans that they're super bowl.
[00:51:58] When Dallas comes to fill the filly fans are probably when Atlanta comes to filly the filly fans are going to be filly fans. When Dallas comes to filly, it's going to be a little bit more ramped up.
[00:52:12] That environment is going to be a little little you know, a little bit more complicated to navigate than the Atlantic game. They're still going to be rally they're still going to be wow they might still throw batteries or whatever hell they do with filly games.
[00:52:24] They still might fight in the audience. You know, Mike you might still see the dean of Temple of the screaming at the rest. They're all like the guy was you guys like who's like the dean of pan a few years back.
[00:52:36] But when Dallas when the Giants come to town, it's just a different environment I think the first time Jake goes into met life. I think it's that's going to be a tough win.
[00:52:46] So do feel or you know the game well the game begins Chicago is going to be a home. The little judge back in the back in the old link.
[00:53:00] So yeah, that's going to be a tough stretch but we're watching him like I said I think six and 11 seven and 10 for them will be probably the successful season. All right I'm a circle back to that. I am excited to see the Giants defense.
[00:53:20] I wish I could say the same thing about their offense, but I like I think the Giants might have something with his defense they went out and got Brian Burns from Carolina. So all that means to me.
[00:53:31] All that means to me is that Dexter Lawrence and came on to buto going to be able to work. You know I like the on to banks in the secondary so. The Giants in my estimation I'm going to just go out on a limb.
[00:53:46] You know are going to have a top eight defense you know the problem is.
[00:53:53] Then I've a body of it's like 25 yeah and it's not even necessarily about Daniel Jones per se because I do like Brian day ball you know I think that he's a smart play caller I think that you're straight.
[00:54:07] You know it's just that well not only that but it goes back to what I always say that you hate that I always say but.
[00:54:15] I don't know what to expect from the offensive line from the Giants you know they've been terrible for quite at least from the standpoint of. I don't know what to expect from the Giants you know.
[00:54:37] But when you give Daniel Jones too much time to think back there and he holds on to that ball bad things happen. Yeah but. I'm not because I'm not because I'm like a I'm not going to argue with you.
[00:54:56] Yeah yeah yeah yeah I don't feel like that the Giants have the weapons they need. I think they look like oh we we've cracked them. Neighbors we're going to we're going to make it a make it work.
[00:55:12] I don't I don't see a person on their offense that's keeping a defensive coordinator up coming up with new plans and maybe that's going to be my late neighbors. So I figure you if you look at but even why receivers.
[00:55:28] Why receivers don't often make you don't keep you awake at night you you I think you can just be like you know what we'll just double.
[00:55:40] And like this kind of it like if you have one guy like the ability to build a ticket you should do okay I'm going to put my second corner on your best for receiver and I'm a hat he's going to have help all day.
[00:55:52] And then when I put my best corner on your second on your number two I received you know something that simple like I don't think defensive coordinators are going to.
[00:56:00] You play like the Revens is our cool we got dare Henry we have the Marjacks and we got the runny game we got the tight end we got Zay flowers we have to account for four five guys every play.
[00:56:14] The Giants if you can account for a Malik neighbors if that's the guy that you got to watch.
[00:56:20] And then that's then I said I think you can stay in the framework of your defense you don't have to blitz if you if you're not a team that blitz is a lot.
[00:56:27] You don't have to do it that week if you're a team that likes to sit and zone and that works I don't think the giants make you adjust that at all.
[00:56:38] And that's that's going to be the problem because the expectation of danger zones 40 million at the quarterback position is a lot of money to you and I because I'm not paying 40 million dollars anybody I'm not signing each check so I'm not going to laugh at that amount of money.
[00:56:50] But the pressure that thing comes with that I think the conversations that come with that he seems to be doing well and all of his press conferences has been the lead because he's been pretty much a marred for getting drafted six overall anyway.
[00:57:04] So I think he's been dealing with like you don't belong New York media questions since he got drafted so I don't think he's going to fall apart this year.
[00:57:13] But as Brian Dable and a hot seat is he worried about his job because if he's not well then he's probably going to bench Daniel Joe if he doesn't perform because like I'm here. Like if he knows like I'm here like I'm not losing this line.
[00:57:32] You know when it comes to draft night we always talk about it right you don't know what's real and what's a illusion right but we heard enough reports in rumors about.
[00:57:43] Hey are the giants trying to get McCarthy are the giants trying to get Drake may or the giant shot there was enough of that to make me think. I never thought that made it easy.
[00:57:53] No, no, no, no, I didn't even go what I'm saying though there was enough of that to make me think like is Daniel Jones on borrowed time right now where's like not that the giants are looking to cut them or looking to trade them or anything like that but literally if he doesn't hit the ground run like if they start out the season two and five.
[00:58:13] You know what I mean like you said is it Andrew luck time Andrew luck time you know it I mean drew yeah drew luck and you're not yeah that's a name Andrew. You know saying but anyway point me.
[00:58:28] You know say quand Barkley was able to run for 962 yards last season without Daniel Jones playing a lot you know with that bad offensive line without the threat set receiver that we talked about so now say quans gone you enter dev in single Terry who had one of his better seasons last year in Houston.
[00:58:47] So do you think that.
[00:58:49] Devon single Terry is a good enough running back to take some of that own this off of Daniel Jones did he get a year with day ball in Josh Allen and Buffalo did he go was he and Buffalo when Dave will already had the job in New York.
[00:59:05] That's a good question. I think it's running back by can if you don't have a star running back in his by committee so if you're not one of these. Oh go six to eight teams that has a star give you like at least a star feature back.
[00:59:24] We're not robbers and CMC. Say quand Derek Henry most hurt. I want to say percheco but like he's a young he's not really like the catalyst that it often so it's only like five to seven teams that really have like a bell cow running back.
[00:59:47] A lot of them is running back by committee with young quarterbacks don't want 40 pass of the game. So I think that's what the giants are probably end up turned into is just and then he catches well the back view.
[01:00:00] Yeah, so you catch well the back feel you know a check down as a best friend to a quarterback especially quarterback or struggling you want to get him you want to get on you know 1114 in the first half 140 yards.
[01:00:16] Get us some check down that guys made plays and space where maybe the defense has to adjust in the second half you give the league neighbors over the top.
[01:00:24] But as far as like setting up by base defense against the giants offense I'm just staying stand we whatever you do we run a nickel cover three for one a lot of four three whatever we running I'm standing at until Daniel Jones slices me for a drive.
[01:00:39] Right, he's going to get a couple of pass all but if he slices and bases for a whole drive okay didn't even make some adjustments but I haven't really seen at a curve like my argument for him being top 10 was based off just like he was a bit of a dual threat nearly 800 yards rushing as a quarterback.
[01:00:55] I think you had like seven touchdowns and yeah, he was like 716 or 17 pass and touchdowns so in that argument he wasn't that second tier. You know, two or one two and three three being a bottom he wasn't that second tier so.
[01:01:09] Yeah, so they didn't want to pay sick one is what that came down to they just didn't want to pay up they had already paid Daniel so and you know I think the people at large the public at large.
[01:01:20] We're so critical of the Daniel Jones contract because not a bit of a standard you're not.
[01:01:26] Why would you do that in the middle of your your star running back asking for a million extra dollars but say you got 160 million he didn't even he wouldn't even do or owe that.
[01:01:38] But the same one was up to you know 30% of that offense, you know and you know so so like and that's with Daniel Jones on the field.
[01:01:47] So so so the giants had to make a decision they weren't going to be able to keep or they could have but they didn't want to keep both of them.
[01:01:55] They plan it their flag with the quarterback because we've been lied to for years about how important the quarterback position is when there's only one dude winning Super Bowl right now.
[01:02:05] But you know like I said he has a throne for 25 touchdowns in the season yet they bring in Brian Burns he's a two time pro bowl of Florida State by the way, you know.
[01:02:15] Like I said I think I think to be there and Lawrence are going to get off this year looking at the giant schedule they couldn't have asked for a better start.
[01:02:23] You know especially like coming into a team that's coming in with all these questions you know they open with Minnesota, you know Washington early at Cleveland and then like week four and goes to hell.
[01:02:36] You know they get Dallas they take the big trip to Seattle for Sunday night football. Or we are they play Seattle.
[01:02:43] They play Cincinnati for Sunday night football, Billy and then at Pittsburgh that's a back to back stretch all of those games so we're going to find out about the giants real quick.
[01:02:53] We're going to find out about Daniel Jones real quick because same thing I said about Washington can the giants get to two and one.
[01:03:01] You know to be in if they can okay maybe we got something here but then after that stretch starting with Dallas and did with Pittsburgh. We going no one way or the other with the giants are going to be if they get same dinner week one.
[01:03:16] That should be a win. A rookie. At home. And then I don't know what's up with Cleveland like so we'll we'll preview the news you know what obviously here in week or two.
[01:03:29] But Cleveland does have top defense raining defensive player to year and to show Watson for what is worth when he's on his own.
[01:03:39] It's just for some reason that's a couple years just felt as if something is off like either with the offense or the way he plays or just his body like if he's not healed. You know just you feel like you feel like you're not.
[01:03:54] You feel like but he was he's been rusty for two years he's been injured too. Yeah, he was he had the suspension of first year in Cleveland we missed 11 games.
[01:04:04] K back he was rusty and it was guy cool now you get a whole off season you got the suspension out of the way and basically was out of no one really talked about it aside from a few massage means and jokes.
[01:04:16] But like you were essentially other things have happened in an NFL to where now your scandal is like you know it's the back page.
[01:04:26] So you figure he would come in the last year and play a lot better and it just it wasn't happen even before injury it wasn't happening right so if they could if they could help the.
[01:04:38] Yeah, they should start off want to know if not to an old plan against Sam Darno who plays like a rookie and then a rookie quarterback with that new revamp defense the games right be ugly.
[01:04:49] They might have to be content with when he games 17 to 13 or 20 to 14 and hunting when his fourth and two and a. They got to look like Ryan Tana Hill basically. Yeah, they got no time but without Dernick Henry that's the problem.
[01:05:06] Yeah, they just have to be willing to they got to be willing to look at the situation like we talked about the chief.
[01:05:12] The patch of my home is even in a super bowl there was a couple of plays where he had his arm cocky he wanted to let it go but he was like you know what I can't I can't afford to risk his ball.
[01:05:23] I'm going to check it down in the core apartment.
[01:05:25] Check it down in the check it down to the third tight end I just stand in there wide open in the middle zone let's get eight yards and go to second into versus trying to hit this bomb on first and 10.
[01:05:38] They might have to just understand again we paid their Jones 40 million dollars but we got to play him like he's getting four million dollars like he's a rookie until he gets into the groove and you know back issues hit because yeah back problem before the ACL.
[01:05:52] So that's a big that's a big guy like he runs like I think like 65 to 35 to 40.
[01:05:59] Yeah, that's a big that's a big body so you want to make sure that you're working on the offense and just have real expectations if they keep it weak by week they have a chance to be like you said 21.
[01:06:10] That game gets Dallas maybe by week four doubts like all the contract stuff kind of rear to slightly head and maybe there's some inclusion. Very similar to how.
[01:06:21] I'm feeling kind of fell apart maybe you right maybe you get a couple weeks like that we just get a couple of games you just catch people of guard.
[01:06:28] Defends gets a strip sack just something that you can kind of build on but long as you don't come by here trying to 42 passes a week one. The milk neighbors.
[01:06:38] Or is he good we only get eight targets you know stuff like that right so just to put a bull warning. You know I'm gonna go with you know against my better will. I'm gonna go with Philly to finish 11 and 6. You know I got Dallas at 10 and 7.
[01:06:59] I got Washington 7 and 10 and I got the Giants 5 and 12. I like you 7 and 10. You 5 and 12 6 and 11 seems about the Giants range. I have a little bit I got a little faith in Dallas. I got the winning culture.
[01:07:27] I just felt like I think that the way they play at home. So if we look at this category double check make sure it. So that's. 1 2 3 4 5 6. Yeah I'm gonna get six home games. I can't be right I got me reneuer on.
[01:07:52] Yes, so their home games are New Orleans Baltimore Detroit. Hello, you used in New York Cincinnati Tampa Bay in Washington. So they got nine. They play well at home. They undefeated home like I said to the playoffs.
[01:08:11] So if they if they just hold serve at home that's nine wins right there. You know having an advantage of having the 17 game season and had. I got I got Baltimore and Detroit I got Baltimore Detroit winning there. And I appreciate your game. I appreciate you.
[01:08:41] Yeah, so I never seen you wear the hat break it out. Bring about. You know, say it's hard to yell when the barrels in your mouth. Yeah, I got Dallas winning the vision. Okay.
[01:08:56] Like I said, I just I just don't trust the maturity of the Philadelphia coach because whatever the problems were that ended their season. I haven't seen anything that. That says it says it says it's fixed. Right. So I can really I know.
[01:09:13] Jailman's going to be a good leader. But if his this interest was associated with. Seriani because remember the Super Bowl when they challenged the play. And he started like waving over to the sideline and Jailman had to pull his hand down like.
[01:09:34] Why is your 20 sub the year of quarterback. Telling the damn their 40 year old head coach to not taught.
[01:09:42] The team's city chief like I mean why why am I telling you like why are you doing this I'm out here the same way I like my consumer the same way I like my consumer I like big bad geo as well.
[01:09:53] So so I think we're going to see improvement on Philadelphia's defense, you know I think that. When I look at like I said I just think that Philadelphia has the most talent in the division like Dallas has lost a lot like they didn't necessarily lose.
[01:10:10] It's not a relative name. Yeah, like Dallas, this was not about. But they lost I think enough of their depth that just gives me concern was as Steven A would say it gives me calls to pause.
[01:10:24] But maybe they see something because like I said you got to give Jerry's flowers on his ability to build the team it just he's got to get the hell out of the way. I think if he didn't do interviews.
[01:10:37] If he like he'd start doing as many radio shows during that rumble era like if he just wanted started peeling back after Romo and just kind of let that but once that got good it felt like it just ramped up.
[01:10:52] Because you have a young running back young quarterback rookie deals on paying everybody else we bought to make a run at this thing and it's like the bottom falls out.
[01:11:01] The Aaron Rogers throw because Dallas would have been a number one seed the year that Atlanta went to a suitable. I was ever talking about that I was like man I really want I like that I'm like he was like I really like that.
[01:11:12] I like he was like what do you rather have. And if she's championship on the road. All right so read bad home I was like but I was I think that year as you know it started building some magazines then but then Jerry's comment.
[01:11:29] I'm looking for you three months month right. Is is Dallas going to beat San Francisco before I turn 50. They're not beating them this year. Yeah, they're not beating them this year. Yeah that's the definitely beat them this year.
[01:11:52] I don't like to say we'll do our energy West preview but. I don't have a little hard game but I got you. Yeah. I have a little bit of faith in Dallas I said just because I think there I think their professionals in the building.
[01:12:08] I don't know if they're going to operate a little bit more a little bit more a headie than Philly. I think that if that if that's going to be the difference. Especially with the the loss of those leaders so like I said I think Jalen.
[01:12:24] As we've seen in Alabama we see them together and came into game and I see them when he went to Oklahoma and you know and the high has been conversation. I think did he went at I don't think he went to high school.
[01:12:35] He was he was in that conversation so and then getting drafted in the second round behind Carson Winston and step banana just building I think he does have strong loose of capabilities.
[01:12:48] But the loss of the other veterans that counts like that's the count for something is it's not you know it's not nothing as people say and under us at double negative.
[01:12:57] But the Syrian peace is probably the peace I will if I had to make a bit my bet will be on Dallas the win the division. Yes, so I think we both agreed though on three and four so Washington there are giants last. Yes.
[01:13:11] Well, I could live with that you know so you know what we got next I think we got a see east mix with an ASE. Yes, I'll be honest. Eastern East.
[01:13:22] Yeah, so you know and just before you all even think about it no I am not picking the Buffalo bills to win the F's he eats this year.
[01:13:29] But you know we'll see what happens we'll see how the Christmas crumbles but stay tuned you know sports reports is over coming at you on Thursday. Like how we go no not an arm bro you got an extra game up in there.
[01:13:44] You know I guess we can go nine and eight right make the playoffs and then I guess lose in the first round so you know I said you I caught the game but Joe like reviews subscribe do all the free things share with your friends share what you're going on.
[01:14:04] I suppose reports is order to figure movements and tips that but wait you know people with j prints like cam and mace how the back see you with a few days much love peace.
[01:14:14] As soon as I can get the music going but you know we salute anyway, you got to say it is what it is there it is. Home. I have to eat this next. Peace. Hala.
